A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 22/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, the Lord revisited a foundational truth that was imparted to me many years ago. This is a truth that transformed my walk of faith, unlocked tangible benefits, and produced a consistent manifestation of the Lord’s goodness in my everyday life.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that this truth is meant to become a central governing principle for the followers of Jesus, in establishing a solid foundation upon which all other spiritual understanding is built.

The Lord’s desire is unmistakable, which is that He wants His people to experience everything His Word promises and declares we should have here on earth. Scripture affirms that no good thing does the Lord withhold from those who fear and revere Him. When the truth of the word is established at the centre of one’s spiritual life, it becomes a foundation that cannot collapse because it is built upon the Rock who is Jesus Christ Himself.

The Holy Spirit then addressed a crucial question which constantly arises as to Why do believers often fall short of what God has promised, and how can they be properly positioned to experience daily manifestation of the Lord’s blessings?

The answer He said is found in 1 Peter 1:13–19, where believers are instructed to gird up the loins of their minds, be sober, and rest their hope fully upon the grace that is revealed through Jesus Christ. This call to holiness, sobriety, and obedience is not optional but it is the posture required to access all our divine results.

To gird up the loins of the mind speaks of an intentional preparation to reproduce only what is true, while sobriety refers to operating in one’s clearest spiritual faculties, free from anything that intoxicates judgment or distorts discernment. The Apostle Paul reinforces this truth in Ephesians 6:14, by identifying the word of truth as the essential belt that holds the entire armor of God in place.

Without the mind being girded with truth, error and deception will inevitably be reproduced regardless of our confession or intention. The foundation of the Lord’s kingdom is truth, and the Helper given to us as His followers is the Spirit of Truth, who guides us into all truth.

The Holy Spirit drew a sharp distinction between truth and presumption. Presumption is an action based on human estimation rather than divine instruction. Joshua’s defeat at Ai illustrates this clearly because despite his believing God could not give victory. This was because Joshua had acted on the report of spies rather than on God’s command, resulting in loss of life (Joshua 7).

In contrast, Moses refused to act without God’s presence and directive, even when the situation seemed clear. Moses understood that faith without divine instruction is presumption, and presumption carries a cost.Psalm.19:13.

This highlights how far human reasoning can be from God’s wisdom. Believers must therefore gird their minds to respond only to what the Lord reveals and then rest fully on the grace that accompanies God’s word. Grace is the supernatural enablement to accomplish what God commands. Every instruction from the Holy Spirit carries with it the grace to perform it, and action taken outside of grace no matter how sincere will fail.

The Holy Spirit revealed that even faith alone is insufficient without hope imparted by the Spirit. This pattern is seen in Genesis 1, where creation unfolded only after the Holy Spirit hovered over the darkness, and in the life of Jesus, who began manifesting miracles only after returning in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Himself declared in John 5:30 that He could do nothing outside the Father, and in John 8:26 that He spoke only what He heard from Him. This demonstrates spiritual maturity by speaking and acting only under divine instruction, not emotion or personal judgment.

The Holy Spirit concluded this word by urging you as followers of Jesus to gird yourselves with truth, by yielding to the grace supplied with this word, as you rest fully in the revelation He has provided through this revelation.

As you open your hearts, reject acting in presumption, as David warned in Psalm 19:13, by recognizing that presumptuous sin can gain dominion over your life and disqualify you from your reward. David learned instead to diligently inquire of the Lord continually, and earned the testimony of being a man after God’s own heart.

The Holy Spirit encourages you to seek the Lord diligently to hear His voice, then gird the loins of your mind with the truth, to only act through the grace supplied you to obey fully the voice of the Lord, as this is the pathway to a fruitful, productive, and Spirit-led life of the miraculous abounding as it did with Jesus.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your mind is girded with truth and guarded from presumption and you are released from acting on human estimation and aligned to move only by the divine instruction of the Holy Spirit. I declare that the Spirit of Truth will lead you clearly, and the grace of God will empower you fully to accomplish every God-breathed assignment for your life.

I declare that you will no longer labor in the flesh but will walk in Holy Spirit-led precision, fruitfulness, and freedom. In the name of Jesus presumptuous error loses its dominion over your life, and your prompt obedience opens the door to sustained manifestation of the miraculous in your life.

I decree that you will hear the instruction of the Lord, obey it, and see results that glorify the Lord on a daily basis. May your life always testify that you are led by the Holy Spirit and established as one after the Lord’s own heart, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 23/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

This message marks the beginning of a new, intentional conversation with the Holy Spirit, designed to empower followers of Jesus to walk in step with what the Lord has prepared for this year. It establishes a spiritual framework for living daily attuned to the Holy Spirit’s frequency. This walk is not a casual one because it requires a daily commitment, continual surrender, and obedience to the voice of the Lord.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, my attention was drawn to Proverbs 17:3, which reveals that just as gold and silver are refined by fire, the Lord purifies the human heart through tests and trials. These processes are not punishments but divine refinements, intended to align our hearts with the Lord’s nature and purposes.

