A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 13/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

The Holy Spirit reminded me to share more of the revelation on the divine theme and calling of this ministry which is the raising of an Ensign Nation. That is a people the Lord has eternally purposed to display as His Royal Diadem on the earth.

This is not a new idea or a human concept, but a purpose spoken of and established by the Lord from the very beginning. To understand this calling, the Holy Spirit offers you greater clarity of what an Ensign truly means according to Scripture.

Biblically, an Ensign is defined as a sign and a signal. It is represented as a banner, a flag, a beacon, a mark, or visible evidence of something far greater than itself. In the Lord’s usage, an Ensign is a distinguishing mark, a banner lifted high, a memorial of divine intervention, a miraculous sign, and a visible standard around which others gather. It is proof of the Lord’s power, sovereignty, faithfulness, and presence made tangible in the earth.

When the Lord refers to people as an Ensign, whether an individual or a nation, as revealed in Isaiah 11 and Zechariah 9 He is speaking of those whom He lifts up, displays, and causes to shine from afar. These are people who become conspicuous, radiant, and unmistakable as beacons of divine light. They are not hidden but they are intentionally made visible as testimonies of God’s glory.

A crucial spiritual principle is revealed that for something to be lifted up, it must first have been brought low. So Ensigns are not formed in comfort but through surrender, adversity, and divine rescue. This truth anchors the understanding that the Lord often raises His greatest signs from places of obscurity, hardship, and seeming defeat.

An Ensign person or people become living, visible, and mobile signs and wonders on the earth. Their lives testify to the reality of God and they function as God’s standard-bearers, walking proof of His existence and active rule on the earth. Like lighthouses in the darkness, they shine for others to see, guiding many toward truth, hope, and salvation.

The Holy Spirit’s invitation is therefore issued clearly and prophetically to you to surrender your life fully to Jesus so that His nature, glory, and authority may be reflected through every sphere of your life. This is the pathway into becoming what the Lord intended for your life which is His royal display on the earth.

I declare in the name of Jesus that you are being raised as an Ensign of the Lord which is a living banner, a shining beacon, and a visible testimony of God’s glory and power. I decree that every season that brought you low is now giving way to a divine lifting, and you will shine conspicuously as the Lord’s royal display on the earth.

May your life become a rallying point for truth, a proof of the Lord’s faithfulness, and a sign and wonder that draws many to Jesus. As you surrender fully to Him, your life will reflect His light, His authority, and His beauty in every place He sends you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 12/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, a clear and comforting truth was revealed pointing to the reality that the Lord always invites His people to look to Him alone for a tailor-made plan that is a plan uniquely designed by Him to bring each life into the Lord’s appointed place of rest, where the promises of Jesus are fully manifested. This invitation carries the grace necessary for recovery. So no matter where one has missed the mark, there remains a pathway back if the heart turns again to the Lord in repentance.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that past experiences, suffering, failures, and disappointments do not cancel the Lord’s design. Regardless of where a person has been or what plans they attempted that failed, the Lord still holds a living, customized plan capable of leading us directly into His best purpose. This plan is not generic or delayed but it is precisely created to bring the believer back into the place of rest the Lord has already ordained.

The Holy Spirit further revealed that He possesses everything necessary to elevate and establish again those who yield to Him. This is the reality behind the truth in Romans.8:31 which reads that if God is for us, no force can successfully stand against us. Even when multiple circumstances appear hostile, the plans of the Holy Spirit override every scheme of the enemy. Victory is guaranteed when His plan is followed, because His purposes cannot fail.

Satan, by contrast, is limited to the natural realm. His strategies rely on the manipulation of events, people, and circumstances with the intent to deceive and accuse us. However, our continual surrender and submission to the Holy Spirit releases supernatural outcomes that transcend natural limitations, resulting in victories that silence the opposition and magnify the name of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit recalled a pivotal word He spoke to me in Abuja, Nigeria where He stated in a fierce assault from the enemy against me that theLord does not judge His people by the events they find themselves in, because events can be manipulated and entered into unknowingly. Instead, He judges the intent and purpose of the heart within those events. It is one’s heart response in the event including what one does in the situation that determines how the Lord’s judgment and intervention on our behalf works out. Job.38:2.

This revelation at that time brought deep comfort to me, empowering me to dismantle all the accusations being used by the enemy. Once the truth was received, all the condemnation of the enemy  lost its power, and the Lord’s redemptive plans began to unfold, that is, plans that led me out of the enemy’s traps and into the Lord’s ordained triumphant plans for my future.

The word reinforces a vital truth we must never forget that one word from the Lord can change the entire trajectory of a life in a single moment. Therefore, we as followers of Jesus are being urged by the Holy Spirit to pursue the Lord fervently for His plan, approaching Him in humility and repentance, and asking Him to reveal the way forward through His voice into our expected end.

With this truth in mind in order to benefit fully from the Lord’s living wisdom, intentional devoted time must be given to worship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Acts.13:1-3. This requires a willingness to change our beliefs, by recognizing that some long-held convictions may be rooted in deception rather than truth. So as our beliefs are correctly aligned with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, life begins to flow in consistent victory and triumph which is the Lord’s pathway for us.

With this word it is clear what the call is, which is to give the Holy Spirit full place in our hearts, by remaining teachable, and allowing Him the room and space to guide our every belief by the truth so that our decisions are all spiritually influenced by the Holy Spirit. In doing so we ensure that we walk continually in truth and experience the overcoming life Jesus has secured for us to live in on earth which is days of heaven on earth.

