Today I am sharing a portion of my communion time with the Holy Spirit which I will conclude tomorrow. May these words equip you with the necessary grace to override the mistakes of the past and go into your future completely guilt free knowing you have been justified by the blood of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit wants me to deal with the questions regarding what past mistakes really benefit us and how not to give credit to those situations because one felt they made us better and more spiritually alert.

First of all the Holy Spirit talked about not dwelling in or living in the past and to put a stop to that way of processing because it amounts to driving forward while looking backwards.

Where you live and what you dwell on are completely different from using an experience to navigate correctly from a mistake.

Of course we are to learn from the past but we are not to live in the trauma of the past and make it our place of abode.

If you always focus on your mistakes you will keep repeating them because you have not changed your posture, you just keep doing the same thing and nothing will shift or change and you still remain stunted.

You need to let go of the pain and trauma then find a new way of walking forward which is what the Holy Spirit will help you find. Hebrews.12:15.

If the Apostle Paul kept looking at how Stephen died and how all the Christians he killed and hurt felt all day long he would never have written any letter to encourage us to live for God.

He certainly would not have any revelation from the Lord to share because he could not look up and see the light because all he meditated on was those past hurts and the anguish of the men He hurt.

However Paul put those sins behind him through repentance and allowed the Lord to show him His mercy and compassion and out of those gave him messages of deliverance and help for even us today that enables us to navigate through situations that happen in our lives. Philippians.3:13 & 14.

My point is that in the Holy Spirit when we allow the past to haunt us, by controlling our actions and responses means God is unable to use and work with us because we are unable to change making it impossible for even the Lord to change our perspective and ultimate action which results in us remaining dead in our trespasses.

The Lord always offers us the way forward with a thought to make us change direction from a way that is hurting us and making us stagnant. Isaiah.55:7 & 8.

The Holy Spirit is always in motion doing and accomplishing the will of Jesus and we need to get onboard with Him where He is leading and guiding the Kingdom mandate. John.16:14 & 15.

The Holy Spirit wants us to focus on and look at what lies before us and take our eyes off the past. Let’s look at what the Apostle Paul said concerning this area.

In Philippians.3: 13 & 14 we read these words :Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Well the Apostle Paul certainly had a bad enough past of things done against God’s special servants including Stephen in Acts.6:57-60 to keep his memory fresh if he chose to. On how evil his past actions were?

Well if he kept those memories at the forefront of his mind he could never progress in his relationship with the Lord because he was instrumental in bringing down God’s general. For his past sins God cannot possibly use him to gain much more territory for His name sake.

Did the Lord want him to be paralysed in a state of I cannot forget what happened while remaining unfruitful and affecting nothing? Certainly not.

In like manner concerning you stop acting like a nuisance and impediment in the Kingdom always looking at the past rather than moving forward as an asset that the Lord can create beautiful ornaments from. To impact the lives of people needing to come out of places of bondage and oppression you have experienced and can provide them with the spiritual tools for their deliverance.

So today wake up out of holding on to the past and let it go.

FORGET the PAST and press into the future ahead of you.

This is the greatest hour of your existence set by the Lord before you so do not let it pass you by. Luke.9:62.

Embrace the future as you let go eternally of the past in Jesus name and just watch how things will fall into place on your behalf. It will amaze you how fruitful and productive your life will become in Jesus name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit says today that we need to set our gaze fully on the path He Jesus has set before us. Now He pointed out to me how we ought to gaze continually at something with the intent and purpose of taking note of every movement and observing any change that happens. Revelation.4:6-11.

The intent is to record all changes or disturbances that occur, in order that we do not miss even the slightest movement which can give additional insight or knowledge. The Holy Spirit pointed out that this is the level of attention we need to give to the things He speaks to us.

We need to develop a mindset that doesn’t take the words He speaks lightly by acting presumptuously assuming we have all the knowledge necessary once we hear a word. John.5:30.

We need He pointed out to focus our attention with fixed purpose as Jesus did at the garden of Gethsemane before going ahead and walking the path of the cross for us. Luke.22:39-46.