This truth is anchored in Matthew 5:8, where Jesus declares, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” The ability to perceive the Lord, recognize His hand, and walk with Him clearly is directly connected to the condition of our hearts. Purity of heart is therefore essential for spiritual sight and alignment.

The Holy Spirit then revealed how He evaluates our actions and decisions and it is not merely by what we do, but by the source from which we choose to act. When a believer responds according to the flesh, they are not just operating neutrally, in reality they are aligning with the devil’s system. Though this truth may sound confronting, it reflects spiritual reality rather than sentiment.

Scripture exposes the condition of the unredeemed human heart in Jeremiah 17:9–10, describing it as deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, and declaring that the Lord searches the heart and tests the mind to reward each person according to the fruit of their actions. When we obey the dictates of the flesh, we submit to deceit and place ourselves under a system that produces no profit.

Jesus confirms this fact in John 6:63, stating plainly that “the flesh profits nothing.” Every flesh-driven response, though it may promise quick results, elevation, or gratification, ultimately produces emptiness and loss. Satan, as the father of deceit, exploits the fallen human heart by offering appealing shortcuts that end up in destruction. What looks beneficial in the present moment is revealed as barren in the end.

This is why the followers of Jesus must be vigilant and intentional in guarding their hearts, as instructed in Proverbs 4:23, for from the heart flow the outcomes and consequences of life, whether for good or for harm. Therefore how one responds internally from the heart determines the direction one takes and the fruit of one’s life.

The Holy Spirit then brought a comforting reassurance that as followers of Jesus we are not left subject to the mercy of the old heart. The Lord has given us a new heart, the heart of Christ to overcome the fallen human nature that is vulnerable to deception. This fact/truth is affirmed in 2 Corinthians 5:17, which declares that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation meaning that the old has passed away, and all things have become new.

Therefore, as followers of Jesus we must no longer consult the old heart which is the old wineskin for guidance on how to navigate life. The Holy Spirit pointed out that to do so is to return to a system that the Lord has already put away. Instead, we are called to yield fully to the new heart, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory, no longer of shame and disgrace.

Our obedience to the Lord requires us resisting natural, impulsive reactions and, instead pausing intentionally to ask the Holy Spirit how to respond in all things. Acting only upon “thus says the Lord” rather than on carnal reasoning which always positions us as His followers to walk in life and peace rather than death and frustration.

This posture is not optional for us as followers of Jesus but it is vital for those who desire to experience the miraculous works the Holy Spirit has prepared for us particularly in the coming season of greater dimensions of the glory of the Lord being revealed. It is only those who live yielded, heart-led by the Holy Spirit, that will function as co-workers with the Lord in multiple signs, wonders, and divine manifestations that demonstrate the power of the Lord on earth for men to see and turn to serve Jesus.

I declare in the name of Jesus that through this word your heart is purified, aligned, and tuned to the frequency of the Holy Spirit. You will no longer respond from the flesh or be drawn by deceitful shortcuts and the old heart no longer has voice in your decisions, for you live from the new heart which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

I declare that your responses are now Holy Spirit-led, your choices are now life-giving, and your path is guarded by truth. I decree that you will see the Lord clearly, walk in step with Him daily, and be positioned to experience every miracle, sign, and divine appointment He has prepared for you in this season. Through this word you are refined, yielded, and empowered to co-labor with the Holy Spirit in 2026, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 21/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During a time of communion with the Holy Spirit, the Lord gave a clear instruction to me to return to, study, meditate and carefully chart the words He has spoken consistently to me over the past months. These words given by the Holy Spirit are not isolated impressions but form divinely orchestrated themes that reveal the Lord’s ongoing strategy and timing.

As these themes are revisited, their depth enlarges discernment, sharpens our spiritual perception, and equips us the followers of Jesus to walk accurately in the triumph the Holy Spirit initiated long before this present moment. Our alignment with these instructions positions the follower of Jesus  squarely in the bullseye of God’s will for us in this season.

The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to a critical truth we must understand of the fact that there are realities Jesus has already paid for that we as followers of Jesus must actively stand against anything that seeks to contradict them. There are works of darkness that must never be allowed to rule, threaten, master, or keep God’s people in bondage because Jesus has already stripped them of all authority on this earth.

This truth is anchored in 1 John 3:8, which reveals the contrast between the purpose of satan and the purpose of Christ. Sin entered humanity through satan’s deception in the Garden of Eden, thus becoming a dominating force used to enslave mankind. However, the Word makes it unmistakably clear that Jesus was manifested for a present, accomplished purpose and not a future hope which was to destroy the works of the devil. These works are not theoretical but they are tangible realities Jesus deliberately confronted and dismantled.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that because Jesus destroyed the works of satan, it is incompatible with His nature and finished work for oppression, sickness, disease, or bondage to be accepted as normal for His beloved. This truth is further confirmed in Acts 10:38, where Peter declares that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. This establishes oppression as a satanic work, not a divine assignment from the Lord, and healing and freedom as the expressed will of God for the human being.