I declare in the name of Jesus that every failed plan, delayed promise, and misstep in your past is being overridden by the Holy Spirit’s tailor-made design for your life. I decree that you are being led into God’s appointed place of rest, where His promises will manifest fully and without struggle in your life.

I declare that every accusation against you is silenced, as every manipulation of the enemy is exposed, and every lie you believed is replaced with the truth. I proclaim that as you yield to the Holy Spirit, victory will mark every path you walk, and triumph will crown every season of your life going forward. I declare that your life will now testify that one word from the Lord changes everything in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. From Emile Luke. 11/1/2026.

Today I am sharing a revelation of the commission the Lord gave me about raising up Ensigns on the earth to represent His Image and likeness in both word and deed just as Jesus Himself did to be the banner and standard of truth on this earth.

Throughout Scripture, a consistent pattern is revealed in the lives of those the Lord raises up as Ensigns who become visible signs of His power, His faithfulness, and His redemptive ability. Every Ensign begins with a story that appears hopeless by human standards.

Their lives are marked by hardship, mistakes, failure, shattered dreams, and circumstances that declare them doomed, finished, or beyond help. Yet it is precisely in these impossible beginnings that Lord Himself intervenes and makes them trophies of grace, emblems of praise and a gem in His royal diadem.

The Lord steps into their lives through the Holy Spirit to rescue them from what He calls “waterless pits”, places of confinement with no natural source of life or escape in Zechariah.9:11. In rescuing them, He preserves them; in preserving them, He blesses them; and in blessing them, He equips them with divine strategies to rise out of trouble and move forward into greatness.

Along the way, He enriches them with innovation, invention, fresh ideas, and divine concepts, preparing them not only for personal victory but for impact upon nations and generations.

These individuals carry stories that provoke disbelief because their lives have been written off as impossible by men because of the struggle that faced them. Yet they become Ensigns precisely because they defy human expectations, triumph over limitations, and rise above everything that declared their end. Their greatness is not self-made but God-authored and God-completed.

A defining mark of every Ensign is their faithfulness and fidelity to the Lord when no one else is watching. When they are abandoned, overlooked, or misunderstood, they remain steadfast in union with the Lord.

They encounter Him personally, and they stand with Him through their fiercest tests, and refuse compromise concerning His word. Because of this unwavering allegiance, the Lord delights to call them His own and is unashamed to identify with them, as seen in the life of righteous Job, whom Lord Himself boasted about.

These Ensigns become trophies of grace, a living evidence of what the Lord can do through ordinary people. They are emblems of His praise, visible testimonies of His glory and grace, mobile displays of His divine power and mercy at work in human lives.

Zechariah 9 captures this journey vividly, portraying God’s people being lifted from the pit to the mountain, transformed into sparkling, precious gems set upon His royal crown. This passage reveals not only a great deliverance but an infallible identity of what God ultimately makes His Ensigns to be in Him.

The Lord is still searching today for young men and women from every nation, tribe, and tongue whom He can use in the same way. So the call to be an Ensign is still present and personal to anyone who hears this message and responds to it can be a candidate for such greatness.

Scripture confirms this pattern repeatedly in the life of many of the Lord’s faithful servants including Joseph, a slave and prisoner in Egypt, who rose to the position of governing Egypt and the nations because of his foresight in storing grain in the season of plenty which became the source of supply of nations during a seven year famine.

How about Daniel, a prisoner of war in Babylon, who stood faithful to his covenant with the Lord and through miraculous deliverances and events involving the supernatural revelation from the Lord influenced empires and became the standard in the life of five kings.

How about Moses, the man born while the Nation was in bondage to Egypt who killed all male babies born to Hebrews, who was raised in the house of Pharaoh and adopted to be the heir to the throne, who fled because he killed an Egyptian and was hidden in the wilderness minding sheep over forty years, who became a deliverer of Israel when the Lord met him and sent him back to Egypt to bring His people out.

What of Samuel and John the Baptist, who were born to barren women, and were raised as prophetic voices and became the banner and standard of the voice of God in their generation. Even a nameless slave girl in the house of Naaman the Syrian became a key instrument of healing for Naaman the leper, declaring that there was a living God in Israel who could deliver.

All these Ensigns were no different in nature from us listening to the Lord today. Their stories are preserved not to be admired from a distance but for us to recognize ourselves within them and become a banner of light as they became by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The assignment from the Lord to us is clear, which is for us to return to these accounts, and see our own reflection in their journeys, and believe with conviction that the same Lord who worked for them can do it again and again in our individual lives.

This is because the same God who worked then is unchanged as Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So there is no reason to doubt because what He has done before, He is able and willing to do again.

I declare in the name of Jesus that every sentence of impossibility spoken over your life is overturned by the power of the Holy Spirit. I decree that through this word you are being lifted from the pit and set upon the mountain of divine purpose and progress.

I declare that the Lord is preserving you, blessing you, and endowing you with all the wisdom, strategy, and innovation to impact your generation in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day10/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

In my communion with the Holy Spirit, a searching question was raised concerning how we value our lives and the standard by which we measure success or failure . The Holy Spirit made it clear that followers of Jesus must never evaluate life by the world’s measuring line using its systems of status, achievement, possession, and recognition because doing so subjects the heart to the corruption that flows from worldly lusts. Life must never be lived for what fades, decays, and passes away which is motivated by lust.