The writer of Hebrews pointed out in Hebrews.12:2 & 3.that Jesus looked at the joy set before Him not the side show of the pain, shame and sorrow. His gaze was completely on the path the Father had prepared for Him and there was no turning from it.

The Holy Spirit said that’s what we need to continue doing daily to build our walk with Him to ensure we will not come off the path because of side shows that look interesting and lucrative. Ephesians.2:10.

Looking straight ahead and not allowing life’s distractions which He pointed out will always be there. 1 John.2:15-17. We need to be able to navigate life in spite of them and zero in on the Lord’s path for our lives.

Doing Him and fulfilling His pleasure is more valuable than any side show satan can muster to distract us and we need to recognise this by making our adjustments to line up with God. More and More He pointed out we are going to need to develop our gazing on Him.

That means we see nothing but His will and plan and live in that zone of life free of the enemy and the ups and downs of misses and partial victories. Ephesians.2:7.

We need to want to inherit the full prize and not be willing to settle for a partial relief of victory that keeps us running circles of pain, trauma and small blessings of relief. Ephesians.1:13 & 14.

I encourage you today to take the high road and set your gaze upon the path the Lord has prepared for you. Purposefully ignore all the life distractions that are vying for your attention. Mark.4:16-19.

Then watch all those seemingly great ideas wither before you and become nothing as you march in the triumphant path of the Lord that brings you rich fulfilment in all things which makes and keeps you whole in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me in my communion time about goal setting from His perspective versus mine. He spoke of how much time we humans spend setting daily, monthly, yearly goals which we then work towards daily to achieve a project or design we want to accomplish which is a good practice.

However He pointed out to me two most important goals we should never drift from no matter what happens in life. The Holy Spirit pointed out that they are our lifeline, but we don’t place enough value on them to consistently do them diligently. We keep falling away from doing them and make excuses about why they can wait.

The first He said was to walk in wisdom and secondly is to discover my purpose. It seemed simple enough I thought but He explained it required a process because before you can walk in something you have to know it well enough. Now this is the Passion translation of Proverbs.3:21. It makes this reality so clear but we keep missing it.

Let me share it here: Proverbs.3:21 My child, never drift off course from these two goals for your life: to walk in wisdom and to discover your purpose. Don’t ever forget how they empower you. Versus the New King James version which reads My son, let them not depart from your eyes—Keep sound wisdom and discretion;

This is why it is so important for us to search out the various translations of the scripture because the Hebrew words need so many different English words to capture the true essence of what was being said and each translator takes the view that speaks to them or the mindset they had at the time.

The Holy Spirit pointed out that wisdom firstly has to be sought for diligently and not loosely as it can only be found if our hearts are committed to the process which will of course involve time which is precious. We must not drift from taking time to seek Him daily for the necessary wisdom on what to do. Then change and align to do and obey it if we are to walk it out in real terms. Hebrews.2:1-4.

The Holy Spirit was firm and said no excuses but repentance when we are found drafting. I believe you are getting the picture. He is wanting more of our time spent with Him gaining life rather than seeking temporary things which always fail and fade in time no matter how wonderful they were at the beginning.

The Holy Spirit wants our hearts’ greatest desire to be coming wholly after Him. The Lord loves to be sought after. Deuteronomy.6:5.

He went on to explain the second which is the discovery of my purpose which again one can never find outside the wisdom from Him and close relationship with Him. Jeremiah.29:13.

He reminded me that Jesus said in John:5:30 that the Son can do nothing on His own but what He sees the Father do. He pointed out that most times we start in His will when we first hear His voice but quickly drift off into our own thoughts on what we believe His will is.

Only to find out after taking our thoughts down the line that we are miles off course and in a place of danger needing help.

This the Holy Spirit pointed out could have been avoided if we had just checked in with Him daily and made the necessary adjustment of perspective we needed in order to be in total step with His will.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that He wants us to walk in His will more than you desire it. John.16:13-15. However we need to make the smart choice to come to Him. That is how free will operates which He has given to each human to make the choice.

