A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 27/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing Part two of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on becoming more sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit.

We must remember that Jesus repeatedly rebuked His disciples for their spiritual insensitivity because it hindered them from following the path He had prepared for them. When we fail to recognise what is happening spiritually or ignore the Lord’s instructions, we become vulnerable to taking a path of error rather than the path the Lord intends for us.

In Mark.14:41, we read these words: “Then He came the third time and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.’” Jesus had been engaged in intense prayer while His core disciples slept. They failed to remain alert during a critical moment when Jesus was preparing for His betrayal and the suffering that lay ahead.

Their lack of alertness meant that they were not fully recognising the spiritual seriousness of the moment or the battle unfolding around them. The intensity of Jesus’ prayer is also described in the account of His agony in Luke.22:41–46. While Jesus was yielding Himself to the Father’s will, His disciples were unable to remain watchful with Him.

Their sleeping was more than a mere physical failure to stay awake, but it illustrated to us the danger of how spiritual insensitivity can leave us unprepared for a decisive moment in life. While the Lord is directing us to remain alert, pray, and stand with Him, we may become distracted or complacent and fail to recognise the significance of what is happening in the present moment that can alter our progress in life.

When we are spiritually insensitive, we can fail to recognise the pressure, temptation, and spiritual opposition confronting us and just fall apart at the time we should be most vigilant to resist the enemy. It is at these moments of weakness that we may then make the wrong choices that distance us from the Lord’s direction without us even realising the seriousness of our decisions.

This is why we must cultivate the habit of operating in spiritual alertness, prayerfulness, and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit, because we cannot afford to be spiritually asleep when the Lord is calling us to watch, pray, obey, and stand firm. Through my experience with the Holy Spirit, I have realised that an error of judgement is one of the most dangerous paths we can ever take.

Error I have come to understand and see over the years how it leads us away from truth, and when we keep continuing along that path, it can create the chains of the enemy that bind us and hinder our progress in the purposes of the Lord. We must never assume that our every desire, opportunity, thought, or decision is right simply because it appears attractive or reasonable to us.

Our natural understanding will always fail us, and so when we make our decisions without discerning the Holy Spirit’s direction, we will enter adverse situations that then take us away from the Lord’s will and divine path for our lives.

The warning Jesus gave Peter reveals to us how serious this matter can be. In Luke.22:31 & 32, we read these words: “And the Lord said, ‘Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.’”

Jesus warned Peter that satan desired to sift him as wheat. However Jesus said He had prayed for Peter so that his faith would not fail, and He spoke of Peter’s return and future responsibility to strengthen his brethren. This passage reminds us that we must never treat spiritual danger casually. We have been taught by Jesus the importance of submitting to the Lord’s help in order to recognise where we are vulnerable, which empowers us to remain steadfast in faith, and to return to Him speedily when we have strayed from the right path.

The Lord’s words to Peter also show us that a wrong turn does not have to be the end of our journey, because if we respond promptly to His correction, by returning to Him through repentance, and allow Him to restore us back to the place where we can continue fulfilling His purposes. Therefore the main lesson for us is that we should never ignore the Holy Spirit’s warnings.

We are not to allow any worldly desires, personal ambitions, pressure from others, or the attraction of seemingly favourable opportunities to persuade us to compromise on the truth. The cost of ignoring the Holy Spirit’s direction may be far greater than we realise, involving cycles of pain and unnecessary tangents and crooked winding paths that are very difficult to navigate away from once we enter them.

Today, I encourage you to submit yourself to a spiritual check-up with the Holy Spirit. So rather than assuming that every decision you have made has been right, come honestly before Him and ask Him to reveal to you where you may have entered a path of error and ask Him to search your heart, examine your choices and motives, to show you where you departed from the path of truth.

Then be willing to be pliable to acknowledge His path of correction, even when it exposes something within you would rather not confront. When He reveals to you an area where you have gone astray, repent quickly and turn away from that path.

Ask the Lord to lead you back to the truth and restore you back to the way He intends for you to walk. Do not stop at recognising the error of your way, but also pray fervently that you will not return to that path again. Make a sincere commitment to heed the warnings of the Holy Spirit and to respond to them promptly when He restrains you from pursuing desires or opportunities that could draw you into compromise.

