The Holy Spirit wants me to encourage you this morning through words from the book of Hebrews.10:35 & 36 which says Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Many of you have done the will of God faithfully and faced all sorts of obstacles, and still refused to cave in, held on in fierce battles. You wonder why you have not received the reward/promise the bible says you should have after having done all that is necessary to stand.

Well today the Holy Spirit has good news for you which should lift you up and push you through to the position of triumph regardless of how weak, tired and frustrated you may feel.

First of all you must remember that no matter what you feel or think is happening to you, that is not the reality of life. This is what events, various situations and choices you made in those instances that are trying to convince you that you will not make it through this time.

“Your complex situation forces you to believe you are locked in a stranglehold from which you cannot escape but that is not the accurate truth.”

Since your Father can do all things and can make impossible things become possible and always gives life to the dead. Then He calls things which do not exist as though they did, then you have no reason to fear because your help is on the way.

You will come out winning with a song of deliverance.

The Holy Spirit wants you however to embrace this stance at this moment that Hebrews.10:35 & 36 says you need to have to benefit and gain all the Father has for you.

“ Don’t cast away your confidence in who God is to you, what He did for you and the inheritance He has provided for you because He never fails anyone who has trusted in Him.”

You will not be the first candidate where God goes on to fail helping out.

Many have already come out of much worse than you are facing so you need to be strong and refuse to budge regardless of the fear and trepidation you feel. They are only feelings and they do not kill.

“ They desire you to give into their pressure and fall into defeat.” So resist that ungodly pressure.

Your confidence has a great reward attached to it. Look at what the Apostle John says about it in 1 John.5:14 & 15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Anything we ask the Lord He will give us in accordance with His will which means that though everything is bleak and seems dark we know that God will step in and make a way through for us if we only ask Him.

Anything means nothing is left out and that is why we must not cast away that confidence because as long as we hold on to it we will come out victorious and triumphant. We just know that we know that God will not fail to make a way out for us.

“Your confidence means everything to you and you must fight to keep hold of it as it will never let you down.”

“ It is your deposit of strength from the Holy Spirit that ensures you will come through no matter what happens.”

It is what Paul used on the ship in Acts.27 that meant he knew he would be saved and all the people on the ship with him would be freed. It is what Peter knew that meant he could sleep in Prison on the night before his trial for execution the next day by Herod and he was gloriously delivered.

Can you imagine the fear he felt as he lay there chained to officers because they knew God had done some saving of His people in prison before so ensured he was completely bound. This was to make sure any attempt to be freed would be felt and recognized so it could be promptly stopped.

However God still broke right through and still delivered Peter. Then brought him out alive, well and strengthened as he went on to fulfill the plan of God for his life.

The Holy Spirit wants you to know today that it is your turn to come out, as you fearlessly hold onto your confidence in the Lord’s ability to deliver. You will come out unharmed with a testimony of triumph and such significance that all will marvel. Then say this is the hand of the Most High working on your behalf and we have to admit that a notable miracle has been done on your behalf.

So lay hold of these words of truth and let the grace released in them propel you to hold on vehemently to your confidence without wavering. Then go on to experience the mighty hand of the Lord working on your behalf in the name of Jesus. Amen.

The Holy Spirit this morning reminded me of the great value there is in the house of wisdom and why seeking for wisdom over years is the greatest asset we as His people have.

When we seek after wisdom wholeheartedly and begin to find it working in our lives things begin to change dramatically and the investment of time spent begins to pay off because wisdom has the ability to make something out of nothing. Luke.2:52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Now the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom and possesses all the wisdom there is necessary for progress in life and developing a relationship with Him is pivotal in experiencing the productivity of wisdom.

I am reminded of a time when I was seeking passionately after the Spirit of wisdom and I met a couple of guys in church who were interested in the spiritual gifts they possessed and were always talking about the fact that they had the gifts of healing or miracles and could do wonders that made people marvel at them.

The only thing was that they seemed to have no fruit of the Spirit. All boasting and competing whose gift was greater.

They asked me which of the gifts of the Spirit I had and I said none but that I was building a relationship with the Holy Spirit who owned and possessed all the gifts.

I was content to rest on knowing Him because if I had the giver of the gifts then I could experience all that He had rather than a gift which only dealt with one facet of life. I figured that I would be at a disadvantage if I had a singular gift. So what would I do when I had an issue outside my gift.

“Well that proved to be the most valuable advice the Holy Spirit gave me to answer them because in reality to have a gift is one thing. However, to have a relationship with the Owner of all gifts is far greater because He makes available to you whichever gift you need when it is necessary for the appropriate situation.

”It was as if satan was using every available believer/leader to accuse me on my walk with the Lord and disqualify me from the way the Holy Spirit was teaching me the practical principles of life for my future in the Kingdom.

These truths have proved invaluable to me as I navigated through much church hostility and persecution. The lessons I learned have become spiritual equipment for aiding young believers in their journey with the Lord and keeping them on the right path.

In Proverbs.21:20 we read these words In wisdom’s house you’ll find delightful treasures and the oil of the Holy Spirit. But the stupid squander what they’ve been given. The Holy Spirit reminded me that wisdom is a house which means it is far bigger than a singular event and because it has many rooms, there is a vast amount that puts it all together.

For that reason you will therefore find in it many delightful treasures all around. I have learnt by reason of experience there is much more available that is necessary which you will discover as you find wisdom in the various rooms.

“ Wisdom is not a singular event though it can solve individual events but I can assure you that you will need wisdom again so don’t rest on the magnitude of one event wisdom solved for you as your mark of grandeur.”