This truth is firmly established in 1 John 2:15–17, where the apostle John warns believers not to love the world or the things in it. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life are not from the Father but from the world, and the world with its desires is passing away. Only those who do the will of God will abide forever. These words invite us to take a sober self-examination to locate where do our affections truly lie as followers of Jesus?

The Holy Spirit always faithfully brings us the followers of Jesus to moments of honest realization, by revealing the true condition of the heart in all matters of life so repentance and surrender can take place. The Holy Spirit never forces a choice between Jesus and the world but clearly presents the truth, by showing us both the immediate attraction and the eventual outcome of each path. He always urges us to take the path of life, by helping us consider the end of a matter at the beginning so our decisions are made with eternal clarity.

Jesus Himself taught how worldly values choke out spiritual fruitfulness in Mark 4:18–20, when explaining the parable of the sower. The cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and desires for other things enter the heart and suffocate the Word, rendering it unfruitful. This reveals how pressure from the world subtly persuades the heart to exchange truth for lies, promising desirable benefits while quietly robbing the life out of us.

For this reason, the Holy Spirit calls us as followers of Jesus to periodically examine their heart’s pursuits, ensuring that worldly ambition has not crept into their walk with God and replaced the pursuit of pleasing Jesus. This moment is a fresh invitation to return to purity of desire and a true realignment of purpose.

The value system of the Lord is further revealed in Proverbs 8:10–11, where wisdom declares that correction and revelation-knowledge are more valuable than silver, gold, or the finest jewels. As followers of Jesus we  are being challenged to ask ourselves honestly whether we truly believe this in our hearts. Though gold grants financial advantage in the world’s system, wisdom who is Jesus personified is of infinitely greater worth and leads to life that cannot be lost.

The Holy Spirit is calling for authenticity before the Lord, and not self-deception. True deliverance only comes through an honest admission of hidden weaknesses, leading to heart felt repentance, and surrender to the will of Jesus. Recognizing our personal fragility allows the Holy Spirit to impart God’s pure heart and sustain a life lived by grace rather than self-effort or bravado.

A powerful example of this value shift is found in Acts 4:31–36, where the early church, when filled with the Holy Spirit and the impartation of great grace, became of one heart and soul. This led to the place where their earthly possessions no longer defined them as ownership gave way to stewardship.

Lands and houses were sold, to meet the needs of the brethren and revoke poverty from their midst , thus allowing the witness of Jesus to flourish with greater power. As worldly status diminished, spiritual reality increased as their hearts were captivated not by recognition or position, but by the movement of the Holy Spirit and the advance of God’s Kingdom on the earth as life’s standard.

The Holy Spirit invites you through this word with a call to return to the true evaluation of life where you value wisdom above riches, obedience to Jesus above status, and pursuing eternal purpose above temporary gain. It is an invitation to allow Jesus once again to become first priority in your life, to free the heart from earthly pursuits that choke divine purpose, and to live your life fully aligned with the plan of God through the work of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen

I declare in the name of Jesus that your heart through this word is realigned to the Lord’s eternal values. So that every affection for what fades is broken off your hearts, and every pursuit that chokes the Word is removed. I declare that wisdom who is Jesus Himself becomes your highest treasure of life. I declare that the Holy Spirit floods your life with great grace, by opening your eyes to knowing the truth and restoring your God-centered vision.

I declare that worldly ambition loses its grip over your heart’s affection, and divine purpose takes its rightful place of supremacy in your pursuits. I decree that your life bears lasting fruit, as your pursuits are purified, and your devotion to pleasing Jesus starts to define your days as you abide forever in the will of God, by walking in freedom, clarity, and power, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 9/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, a vital reminder was given to me concerning the divine parameters God has established to protect His people. These boundaries exist so that the enemy does not unlawfully break through our spiritual hedge, to assault our lives, hinder our forward movement, and rob us of the new thing the Holy Spirit has set before us to walk in and enjoy.

From the beginning of a walk with the Lord, the Holy Spirit teaches us systematically concerning the necessity of personal spiritual warfare not as an option, but as a priority. This is because everything the Lord speaks and entrusts to us must be guarded.

Life on earth will always present challenges, and we as followers of Jesus must develop a strong spiritual backbone and resolve to stand firm, resist the devil, and overcome all obstacles through the authority of Jesus Christ, who Himself trains us to conquer and overcome every obstacle. These words are released today to revive your spirit, awaken your firm resolve, and empower your decisive action to declare, “No more devil you will not rob me this time.”

The Holy Spirit highlighted  this foundational truth that the Lord has clearly defined what is permitted and what is illegal against the righteous on this earth. Understanding these parameters is important for us to know in our inner person. This truth is anchored in Proverbs 12:21, which declares that calamity is not permitted to overwhelm the righteous, while trouble awaits the wicked. This means that calamity has no divine permission to dominate or overtake the life of one who is righteous in God.

I know that this statement raises an important question: if calamity is not permitted, why does it continually attempt to overwhelm the righteous? The Holy Spirit explained that what is decreed in heaven can still be challenged on earth.

Just as a legal ruling can go against someone who fails to appear in court to defend themselves, in like manner spiritual outcomes can be altered when believers fail to stand on their covenant rights. Knowing what has been given to you and using it skilfully, by understanding one’s authority, and actively enforcing God’s Word are essential to constantly overcome the schemes and deceptions of the enemy.