I recall the time this reality became my personal testimony, on how this revelation became reality when I acted upon it. When a headache attempted to manifest upon me, the Holy Spirit prompted me to make a direct response by rebuking it in Jesus’ name and refusing it the right to trespass on my body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit and the headache left.

Then the symptoms attempted to return to challenge my faith,  but my continued resistance of the symptoms settled the matter permanently. From that point forward, a lifestyle of refusing sickness and rebuking symptoms became established in my life, demonstrating that freedom must be maintained by continual faith-filled resistance.

The Holy Spirit then taught me how to confront spiritual opposition that challenges trust in God’s authority. Psalm 2 became a prophetic framework for my understanding of how demonic alliances rage against God’s anointing, a reality which is confirmed in Acts 4, where Peter applied the word in this  psalm to dispel opposition against Jesus’ work. This understanding equips every follower to recognize, confront, and overcome all coordinated resistance meant to stop the anointing and the divine purpose of God.

Through this revelation, you as a follower of Jesus will learn that God’s intent for us is not passivity but strength, courage, and territorial advancement. The anointing is given to us by the Holy Spirit to produce constant triumph by making us barrier-breakers, burden-removers, yoke-destroyers,  world-overcomers and earth shakers who demonstrate daily that the Lord rules in the affairs of men. Passivity is exposed as a sign of spiritual regression, while forward motion is revealed as Lord’s design.

This principle is echoed in the book of Revelation, where Jesus speaks to seven churches, each facing different challenges, yet to every one He gives the same mandate: you must overcome the obstacle to advance into greater authority and responsibility. A recurring pattern emerges that the Holy Spirit always calls for action. Every instruction is designed to re-engage we as followers into movement, boldness, and spiritual advancement. This is exemplified in Acts 13:46, where Paul and Barnabas grow bold, refusing stagnation or compromise, and decisively move forward in obedience.

To conclude this time let the grace flowing through this word empower you to embrace the call to reject passive suffering and complaint. Instead of tolerating oppression, you as a follower of Jesus are instructed to boldly command it to leave, by standing firmly in the victory Jesus secured on your behalf. By choosing to walk in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, you as a follower of Jesus live free from the law of sin and death. As you take this stand you are maintained with steadfast faith, and all oppression diminishes until it becomes nothing. Remember that remaining immovable in this truth leads to freedom of the highest order which is a life lived in the glory zone which Jesus has ordained for you to walk in.

I declare in the name of Jesus that every work of the devil assigned against your life is disallowed and rendered powerless. I declare that you will no longer tolerate oppression, sickness, bondage, or fear, for Jesus has destroyed these works on your behalf. I command you in the name of Jesus to rise now in boldness, clarity, and spiritual authority, by walking in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

I decree that every raging opposition aligned against your calling collapses before the anointing upon your life. I declare that you are strong, courageous, forward-moving, and triumphant and your complete freedom is established, and as your position of dominion is exercised, the glory of the Lord rests upon you. I declare that you will walk in sustained victory, by manifesting proof that the Lord rules in the affairs of men. This is your inheritance from your heavenly Father, and it shall not be stolen from you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 20/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During a time of communion with the Holy Spirit, the Lord spoke from Proverbs 19:21, revealing a foundational truth that although a person may form many ideas and interpretations concerning God’s plan for their life, only the counsel, design, and purpose of the Lord will ultimately prevail and succeed. This revelation establishes a clear distinction between human interpretation and divine intention.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that the most critical pursuit of a believer’s life is to walk in the Lord’s original blueprint and design, and not in assumptions shaped by personal reasoning, family influence, cultural expectations, or present physical circumstances. Many believers unknowingly adopt a distorted version of God’s will because their understanding is filtered through what seems logical, familiar, or immediately visible, rather than through what the Lord has eternally ordained.

To illustrate this truth, the Holy Spirit highlighted the life of Joseph, whose destiny was revealed to him through two divine dreams recorded in Genesis 37:5–11. These dreams spoke prophetically of rulership and authority, yet both Joseph’s brothers and his father, Jacob, interpreted them narrowly and confined them to family dynamics and household hierarchy. Their reactions were shaped by envy, offense, and misunderstanding, rather than by spiritual discernment.

This misinterpretation was dangerous, because the Lord’s intention for Joseph was not limited to his family. The dreams pointed to Joseph being positioned in Egypt as God’s solution to a global famine which was an assignment that would preserve nations and save multitudes of lives. The family’s limited perspective, had it prevailed, would have thwarted a purpose designed to impact entire regions.

The Holy Spirit warned that we as followers of Jesus must be careful not to allow their current season, pain, or physical surroundings to define the scope of God’s future plan for their lives. The Lord’s designs often reach far beyond what is immediately visible, by extending into nations, generations, and purposes that require faith to perceive its final outcome.