When you seek after wisdom who Jesus happens to be. 1 Corinthians.1:30. You will come to discover that you will be filled with so much treasure that solves life issues and quandaries, which also provides ways out of the most dangerous and perilous situations.

“Secondly you will find that in the house of wisdom there is the oil of the Holy Spirit which speaks of the anointing which removes burdens and destroys yokes, overcomes obstacles, always triumphs and has barrier breaking capacity and an earth shaking magnitude at your disposal to deal with anything that would rise up against you in judgment.”

This is the reason for a continuous pursuit of wisdom so you go on to possess the house of wisdom as opposed to just a word of wisdom which solves an immediate situation but has no answers for tomorrow’s troubles when they come and believe me they will come. Job.14:1 “Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble.

“Your priority is to build the house of wisdom for your life not your name or reputation because those will fade but wisdom will live over the grave of every human being because wisdom will never die as it is resurrection and life.”

I believe that from hearing these truths you will see how much of an investment giving time to building and seeking wisdom is. You will see just how lasting the results of wisdom are. Then you will make it the priority of your life and seek for the grace the Holy Spirit will make available for you to have the house of wisdom built into you.

This will make you become a dispenser of the nature and character of God in your generation, which will leave a legacy of God for your life that will always be speaking of your union with the Lord in Jesus. Amen.

The Holy Spirit spoke of spiritual food for today: things we must of necessity look at daily. So we will firstly look at what are some obstacles to answered prayer? The primary reason is not communing with the Holy Spirit.

Let’s look at the biblical evidence to support this statement. In John.6:63 Jesus says these words: It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

This is a clear foundation for any activity in God. Nothing birthed from our flesh no matter how well intentioned or motivated can produce spiritual results. What Jesus speaks is what brings life.

Remember Jesus never said anything until after He returned in the power of the Spirit after a 40 day fast where He was tempted. Luke.4:14 & 15 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

Let us look at the Acts of the Apostles.4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: Acts.6:3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; This is the pattern in the new Covenant with anyone who did God. The Holy Spirit has the preeminence.

Galatians.6:8 reads these words: For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

This is infallible proof that Prayer begins in the Spirit and must be reaped in the Spirit. So it is more important to find out the purpose of the Spirit before beginning to pray from your own initiative. I recall a senior Minister of a Pentecostal division of a multiple Church body.

He said he took on a fast for sixty days on water only because he wanted to beat the 40 day record of Moses and Jesus. He did not have any plan for the fast but to beat the record.

He went to say that after he reached the sixty day mark the Holy Spirit spoke to him and asked him now that you have overtaken Moses and Jesus of what importance or significance has that made to anything and what have you accomplished.

He says he was so ashamed of himself and how he had wasted time doing nothing as now it was futile and he was being ridiculed by the Lord because he was in the flesh trying to accomplish a lust that was worth nothing.

He was sharing this with ministers the importance of working with the Holy Spirit before commencing on anything no matter how spiritual it looks.

He was using this example of nothingness in his life to warn young ministers to spend more time seeking the will of the Holy Spirit before embarking on their plans. He did say that his congregation were very impressed by his feat but the Lord was not impressed. He gained nothing spiritual but got praise from men.

Let us look at the prayer life of Jesus. Everything He did was in the Spirit hence He always had God results. Jesus said the flesh profits nothing. So any transaction in the flesh will only bring losses. So today before you start blotting out prayer ask the Holy Spirit what you are missing and what you should really be praying about.

One word from the Holy Spirit is what you need today to position yourself for the answer of triumph and how to reap it. It will revolutionize your life and answers to prayer will become a daily reality in your life in Jesus name. Amen.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit this morning I was reminded of the reality of what it takes in life to see the cycle of the Lord come through to reality in our lives. We need to have all the necessary ingredients working together to see the will of God manifested in our lives.

We must be willing to work with the Holy Spirit to guide us through the process and show us where we need to make adjustments and realignments that are necessary to bring us through. Romans.8:26-28. The same Lord who said we need to trust Him said we also need patience and endurance so that after we have done His will we will inherit the promise.

Patience is patience which means we will have to wait some things out and have an attitude of gratitude while we wait otherwise patience cannot be worked out in us. We need patience to have its perfect work in us so we are complete lacking nothing.James.1:4.

Jesus takes time in Mark.4:3-34 to share a whole discourse with His disciples and the other people about the message of the Kingdom and how it actually operates. He first tells it in a parable which is likely most will not understand and will forget or lose sight of by the end of the day.

Then He points out very clearly in verse 9 And He said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” This statement means that not all who heard what Jesus said heard Him and He spoke of the inner ear pointing to the fact that the inner ear is what means you can track with God and have understanding in the things of God.

You will then see that once Jesus makes that statement only those who follow Him will be able to move forward on it because they will have the opportunity to ask further questions about the meaning of what Jesus was saying verse 10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.

If you watch closely what happened you will see that when Jesus starts talking specifics. A clarity of the facts starts emerging and we see a process which is not available if you just heard the parable and moved on.

“The ability to ask the relevant questions for an explanation of the Parable is what made available the truth of the operation of the Kingdom which we can live by once we understand it.”

There are privileges we as followers of Jesus have and Jesus begins by outlining these facts in verse 11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12 so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them.’ ”

Now I came to learn this lesson as I spent time seeking to understand from the Holy Spirit what scripture was speaking to me and if I had a right to partake of it. I wanted to know what would qualify me to partake of it. I began to see that not all the words Jesus spoke were for everybody and I realized that qualifications were always stipulated as to who could partake.

I also began to see who could not partake of what Jesus said and I determined I would do what was necessary to qualify for the benefit of what Jesus offered because it brought life.

