The Holy Spirit this morning in my communion time reminded me of Hebrews.12:1 & 2 which reads these words 12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Holy Spirit emphasized the reality of what surrounds our lives which is a cloud of witnesses who have stories of triumph which God did for their lives that rain down miraculous answers for any situation that can possibly rise up against us or which we may face that seek to rob us of our peace and the plan of God for our lives. There is a solution for every problem which the Lord has covered before. We can glean from and hold onto this to see us through every possible attack or opposition to the knowledge of God concerning our lives fulfilling the plan of the Lord for us.

Let us therefore investigate the reality of this promise with the Holy Spirit and ensure we are receiving the blessings within it ordained for our glory. Firstly we must realize that the great cloud of witnesses are proof holders and sharers/partakers in what they have experienced when faced with obstacles that almost took them out, but where God stepped in and brought them out by a miraculous intervention which startled the enemy that had come against them.

They have a story of glory which is evidence that can be used in court to decide the outcome of any similar case because it has become the precedent to guide judgment for all other cases covering that area in life.

Let this reality saturate your being and take over your thoughts so you can be in position to lay hold and receive all the Father has determined for you to have in this season. We are told in scripture that satan is the accuser of the brethren Revelation.12:10 and does this accusing day and night.

However we are told that we must overcome him and not allow the accusations to determine the course of our lives. When it comes to accusations we need to defend ourselves otherwise if they are brought up in court we can be convicted if we do not oppose those accusations vehemently and give a defense against those charges. The blood of Jesus is our plea.

Now you can see why the cloud of witnesses is such a blessing for us because we have those who won in those situations as witnesses to the fact that we also will come out triumphant because the same Lord who brought them out triumphantly is here to do the same for us and they carry the proof of this reality which becomes our defense. This is because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Thank God He never changes.

This is why the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years could believe that if she touched the Hem of His garment she would be healed and she was because she had heard that Jesus had healed all sick people that came to Him and her situation would be no different if she just touched Him.

This reality worked perfectly for her so that as she touched Jesus virtue flowed out of Him and she was instantly healed and Jesus knew that power had gone from Him and healed someone and wanted to know so Jesus could encourage us through her testimony that we could count on the cloud of witnesses testimony to receive what God had already done before on our behalf to make us whole from any obstacle or oppression of the devil.

Let us go further with the Holy Spirit and tap into this grace which will bring us remarkable testimonies of triumph. After recognising the reality of the Cloud of witnesses we then need to lay aside or put away from our thoughts, minds, emotions and intellects every weight of bondage or oppression and the temptation it affords us to sin. This desire to sin that so easily besets us because it offers temporary reprieve and an easy way out where we just need to succumb and yield to the desire and have its benefits.

We are offered through the cloud of witnesses who went past the sin and gained the promise the ability to put aside the weight of sin and look to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith or Trust who proved faithful even in death and experience the same triumph through His grace working on our behalf through His endurance working for us to bring us to the finish line and gain the inheritance.

This is such an honour and privilege to share in the grace Jesus provided for us to be strong enough to overcome every obstacle death throws at us and come out with life and that in its fullest measure with a story of glory.

My prayer for you today is that as you receive these words you will experience the realization of them in your life today and walk in the manifestation of Jesus’ power doing exceedingly and abundantly above all you could ask or think according to His power at work in you creating a story of glory in your lives that will speak loud and clear of the Kingdom of Jesus faithfully still working on the Earth for men to see and trust in Him to serve His Lordship on this earth in Jesus name. Amen.

Have a Fruitful and productive day in Jesus name. Amen.

In my communion time this morning with the Holy Spirit He reminded me of how people will learn what righteousness is. We most times think that righteousness will be learnt as more love is extended to the wicked and they repent of wickedness. The reality is they won’t change because you show more love.Revelation.2:20-23.

However the Lord Himself dealt with this question in Isaiah.26:9 which reads With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are on the earth,The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

It is very important to remember that our thoughts on truth are not what truth is but what the Lord says on matters are what truth is and that truth alone can make us free. So let us look at this word in Isaiah.26 and grasp what the Lord is teaching us so we can see the hand of the Lord manifested on our behalf. This is part of a song of deliverance for God’s people who will be freed.