Isaiah.54:17 confirms this principle in the promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against us in judgment we shall condemn. This is declared to be the heritage of the servants of the Lord, whose righteousness is of Him.

The Word does not say that weapons will not be formed, they certainly will be, but they must be condemned by us so they do not prosper. What is not confronted and rejected will eventually condemn the believer who allows it to remain unchallenged.

The Holy Spirit then pointed to the example of Job, a righteous man whom the Lord Himself commended. When Job was viciously attacked by satan, the enemy sought to destroy him and discredit his righteousness. However, during the assault, Job’s words, mindset, and uncertainty about his covenant opened the door wider for devastation. By agreeing with fear, self-cursing, and lies, he unintentionally empowered the enemy.

Yet when correction came through his young friend Elihu and ultimately through God Himself. As Job regained clarity about who the Lord was and His greatness and who he was in covenant with, from that very moment, the tide turned. Job was restored twice as much as he had before, was granted a long life, and lived securely for generations, having learned the parameters of divine protection and how to repel future attacks.

In the same way, we as followers of Jesus must understand our covenant boundaries and actively fight back when the enemy seeks to harass, intimidate, or steal what the Lord has apportioned as our inheritance. This truth is reinforced in the temptation of Jesus in Luke.4 After the Father declared, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” satan attempted to undermine Jesus’ identity by saying, “If You are the Son of God…” Jesus did not debate, doubt, or defend Himself emotionally. He responded with authority: “It is written.” Because Jesus refused to agree with lies and stood firmly on God’s Word, the enemy had no choice but to retreat.

The Holy Spirit emphasized in my dialogue with Him that calamity has no permission to overwhelm the righteous, because our righteousness is not self-generated but is of the Lord. Therefore, as followers of Jesus we must rise and command calamity in every form to depart, along with all its effects.

In its place, the life of the follower is to be overwhelmed by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, producing freedom from oppression and manifesting God’s goodness through signs, wonders, miracles, peace, joy, and visible evidence of the Lord’s hand at work.

This word is a call to rise in God-given strength, to reclaim peace and joy, to restore fruitful results, and stand firmly in our identity in Christ knowing whose you are, to whom you belong, and what Lord permits to happen in your life on earth. The Lord does not allow calamity to dominate the righteous, and when that truth is enforced, the enemy must flee in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare in the name of Jesus that calamity has no permission to overwhelm your life, therefore every illegal attack, every lying weapon, and every harassing voice of the enemy is condemned and rendered powerless. I declare that you arise today in covenant authority, fully aware of who you are and whose you are to experience your peace, joy, and God-ordained progress being fully restored.

The hedge of the Lord’s protection around your life is strengthened, and the presence of the Holy Spirit overwhelms every space once occupied by oppression. I declare that signs, wonders, and miracles happening will testify of the Lord’s hand upon you. I decree that the enemy flees, and your inheritance is secured, and the Lord’s promises fulfilled become your daily reward. Calamity, your days are over and promises fulfilled are my portion from now and always in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 8/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit, a profound declaration was released saying: “Behold, I do a new thing.”I have come to understand that whenever the Lord announces a new thing, it signals the initiation of a divine act that surpasses our past experiences, human imagination, and natural limitations. It marks a fresh beginning. One that becomes a living testimony to the greatness of the name of Jesus and produces a story of glory that arrests attention, astonishes observers, and draws many into the Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit anchored this truth as recorded in Isaiah 42:9, where the Lord declares new things I do before they spring forth. When the Lord is ready to change a long-standing narrative, He announces His intent ahead of time to those who walk closely with Him. He does this because He does not want His people unaware or unprepared for the blessings He has ordained for a specific season.

This reality with the Lord is further confirmed in Amos 3:7, which reveals that the Lord does nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants. Therefore, when the Holy Spirit announces a new thing, it signals the arrival of a divinely orchestrated miracle that is something beyond human precedent. It always aligns with the promise in 1 Corinthians.2:9 that reads “no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

The Holy Spirit has been intentionally preparing our hearts for this moment by emphasizing the necessity of guarding our hearts with all diligence, especially at the beginning of this New Year. This guarding of our hearts is vital so that distractions, past wounds, or divided affections do not prevent His followers from recognizing, receiving, and fully reaping the harvests set before them in this present season.

To illustrate the nature of the “new thing,” the Holy Spirit directed my attention to the account of Lazarus in John 11:3–6. In this event although Jesus deeply loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, He did not respond immediately to their request for his healing because healing would have been the expected and familiar outcome, as Jesus had healed many before.

Instead, Jesus delayed coming to Lazarus intentionally allowing Lazarus to die and remain in the grave for four days. This delay was not a neglect of His duty of love towards them, but it was a divine strategy.

Jesus orchestrated this moment in obedience to His Father to reveal Himself not merely as a healer, but as the Resurrection and the Life by demonstrating power that defied natural law and human finality. Raising Lazarus after burial was unprecedented.

Though Jesus had previously raised the dead before, this was the first instance of calling someone forth out of the grave after decomposition had begun. This new thing/act of Jesus produced irrefutable proof of Jesus’ authority over death and became a living testimony that could not be silenced.

The impact of this new thing being raised from the grave is revealed in John 12:9–11 where Lazarus himself became a walking sign and wonder. People came not only to see Jesus, but to see Lazarus who was the evidence of resurrection power. Because of this miracle, many people believed in Jesus and chose to follow Him, while the opposition to His power intensified to the point that religious leaders sought to kill Lazarus in an attempt to stop the spread of the testimony.