I remember spending hours going over the introduction to the letters of Paul, John, Peter, James, Jude and the Holy Spirit pointing out to me who qualified for what and who they were addressing.

An example would be the Church in Corinth could not walk as the church in Ephesus and use the whole armor of God to go against the schemes of the devil and overcome them because they were carnal (enmity with God) which means they worked in collaboration with satan so Paul could not talk to them about fighting and overcoming the devil and said so.

Recognize this fact you cannot fight the person who you side with. I cannot speak to you about the deep things of the Spirit because you are babies and it would destroy you because it is meat solid food.

Back to Mark.4:9 to the disciple it has been given the grace to know the things pertaining to the Kingdom, but the knowledge must be applied to seek the Lord to know. As we see here Jesus gave the taster and cliff hanger He who has an ear to hear let him hear.

“ I realized that to say you have the ear to hear is one thing, but to apply the ear and hear is completely different, because that process of application to hear means you get the knowledge from the Holy Spirit. Get to own it and can then use it by applying it to various life situations, and see it work each time for your benefit.”

“ It is a requirement for the hearer to make sure he knows what he hears and understands it. Then applies it for his benefit which Jesus goes on to insist.” Verse.24 Take heed what you hear because how you hear will determine your final result.

The full concept concerning the Kingdom is that there is a process and it will involve seasons and you will need to build various temperaments in order to come out on top. These are the Character traits of the Lord which the Holy Spirit will grace you to walk in to achieve the God intended goal and inheritance for your individual life. Don’t grow weary in well doing for in due season you will reap if you do not faint. Galatians.6:9.

“That means if you faint you lose out and if you grow weary in doing good it impedes you.”

We have a part to play in the operation of the Kingdom and we need to take our responsibility seriously and work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Take all the lessons the Holy Spirit teaches you seriously because you will need them to transition into every blessing the Lord has for you. I have learnt by experience that the more you yield to the Holy Spirit the greater and easier your path will become to navigate.

The Holy Spirit will always be available to bring to your remembrance all the things the Lord has taught you so keep a repentant heart available so when you miss it you. It is easy to quickly make the adjustment and come back to the Lord in repentance and turn. Then find deliverance which only comes through the forgiveness of sins which Jesus points out in verse12 that means you will gain the Kingdom back if you can turn.

I have noted that whenever a person could not find a place for repentance in the bible that life is lost and that is why we must guard against hard heartedness and stubbornness because they will always rob you of God’s best in your life.

I have given you much to chew on and will leave it here and ask that the Holy Spirit grant you grace to know and understand the operation of the Kingdom from these words. May He provide you an avenue of escape from any peculiar situation that has baffled you and kept you rerunning negative patterns that are almost causing you to quit.

Then grant you the way out supernaturally that will startle you and give you a new story of victory and triumph from the Lord that builds your confidence in the ability of your Father in Jesus name. Amen.

Take time to meditate on Mark.4 for what further insight the Holy Spirit will give you about the Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit wants you to consider the commandments of the Lord for your life and ask yourself why do I feel they are burdensome. We don’t consider things the right way we should and most times make rash decisions that only hurt us and rob us of the very best .

The Holy Spirit wants me to lay out some fundamental laws of the Covenant for you to look at from the right perspective and then decide why we believe them to be burdensome.1 John.5:3.

I found the Holy Spirit saying to me to look at everything the Lord asks us to do, and who does it benefit? I realized instantly that each requirement the Lord requested was for my benefit not God’s. Let us look at some of the things the Lord asks us to do. It is always good to test the promises the Lord makes and ensure we understand them so we get the maximum benefits.

Luke.6:38 First of all Give and it will be given unto you in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give unto you. Look at the promise of God to the giver. This principle only works when we give.

The reaction to our giving is that resources will come back to you in many more directions than you gave. Jesus only said give and there will be more given back to you in good measure not evil measure, pressed down so more can be added in for you and shaken together to level out more for you and running over, overflowing your boundaries or scope . What is burdensome about receiving more than you gave?

Let’s look at prayer Luke.11:10 Jesus said ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you. What burden is it to you to get more than you request, and to find greater than you sought for, and find treasure. When you knock a greater door into much more is open unto you which increases you and broadens your horizon. You have much more access to greater opportunities. How is that burdensome?

Let’s look at fasting, giving up a meal so God can benefit ? No, the benefits of fasting are clearly pointed out in Isaiah.58:8-9 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

9.Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ You will see clearly the path to follow and your healing will spring forth speedily and your righteousness will precede you and God’s glory shall be your rear guard plus you will loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?

This speaks of personal benefit to you and also to others whose lives you are in position to free so what is burdensome about that. Why should I have to give up a meal so this evil will happen to me and God benefits at my expense? Certainly not? It is so that we humans have maximum benefits because God wants us to have the best of everything.

This is the reason why He gave Jesus so we could reign in life as kings and change society to be a haven of rest living out heaven on earth. More than enough for everybody and much to spare.

Finally how about love one another and thus fulfill the law of Christ and there will be continuous fighting? No things will work out perfectly because no one does what will hurt the other, but we all do for the benefit of each other and cover each other so nothing is missing. So what is so burdensome about living that way free of wars and continuous conflict. Building on the good and creating an environment for faith to flourish and the love of God being shed abroad through our lives.

Today I encourage you to look at these truths you have heard and then allow the grace in these words the Holy Spirit provides to change the lies and deception satan has sowed to make you feel serving God is not worthy. However it only robs you of the fun and enjoyment service to God brings.

