This morning the Holy Spirit in our communion time revealed to me more about the unveiling of the Person and character of Jesus in our personal lives so that we are completely lost in who He is and ourselves only reflect who He is. The Holy Spirit reminded me that no matter the level we walked in yesterday there is a new facet of truth for today that compliments and further broadens our scope and working knowledge of Jesus’s authority and how we execute it on the earth to expand out His Kingdom and glory.
I was so full yesterday after my time with the Holy Spirit but have come to realize by reason of experience that after such an awesome time with the Lord there is always a greater place I must press towards which keeps me in check and reminds me of my total utter dependence on the Holy Spirit to guide my actions and keep me rooted in the Spirit in my walk with the Lord.
As I have meditated this morning on the book of Revelation it has been like a brand new experience again with the Lord as my eyes have been opened to things I wonder now how I did not seem to recognize before though I looked carefully at each verse and believed them and received them time and time again.
However when the Holy Spirit highlights truth it is a completely different matter as the perspective He comes from far outweighs my thoughts just as it is written. Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has entered the heart of man the things the Lord has prepared for those who love Him , but He reveals them to us through the Holy Spirit.
It is amazing to behold what John experienced of the Person of Jesus on whose bosom he rested on years and the revealed Jesus he saw as the unveiling of Jesus in His glorified state actually is. John is so awestruck that he falls down as though dead as he sees the resurrected and glorified Jesus from His glorified state in heaven with all authority at His disposal.
This is years after John’s faithful service and witness of who Jesus was to nations and had experienced of His power at work. That reality should always keep us humble because no matter what we have experienced of the Lord it is not the end of who He is in real terms.
Let me now share some of the things the Holy Spirit pointed out to me in this morning’s communion time. As I looked at Revelation.1:5&6 my attention was immediately taken to Romans.5:17 which reads these awesome words of deliverance For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Now I have realized that words describing what God has done are not spoken to impress us with fancy language but, truly even come short many a time of the real import of how great and awesome God actually is and does on our behalf.
It is clear from this statement that what Adam did meant that death has reigned in the human race because of his singular action. This is the reason for iniquity working out in men and our propensity to sin. I was never trained to sin but taught the right things to do by my Parents however I just seemed to be moved to do the wrong thing I was not taught, till Jesus found and saved me and opened my heart to the reality I could live free of sin.
The much more Paul speaks about here is that the sacrifice of Jesus far outweighs the sin of adam and as a result we are able to receive an abundance of grace. This therefore must be our goal much more grace.
That is every grace which is God’s supernatural ability to do and be what God said we could be. Everything necessary for every human being regardless of your background to walk in that which causes us to triumph. This is what Jesus has made available to us so we don’t keep tripping up and missing the mark by stumbling and continually falling short of the will of God.
When you face persecution and hurt for helping others and freeing people from the enemy and you are hurt for no reason but jealousy it can be very trying and distressing but Jesus in this statement makes clear that no matter what transpires in life you will triumph and reign because He gives you the necessary grace and gift of righteousness to make that a reality. You always reign in every situation in life.
I heard Kathryn Kuhlman say that Jesus has done for us so much that we should not suffer a single defeat in any situation in life. I believed that word and have sought live by it so I can experience everything Jesus paid for me to have.
Today again the Holy Spirit is reminding me of its reality and despite my weaknesses and failures as a human, my reliance must be on what Jesus did and provided through Grace to make me able to partake of His righteousness that enables me to reign in life, not my righteousness.
The Apostle Paul goes on to say in 2 Timothy.4:16-18 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them.17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
This is the picture the Holy Spirit was pointing out to me this morning which John experienced of Jesus on the Isle of Patmos: that it was His grace that brought us out triumphant regardless of where we had been trapped and held in captivity.
No wonder Paul could pen down these words in Romans.5 because he experienced personal deliverance and triumph and got to reign in life by the abundant grace of God and His gift of righteousness which Paul knew would work continuously to deliver Paul from every evil work satan could muster to bring Paul down and preserve Paul to complete his service to the Lord on this earth of reaching the Gentile world for the name of Jesus which Paul went on to accomplish.
What the Holy Spirit has planned for us to accomplish for Jesus far transcends our human imaginations but is real and He will grace us with everything necessary to make it come to pass to glorify His Holy Name as we get to reign in life by Jesus the Anointed One.
My prayer for you this morning is that as you hear these words the abundance of grace contained in them will give you all the necessary help, aid and support you need individually to make it through every obstacle and find yourself back in the center of God’s will for your life as a triumpher in all things of evil that seek to harm you and you end up reigning in life by what Jesus did to position you in that place of glory for His name sake.
Let your heart meditate on what Jesus did to save and deliver you and present you to be for His service a true witness of His grace and power for men to see. Break free from the condemnation of the enemy and see yourself walking in the place Jesus ordained for you to be and remember that it is Jesus who asked you to follow Him so He could make you. Not you make yourself as that will fail miserably. Jesus has every equipment and grace available to make you succeed.
So you need to submit and yield to that grace and watch what the Holy Spirit will make out of your life for the glory of Jesus: A banner of light, A gem of glory and standard Bearer of the Omnipotent Power of the Most High God on earth through signs, wonders and unusual miracles and manifestations of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.
