In this time of communion, the Holy Spirit impressed upon the me to share a word of encouragement that would position us as followers of Jesus for victory and align us accurately with the Lord’s ordained path in this season, by enabling us to receive and walk in every good and perfect gift the Father has prepared for us.

The Holy Spirit first directed my attention to Hebrews 6:10, which reminds us as followers of Jesus of the reality that the Lord is always faithful and never unfair in any situation. The Lord never forgets the beautiful work we have done for His name, nor the love we have demonstrated toward His people. Every act of faithful service, every labour of love, and every sacrifice made for the glory of Jesus is remembered by the Lord and recorded for reward. Nothing we ever offer to the Lord is ever overlooked or wasted.

The Holy Spirit revealed clearly that the always Lord keeps a record of every act of faithful service we do towards His name. Through His heavenly administration, He stores these works until the appointed time when He brings forth the reward He has prepared as our reward. At the proper season, the Lord unveils what has been recorded concerning His faithful servants, by demonstrating publicly how precious we are to Him by releasing His rewards and fulfilling His promises in our lives.

This truth is reinforced through Malachi 3:16–18, where those who feared the Lord and meditated on His name were written in a Book of Remembrance before the Lord. The Lord declared that they would become His treasured possession that is His jewels or Ensigns and that He would spare us as a father spares a faithful son. Through this process of reward, the distinction between those who serve the Lord faithfully and those who do not would once again becomes clearly evident.

This message emphasises that remembrance is central to the Lord’s nature. Throughout Scripture, we see the Lord continually remembering His covenant, His promises, and His people. Unlike man, who may fail under pressure or neglect their commitments because of negative influences, the Lord never abandons what He has spoken. What He has declared with His mouth, His hand will faithfully accomplish. His promises remain certain regardless of circumstances, and we as His followers can confidently rest in His unwavering faithfulness.

The Holy Spirit also highlighted the fact that the Lord remembers every expression of love shown toward His people. Just as the Lord promised Abraham that He would bless those who blessed him, so too the Lord repays acts of kindness and love shown to others for His name’s sake. Every act of compassion, encouragement, generosity, and service offered to others in obedience to Christ is noticed by the Lord and will receive His reward.

Therefore, as followers of Jesus we are encouraged to expect the Lord to express His love back to us through people and circumstances. Just as we have poured out love for the benefit of others, we should anticipate and expect to receive the Lord’s goodness in return in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over through the hands of men. This divine reciprocation becomes a testimony of the Lord’s faithfulness and demonstrates His covenant love.

As the Lord rewards His faithful servants, He uses these rewards to remove the shame, disgrace, and the pain that may have accompanied seasons of sacrificial obedience. He publicly affirms those who have remained faithful, placing His stamp of approval upon their lives and revealing to all that they are blessed and highly favoured by the Most High God.

The Holy Spirit is therefore calling all followers of Jesus to meditate on the Father’s faithful nature throughout the day. By embracing this truth, and receiving it by faith, to walk in its reality, you can be assured that you will witness the landscape of your lives being transformed in ways that magnify our heavenly Father and testify to the fact on earth that Jesus Christ is truly Lord.

May the Holy Spirit establish your heart in the unchanging truth that the Lord is faithful and never forgets our labour of love according to Hebrews 6:10. May every act of obedience, every sacrifice, kindness, and faithful service you have offered for the glory of Jesus be brought into remembrance before the Lord, just as declared in Malachi 3:16–18. May the Book of Remembrance speak on your behalf, and may the Lord reveal you as one of His treasured jewels.

May every season of shame, disappointment, delay, and hidden service give way to divine recognition, restoration, and reward. May the love you have sown return to you in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, bringing glory to the Lord’s name and revealing His favour upon your life.

May you go forward with unwavering confidence in the Father’s faithfulness, by walking in every good and perfect gift He has prepared for you and living your life as a testimony that Jesus Christ is Lord in Jesus’ name, Amen.