Remember that there is a big difference between merely regretting a wrong decision and allowing the Lord to correct your direction, because true repentance always involves us turning away from the error and becoming willing to follow His leading instead.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am awakening to a greater level of spiritual sensitivity, alertness, and discernment. I refuse to be spiritually asleep at the very moments when the Lord is calling me to watch, pray, obey, and stand firm. Just as Jesus called His disciples to recognise the seriousness of the hour, I receive the grace to recognise the spiritual significance of the moments I am living in and to respond promptly to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I declare that all complacency, distraction, carelessness, and spiritual insensitivity will no longer dictate the course of my life.

I declare that my heart is attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, my spirit is responsive to His warnings, and my steps are directed by His wisdom. I will not allow the pressures of life, the deceitfulness of worldly desires, or the attraction of seemingly favourable opportunities to draw me away from the path the Lord has prepared for me.

According to Mark.14:41 and Luke.22:41–46, I receive the grace to remain watchful and prayerful in critical moments, and I will no longer sleep spiritually when I should be standing steadfast in faith. I declare that I will not become distracted when the Lord is calling me to pay attention.

I declare that I will not be caught unprepared by temptation or spiritual opposition because I have neglected communion with the Holy Spirit . I declare that the Holy Spirit is training me to discern the hour, recognise the danger, and to respond with wisdom, prayer, and obedience.

I declare that I will no longer be governed by my natural understanding, personal desires, emotions, or the opinions of others. I refuse on purpose to assume that every opportunity I receive is from the Lord simply because it looks attractive, convenient, or promising.

I will seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit before taking steps that could compromise the truth or lead me away from the Lord’s divine purpose for my life. I receive the grace to wait when the Holy Spirit says wait, to stop when He says stop, and to move when He gives me the direction and go ahead to proceed. In the name of Jesus, I reject every path of error and every wrong judgement that would lead me into paths of unnecessary pain, spiritual captivity, bondage, or a departure from the will of the Lord for my life.

I declare that I will not exchange the truth I know for any temporary pleasure, worldly approval, personal ambition, or the pressure to conform. I will never surrender the spiritual progress I have made by ignoring the warnings of the Holy Spirit. By His grace, I will recognise the enemy’s schemes and refuse to give him room to hinder my progress in the purposes of the Lord. Just as Jesus prayed for Peter, according to Luke.22:31 & 32, I am reminded of the importance of me remaining steadfast in faith and returning promptly to the Lord whenever I have strayed.

Therefore, I declare that a wrong turn I make through deception will not become the end of my journey. I will not hide from the Lord when He exposes my shortcomings, but I will return to Him in repentance, by promptly receiving His correction, and allowing Him to restore me to the path of truth.

I receive the grace to arise again, regain my spiritual momentum, and continue fulfilling the purpose for which He has called me. Holy Spirit please, search my heart and examine my thoughts, motives, decisions, and desires, and reveal to me every area where I have departed from the truth or become insensitive to Your leading.

Holy Spirit I ask you to give me a humble and teachable heart that is willing to acknowledge correction, even when it exposes things I would rather not confront. I will no longer defend my errors or make excuses for my disobedience, but I choose to repent quickly, and turn away from every wrong path, by aligning myself afresh with the will of the Lord for my life.

I declare that I will not just merely regret my wrong decisions, but I will allow the Lord to correct my direction. I declare that my repentance will be demonstrated through changed choices, renewed obedience, and a willingness to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 26/10/1964. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing Part One of my Communion time with the Holy Spirit on becoming sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit.

Do you desire to become more sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit? Do you have a burning passion in your heart to walk in the miraculous and to experience the miracles, signs, and wonders demonstrated by the men and women of God in the Book of Acts?

If this is truly your desire, you must be willing to examine your heart, your understanding, and your willingness to yield to the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit. In John.3:8, Jesus says these words: “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.