The pathway God used to bring Joseph into Egypt was painful, involving betrayal, rejection, and separation from what was comfortable. Yet this process was not accidental because it was divinely orchestrated to fulfill God’s greater purpose. This truth is powerfully confirmed in Genesis 45:5–9, where Joseph, now as the ruler over Egypt, reveals that it was God, and not the human cruelty of his brothers who sent him ahead to Egypt to preserve life, secure posterity, and bring about such a great deliverance.

Joseph’s testimony exposes the vast difference between man’s interpretation of events and the Lord’s sovereign intent. What appeared as a human tragedy was actually divine positioning and what seemed like loss was preservation and what felt like rejection and betrayal was the pathway to promotion.

The Holy Spirit underscored that there is often a very wide gap between human thoughts and God’s thoughts, Isaiah.55:8 & 9 which is why followers of Jesus must actively cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of God, then submit to God’s perspective. The Lord’s plan always produces restoration, unity, and life, never the destruction, jealousy, and division that satan seeks to replicate, as seen in the contrast between Joseph’s outcome and the tragedy of Cain and Abel.

In conclusion let the grace flowing from this word empower you to abandon vain reasoning, to return back to walking in the center of the Lord’s design, and thus allowing your life to become an instrument of restoration, healing, and kingdom advancement. In this word there is a compassionate appeal for healing from the trauma caused by missed turns caused by delayed obedience, which can harden the heart towards the Lord if it is left unresolved.

The Holy Spirit wants to assure you that the Lord is able to redeem time, restore purpose, and bring His people back to their expected end of glory, thus astonishing both the believer and their adversaries of the magnitude of His might and power thus glorifying the Father through a life aligned with His eternal plan through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I declare in the name of Jesus that every vain imagination and limited interpretation of God’s will over your life is dismantled and you are being realigned into the center of God’s original design and eternal blueprint for your life. I decree that every detour, delay, and distortion is redeemed by divine grace. I declare that healing flows now into every place where disappointment, betrayal, or misunderstanding hardened your heart bringing divine restoration.

I declare that the Lord restores your vision, enlarges your perspective, and accelerates your progress into your appointed destiny. I declare in the name of Jesus that your life will be used by the Lord to preserve lives, restore families, and advance the Kingdom of God across borders and generations. I declare that what the Lord planned for you from the beginning shall come to pass, and it will glorify your Father in heaven and silence every adversary because this is your expected end of glory in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 19/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During a time of deep communion with the Holy Spirit, the emphasis was placed on repentance, surrender, and the resolving of unresolved matters from past relationships, especially where the Lord had previously instructed a separation or a change of course.

The Holy Spirit revealed that these unresolved issues can become legal grounds for accusation, which the enemy exploits to hinder the flow of blessing, introduce delays, and divert believers from their ordained inheritance. Revelation.12:10b.

The Holy Spirit’s intent is not condemnation but to establish complete liberation. The Holy Spirit always corrects through edifying words, not shame, just as Jesus did through the use of parables allowing people to recognize their error, repent, and realign with the Lord’s purposes. The Lord’s heart is always toward our forward movement, and not dwelling on the past once correction of the error has been embraced.

The central work of the Holy Spirit is to help followers of Jesus to understand their own hearts, our motivations, our decisions, and vulnerabilities. True freedom only comes when we own the truth, because it is the truth that we know that makes us free indeed. John.8:31 & 32. Remember that repentance is not punishment against us but it is the pathway to a restored flow in the Spirit, bringing forth clarity, and the ability to lay hold of the inheritance.

To illustrate the seriousness of ignoring divine correction, the Holy Spirit highlighted this in the life of King Jehoshaphat. In 2 Chronicles 19:1–3, Jehoshaphat is warned by a seer after aligning himself with King Ahab, whom the lord identified as a wicked hater of the Lord. Though Jehoshaphat had done many good things, the Lord confronted this specific error of him helping those who oppose the Lord through their actions.

Now instead of fully repenting of this misjudgement and adjusting to the fact that he was wrong, Jehoshaphat allows the acknowledgment of his good deeds spoken by the seer to dull the urgency for repentance.

This pattern continues with Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:35–37, where Jehoshaphat again allies himself with the ungodly having ignored the previous warning, this time with Ahab’s son. The Lord responds this time by destroying his works through the prophetic warning. Ultimately, the consequences escalate in 2 Chronicles 21:3–4, where Jehoshaphat’s son ascends the throne and murders his own brothers, despite Jehoshaphat’s honorable distribution of their inheritance beforehand.

These passages along with 2 Chronicles 20–21 and 1 Kings 15–22 reveal a sobering truth that we as followers of Jesus must recognize with the Lord that our righteous acts do not cancel out our disobedience of the Lord’s commands, and our good intentions do not override the Lord’s perspective of a matter. The Lord always weighs the intent, purpose and direction of the heart in all matters, and not just our past achievements.

A profound question emerges which the Holy Spirit revealed. How could a righteous king end up with destruction in his household, while Ahab’s wicked lineage experienced temporary unity? The answer lies in the righteous intermingling with wickedness and then refusing to repent when confronted with truth by being warned. This principle echoes the strategy of Balaam in Numbers, who advised Balak that Israel could only be defeated if they were drawn into compromise and mixture by intermingling with the heathen.