We see the soul desiring the Lord at night and the spirit within seeking God early. In other words we see a passion in the heart of man for God day and night and then these words as an answer from the Lord which will establish His Kingdom on earth. When the judgments of God are seen on the earth people learn righteousness.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that in Hebrews.1:8 & 9 we read these words. But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Jesus loved righteousness and hated lawlessness and established His throne on earth through righteousness because that is what His scepter of His authority is based on.

The Holy Spirit had revealed to me clearly that no kingdom of righteousness can be established unless there is an effective system of justice in place to deal with offenders that sets the example.

Certainly the Lord made clear in Psalm.89:14 that Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. The throne of God without justice is missing the other part of its foundation and therefore will not stand which is impossible with God because God’s throne is already established in heaven so the problem will be on earth if no justice executed supports the righteousness of God.

This is why we are told that when the judgments of God are on earth people learn what righteousness is.

Jesus further emphasizes this reality in Luke.18:1-8 when He talks about His disciples praying for justice to be served on earth and concludes by saying in verse: 6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.

Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Will my people be contending for justice to be seen and have the faith required to see righteousness be learned by people on earth. A demonstration of Justice that proves the reality of righteousness that men see to learn from.

Let me now share a clear portrait of this reality demonstrated through the Apostle Paul in Acts.13:6-12.

This story shows how the Proconsul learns what righteousness is when justice is executed by the apostle Paul over Elymas the sorcerer for the proconsul to see its manifestation in the immediate which enables him to make a decision to follow righteousness verses:10-12 and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? 11 And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

The reality of this which the Holy Spirit pointed out to me is that as the judgment of the Lord was released on earth in this instant the Proconsul learned what righteousness was by the teaching of the Lord and was no longer in two minds about truth but could now with confidence defend and walk in the truth of Jesus Paul had taught him.

May the Holy Spirit grant you the grace to walk in this reality in the Name of Jesus and begin to see the teaching of the Lord manifest on your behalf as the justice of God is executed on your behalf and people learn what righteousness is and the Kingdom of Jesus is established on the earth as the Lord has determined and you are no longer an obstacle to the will of the Lord being done on earth as in heaven in Jesus name. Amen.

As you receive this word.Remember that Jesus has already expressed all the love by coming as a man and taking our sins and has offered us the opportunity to become sons of God through receiving the truth. Non-receiving of what Jesus did to save your soul is what disqualifies men from salvation because Jesus has already made the atonement for our souls.John.3:16-21.

The Holy Spirit says today stop using your mouth to darken His way for you and hinder your path. Stop the negative thoughts and words you speak when alone, because those are the times God and your enemy sees that others are not aware of and those are the words that define your life. Job.38:2.

The positive words you speak in Church in the presence of others don’t define you as they are spoken for the benefit of others but the Lord wants you to speak His words when you’re by yourself and feel helpless for that is when His words will be your strength and give you grace to overcome.

Refrain from giving your enemy ammunition to shoot you down with, and give God yours words of agreement that you will succeed and fulfill His will for your life. So today repent for continually giving voice to the enemy and receive grace to yield your voice to the Holy Spirit who will bring you out to triumph.

You will not fail if you turn and give the Holy Spirit your words of agreement and support today and going forward. Actually things will progress speedily on your behalf and you will have resolution and restoration on negative events that have transpired as you agree with God’s word for you, and you will have a great time of celebration in the goodness of the Lord. Malachi.3:16-18.

So step in using God’s words and watch the remarkable changes that will occur in your life in Jesus Name. Amen. Have an astounding Day in the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit wants you to know today that some needless things in life you suffer are only because you did not commit them to Him in prayer and are responsible for the much heartache and shame in your lives. Many of the things we believe we can handle are the very things the enemy uses to trap us and make a mockery of our Covenant relationship with God. The Holy Spirit reminded me of a situation that happened when we as a family went on vacation to Florida.

We had committed all our plans to Him and prayed on all the things we would do, but only did not pray about the Church services we would attend as we knew the ministry we would attend as we knew the Pastor and the messages he preached. We presumed that because it was a Christian event it would be fine.

Well guess what! That was the only hitch we had and as we went to the service on that day we had so many hitches on the way going and we wanted to turn back, but suddenly the way seemed to open up making us believe God was on our side and we would be blessed. Once we arrived at the Church all sorts of things started going wrong and continued happening. Till in the end after leaving the service we had an accident where a motorcycle hit us from the back which nearly ruined our whole trip.