What greater enjoyment than seeing people free to live again. Step back into doing righteousness and walking in the fear of the Lord and see all the benefits I have shared with you become the reality in your lives and impact all that you do.

Your life should reflect in society the might of God and manifest days of heaven here on earth so that Jesus is glorified through your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember to use these words as a go to when you feel discouraged and distressed on the way things are going and looking. Embrace these words and get back on the track of truth to only believe again.

Then all things will become possible to you as you agree with God and His ways as you keep doing truth which will not fail to deliver on your behalf. God will not fail to come through for you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

What do you do when you seem to make so many mistakes and find you are unable to get it right? The feeling of letting the Lord down again by falling for the same snare over and over again. Well the Holy Spirit gave me an answer from the word for you to focus on which should change your viewpoint completely and give you a new story in life of victory and triumph. Romans.8:28.

This answer began to form in my heart when the Holy Spirit asked me to study the different Apostles and what characterized each of their individual lives. I went through the gospels, the Acts and the epistles which relay all the information on each apostle’s life. I studied through each of them and found some astounding things that you won’t see unless you look in the direction the Holy Spirit guides you.

We will look today at John and see how he found grace in the sight of Jesus to escape judgment pronounced by Jesus and come out smelling like a rose without spot or blemish. Mark.10:25-30. He was completely exonerated of his past mistake that could easily have cost him his destiny which his brother suffered.

First of all there are some things we never ought to ask of Jesus, but I am thankful that even when we ask for nonsense He still gives us an opportunity to come out of the mess. Acts.12:1-3.

The brothers James and John came to Jesus and said bid us sit at your right hand in your glory in your Kingdom. They wanted the preeminent position and asked for it. Jesus had always taught the way to be greatest in the Kingdom was through service to Him, being as a child.

Jesus never taught or insinuated positions of grandeur to His followers as in the world through throwing around your position as a weapon. Jesus always taught them to be as a child desiring more of the Father, not the greatest position by which to rule or control people.

However on this occasion they proceeded to ask this question and Jesus answered it for them by saying it is not in my power to decide that. Jesus informed them that it was a prerogative of the Father which had been allocated to others so the position was not available.

However they were moved by their desire and pushed for it regardless of the question mark about its availability. Jesus again proceeds to ask them another question to nudge them to rethink the matter but they seemed oblivious to the cost this situation would have on them.

“This is always the way things end up when we want our own way rather than listening to the voice of correction which is seeking to help us escape the dire consequences of our error.”

My prayer for us is Lord Help us not to miss the way out for us by being stubborn and hard hearted. Jesus said to them, “Are you able to drink the cup which I will drink?” I think they thought how grand His cup was and a privilege they were being offered to drink from His cup and went on to answer that they were able. Jesus was left with no option and said to them you will drink the cup but will still not get the position at my right hand and the matter ended there it seemed.

I have come to realize that when Jesus speaks a word to you it does happen just as when he said to Peter in John.13:37 & 38 tonight before the cock crows you will deny me three times. It looked impossible but Jesus said it so expect it to happen as He spoke which it did.

Now we are told that John was present at the cross and witnessed the whole proceedings John.19:25-37 and heard the things Jesus spoke during His passion and the Holy Spirit pointed out to me that he heard Jesus say Father forgive them for they know not what they do. John obviously remembered all Jesus spoke about forgiveness and confession of sin.

He got to see Jesus as the lamb of God take away our sin and become the atonement for our souls and I noticed from that time on in scripture he never vied for the preeminent position in the kingdom as he did before.

He from that point on just wanted to humbly serve and support Peter and the other disciples in doing the will of Jesus. The spirit of competing left him and humble service became his goal. That is the place we should seek to walk in before the Lord.

Well years on Herod has a hankering to kill, murder and takes off the head of James without notice and it happens though the word says no weapon formed against us will prosper and every tongue that rises against us we should condemn for this is our heritage as servants of the Lord. Isaiah.54:17.

Well James had told the Master he could drink the cup of suffering His Master did and now that weapon could prosper because he had permitted it. He had not repented and come out of agreement in that situation.

So his life was on the warrant for untimely death. Herod went on to go after Peter but it did not succeed but Herod ended up dying not Peter. This was because Peter had not agreed to drink the cup of death so Herod could not just take out Peter prematurely.

The Holy Spirit pointed out to me that John did not have the same result because he repented of that pride as he saw the price Jesus paid for his sin and realized no one but Jesus could pay it and drink that cup.

It is clear the Holy Spirit pointed out to me in 1 John.1:8-10 John understood the power of repentance and the forgiveness of sins and the cleansing it brought from unrighteousness, which indicates you can come back to righteousness.

You can always come back to a place of authority and standing with the Lord which John went on to experience and outlived all the other Apostles. The Lord used his revelation to conclude the bible with a fresh revelation of Jesus in glory on the Isle of Patmos.

The Holy Spirit showed me through this situation with John that we humans do things that are stirred by satan and make requests that can kill us on presumption of not looking at the future results of such actions or thoughts which can kill us and ruin our lives.

However the Lord is there if we can repent, see our wrong and make the necessary change. Then find ourselves back on the path of Life He intended for us. This is because Jesus came to save us from ourselves and rescue us from our perverted hearts that love deception and lies which satan readily supplies us as bait which we unfortunately run to.

I pray today as you have received these words you will receive the grace within them to make change and find back life. You will then live your life going forward on these truths and never forget them or let them go as they are your way to life. Always lay hold of repentance when you miss the mark and invite Jesus to mediate on your behalf.

This is because as John pointed out we will sin unknowingly by default because our hearts are prone to deception. We need to be smart enough to come to Jesus the way out from sin who will save us and free us of the death cycle.