The Holy Spirit’s warning concerning this area of intermingling is clear that our opinions, emotions, and relational attachments are not what determine outcomes but only obedience to God’s Word that brings victory. Supporting, helping, or aligning with those the Lord has forbidden, even under the banner of loyalty or compassion, can compromise one’s own heritage and rewards.

The call invites us to have a selah moment to pause, reflect, on our actions and then choose to decisively obey the Holy Spirit without excuses. Ignorance, sentimentality, or fear of offense must not override our prompt obedience. The Holy Spirit always offers grace to enable us to walk circumspectly, thus guarding both our destiny and the inheritance of the reward.

The Holy Spirit invites us in conclusion through the grace supplied through this word with a solemn exhortation from 2 John 8 which reads these words:“Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.” This is the Lord’s desire for His people which is to finish well and receive the full reward He has prepared for us.

I declare in the name of Jesus that every accusation of the enemy against your life is silenced by the blood of Jesus that speaks for you the better things that accompany your deliverance. I declare that you receive the grace to repent swiftly, adjust fully, and walk free from every entanglement of your past mistakes.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will grant to you the clarity of heart, the courage to obey, and the necessary discernment to separate from every alliance not ordained by the Lord for your life.

I declare that no delay, detour, or diversion will rob you of your inheritance and you will not lose what you have labored for, but you will receive a full reward. I declare that your path is purified, your future is secured, and your blessing flows unhindered as you walk in truth, obedience, and righteousness. This shall be your portion in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 18/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

The Holy Spirit continues to lead us forward in His instructions on walking in complete union with Him through a steadfast heart, so that the inheritance of the Lord may move from a promise into living reality. Central to this understanding is the revelation of who God eternally is. In Genesis.26:24 the Lord does not say “I was the God of Abraham,” but that “I AM the God of Abraham.”

This truth is vital for faith to be in operation, because it establishes that the same God who worked powerfully in Abraham’s life is fully alive and active today, and is able to do the same and even more for those who follow Him.

This is why Abraham is called the father of our faith because he is not merely a historical figure, but as a spiritual pattern which we can follow. The way Abraham responded to God, how he obeyed Him, and walked in righteousness is the same pathway we believers must follow to experience the manifestation of God’s promises in their own lives.

The Lord Himself invites this reflection in Isaiah 51:1–2, calling all who pursue righteousness and seek the Lord to look carefully at Abraham and Sarah. God reminds us that He called Abraham alone, blessed him, and increased him. The instruction is clear to those who desire the inheritance of God to study and follow the righteous path Abraham walked in order to receive what the Lord promised him. Most notably the manifestation of Isaac, alongside all the other blessings Abraham enjoyed.

Jesus reinforces this principle in Matthew 6:33, by commanding believers to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, with the assurance that all other things will be added to them. Righteousness must be desired, because Jesus Himself is the King of righteousness, and it is through the gift of righteousness that believers reign as kings in this life, as declared in Romans 5:17.

The Holy Spirit then focused on a pivotal moment in Abraham’s life when he moved to the place where he transitioned from the promise to manifestation of the promise. The Lord had spoken repeatedly about blessing Abraham, but when the time arrived for Isaac to be born, the Lord revealed Himself in a new way to Abraham as El Shaddai, the Almighty God (Genesis 17:1). This fresh revelation of God’s nature carried with it a new requirement that Abraham was now called to walk before the Lord and be blameless.

This was not a demand for perfection, but a call to blamelessness of heart that is a life where Abraham’s intentions, motives, and decisions could not be rightly accused. His walk could no longer be casual. He was required to actively engage his heart in faithfulness, obedience, and reverence, ensuring that everything he did aligned with God’s holiness.

Jesus later confirms the depth of Abraham’s revelation in John 8:56–58, declaring that Abraham rejoiced to see His day and recognized the eternal “I AM.” With greater revelation came greater responsibility. More had been entrusted to Abraham, and therefore his conduct had to reflect a deeper honoring of God’s holiness.

Abraham now needed a spiritually calculated and intentional walk of one that pleased God and left no room for compromise. The earlier mistake involving Hagar served as a warning because careless decisions pollute one’s house and give the enemy access. In the season of manifestation, such errors could cost him everything.

This principle applies directly to followers of Jesus today because the closer one comes to the fulfillment of God’s promises, the greater the need for vigilance, sobriety, and spiritual discipline. Hope must be fully anchored in the grace supplied by the Holy Spirit, as instructed in 1 Peter 1:13, enabling believers to remain blameless before God.

This is also the season when human temptations intensify. When unusual offers, with distractions, and opportunities for compromise will arise, seeking to pull you away from righteousness and place you in a position of blame. Yet the responsibility remains clear that you must stay faithful, obedient, and ensure that you are found blameless before the Lord in all your actions so that you may fully inherit what the Lord has promised.

