Today I want to share the concluding truths involved in having the Lord as the first point of going to by seeking Him rather than relying on human friendships and relationships as our first point of help in times of trouble.
I pray that the Holy Spirit who revealed these truths to me will make them come alive in your heart and give you a fresh outpouring of grace to walk in the fullness of this reality which will revolutionize your walk in life from this time forward in Jesus name. Amen.
Jesus also could not rely on His closest three disciples to watch Him pray in the garden of Gethsemane but they fell asleep. However, the Holy Spirit gave Him strength to carry through to victory and that is the place where the Lord wants us to live in complete reliance on the Holy Spirit for all things. Luke.22:40-46.
Even the Apostle Paul faced this situation when he spoke that in his first defence all men forsook him but the Lord stood by him and delivered him from his enemies 2 Timothy.4:16-18. This is the greatest strength we will ever have to be able to go to God ourselves and have Him bring us through by the power of the Holy Spirit.
May you today by the grace imparted through these words find the ability to look to the Lord by relying on the Holy Spirit as your first go to help in every situation in life. Romans.8:26-28.Then let Him be your answer so you don’t have to lose relationships in order to learn this reality in life. The Lord wants us to love Him with all our hearts, souls and bodies for this is the first commandment.
When you look at that instruction in the first commandment there is no room for the desires in our hearts for anything that God does not want. So we must be willing to give Him our all in order to have His all. I recall when the Holy Spirit spoke this to me and told me to surrender all the unfulfilled desires I had as a child which satan was now wanting to fulfill in my life to rob me of my God reward.
Jesus gave His all to accomplish the will of the Father and the Father gave His all to Jesus to rule with Him in the position of Glory eternally. What an honor that we have been granted the privilege to share in that position of glory if we give Him all our hearts in Jesus’ name. Amen. John.17:24.