This reveals a key truth that a genuine new thing from the Lord always continues to bear fruit long after the initial miracle, and it provokes both faith in seekers and greater resistance from the adversaries.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that this is the same pattern for the new thing He is about to release now with something never seen before, something that changes personal history, public positioning, and multiplies Kingdom impact. Just as the miracle at Martha and Mary’s house elevated their family’s visibility and influence in Israel, so the Lord desires to bring those who serve Him into a new dimension of testimony, authority, and spiritual positioning that manifest the greater glory.

The Holy Spirit made it clear that participation in the new thing requires the preparation of the heart to embrace greater dimensions of glory. As seen in Martha’s hesitation in John.11 when Jesus commanded the stone to be rolled away, fear, logic, and past understanding can resist divine instruction. Yet Jesus gently corrected her, reminding her that belief precedes manifestation: “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Grace is given to align faith with obedience so that the glory of God may be fully revealed and celebrated.

The Holy Spirit is calling for the followers of Jesus to walk more circumspectly, by remaining all the more expectant, and positioning themselves in faith, just as Martha ultimately did so that you may not only witness the new thing, but live in its ongoing fruit and transformation playing out in your lives.

I declare in the name of Jesus that you are positioned for the new thing the Lord has declared over your life and every old narrative is broken, every limitation is silenced, and every delay of harvest is redeemed by divine purpose. I declare that your heart is prepared, your faith is aligned, and your spirit is alert to recognize and receive what the Lord is about to unveil.

I declare that you will witness what you have never seen before of the hand of the Lord and testify to what cannot be denied, and carry a living proof miracle of Jesus the Resurrection and Life. The glory of God will be revealed through you, and your story of glory will draw many to Jesus, and no opposition will be able to stop the fruit that follows. This new thing the Lord accomplishes will change your life’s story permanently, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 7/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit, further instruction was given to me concerning the ongoing discipline and reality of guarding the heart with all diligence. This deeper insight is not merely preventative but also practical, designed specifically to reshape thought patterns and responses of the heart so that we as followers of Jesus can move away from judgment, prejudice, emotional reaction, and personal expectations to instead walk in pure obedience to the Lord’s pattern given by the Holy Spirit to our hearts.

The scriptural foundation for this aspect of guarding our hearts is drawn first from John 2:23–25, where many people believed in Jesus because of the miracles He performed. Yet  we see that Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew what was in man. This reveals a critical truth that miraculous power and apparent belief after results do not automatically qualify a person for total heart-commitment to the ways of the Lord.

Let us remember that Jesus’ miracles were never motivated by a desire for popularity, affirmation, or loyalty from people. His actions flowed entirely from obedience to the Father’s will. As confirmed in John 5:30 (The Passion Translation), Jesus acted only as He heard the Father, sought only the Father’s agenda, and rendered judgment that was free from self-interest.

Because Jesus had no hidden agenda, unmet expectation, or emotional dependency on people’s responses, His heart remained unwounded and secure. His satisfaction came from obedience and not from gratitude, faithfulness, or the affirmation from those He served with goodness from the Father.

This desire for human approval and adulation reveals where many believers fail to guard their hearts because we expect people to respond righteously to the good we do for them. When people express gratitude or make promises, we assume faithfulness and prematurely commit our hearts, time, prayers, and resources, without first consulting the Lord about them.

When those people later act selfishly, unfaithfully, or disappear, offense sets in and that offense often turns inward toward the Lord, leading to bitterness, loss of spiritual position, diminished fruitfulness, and weakened communion with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit taught a very necessary corrective word not to ever respond emotionally to people’s words or reactions no matter how great the miracle the Lord did for them through your life. All humans desire the miracle that can change their present circumstances but are unwilling to live in covenant obedience to the Lord and what that requires of them.

Some will even betray or harm you if it serves their next desire to materialize. This is why the heart must only be committed to those whom the Holy Spirit identifies as committed to Him, and not merely to those who benefit from your obedience.

A testimony from some ministry time in Botswana illustrates this truth clearly where One lady, though forcefully outwardly was attempting to defend my boundaries of ministry time and appearing seemingly considerate, produced no lasting fruit or blessing to my life except to take everything for her life, business and family.

However, another lady I had never met, whom the Holy Spirit instructed me to minister to despite the inconvenience and pressure, became a true blessing to life, ministry, and destiny over many years. This situation underscores a vital principle that wealth, appearance, or nice words do not determine spiritual alignment with the Lord’s purpose but only what the Holy Spirit says and does which we obey determines the God ordained outcome.

This is further confirmed in John 6:64–66, where many disciples abandoned Jesus when further discipleship became more demanding of the intents and purposes of each individual’s heart. Though they followed Jesus for a season, Jesus had not committed His heart to them, because the Father had not drawn them to Him. Their attraction was to the  miracles He performed and the momentum He was building, not to love for truth and surrender to its way forward.

The Holy Spirit warns us today just as Jesus always did to guard our hearts against committing prematurely to people’s success, projects, or spiritual journeys without discerning what spirit they carry. 1 John.4:1-3. Some are sent by God others are sent to infiltrate, distract, drain, and poison what God has cleansed. Remember that eagerness to learn or proximity to spiritual activity does not equal divine sending.