In 1John John does not say we should be continually sinning as a practice as this indicates we are of the devil. However when we do sin, or err which we will do we should repent quickly. Receive forgiveness and cleansing from all unrighteousness.

James was not as Judas who never came back to serve Jesus, He was a faithful man but an error of pride cost him his destiny because he did not go on to correct that mistake. These lessons are written to help us navigate life free of these types of errors.

We need to be more open to the correction of the Holy Spirit and be quick to turn and change course when we miss it. This is so we don’t lose out because of our foolish pride and refusal to drop it and go on to recover life in Jesus.

May you walk humbly before your God as John went on to do and have a life loaded with all God has for you happening for you daily and you go on to fulfill completely His assignment for your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit says why are you looking to men as your support and help when you have Him as your more than enough help in every situation. To rely on man is a curse and to trust the arm of flesh is like relying on the wind that would blow you away. Jeremiah.17:5-8 The Holy Spirit is our help in times of trouble and times of success. For this reason we need to remember what our strength and strong tower of refuge is. Psalm.46:1-3

The Lord will give you men to support you and be an encouragement to carry out the work you are called to do but they are not your support and refuge. They must never become your place of succour and help in times of need . The Holy Spirit must become your closest and most trusted friend and support in life and your go to place for relief and answers. Certainly this area will be tested in your life by the Lord to know your heart.Genesis.23:12.

The Lord alone wants to be the One to whom you look to for refuge and support, not men. The Holy Spirit today reminded me of David when he was on a mission in 1 Samuel.30:6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

Now David came home to an invasion of all they had in Ziklag and all they had was gone. In this particular encounter all the men who were a support and help to David thought of killing him. However David had to remember that his trust was not in the men he had as an army, but in the Lord who had called him. As David proceeded to encourage himself in the Lord his God.

The Lord he trusted then gave him the way out of that dilemma as he inquired of the Lord. This plan involved the recovery of all that was robbed from them and much spoil in addition. The Lord always turns adversity against us to times of absolute triumph. 2 Chronicles.20:25-30.

It is not that God did not want David to have the support of those men who God had sent to help him, but the Lord wanted David not to rely on the men but on the God who had called him to be the King.

The Lord’s desire was for David to depend solely on Him and not on the support of the men. It is very often a very fine line between trusting what God gives us to help us win and trusting God Himself to be our go to in all situations.

This is because when we see men we feel we have the help ready and available but the Lord we do not see and have to reach out by faith to seek Him and get an answer through prayer. That is more difficult because we have to depend on our faith, which is not seen naturally. However, our faith is what is necessary if we are to remain on top of things in life as this keeps us connected to God. Hebrews.11:6.

I told my closest friend in a season of great physical attack and an enemy barrage/siege that seeking God to find out about a healing and His solution in that situation is far better than consulting a doctor for a diagnosis because the doctor on his finest day, even a Christian doctor. The doctor can be moved by the enemy and the complex symptoms then make mistakes because he is influenced by what he sees.

However the Lord would give her an answer of peace and the friend heeded that counsel and did not consult a doctor. Rather she heeded the word, trusted the Lord and today is alive and well because the Lord brought her out of what no human doctor could have had a solution for.

Today she now has a story of deliverance of the ability of the Holy Spirit to deliver from death and uses it to see others freed for enemy attacks.

What I am sharing with you today by the Holy Spirit is the true advantage we have in the Lord as our go to in time of need. Most definitely the Lord wants our seeking Him for the answer to be our primary source of help.

You will notice that Jesus Himself from the Gospels regardless of the wonderful disciples He picked by the Holy Spirit all left Him at His most vulnerable time. However Jesus still said my Father is with me and will see me through. The Father went on to raise Him from the dead.

Jesus in His hour of trial could not rely on His closest three disciples to watch Him pray in the garden of Gethsemane but they fell asleep. However just watch how the Holy Spirit gave Him strength to carry through to victory and triumph. This is where the Lord wants us to live in complete reliance on the Holy Spirit for all things.

Even the Apostle Paul faced that situation when he spoke that in his first defence all men forsook him but the Lord stood by him and delivered him from his enemies 2 Timothy.4:16-18. This is the greatest strength we will ever have to be able to go to God ourselves and have Him bring us through by the power of the Holy Spirit.

May you today through the grace imparted through these words find the ability to look to the Lord and rely on the Holy Spirit as your first go to in every situation in life. Let Him in every incident in life be your answer so you don’t have to lose relationships in order to learn this reality in life. The Lord wants us to love Him with all our hearts, souls and bodies for this is the first commandment.

When you look at that instruction there is no room for our desires in our hearts for anything that God does not want,so we must be willing to give Him our all to have His all. I recall when the Holy Spirit spoke this to me and told me to surrender all the desires I had as a child which satan was now wanting to fulfill in my life to rob me of my God reward.

I asked forgiveness of the Lord for wanting those things and the Lord caused me to be delivered from things in that season that could have ruined my progression in the things of the Holy Spirit and robbed me of much of my rewards for walking righteously.

Jesus gave His all to accomplish the will of the Father and the Father gave His all to Jesus to rule with Him in the position of Glory eternally. What an honor that we have been granted the privilege to share in that position of glory if we give Him all our hearts in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today I want to share with you something the Holy Spirit showed me many years ago about prayer and walking in the Spirit from Acts.21:8-11. The moving of the Holy Spirit is caught not taught. In other words it is practically worked out, not theoretical. It will really change things in your life including the way you process information.

You will go on to experience being taught things we as followers of Jesus must cherish and develop in order to have longevity in our Christian walk.