I declare in the name of Jesus that you will walk in complete union with the Holy Spirit, with a steadfast heart and unwavering obedience to the word of the Lord. You will honor the holiness of God and walk blamelessly before Him in this season of manifestation. I declare that every temptation to compromise will lose its power over you, and every distraction meant to derail your inheritance is silenced.

I decree that you will be found faithful, vigilant,  righteous, and fully upheld by the grace of the Holy Spirit. The promises the Lord has spoken over your life will move from word spoken into reality, and you will inherit all that the Lord has prepared for you, to the glory of His name because this is your portion in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 17/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

This message emerges from an intimate communion time with the Holy Spirit and carries a sober and necessary reminder for this season to keep us balanced in our thinking. The Holy Spirit said that even though gifts are given by the Lord and have the power to open doors, our relationship with the Lord must always take precedence over gifting.

The Holy Spirit brought clarity that although Scripture teaches that “a man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before kings” (Proverbs 18:16), gifts alone are never sufficient to preserve our life, secure deliverance, or guarantee our victory in critical moments.

The Lord emphasized that throughout Scripture in lived out experience many servants of God possessed remarkable gifts, yet when they were faced with life-threatening or impossible situations, their gifting could not save them. What preserved them in those circumstances was their covenant relationship, fellowship, and the ability to call on the Lord in prayer and receive immediate answers by divine intervention.

The Holy Spirit highlighted Daniel as a primary example. When in Daniel.2 King Nebuchadnezzar demanded that his wise men reveal not only the interpretation of his dream but the dream itself, no human gift or wisdom could meet that requirement. The situation was a death sentence for all the wise men of Babylon.

In this event Daniel’s survival and elevation were not the result of his gifting alone, but the answer depended on his ability to seek the Lord in prayer, then receive the divine revelation, and obtain an answer directly from the Lord. This intimate relationship with the Lord distinguished Daniel, separated him from all others, and propelled him rapidly into prominence and favor in Babylon.

The Holy Spirit also drew my attention to King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles.18, who found himself in the midst of battle, surrounded by enemies sent specifically to kill the king of Israel. Jehoshaphat, wearing kingly robes, was fully identifiable and within striking distance of death. In that moment, no gift, skill, or natural ability he possessed could save him.

Jehoshaphat cried out to the Lord in an emergency prayer which is a prayer born from relationship, and the Lord responded immediately. His attackers were divinely diverted, sparing Jehoshaphat’s life as they turned away in search of King Ahab instead. This supernatural intervention was solely the result of God showing up in response to His covenant relationship.

Through these accounts, the Lord clearly communicated that God’s presence, response, and intervention in the “now” far outweigh the operation of any gift. Gifts cannot solve every problem, but fellowship with the Lord ensures access to the One who can. The Holy Spirit stressed that the ability to call on the Lord and receive His answer in critical moments is far more valuable than any gift you received from Him.

In concluding this word from my communion time there is a strong exhortation that as followers of Jesus we must make communion, union, and fellowship with the Lord our highest daily priority. A living, vibrant relationship with the Lord ensures that when one calls upon Him in prayer, He answers; when danger arises, deliverance comes; and when crisis strikes, help is immediate. Neglecting fellowship and communion with the Holy Spirit risks one being found unprepared in moments when only the Lord Himself can intervene miraculously to save us.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your communion with the Lord will be strong, living, and uninterrupted. You will no longer rely on your gifting alone, but you will walk in deep covenant and communion with the Holy Spirit. I declare that when you call, the Lord will answer you in the now. I decree that in moments of pressure, danger, and life threatening decisions, divine intervention will arise on your behalf.

I decree that the Lord will show up for you with clarity, deliverance, and preservation, and you will never be found wanting or unprepared in any life circumstance in Jesus name. I declare that your life will be marked by intimacy with the Lord, timely answers, and supernatural rescue, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 16/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

This message flows from intimate communion with the Holy Spirit and is a divine re-emphasis on the urgent necessity of guarding the heart with all diligence. The Holy Spirit highlights this truth as essential for living above life’s pressures, overcoming adversity, and inheriting the triumph the Lord has prepared for this year. The central burden of the message is to impart grace that enables followers of Jesus to rise above troubling circumstances and remain inwardly stable, victorious, and aligned with God’s purposes.

The Holy Spirit reveals a vital spiritual secret that the condition of the heart determines your direction, decisions, and outcomes. Whatever stance the heart takes in a situation will ultimately govern the course of one’s life and the result you will experience. For this reason, the Lord is deeply concerned with us keeping our hearts free from disturbance, fear, anxiety, and agitation, regardless of the external circumstances.

This teaching is further anchored in John 14:1–4, where Jesus commands His disciples, “Let not your hearts be troubled.” This instruction makes it clear that the heart does not become troubled automatically, and it only becomes troubled by our permission. Jesus reveals that His followers have authority and responsibility over their heart’s reactions, and that the troubling of the heart is a choice, not an inevitability.