There is the sobering example of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8 which points to the fact that though Simon believed, was then baptized, and followed Philip closely, he attached himself to a man rather than submitting to the Lord. Unlike the others in Samaria who received life and freedom, Simon remained bound. Peter exposed the true condition of his heart in Acts 8:20–23 revealing that he had a heart that was crooked, bitter, and still enslaved to sin, despite his outward enthusiasm and spiritual proximity to Philip.

This example stands as a warning to us to discern those who attach to us rather than submit to the Lord and often seek to drain us rather than be built up. Excitement, attention, and apparent hunger for spiritual things must never replace Holy Spirit-led discernment.

May the Holy Spirit through this word cause you to fiercely guard your hearts by correctly weighing all relationships and opportunities by the discernment of the Holy Spirit. May your heart refuse premature emotional or spiritual commitment that leads to loss, pain, and diminished harvest in the name of Jesus. In doing so you will preserve your peace, freedom, fruitfulness, and alignment with the Lord’s purpose for you in this season to accomplish your prescribed destiny in Christ in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your heart is strengthened, secured, and guarded by the might of the Holy Spirit. So every trap of premature commitment, emotional manipulation, and spiritual infiltration is exposed and dismantled from affecting your spiritual growth. You will not walk with a Simon, nor have your heart attached to what drains out your life and progress.

I declare that spiritual discernment will rise within you, causing clarity to govern your decisions, and continued peace becomes your daily portion. Your heart will walk free from the unconscionable expectation of people, with your service being free from offense, and your heart fully aligned with the Father’s will.

I declare that you will walk in fruitfulness, freedom, and divine order, by preserving the harvest the Lord has entrusted to you. Your destiny will not be robbed, and the Lord’s best will no longer be impossible to you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 5/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

The Holy Spirit spoke about the importance of us adopting a renewed mindset that should become the framework of our pursuit of the Lord. In this season, our spiritual conduct must be found blameless before the Lord, so that we do not miss our divine timeframes or experience unnecessary delays that could have been avoided through simple obedience.

Often, it is the small adjustments in our actions, words, attitudes, and responses to obstacles that would have preserved our momentum in God if only we heeded. However it is the high things that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God that must be confronted and brought into submission, so we can fully enjoy our inheritance in Christ and experience the miraculous realities that testify to the fact that we belong to Him.

On this fifth morning of the New Year in this new season of life, the Holy Spirit clearly revealed both what we are to expect and how we must conduct ourselves in order to walk in what He has assigned for us to accomplish to glorify the name of Jesus. Over time, it has become evident through infallible proofs that before the Lord fulfils His promises, He requires a season of preparation in our lives to incorporate His glory working in our lives . This preparation season is not optional, but it is essential for our spiritual development.

It is a time to be used wisely to ground ourselves deeply in the heart and mind of God by continually meditating on His Word, confessing His truth, worshiping Him more intentionally, and demonstrating through our devotion to Him how vital it is for us to remain closely connected to Him in all things so His power and Presence can flow freely through us.

This season is also an invitation into a deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit to more fully understand and comprehend His role in our processing correctly His instructions which enables us to yield fully to His commands.

Thus through our willing surrender and obedience, we fully align ourselves with His working in our hearts to will and to do for His good pleasure as we position ourselves for the full manifestation of the glory of Jesus in our lives.

Genesis 17:1 reveals the Lord’s instruction to Abraham when He says to him “I am Almighty God now walk before Me and be blameless.” The Apostle Paul teaches us in Galatians.3:13 that the blessing of Abraham belongs to all who call upon the name of the Lord, thus making Abraham the father of our faith. Therefore, the path Abraham walked to receive the promise is the same path we as His followers must walk today to have the same results.

Isaiah 51:1–2 further confirms this truth, by calling all who follow righteousness to look to Abraham and Sarah as the pattern for those whom the Lord called, blessed, and increased. Abraham’s obedience culminated in the manifestation of Isaac, the promised inheritance to him from the Lord.

When the time for fulfilment arrived, the Lord revealed Himself to Abraham in a new way as Almighty God, requiring a higher standard of walk from Abraham to manifest the inheritance. With an increased level of revelation came an increased responsibility to steward it which is a principle Jesus later affirmed when He stated that more is required where more is given.

The Lord was not demanding perfection from Abraham, but blamelessness from Abraham which is a life free from accusation in intent, motive, and obedience. Abraham could no longer walk casually regarding his conduct concerning the Lord’s promise.

His conduct had to be deliberate, faithful, and pleasing to God in word and deed. Past missteps, such as the decision involving Hagar, could not be repeated, as such compromises pollute the household and give room to the enemy.

It is accurate to say the Holy Spirit indicated that in the season when promises are about to manifest that vigilance and accurate discernment is most required because blatant temptations intensify, compromises present themselves attractively, and fake opportunities arise that seek to draw the follower of Jesus away from the path of righteousness.

Yet our remaining faithful and obedient regardless of the pressure of the enemy is essential to us proceeding to inherit the promise.

The Holy Spirit is our foremost Helper in this process so the more we surrender our hearts to Him, the more strength, resilience, and grace we receive to remain steadfast without compromise. When we acknowledge our weakness and human frailty, His strength overtakes our limitations, enabling us to go beyond ourselves into His unlimited power which makes us emerge victorious and triumphant out of impossible situations.