Now let me first of all introduce you to Philip the deacon from Acts.6:5. He comes into the picture when a crisis arises and the Apostles decide they cannot afford to leave their prayer time to solve food issues. Philip is selected as part of the team of seven men appointed to take care of this problem that has arisen.

It is certainly a very good thing to look at the requirements the Apostles give to choose who is fit for this task.Acts.6:3. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; 4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

This criteria the apostles demanded became a very salient lesson to me when I realized that the Apostles did not ask for all those who had expertise in catering and food production to appoint them, because they would be conversant with dealing with these kinds of matters and issues with food and people.

They wanted men trained in the Holy Spirit to use Godly wisdom and understanding to stop this whole issue which was seeking to invade the unity in the Holy Spirit the body of believers was experiencing.

I want us to look primarily at the person of Philip who had no title or position of preeminence in the Church because this often represents most of us who through our relationship with the Holy Spirit get an opportunity when a crisis arises to be called upon for a God solution.

This is why I say it is so important to see the progression in the life of Philip starting here and where the Holy Spirit has him positioned years after because of his commitment to being full of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians.5:18.

You will see no politicking and foul play in the life of Philip but a continuous communion and fellowship with the Holy Spirit which results in him being selected for solving God issues and bringing the miraculous into play in the Kingdom of Jesus. The peace of God always prevails in an environment where the Holy Spirit rules.

Always endeavour to seek to be the candidate chosen by the Holy Spirit for God’s jobs to carry out on the Lord’s behalf. Do whatever you need to do to always be filled and full of the Holy Spirit and no one will ever be able to stop what God has purposed for you to do on earth. Let’s go on and dive further into the working of the Holy Spirit in the life of Philip. This issue of food distribution is solved through the intervention of the Holy Spirit and Philip is a part of that team.

We next find Philip mentioned in Acts.8:4-8 which reads 4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

Philip comes back on the scene after the Kingdom believers are scattered and there are problems and difficulties because no one seems to know what to do after the scattering takes place. However Philip who we now know only operates on the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit launches a Kingdom campaign into Samaria on his own and has phenomenal success as this scripture points out.

We know for a fact that he heard from the Holy Spirit about this mission because in John’s gospel chapter.4:34-38 we read these words from Jesus in Samaria: Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’?

Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not laboured; others have laboured, and you have entered into their labours.”

Philip you would notice was not present at that moment but the same Holy Spirit who spoke through Jesus was and he brought that which Jesus had spoken to Philip to be the vessel used to bring to pass the salvation of souls in Samaria and give Jesus His reward for those wonderful sheep Jesus had said were on the verge of being grafted into the Kingdom.

It is odd that the Apostles though present at the time when Jesus spoke had made no plans to secure Samaria though Jesus had clearly spoken of the imminence of the harvest of Samaria.

Well the Holy Spirit was going to use Philip because he was ready and willing to follow the Holy Spirit wherever He guided him to go and reap the harvest for the Kingdom. This is the willingness the Holy Spirit wants us to have so He can accomplish God’s plans speedily through our prompt obedience.

Just take a few moments to selah on this reality and ask the Lord how many times you have been slow to take the action the Holy Spirit required of you to take harvests for the Kingdom. Repent and turn from that period of disobedience and commit your heart to following fully every instruction the Holy Spirit gives you so you can bring Jesus the harvests due Him of men turning to serve Him.

You will say this is so impressive how Philip walks with the Holy Spirit but there is more to this ability he walks in which I am going to share. Philip also because He is focused on being full of the Holy Spirit is also consistently being emptied of self.

Therefore for that reason he is not so enamoured by the results in Samaria that he decides to start his Church there and milk all the attention and position of notoriety he receives. To then pursue building up his reputation as a great Evangelist who holds large crusades.

What we see is Philip under the guidance of the Holy Spirit handing over the reins of this campaign to the Apostles who come to see how greatly the Lord has moved and fulfilled what Jesus had spoken to them in John.4. Philip then goes instantly again on the leading of the Holy Spirit to a desert area with no clear indication of what this new mission would entail. Acts.8:26-30

Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is ]desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”

30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?

You will notice that once Philip moves on the word to go towards the desert the Mission becomes clearer and Philip has a conversation with the Ethiopian eunuch in his carriage as he is returning to Ethiopia have taken this time to seek the Lord and his answer was with Philip which was about to happen.

My dearest brethren let us be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and His moving so we are ever present to bring God’s answer on time to peoples prayers. Philip was so much on time that as the Eunuch asked the question as he read the scripture from Isaiah, Philip was available to give him the answer from the Lord instantly. Just imagine what that did for the Eunuch trust in the Lord he had chosen to follow.

Philip then baptized him and he returns to Ethiopia in the joy of the Holy Spirit with a new relationship with the Lord which could now grow and bring forth revival into Africa and spread the Kingdom into all the world as Jesus had declared would happen. Just take some time and meditate on Acts.8:31-39.

You will be gloriously changed as you ask the Holy Spirit to work that level of spiritual accuracy in your life and make you a candidate for the miraculous of the Holy Spirit being manifested through you as it was in Philip’s life.

This reality of walking in the Holy Spirit’s glory zone comes from continuous communion time and conversation with the Holy Spirit about Jesus’s program and plan for each day in the Kingdom process. We always want to make sure we are in step with the Holy Spirit and not lagging behind sorting out our unwillingness to just trust and obey His leading and guidance.

This study on the Holy Spirit in the life of Philip continues on as the Ethiopian Eunuch comes out of the water filled with joy. Philip is then transported to his next mission ground by the Holy Spirit and we find him again accomplishing some ministry work for Jesus in another area. Acts.8:39 & 40.

