The Holy Spirit wants me to encourage you this morning through words from the book of Hebrews.10:35 & 36 which says these words: Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Many of you have faithfully done the will of God in spite of facing all sorts of obstacles, mountain sized barriers but have refused to cave in. You have held on to your faith in the fiercest battles and wonder why you have not received the reward the bible says you should have after having done all that is necessary to stand.

Well today the Holy Spirit has good news for you which should lift you up and push you through to the position of triumph regardless of how weak, tired and frustrated you may feel having withstood so much conflict.

Let me remind you firstly that no matter what you feel or think is happening to you is not the reality of life status. It is only the sum total of events and various situations involving the choices you made in those situations that are trying to convince you that you will not make it through again this time.

“Your dire situation is forcing you to believe you are locked in a stranglehold from which you cannot escape but that is not the accurate truth.”

This is because your Father can do all things by making impossible things become possible. Remind yourself that in His Presence He always gives life to the dead and calls things which do not exist as though they did, so you have no reason to fear the negative vibes because your help is on the way. Romans.4:17.

You will come out triumphant with a new song of deliverance.

The Holy Spirit wants you however to embrace this faith stance at this present moment which Hebrews.10:35 & 36 says you need to have in order to benefit and gain all the Father has for you.

Under no circumstances: “ Don’t cast away your confidence in who God is to you, what He did for you and the inheritance He has provided for you because He never fails anyone who has trusted in Him.”1 Peter.1:4 & 5.

You will not be the first candidate the Lord goes on to fail to bring out triumphant.

Many like you have already come out of much worse than you are facing so you need to be strong by refusing to budge regardless of the fear and trepidation you feel. They are only feelings and they do not kill.

“ They desire you to give into their pressure and fall into defeat.”

Your confidence in the Lord however has a great reward attached to it. Just look at what the Apostle John says about confidence in 1John.5:14 & 15: Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Anything we ask the Lord no matter the present condition He will give us in accordance with His will which means that though everything is bleak and dark we know that the Holy Spirit will step in by making a way through for us if we only ask Him.

Anything means there is nothing left out and that is why we must not cast away our confidence because as long as we hold on to it we will certainly come out victorious in glorious triumph. We just know that we know that God will not fail to make a miraculous way out for us.

“Your confidence in the Lord’s ability means everything to you so you must fight to keep hold of it as it will never let you down.” Ephesians.3:20.

“ Your confidence is your deposit of strength from the Holy Spirit that ensures you will come through no matter what happens.”

This is exactly what the Apostle Paul used on the ship in Acts.27 which meant he knew he would be saved regardless of the relentless force of the storm with the Lord giving him all the people onboard the ship with him to be rescued.

Confidence in the Lord’s ability to save him is what the Apostle Peter in Acts.12 knew that meant he could sleep in Prison on the night before his trial for execution the next day by Herod and he was gloriously delivered.

Can you imagine the fear Peter felt as he lay there chained to officers because they knew God had done some saving of them in prison before so they ensured he was completely bound.

However God still broke right through their protection and still delivered Peter by bringing him out alive, unharmed and well. Peter went on to fulfill the plan of God for his life with this great testimony of deliverance.

The Holy Spirit wants you to know today that it is your turn to come out into total freedom as you fearlessly hold onto your confidence in the Lord’s ability. You will come out unharmed with a testimony of triumph having such significance that all will marvel and say this is the hand of the Most High working on your behalf. Even doubters of your faith in God will have to admit that a notable miracle has been done to save you.

So lay hold of these words of truth by letting the grace released in them propel you to hold on vehemently to your confidence without wavering and experience the mighty hand of the Lord working on your behalf in the name of Jesus. Amen.