This moment of time is an auspicious season which requires much more intentional closeness to the Lord and deeper sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Through this word abundant grace is being supplied to walk worthy of the Lord and fully pleasing to Him, so that long delayed promises will no longer be withheld due to blame or any behavioural pattern that permits disqualification from receiving the promise.

This is a new season, and through the grace released in these words, you are now empowered to remain alert to righteousness, by walking blamelessly before the Lord, to secure your God-ordained inheritance, just as Abraham and Sarah did when Isaac was born. Just as laughter, joy, and an undeniable proof of God’s faithfulness filled their house, so that same manifestation is the Lord’s desire for you to inherit now in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare in the name of Jesus that you are entering a new season of the divine manifestation of the fulfilled promise as grace is released upon you to walk blamelessly before the Lord, alert to righteousness and steadfast in obedience. I declare that every delay caused by compromise, carelessness, or missed alignment is broken in Jesus name.

I declare that you will not miss your appointed time because the Holy Spirit will strengthen you, and guard you from temptation, by empowering you to remain faithful as the promise comes into view.

I declare that just like Abraham and Sarah, you will experience laughter, joy, and the unmistakable proof of God’s Almighty power at work in your life. I declare that your inheritance is secured, because your season has arrived, and the glory of the Lord will be revealed through you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 6/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, a clear and urgent reminder was given concerning the critical importance of guarding the heart, especially at this time when many are being pressured to commit emotionally, spiritually, or practically to people and events that carry the potential of robbing you of the season of fruitfulness set before you.

The Holy Spirit is calling for a spiritual pause, a deliberate step back to reassess such commitments and then to lean fully on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is an act of mercy, intended to spare the followers of Jesus from unnecessary pain, disappointment, offense, and the betrayal of trust that often arises from the unfaithfulness of men.

The Holy Spirit emphasized that guarding the heart is a primary responsibility to steward faithfully our relationship with the Lord as revealed in Proverbs 4:23, which reads these words “Above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are… for from there flows the wellspring of life.”

The condition and direction of the heart determine the course of life itself. So no matter how many instructions the Lord gives, it is the state of the heart that governs whether those instructions will be obeyed and fulfilled. This points to the reality that victory in God is therefore inseparably linked to the protection of the heart.

The Holy Spirit highlighted the high level of security placed around earthly leaders to protect them from harm and said this same diligence must be applied by Jesus’s followers to their hearts, because the heart determines the direction we will follow.

The consequences of life, whether life-giving and productive or destructive, flow directly from where the heart is centred. For this reason, the heart must be protected from deception, emotional over commitment, disregard for discernment, and premature loyalty to people or causes.

Jesus Himself modelled this principle in John 2:23–25, where although many believed in Jesus because of the signs He performed, Jesus “did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” He withheld the commitment of His heart to their projects because He understood human motives and instability concerning truth.

Likewise, in Luke 12:13–34, when Jesus was asked to arbitrate an inheritance dispute, Jesus refused to grant him his desire, discerning that greed and not righteousness was at the root of the request. Jesus would not commit His heart or authority where the foundation was misaligned.

In contrast, Jesus fully committed Himself only to those He chose under the supervision of the Holy Spirit who followed Him. Throughout Scripture, Jesus never accepted self-appointed followers, nor did He commit Himself to those who volunteered their loyalty.

He chose His disciples deliberately, then committed fully His heart to them, nurtured them, and never abandoned them. This establishes a vital truth that love is not an indiscriminate commitment with no constraint or boundaries but it requires a heart-commitment to be Spirit-led, and not just be emotionally driven.

I had a personal testimony of this reality which finally reinforced this truth that the Holy Spirit highlighted to me concerning individuals who appeared faithful and generous in intention and action who I misunderstood as faithfulness to the point where when the Holy Spirit asked me if I would trust them with a million I answered in the affirmative because they they proved faithful in the little they had. So in line with the word those who are faithful in little will be faithful in much which Jesus Himself said.

I went on to commit to their prosperity with heartfelt commitment and prayer for increased provision. Yet when abundance arrived, they withdrew and deserted me using the resources to sin. This painful lesson revealed how easily the enemy attempts to gain access to the heart through seemingly good intentions and spiritual enthusiasm which is a cover for evil heart intentions.

Even now, such attempts continue from people for my commitment to their projects, and it still requires constant vigilance and obedience to the Holy Spirit’s restraint when He says, “Do not commit.”

The Holy Spirit further emphasized that even with those chosen by Him, the heart must still remain primarily committed to the Lord, and not blindly attached to the words, promises, or appearances of the people’s conduct. The ultimate safeguard is an unwavering heart-commitment to the Lord and His plan, which ensures continual access to the wellspring of life that He alone provides.

The call still remains concerning guarding our hearts so it is time to invite the Holy Spirit to examine all our existing heart commitments to reveal which ones must be exited, which ones need repositioning, which ones require clear boundaries, and which ones must be fully released and walked away from entirely.

Your repentance is necessary to deal with issues where the heart was given too easily to wrong commitments, and restoration is promised for all the pain, loss, shame, and fruitlessness resulting from misaligned commitment.

This is a beautiful happening as the heart is recovered by the hand of the Lord, so too is your fruitfulness, freedom, and life blessing. This is a season of heart discovery, where guarding the heart with all diligence leads to renewed liberty, clarity, and alignment with God’s purposes at the outset of the year.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your heart is being recovered, restored, and realigned by the Holy Spirit to serve the purpose of Jesus for your life. I declare that every ungodly attachment, misplaced loyalty, and draining commitment is being exposed and dismantled from your life. You will not lose your season of fruitfulness as your discernment is sharpened, all deception is broken off, and offense will no longer take root in you.