I asked the Holy Spirit when He revealed this truth to me of Philip’s surrender to Him and ability to walk the paths of the Lord that I would be granted grace to experience this level of union with the Holy Spirit and always be found on the cutting edge of anything the Lord is doing. I thank the Lord that He has granted me this grace, to experience the working of the Holy Spirit.

However no matter what I have received and experienced, I press on further for a deeper revelation of the knowledge of God and more miraculous manifestations of the Holy Spirit. This is to make men marvel at the absolute Might, Power and supremacy of the Person of Jesus and turn from evil to serve Him.

I can now conclude this discourse focusing on the life of Philip as recorded in Acts.21:8-11 where we met him again years on and he is still in close communion with the Holy Spirit and now has his four virgin daughters who prophesied all day and kept full of the Holy Spirit. Agabus the Prophet loved visiting his home because the Presence of the Lord saturated that home. Where people honor the Holy Spirit there is always a greater measure of Power released.

Philip trained his daughters to love communion with the Holy Spirit and the result is the prophecies of the Lord manifesting daily in that home. Philip’s home had more of the Holy Spirit working there than the Church which started in Jerusalem which had become a monument.

The whole interest of that family was God totally centred and God surely blessed and multiplied out His abundant goodness in their lives. As the Holy Spirit revealed this scripture to me it became so clear why Philip had such precise direction in the Holy Spirit because his daughters and himself spent all day seeking the will of the Lord and executed obedience promptly so there were no gaps or laps in their results due to human failure.

This is the place I believe the Holy Spirit wants us walking over years without any drop in our spiritual intensity so the Kingdom of Jesus is not hindered from manifesting on earth.

I pray today that as you have become privy to this important revelation of the progression in the Holy Spirit you will wholeheartedly embrace the grace supplied through these words and embrace the necessary changes you will need to make, to be in this position spiritually to experience these kinds of astounding miracles and God harvests in such unique ways that startle Nations. Thus bringing God’s ancient plans into reality in the eyes of men faithfully and truly.

Start by daily giving the Holy Spirit more time and watch how your life will be promoted in the realm of the Spirit which will manifest in signs, wonders and miracles to glorify the name of Jesus. Position yourself to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit who will guide you into all truth.

Then He will begin to reveal to you events of the future and how to navigate difficulties so you are never caught in the schemes satan raises against you. You will begin to see all enemy attacks melt like wax at the Presence of the Lord exuding from your union with the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit today I ask you in Jesus name to create a new walk in the life of those who choose to follow this path of communion with you and cause them to experience the true reality of all Jesus wants for their lives to manifest.

Give them a new sense of accomplishment as you guide and lead them to accomplish things that would take fifty years to manifest to be done in weeks so they come into the reality of just how great the resurrected Jesus really is and how He sees them as His co-heirs of all things. Grant this prayer I declare in Jesus name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit wants me this morning to share with you where the true source of power that we need to drink from in order for the word to be made manifest in our lives can be found. I realized quickly that once you know the source from where you can go and drink from you have the advantage. This is because you now have constant access to go there with freedom and partake of as much supply as you want and be filled with that refreshing water of life.

In John.7:37-39 we read these words : On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus points out a truth and invites us to come drink of the water He has available for us which He goes on to point out will become in our hearts rivers of living water that flow out from us.

It is clear from this statement that there is a source of water from which we as followers of Jesus can drink from when we are thirsty which becomes rivers of water in us. This statement we are told He spoke about the Holy Spirit whom those who believed would receive.

This indicates that as Jesus spoke out this revelation it was not completed as yet and would be revealed when the Holy Spirit is revealed and manifested on earth. This happened on the day of Pentecost. Acts.2:1-4.

Now in the book of Revelation which reveals to us who Jesus is now and His position in glory we are told these words in Revelation.4:6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. There is a water of life before the throne of God from which we drink which proceeds directly from the Lord.

We are permitted to drink freely from it and should ensure we are full of this water of life. This is the water of the Holy Spirit which we will now see that each time Jesus speaks from Heaven is what His voice is clothed in and reference is made to that in the book of revelation.

In Revelation.1:15b His voice was the sound of many waters;. Revelation.19:5 & 6 Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns.

Revelation.22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation.22:17 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Now this is no coincidence that every time the voice of Jesus speaks from heaven it is as the sound of many waters loaded with the Holy Spirit. This reality of the Spirit is extremely powerful and reaches into everything and since this water proceeds from the throne of God and we have access to it, we also need to be full of that heavenly water in order to effect things on earth through the Holy Spirit.

I know for myself that once I was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues a new river of the water of life began following through me and this has never ceased as I continually come to the water and drink of the wisdom, knowledge, counsel and understanding that flows from the throne of God for my benefit and that of so many other Nations and Peoples.

When this revelation first came to me it opened my eyes to the reality of heaven and the words of Jesus which are truth and can be verified by us as we see that reality of heaven through the revelation the Lord gave John. This means we are so much better positioned in our beliefs and our confidence soars which means greater results in our lives and more expansion of the Kingdom.

When I realized that speaking in tongues was words flowing directly from the Throne room of God Most High to me it caused my value for this gift of life to grow. I became more determined to pursue the Lord more diligently and did more daily speaking in tongues as it meant I could get more from the Spirit by thirsting more and drinking more.

I was also more energized to ask the Holy Spirit to interpret to me what I was speaking out. This enabled me to fully benefit from what I prayed out by the unction of the Holy Spirit.