The Holy Spirit pointed out that’s why He loved David so much because he always inquired of the Lord rather than presume on the Lord. 1 Samuel.23:2. He was a man after God’s heart and had so many answers because he asked and therefore received. Acts.13:22.

These are the most important goals we are never to drift from for they keep us in constant union with the Lord and in step with His will which is the greatest virtue of life in Jesus. John.8:29.

So I encourage you today as I was challenged to come back to making these two goals the priority in your lives and see the difference it will make in your daily outcomes in life. Watch the progression as you move from shame and pain to glory and abundant outstanding results.

May you be touched by the Holy Spirit today and rediscover the wells of life He has in store for you in Jesus Name. Amen.

Today I prayed this prayer by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in my communion time with Him and want to share it with you as a prayer you can pray daily to help your walk in the Spirit with the Lord.

Thank You Holy Spirit for resolving the inner conflict of our souls that is (our minds, our will, our emotions, and our intellect) that empower us to make the right decision. Help us today to resolve the inner conflicts within us that rob us of Your better plan for our lives and make us settle for nothingness and failure. 2.Corinthians.10:3-7.

Help us to reject the thoughts of grandeur, and entitlement that threaten to cause us not to embrace the mind of service to and for You. Empower us to see ourselves from Your perspective and reject any contrary voice that speaks to weaken our resolve. 2 Peter.2:18-22.

Help us reject all voices that force us back to the failure syndrome which robs us of the achievement and attainment of God’s intent and purpose for our lives. Holy Spirit please enable us to accept your counsel to walk in union with You till Your counsel is manifested on earth. Galatians.5:16.

Keep us from the negative thoughts, vibes and narratives that seek to tell us that this cannot happen for us seeking to make us step down from the place of trust to submit to fear thus relinquishing the ground we had gained. 2 Corinthians.2:11.

Cause us Holy Spirit to be stout hearted and bull headed in doing what You guide us to do by obeying promptly and being resistant to any other contrary voice or vibe that seeks to influence us. 1 Chronicles.12:33. Empower us to resist and ward off any counsel that offers a contrary reward to what You have promised.

Let us not fall for the same lie that satan offered Eve to settle for knowledge by gaining it from the tree of good and evil. Genesis.3:4 & 5. Empower us to follow Your word and the promises you made to us as in them is our life. 2 Peter.1:3 & 4.

Help us to be conscious of the reality that we can stumble at any moment and be diverted from the God path and find ourselves drifting to places and situations we are unconscious of that lead to nothingness. Hebrews.3:12-15.

Help us Holy Spirit from stumbling and falling then present us Holy and blameless before God so we are able to receive and experience the reward You planned for us to experience. Jude.1:24.Do not allow pride or arrogance or that evil way take preeminence over our thoughts and ruin our reward by derailing us off of the God path.

Teach us Holy Spirit and enable us to walk in Your teaching until we attain the God intended outcome. Let us not begin the walk and then stumble as Peter did on the water and lose the full reward. Matthew.14:29-32. Help us to walk the path of trust to the end and not settle for having begun but never completed the walk to inherit the reward.

Let our lives reflect that we started and completed the full journey with God and have the perfect desired outcome God intended for our lives over and over again. Let our lives overflow with God’s completed results of full glory, His goodness and resounding signs, wonders and miracles that show that Jesus is with us. Ephesians.3:20 & 21.

Grant this we pray in Jesus Name. Amen.

We receive this prayer concluded and completed in every way and accept the aid of angels and the Holy Spirit and all heavenly Hosts of God to make this a reality in our lives in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a God enriched and empowered triumphant day in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me this morning about attuning my soul to becoming more willing to wait on Him before taking action. Psalm.103:1. 

The Holy Spirit pointed out how easily our souls always want to react and respond quickly to events prematurely which causes us to make mistakes. The intent is to force us to lose out on the plan God intended.

 We need to train our souls to wait patiently on the Lord and our mouths to refrain from quick responses by waiting for the direction and life giving words of the Holy Spirit to speak. 

He reminded me of the occasion in John.8:3-11 where the lady who was caught in adultery was brought before Jesus and they wanted Him to respond immediately.