Jesus gives this instruction at a moment when the disciples are about to face their greatest emotional trial. He is preparing to surrender Himself to be crucified which is a scene that, in the natural realm, looks like total defeat. Now remember that the disciples had never witnessed Jesus fail or lose out in any situation, and now He was about to die and seemingly abandon them. Their entire lives, trust, and identity had been invested in following Him, so His death threatened to leave them feeling orphaned and uncertain of their future.

Yet Jesus called them not to interpret events by appearance but by their trust in His character, faithfulness, and spoken word. Though they could not understand what was unfolding, they were instructed not to allow their hearts to lose peace because of the agony of the cross. Jesus had already declared that He would rise again on the third day, and their peace was to be anchored not in circumstances, but in who He is and what He had said.

This heart posture is what the Holy Spirit requires of the followers of Jesus in every season because It demonstrates complete dependence on God, total trust in His word, and a refusal to lean on human understanding. The message echoes the truth in Proverbs.3:5 & 6 that trusting the Lord with all the heart and not leaning on one’s own understanding is not optional for living by faith but foundational to be productive in the Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit further revealed that our heart trust will always be tested, not to destroy us, but to expose what truly resides within the corners of our heart. Life will always present situations that rise up against the knowledge of God and speak contrary to His promises. In those moments, victory or defeat is determined by whether the heart yields to the fear and disturbance or remains anchored in faith and trust.

As followers of Jesus I want you to be reminded that while you cannot control every circumstance or situation in life, you do have full authority over how your heart responds. The Holy Spirit assures us emphatically that we do not need to allow troubling thoughts or emotions to take residence in our hearts. Instead, we are invited to rest our hearts fully in the infallible, immutable will of the Lord, which cannot lie and will always prevail.

As your heart chooses trust over trouble, as a follower of Jesus you will emerge victorious, carrying yet another testimony of God’s awesome power working on your behalf. As you take hold of this word remember it is a call to an intentional heart alignment to never be troubled as you submit to the abundance of grace flowing towards you.

Through this word remove every troubling influence, and choose unwavering trust in the Lord regardless of physical conditions. This choice will bring you stability, a restored position, and cause all life circumstances to shift in favor of God’s purposes and plans being fulfilled in your life.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your heart is strengthened, guarded, and established in an unwavering trust in the Lord. You will no longer permit fear, worry, or disturbance to take residence within you. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, you choose faith over fear and trust over turmoil.

I declare that every situation rising against the knowledge of God will bow to the authority of Jesus’ word in your heart. I decree divine stability, clarity, and peace over your inner man, and I declare that as your heart rests in the infallible will and word of God, victory, restoration, and triumph will manifest in your life. I decree that you are coming out stronger, wiser, and fully triumphant, carrying a fresh testimony of God’s faithfulness in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 15/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

In this morning’s communion time with the Holy Spirit He emphasized us taking the deliberate choice of cheerfulness as a vital spiritual posture, regardless of circumstances. Cheerfulness is not an emotional reaction to favorable conditions but it is a decision of the will. Once that choice is made, the Holy Spirit then supplies the grace required to walk it out consistently. This initial choice is an act of consecration because it is committing ourselves to walking in the way of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit made it clear that no situation, regardless of how adverse it is, should determine how we respond or react, because life’s events are never meant to dictate our conduct. True spiritual maturity is revealed when external pressures and natural events no longer control our inner responses, no matter how severe their impact may be.

This truth is powerfully illustrated through the life of the Apostle Paul during his journey to Rome in Acts 27–28. Paul did not choose the events that unfolded. In fact, if his prophetic warning had been heeded, the voyage would have been delayed and the devastating storm avoided altogether. The hardship, loss, and danger that followed were all not the result of Paul’s decisions. Humanly speaking, his distress would have justified him being angry, bitter, and worthy of dispensing harsh responses.

For fourteen days, the ship was engulfed in darkness with no sun, moon, or stars being visible  with the addition of being violently tossed by the sea. The situation was so dire that all hope of survival was abandoned, and death was expected. Yet in the midst of these uncontrollable circumstances, Paul remained cheerful, composed, and full of hope. So rather than reacting to fear, he rose up as a solution-bearer, speaking life and reassurance, by declaring that no life would be lost  but only the ship.

Paul’s confidence was anchored not in the changing circumstances but in a divine visitation when an angel of the Lord appeared to him, confirming the Lord’s purpose for him to appear before Caesar thus revealing this favorable outcome before any natural evidence had shifted.

Paul’s cheerfulness flowed from this unshakable truth that his life was hidden in Christ Jesus, and only that relationship determined  his outcomes in life, not the events, not the people, and not storms had any authority over his destiny. Thus because the Lord had spoken, everything else had to align with the voice of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit underscored that this same reality applies to us today. So we must choose cheerfulness, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is actively working for us and in us. Romans.8:35. Depression, worry, and distress lose their authority when eternal life is at work on our behalf. For this reason that Christ lives in us, failure is not an option, because triumph is always assured.

Through the grace flowing through this word the call is clear which is to submit to the truth, by laying down the lie, and intentionally choose the joy of the Lord again. As you do, the joy of the Lord will spring up afresh, empowering you to emerge from all threatening situations with joy unspeakable and full of glory. In this posture, you experience the mighty power of the Most High working on your behalf.