The day I was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, I also got the interpretation of the tongues and prophesied all in the same package and understood that the words I received were not proceeding from me but coming from God to me. Hence the Apostle Paul wrote that he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not to man, but to God and declares the mysteries of God which our natural self needs to understand to lay hold of.

In John.12:28-30 we witness this supernatural event of Jesus speaking with the Father: Father, glorify Your name. ”Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” 29 Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”

30 Jesus answered and said, “This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake.

As you can see from this discourse of Jesus God’s voice was clear to Jesus but some people heard it as thunder and others said an angel spoke to Him but they all did not get what was actually said and needed the interpretation of God’s word because it was spoken for their benefit but they missed it. This is why we need to interpret the tongues of the Holy Spirit because they are a mystery to our natural mind that needs to be unveiled to us.

We need to understand God’s words in our language to enable us to use them, hence an interpretation, which is the reason for this gift of the Holy Spirit to interpret tongues in 1 Corinthians.12:10. Which is to enable us to understand what is proceeding from the Father for our benefit and be able to use it to bring the plan of God to reality on the earth.

I have found by reason of experience that the Holy Spirit provides us with everything we need to know to accomplish the will of God and cause us to triumph in every situation in life.

My heart’s desire for you today is that you learn to walk in all the wisdom, understanding, knowledge and counsel of God which is in the Holy Spirit to enable us to have complete victory and triumph in every situation in life. We are commanded to share and partake in the complete victory Jesus bought and paid for us on cross.

Then through His resurrection to Ascension glory where He sits now in All authority over heaven and earth. To walk in a lack of knowledge of God when the Holy Spirit has so much available for us is an injustice to the price Jesus paid to make it available for our use.

I pray today that as this revelation arises in you, you will use the grace supplied through it to walk in a higher level of insight and triumph over the enemy in every situation so the Lord gets the glory in all things concerning your life.

Therefore make it a priority to speak in tongues as much as you can and drink in the water of the Holy Spirit as He supplies the words which will never run dry.

Then ask Him for interpretation or understanding of what that prayer has done on your behalf or, what insight you have received necessary for you to know exactly how to navigate any situation or, who the Lord wants you to help, aid or assist to come out of a dire situation. The List is endless of what the Holy Spirit is saying at any given time. So press into Him for more.

The Holy Spirit will let you know as you press into getting to understand His ways and patterns for success and a whole supply from rivers of life giving water will be at your disposal to drink from and make available to others in Jesus’ name by your life. Amen.

The Holy Spirit says today consider how much time you are putting into observing what He is saying and doing in your life versus walking in what you believe you know?

It is very easy to fall into a routine of just doing for God because that is what you have been trained to do rather than submitting and yielding to the Holy Spirit to do what He is leading and guiding you to do.

In Joshua.1:1-7 the Lord points out to Joshua all the promises of what will be for Joshua as he takes up the mantle to lead the people after the death of Moses.

They are very impressive, however in verse 8 the Lord points out to Joshua a clear condition on which all the promises will rest which Joshua will need to follow and abide by if he is to experience and enjoy all the blessings the Lord pointed out in verses 1-7 of Joshua.

Today the Holy Spirit wants to show again and bring to your remembrance what your priorities ought to be and how much more attention you need to be putting to the things that matter most rather than the things you believe you need to be doing.

So let’s look at Joshua.1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Now the first commandment here is that the book of the law which in our lives today is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which makes us free from the law of sin and death.Romans.8:2.This law of the Spirit of life not departing from our mouths, not just our thoughts and our reading over daily.

How much of what Jesus is saying are we echoing out with our mouths in our daily lives about who we are in Him day and night. We need to be doing what the redeemed of the Lord do, that is to continually say so Psalm.107:2.

Secondly, following our saying, confession which is a part of meditating anyway which we should be doing day and night because our saying with our mouths is our confession which brings our deliverance or salvation.

It does not matter how much you believe the Lord in your heart if you do not verbalize that belief with a confession you will remain bound. Romans.10:10 says: For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation..

This confession with your mouth empowers you to observe what the Lord is saying to you through the Holy Spirit in order for you to carry out His instructions. It is after this process that your way will become prosperous and you will begin to find good success in life. You will observe the path in the Spirit to take not the obvious one in the natural, and believe me there is a huge difference.

We cannot jump the process and expect good success to be our reward. Joshua himself many years before this time was a man of faith and when sent on the mission to spy out the land said let us go up at once and take it.

He had faith that sought to take but lacked the voice of the Lord’s leading (the authorship of God leading) and would end up in a ditch because the Lord never guided so it would not be provided.

If this many years on God is commanding him to meditate on His word till he observes to do, what was he going to do those years before to take the land having not taken the time to meditate and know what the Lord was saying. We need to be wise and not foolish in acting out in presumption on what we think God wants rather than waiting till He tells us what He wants done.

As Moses always said I am not moving till the Lord moves then I will follow Him and we will have triumphant results.

I believe the Holy Spirit wants you positioned in a place where you will have good success because you focus on Him and have His direction and guidance in moving forward. As it says of David and David inquired of the Lord what to do and each time the Lord showed him what to do he had good success.

May you today find grace (supernatural God ability) in the Holy Spirit to give time to meditate on the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and observe from the Lord’s perspective what you ought to do.

Then once you have the clarity go forth in the direction of the Holy Spirit rather than your opinion of the situation. Always remember God’s thoughts and ways are much higher than yours and you need to yield to His in order to move forward. Isaiah.55:8 & 9.

May grace be imparted to you today to hold back from premature action. Take time to meditate and observe the moving of the Holy Spirit. As you find the path and course He is leading, guiding you to. Then walk confidently into the triumphant, victorious ventures which will serve as a platform of God results in your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