However Jesus responded by first pausing to allow the Holy Spirit to provide Him the answer that was most appropriate to give rather than just blot out a response that could have hurt Him. 

He reminded me that though they kept pressing Jesus for an answer. Jesus simply switched off concerning the pressure being applied on Him by giving His spirit the opportunity to listen to the Holy Spirit who in turn gave him words to speak which silenced the whole moment.

 The answer given by the Holy Spirit brought unusual results by dismantling the accusing crowd aroused by His enemies which left Him alone with the accused victim. Jesus is absolutely beautiful in His response to people’s anger and determined wicked intentions.

 As I pondered this reality it provided me an opportunity to repent of the many occasions I had been too hasty to give an answer which went wrong. However I was now able to relook at those matters and correct my perception at those times and see my mistakes which I could now correct.

 I don’t know of any teacher that is able to correct with such distinction and class as the Holy Spirit. John.16:13 & 14. This word has enabled me to understand why the enemy always wants us to blot out things prematurely so that we give him room in our matters and allow him scope to destroy a potential God situation and ruin it. Ephesians.4:27.

We need to remember to be slow to speak and swift to listen. James.1:19. He reminded me that refraining from speaking means non committal. However once we have spoken we have indicated our choices and will have to live with the consequences. 

This God principle He pointed out I should adopt more purposefully will free me from many problems and difficulties. He pointed out to me that no matter the pressure, fear of loss and the missing of a lifetime opportunity. 

We must wait for Him and only respond with His decision and words not ours. 

So today I encourage you to slow down in your responses to questions that seek to entrap you and wait on the Holy Spirit before you blab out what will hurt you. 

Speak to your soul to calm down and wait on the Lord because through it you will be strengthened in the Lord and the power of His might. Psalm.103:1.

 Let grace arise in your soul today to gain the greater strength in God rather than the loss caused by wrong untimely responses which breed sorrow. 1 John.4:4.

May your day be victorious and triumphant as you yield to these words from the Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit this morning which is my life connection to the heart of God. It is what enables me to know what the Lord has to say about things concerning my life and Godliness. John.5:30. 

The Holy Spirit spoke to me about asking Him to empty out of my heart everything that is false, every lie and every crooked thing that is an obstacle to me reaching my full potential in Him and walking in the paths He ordained for me to achieve and fulfill for Him on earth. 

The reason behind this request the Holy Spirit asked me to make of Him is to empower me to have maximum results in my life free from the encumbrances in my heart that limit my victories. 

This word is recorded in Proverbs:30.8 which is a prayer I now pray daily. The Holy Spirit went on to show me further confirmation in Isaiah:40:3-5 as a necessary requirement for us disciples to make our daily practice in life if we are to see His glory manifested in a constant way for us. 

The Holy Spirit emphasized the importance of emptying out every false thing from our hearts and the lies that we have believed, received and walked in that have ended us up in tricky difficult stagnant places.

 The Holy Spirit has had to navigate us out of unnecessary situations and then reposition us safely into green pastures which can be time consuming that could be avoided if only we did this daily. 

The Holy Spirit always points out the truth by sharing the reasons why we should adopt this strategy concerning our hearts in order to stop us suffering undue sorrow and pain in our life’s which Jesus carried for us. Hebrews.4:14-16.

 Jesus wants us to enjoy and experience more of the good life which is why He paid the due price for us to have life and that more abundantly without added sorrow. John.10:10. 

The Holy Spirit pointed out to me that He takes no pleasure in us suffering and missing the mark but in us bearing much fruit which remains. John.15:13-16.

 Jesus died to make sure we could succeed, and not to remain in failure. The Holy Spirit reminded me that we don’t need Him to help us fail as we are masters at failure because of Adam’s transgression. The Holy Spirit pointed out that Jesus is fully aware of our shortcomings. 

The reason we need  union with Jesus is to enable us to start succeeding and making greater progress in life. John.15:5-8. 

Every lie or falsehood we choose to bow to or allow in our hearts impedes the truth we know in our hearts and keeps us bound as slaves to that narrative of continuous grinding with no way out. Genesis.3:17-19. 