So I exhort you to rejoice in the Lord continually by being consumed with His cheerfulness and bidding farewell to all sorrow and sighing, and watching the Holy Spirit orchestrate outcomes that bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus concerning your life.

I declare in the name of Jesus that as you choose cheerfulness today, the grace of the Holy Spirit empowers you to walk in it. From today no circumstances, storms, or opposition will dictate your response or define your outcomes. I declare that your life is hidden in Christ, and eternal life is actively working on your behalf. I decree that depression, worry, sorrow, and sighing lose their grip over you now.

I decree that an outburst of joy unspeakable and full of glory is arising within you, lifting you far above every threatening situation.  I declare that you will emerge triumphant, victorious, and filled with the visible power of God, thus bringing honor and glory to the name of Jesus. Rejoice in the Lord I say to you and again I say, rejoice in the might of the Lord in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 14/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

In this sacred time of communion with the Holy Spirit He spoke clearly about the necessity of aligning our hearts with His will so that, in this year, we may inherit our destiny and walk as partakers of the divine nature of Christ (the Anointed One) on earth.

God’s intention is that our lives visibly reflect Jesus as we become symbols, banners, and living testimonies of who He is, so that humanity may see His goodness in action and glorify His name. Through us, the Lord desires to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness, made manifest in practical, observable reality, for the expansion of His Kingdom on earth. Ephesians.2:7.

The Holy Spirit drew my attention to Proverbs 2:21 from the Passion translation, which  declared that “all my godly lovers will enjoy life to the fullest and will inherit their destinies.” This establishes the Lord’s heart and purpose which is to bring His people into the full enjoyment of life and into the full inheritance He has prepared for them.

Each day, the Holy Spirit actively works to position Jesus’ followers so they may walk in the good works ordained for them and partake of God’s divine nature in lived experience. Ephesians.2:10

This truth is further confirmed in 1 Peter 1:4–5, where believers are reminded that they have been born again into an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading, which is reserved in heaven and guarded by God for those who trust Him, ready to be revealed.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that this inheritance and destiny are not subject to earthly control, and cannot be corrupted, diminished, or rendered insignificant, as it remains fully protected in God. Through the Throne of Grace, we as followers of Jesus may actively lay hold of the deliverance prepared for them and experience its manifestation in our present circumstances.

We come to understand that because of this reality, close attention must be given to the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit, for He alone knows exactly where the inheritance is located and how to lead us into experiencing its harvest. Therefore a trained heart which is one that listens daily to His voice is absolutely essential to knowing what to do and where to go to lay hold of our harvest.

To illuminate this truth, the Holy Spirit like Jesus always did, draws a parallel with my natural inheritance from my dad after his passing. Just as my earthly father had prepared an inheritance for his children through his own labor, not through the children’s work, so God has prepared an inheritance for His sons and daughters.

Qualification comes not through personal effort but through sonship. If an earthly father with evil present with him provides in this way, how much more will God faithfully bring into manifestation what He has stored up for His children.

This is why we are told that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance, that is they are unchanging and irrevocable. The  Lord does not withdraw His promise. However, believers can hinder themselves by moving out of position or by being deceived into walking away from the path where the inheritance is accessed.

Satan’s strategy is never to cancel the inheritance because he cannot, but he aims to deceive the believer into a place where he forfeits its enjoyment. Yet, through repentance and obedience to the Holy Spirit, one can always be guided back onto the path of life, where the inheritance is claimed and received in Jesus’ name.

As this truth settles deep in your hearts, recognise that the appropriate response is to rehearse God’s promises over and over again by meditation on the truth. Then call in the divine provision, and actively lay hold of all resources needed for your life, godliness, and the fulfillment of God’s purposes which include reaching nations with the message of the Kingdom and raising Ensigns for Him.

As followers of Jesus I encourage you to remember who called and ordained you, to rise from insufficiency and lack, and to begin living in the good life the Lord has already prepared for you. Jesus Himself declared in John.10:10 that He came so that we might have life, and life in its fullest measure.

Accusations from the enemy must be forcefully rejected, and your faith must boldly declare that our Heavenly Father who owns all things, has left us an inheritance of all things to be enjoyed now, by empowering us to succeed, flourish, blossom, and fully possess everything He has destined for us to have here on earth.

I declare in the name of Jesus that you are through this word aligned with the will of God and positioned to inherit your destiny in this season. I declare that you will partake of the divine nature of the Lord and visibly display the exceeding riches of His grace. I decree that your inheritance is incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading, and you will lay hold of it now by the help of the Holy Spirit.

I declare that every deception designed to move you out of position is broken, and that you are led back onto the path of life where triumph abounds in all areas of your life. I decree that lack, insufficiency, and false accusations lose their grip, and you arise in your sonship privileges of provision, authority, and divine purpose. I declare that you will flourish, blossom, and succeed in everything the Father has ordained for you by manifesting life in its fullest measure, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