I declare that the wellspring of life will flow freely again through you as your heart is secured in the will of the Lord alone as shame, pain, and the loss caused by premature commitment are healed, and fruitfulness is restored back in your life in Jesus name. You will walk forward with your heart guarded, free, discerning, and fruitful, fully aligned with the plan of the Holy Spirit for your life in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 4/1/2026. From Emile Luke.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He revisited the foundational lessons that radically transformed my walk of faith, thus producing much greater spiritual precision, discernment, and a consistent walk of triumph over the enemy. These truths are released to you in the name of Jesus as a catalyst of imparted grace to confront the lie that says “this year will be no different,” and to reposition you out of predictable places of defeat,  into the hidden glory of the Lord, where the enemy can no longer locate or exploit you.

The Holy Spirit speaks clearly to you saying do not fear bringing your weaknesses to Him so He can replace them with His faith thus making you the voice of Jesus on earth. The enemy always studies and exploits unresolved weaknesses, then repeatedly overcomes believers in the areas that have not been surrendered to the Lord. While using those weaknesses covered by superficial religious language or scripture quoting with no inward transformation. However true victory does not come from the appearance of strength, but from our honest surrender of our weaknesses.

The good news is that when weakness is surrendered to the Lord, it becomes the very doorway through which His strength operates. Surrender positions the believer safely in the hand of the Lord, the only place of true security. Like David, who chose to fall into God’s hand rather than man’s, believers are reminded never to fear honest conversation with the Holy Spirit about their weaknesses. He already knows our every weakness so our confession and repentance are for our freedom, not God’s awareness as ownership of our weakness invites divine solution.

The Holy Spirit illustrated this through a personal lesson I learnt regarding the praise of men just when I started ministering to people years ago when the Holy Spirit asked me what I would do when people are adulating me and giving me praise. Though initially unseen to me, because of my present devotion to the Lord I told Him that He knew me and that I would never move on the grounds of peoples praises because at that time I was only ministering to a few people.

The Holy Spirit who knows the future was preparing my heart in advance for the seasons of visibility and human affirmation fully aware that human praise, if unchecked, can dull spiritual hearing and subtly shift dependence away from God. The revelation was clear over the years of me experiencing how the praise of men could vanish as quickly as it came with no sign of the men praising remaining. This is because any fruit borne is God’s work alone, and the vessel carries no personal credit. This understanding guards us in walking in humility and preserves our clarity of hearing the voice of the Lord.

Through this process emerged a deep realization in myself that no good thing dwells in me apart from what grace the Lord supplies me, and solidified the reality that my daily dependence on Him is essential to keeping connected to the vine. John.15:5-8. This way our weakness is not denied but presented daily to the Lord so His strength may prevail in our lives. This pattern mirrors the life of Jesus Himself, who declared in John 5:30, “I can of Myself do nothing but only what I see the Father do. I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” If Jesus the Son chose total dependence on the Father, how much more must His disciples do the same.

Understand this reality that recognizing your personal limitation is not the sign of defeat but rather it is the gateway to divine strength and grace. This is a daily discipline we must build into our lives because it is not a one-time decision because walking away from it results in spiritual decline, just as Jesus taught, the flesh profits nothing. John.6:63.  No matter how impressive fleshly achievements may appear, they produce no lasting profit. Everything birthed in the Holy Spirit, however, yields true productivity and lasting gain.

The Holy Spirit finally highlighted this powerful truth that every instruction the Lord gives us is designed for our benefit and not His. He pointed out that prayer to the Lord yields us miraculous answers. Our giving in obedience to Luke.6:38 results in an abundant return of resources in our lives.

Our fasting releases breakthroughs in our lives and the lives of others and our delighting in the Lord lifts us to spiritual heights to where we are experiencing the magnitude of the Lord’s ability working in and through our lives. Our praising the Lord scatters our enemies just as our worshipping Him brings joy, victory, and supernatural solutions for our lives. God lacks nothing so our obedience to Him always positions us to receive everything He has.

The Holy Spirit is exhorting you today to surrender both your weaknesses and strengths to Him thus granting the Lord full governance over your lives. When this happens, which it will, the enemy will no longer encounter you in vulnerable places of fear, but he will be confronted by the Lord Himself fighting through you causing fear, retreat, and defeat to the enemy who was chasing you.

So rise up in the grace flowing from these words because this is the hour for your life to reflect the glory of Jesus on the earth, as you rise out of concealment and shine with His divine radiance, fully equipped for every good work assigned by Lord for you to accomplish on earth in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your weaknesses through this word are no longer points of defeat against you but gateways for divine strength to overcome. As you surrender fully to the Lord, His power replaces all your human frailty and His glory covers your life. I declare that from today the enemy will no longer find you in familiar places of vulnerability, for you are hidden in the strength and glory of the Lord.

In the name of Jesus you will walk circumspectly, discern accurately, and triumph consistently in all things that pertain to your life and godliness. I declare that your life will become profitable, productive, and radiant with the glory of Christ. I command you to arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you so satan will see not you in vulnerable places again, but the Lord fighting for you and through you In Jesus’ mighty Name to triumph in all things to the glory of Jesus’s name. Amen.