Satan tried to use our concern for the driver of the motorcycle being hurt to minister to him to cause me to be charged as the police came by and wanted to put points on my license for an accident I did not cause. He broke his legs in the fall because he was going very fast. I was hit from the back at a traffic light on a red light as I stopped to obey the sign, but the driver wanted to beat the light so did not stop and he was drunk so ran into the back of the car. The Lord was gracious to us and we got a solution as we spoke to the policeman who explained to us the law in Florida if you are hit from the back.This meant we could enjoy the rest of our trip and not have this charge against me.

However, that problem: the accident followed us home and was not resolved until much later when the Holy Spirit spoke to me to let the matter go as the rental company sought to get the man to pay for the damage but he had no insurance. He reminded me that because I had not committed that portion of the trip to Him we had so much trouble because the enemy had room to do things we could not imagine.

The Holy Spirit was reminding me today to bring every small thing to Him and not presume I can handle it because it seems small. He reminded me to commit all my ways to Him and not exclude what I think I have covered. We must allow Him to cover every area as we talk to Him on the small details which seem insignificant but can become a huge mountain before us.

So today bring to the Holy Spirit all the small things you are sure you can handle and watch how you will avoid major obstacles and problems which have been your failures in the past. Please take note of these words and let the grace flowing from them empower you to reflect on your journey with the Lord and get free from the presumption that has harmed you in the past in Jesus Name. Amen.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit [which you should make a practice] this morning He spoke to me about not allowing the negative words of people or even family to determine who we believe we are. Throw them off as rags and don’t let them sit on you.

He reminded me that our identity is determined by what God has said we are and no other voice can change that reality. Just as the Father spoke to Jesus in Luke.3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”This is God’s plan for us to have our identity from the words He speaks about and over us.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that when He made a Covenant with Abraham ,He pointed out that He would bless those who bless Abraham and He would curse those who curse Abraham.Genesis.12:3 says I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

In other words anyone who spoke contrary to what God spoke about Abraham God would deal with. It also indicated that God knew that people would not agree with God’s perspective of Abraham and would voice it. He reminded me that no one could speak and it comes to pass against us when He the Lord had not ordained it. It is our duty He said to only speak what the Lord says about us and reject what is not His will for us.

This the Holy Spirit pointed out to me is what we need to make a habit. Our priority and not allowing the accusing voice of the enemy determine our course. The enemy does speak through people and in particular those we trust when he wants to deceive and move us away from the God ordained path. He spoke through Peter to stop Jesus going to the cross and Jesus responded by rebuking the devil using Peter’s voice.

The Holy Spirit cautioned me to be aware of the fact that though we resist the voice of satan we are not to vilify the human vessel. He reminded me how Jesus responded to Judas after he kissed Him and betrayed Him. He was decent and cordial.Truly loving. It was satan that entered Judas and Judas only performed satan’s will which is to steal, kill and destroy.

So today take hold of this truth and allow the grace in these words to give you strength to resist negative words spoken against you and empower you to focus on God’s words spoken over your life which have given you a future, a hope and an expected end of glory in your service for Him in Jesus Name. Amen

In my time with the Holy Spirit today He pointed out to me to look at whose interests I was serving whether the Master Jesus or family or business or my Boss. The Holy Spirit pointed out that most times we are just doing things as per rote and are not conscious that we are no longer serving His purpose but just drifting in life hoping for the best and believing convinced in ourselves that we are serving God’s purpose. He pointed out to me to look at what are Jesus’ interests and how do we match those in what we do daily.

Take stock of your actions. What are your priorities for the day? Work, family, school runs, and do we put these things before our service for Him. Do we ask what the Lord wants to achieve today as opposed to help me achieve my plan for today? Well if we want the Honour that comes from Him that is sweet we are going to have to serve His purpose not ours as the flesh profits nothing.

He spoke from Proverbs:27.18. which reads Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored. He reminded me that it is the Spirit that gives life.John:6.63. Life can become bitter easily He pointed out and we are quick to complain that things are not working but slow to admit that we are not serving the Lord’s interests.

The Holy Spirit pointed out to me to prioritize time with Him in the morning earlier in order to know His heart for the day and things to avoid and where not to go that we had planned that would be dangerous and cause us harm. Following the Lord’s interests always gives life because they never fail to produce miraculous results.

So my brethren take note of these words and make all the necessary adjustments to ensure you are daily serving Jesus’ interests and not yours, be open to the Holy Spirit to be an answer for someone who needs lifting and needs to know God’s love today, don’t only be in a rush for yourself and your needs. Be open to minister the life of Christ to someone in need.