 We must, the Holy Spirit insisted, permit only truth in the heart which makes us free. Then repent quickly of any lies and deceptions we receive which seek to offer us an easy way out of seemingly difficult quandaries. Hebrews.12:1 & 2.

He pointed out that we need to ask Him for help because He is our Helper to daily remove falsehoods and lies from our lives as our human heart always first responds to deception because that’s what it loves. Jeremiah.17:9.

 It is important to know that only the new God’s heart can respond to truth which we consciously have to agree to and then do in order to succeed. 2 Corinthians.5:17-19.

 So my dear Brethren ask the Holy Spirit to help you empty your heart daily of the trash the world offers: that is the lies and falsehood. Then embrace the grace supplied to you to enable you to accept and allow truth to flow through your hearts so that God can be seen and manifested through you.

 This reality is what Jesus pointed out in Matthew.5:16 when He said let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 

This the Holy Spirit pointed out to me is the Fathers greatest desire for us so, we need to pursue it with all our heart, mind, emotions, will, intellect and body daily as we face daily battles and struggles which we must overcome. 1 John.5:4 & 5. 

Rise up in the grace these words make available to you and have a triumphant day by being a refreshing spring of life to someone today who is needing to be lifted from a pit of sorrow. 

Let this be your reality because you choose to yield to the Holy Spirit’s voice in you to become His voice to them that gives them that freedom in Jesus Name. Amen.

Do you feel like you are always being corrected and rebuked for every little thing you do? Are you annoyed as to why the Holy Spirit is always judging your motives and conduct rather than heaping praise on you? Psalm.73:13-17.

Well today the Holy Spirit gave me an encouraging word for you. Be assured that you are being corrected first because God loves you and doesn’t want you to fail. Just think about that reality. Hebrews.12:6-8.

The Lord has committed Himself to you triumphing in life and for that reason will not leave you to your own devices which will bring you failure. The Holy Spirit reminded me that the people He God leaves to their own devices are those that fall into perdition.

This is because they have received a hardened heart and are unable to repent and find deliverance. This is why we need to rejoice and be glad that the Lord is on our back always correcting our conduct. Hebrews.12:7 & 8.

The Holy Spirit went on further to explain that corrections also deal with us being empowered to navigate things more accurately from a wider spectrum of truth beyond our mindsets. This impetus from the Lord reflects in us seeing things from God’s viewpoint versus our limitations on matters which have much more far reaching consequences. Revelation.4:6 & 8.

It is only through Godly correction and rebuke that we can experience the operation of wisdom working for our benefit which enables us to make the right decisions which are vital for achieving Godly outcomes in our life’s.

The Holy Spirit then reminded me of those He never corrected in the bible and what their end was? I certainly don’t want to think about those peoples’ end because it is too painful. Judas is a clear example. Jesus said it would have been better for him never to have been born than to end up as he did. Acts.1:16-20.

This is the reality about those the Lord allowed to have their own way free of correction and of course the result of their ways which is untimely death.

We need the Holy Spirit pointed out to me to value most highly the correction and rebuke of the Lord because it ensures we remain in His ways and means we will walk in His paths of pleasantness and peace at all times.

Jesus He pointed out commanded us to follow Him not dictate to Him. Matthew.4:19. His record of leading people to success and victory is immutable so we can confidently follow His voice being fully assured that we will reach the side of victory and triumph. 1 Peter.5:10 & 11.

So today begin to develop a love and passion for the correction and rebuke of the Lord. Cherish it and just watch and see how you will be navigated out of paths of death, places of continual hassle and shame to paths of success, victory and great rejoicing.

Lay hold of the fact that His love for you transcends your love and care for yourself. Romans.8:37. Always remember that His love will keep you connected with His plan, purpose, design and intent for your life which will never change.

Rise up in the grace these words provide you and go out and have a conquering, victorious day in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit says to you today will you be drenched with life’s blessings? Then choose to be honest with yourself by recognising your weakness and inability to be good. Then purposefully surrender all your cares to Him for He cares for you. 1 Peter.5:7.