Help someone the Lord wants you to and stop denying it to yourself, that the Lord has need for you to be a vessel He can work through. The Lord knows your heart and the avoidance you are using as an excuse to refrain from being an extension of the hand of the Lord to someone in need.

Take the God action today and let sweetness of the Holy Spirit be restored back to your life and relationship with Him. May the grace in these words empower you to take action and watch how sweet your day will flow as the Holy Spirit has reign in your life. Have a glorious, fruitful and productive day in Jesus Name. Amen.

This morning in my communion time with the Holy Spirit He reminded me of more things about Himself to me from the Bible. It appears to me that the Holy Spirit wants us so loaded with His nature and character to such a degree that only He the Holy Spirit is visible in our life and that we are completely following and serving the will of Jesus. Lord come more and more till we are totally saturated with your Presence and Power exuding from us as with Jesus.

Let me share some of the nuggets of truth He revealed to me and deeper insight into truths I already knew but got a greater understanding and further application of how to use more effectively to bring more glory to the Lord.

In 1 Corinthians.2:9-12 we read these words But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of what He shared with me yesterday of seeing beyond the plain and mountain the things God has made available for me to experience in this present season. Well the Holy Spirit is the person through whom we can get to know these deep things of God because He alone can search all things even the deeper things of God.

This is why you always find me stressing the importance of having fellowship time with the Holy Spirit because without Him any knowledge you have of God will be of no use to you because your natural mind will prevent you understanding it because it cannot discern the things of the Spirit and you will fall flat on your face.

Jesus never says anything lightly so when He said it is to your advantage that I go away because if I don’t the Holy Spirit cannot come to you. He knew the importance of us having the Holy Spirit to help us in our weaknesses and empower us to serve the Lord in Spirit and truth for that is what the Father seeks.

We cannot serve God in the flesh with truth because that is a lie ,because the flesh will not serve the Lord in truth. but the Holy Spirit serves only the truth because He is the Spirit of truth.

You will notice that truth needs to be revealed to us, in other words God has to open our spiritual eyes to truth. This is because the heart of man loves lies or deception because it is deceitful not truthful as God pointed out to Jeremiah in Jeremiah.17:9 & 10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? 10 I, the Lord, search the heart,I test the mind,Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Only the Holy Spirit can search the heart of man and test man’s heart so how can you expect you can do anything without His help, guidance and insight that is worth life. This is why we need to walk closely with the Holy Spirit because He alone reveals the truth on any matter and shows us future events.

I recall when my brothers thought I was crazy with this God pursuit and had smart answers for me when I tried to convert them and the Holy Spirit spoke to me to leave them alone and focus on walking with Him. He then started revealing things to me about future events which I told them that happened each time concerning themselves, and they all came to pass.

Let me tell you something, they started wanting me to speak to them about the God thing now because they saw the manifestation of the Holy Spirit each time I spoke rather than my pleas and words using scripture to convince them.

This message of the Kingdom is not words only but the manifestation of the Holy Spirit that makes things happen for men to see and know God is real.

Verse.12 of 1 Corinthians.2 points out the crux of the matter that we have received not the spirit of this world but the Spirit that is from God so that we might know the things that have been freely given us by God. Jesus wants us to know by the Holy Spirit everything He purposed us to have.

He does not want us living in suspense, not sure of our experience with God but in the knowledge of God downloaded to us by the Holy Spirit. We need to surrender more to the Holy Spirit just as Jesus did when living on the earth.

He did everything under the direction of the Holy Spirit and had absolutely perfect results. We need to have the same tenacity Jesus had to seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit and walk in it rather than our natural instincts. We need to reject the spirit of the world and with open arms receive and embrace the Holy Spirit of truth to guide and direct our lives to triumph in the Lord.

My heart prayer for you this morning is that as you hear these words the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to truth and empower you with grace as He did Noah to build the Ark of the Holy Spirit for your life to be saved and rescued and you live on the other side of the floods and turmoil that have plagued your life in the Power of the Holy Spirit of truth triumphant in every area of your life in the name of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit wants you knowing everything you need spiritually to walk triumphantly in this season so you are no longer running hit and miss patterns of life and death, but experiencing the life and that more abundantly that Jesus bought and paid for you to experience. May this be your personal story in this season in Jesus name. Amen.