Recognise that only His grace is able to make you fruitful and productive.Ephesians.2:8 & 9. Give the Holy Spirit respectable time to speak to you then embrace the Holy Spirit’s instruction by being faithful to do as He says regardless of your fears, particular bent or concerns. 

Don’t worry about how that will make you look in peoples eyes but be drenched with life’s benefits which the Holy Spirit pointed out to me are as natural as the rain and snow falling to the Earth. Isaiah.55:10 & 11. They have been programmed by God to provide all that is necessary to cause plants to grow and produce fruit continually season after season.

 The Holy Spirit reminded me that He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians.1:3.  All we need to do is have them rain down on us daily on earth. 

We desperately need that flow of heavenly ability and strength to make us valuable and productive on earth which is where they are needed for our benefit. 

Jesus He reminded me came, died and was raised so that we could partake of all the heavenly blessings and experience life and that in its fullest measure in the now on earth. John.10:10.

The Holy Spirit reassured me that Jesus wants us above all to experience His blessings more than we know or want them in our life’s. John.17:24. He knows our needs and provided for them abundantly as a loving Father and we only need to position ourselves to receive them. 2 Peter.1:3 & 4. 

So today I beseech you to take this opportunity to drink in these words of life and receive the grace to partake of every spiritual blessing needed for your wellbeing today. Then watch how they will lift and raise you to the position of glory the Lord has apportioned for you to walk in. A glory that will magnify His mighty Name. John.15:8. 

Receive these blessings today in Jesus Name. Amen.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit today He pointed out to me the importance of looking at whose interests I was serving? In real terms whether I am serving the Master Jesus, family or business to my Boss.

I know it sounds very controlling from the perspective of the Holy Spirit? However we are told in James.4:5 these words: Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

He went on to say that most times we are just doing Christian things we have been taught by rote and are unconscious of the fact that we are no longer serving Jesus’s purpose.

He pointed out that we have just been drifting along in life hoping for the best unsure of our true spiritual bearings. The worst part is that we have been believing wrongly, convinced in ourselves that we are serving God’s purpose.

The Holy Spirit then instructed me to look at what are Jesus’ interests from a Kingdom perspective. John.2:16 & 17. Then ask myself the question: how do I match up with those goals in what I do daily.

In other words He was asking me to take stock of my actions. Isaiah.55:6-9. What are my priorities for each day? Does Work, family, school runs, which we need to do take priority over our service to and for Him.

Do we ask what He wants to achieve each day through our lives as opposed to requesting Him to help us achieve our plan for the day. Just meditate for a while on what the Apostle Peter says in 1 Peter.2:4 & 5.

Well if we want the Honour that comes from Him that is sweet and everlasting we are going to have to serve His purpose not ours because the flesh profits nothing. He spoke from Proverbs:27.18. Which reads: Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that it is the Spirit that gives life as recorded in John:6.63. Just a little drifting from serving the Lord causes life to become bitter and difficult easily He pointed out. Then once this happens we are quick to complain that things are not working but slow to admit we are not serving His interests.

This is why He is pointing out to me why to prioritize time with Him in the morning earlier to know His heart for the day. This is much more effective because through discernment we are able to avoid negative things and the places where not to go that we had planned that would be dangerous and cause us harm.

The interests of Jesus always give life because they never fail. John.10:10.

So my brethren take note of these words of caution and make all the necessary adjustments required to ensure you are daily serving Jesus’ interests and not yours.

Be open and sensitive to the Holy Spirit to be an answer for someone who needs lifting and needs to know God’s love today. Stop being in a rush for yourself and your needs. Be open to helping someone the Lord wants you to help and bless.

Stop making excuses and denying this reality to yourself, because the Lord knows your heart and the avoidance you are using as an excuse.

Be strong and take God’s action today and let the sweetness of Jesus be restored back to your life and relationship with Him.

May the grace in these words empower you to take action and watch how sweet your day will flow as the Holy Spirit is given His rightful place to reign in your life.

Have a glorious, fruitful and productive day in Jesus Name. Amen.