So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” The movement of the Holy Spirit cannot be confined to our established expectations, traditions, or preconceived ideas. Just as the wind blows where it wishes, the Holy Spirit moves according to His own will and purpose. Therefore, the question we must honestly ask ourselves is this: Are we willing to walk in step with the wind of the Holy Spirit, or are we so fixed in our own ways that we are unwilling to yield to His movement?

If we desire to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and participate in His miraculous works, we must be prepared to let go of whatever prevents us from recognising and responding to His leading. When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in John.3, He was seeking to help him understand the movement and operation of the Kingdom of God.

Nicodemus, however, was struggling to comprehend the spiritual truth Jesus was communicating because he was confined by the words he believed he already understood and had studied from the law. Nicodemus recognised that the power of God was at work in Jesus, and he was attracted to what Jesus was demonstrating and wanted to understand what made His ministry different from the religious practices of that day.

Yet, despite his awareness of the Lord’s power, Nicodemus found it difficult to grasp the spiritual realities Jesus was revealing because his understanding was restricted by the traditions of the elders and the religious status quo. His experience demonstrates that possessing scriptural knowledge alone does not automatically make us sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

So even though we may know the words recorded in Scripture, attend religious gatherings, and be influential within our church communities, yet we will still struggle to recognise what the Holy Spirit is doing if we remain unwilling to move beyond our familiar traditions and allow His truth to transform our understanding and actions. We must therefore examine ourselves carefully to remove the hindrances in our hearts and minds, so we can respond favourably to the wind of the Holy Spirit.

Has our regular church attendance become a hiding place where we remain spiritually stagnant while assuming that we are doing well because we know what the Bible teaches and have influence within our church environment? We must never allow our religious familiarity to deceive us into believing that we are spiritually mature when we are in truth failing to respond to the present leading of the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is not merely a collection of words we know or doctrines we can explain.

So we must be willing to receive the Holy Spirit’s instruction, by understanding His direction, and acting in obedience to His leading. The reality is that sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading and direction is essential to us living a blessed and fruitful life in the Kingdom of Jesus. This was part of what Nicodemus sensed as he observed Jesus from a distance.

He wanted to understand what Jesus was doing differently and how the power of God was being manifested through Him. This point makes it clear that our desire must go beyond us just knowing about the moving of the Holy Spirit, because we must become people who recognise His leading and are willing to follow whatever way He directs us to take.

Although Nicodemus did not immediately become an open follower of Jesus during his first encounter with Him, the subsequent scriptural narrative reveals that Jesus had profoundly affected his life. So as time passed by, Nicodemus began to speak up for Jesus among his peers and eventually participated in the burial of Jesus’s body.

In John.7:50 & 51, we read these words: “Nicodemus (he who came to Jesus by night, being one of them) said to them, 51‘Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?’” Nicodemus spoke up when Jesus was being discussed and challenged the unfairness of them judging Him without first hearing Him and understanding what He was doing.

His response shows that his encounter with Jesus had begun to influence his actions, even though his journey of life was unfolding progressively. Then, in John.19:39, we read these words: “And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds.” So Nicodemus, who initially approached Jesus at night, later came forward with a substantial quantity of myrrh and aloes to participate in preparing Jesus’ body for burial.

His good actions demonstrated the fact that his encounter with Jesus had made a lasting impression on him and he was no longer just merely an observer seeking to understand Jesus from a distance; but he was now publicly involved in honouring Jesus at a significant moment. From this lesson, I learnt a very salient lesson of truth from the Holy Spirit that when someone continues to appear in the scriptural narrative in connection with Jesus, we can observe the continuing significance of that person’s involvement in the unfolding story.

Their actions can provide lessons worth examining as we seek to grow in our relationship with the Lord. I have come to understand that we must be discerning about the examples we choose to follow. We should never build our understanding of spiritual growth on examples that the scriptural narrative does not present as models for the particular lesson we are seeking to learn.

Instead, we should pay attention to the people whose continuing involvement with Jesus reveals something valuable about their response to Him. Nicodemus reminds us of the fact of how a singular encounter with Jesus should never leave us unchanged, because as we continue our journey with the Lord, our understanding, convictions, courage, and actions should increasingly reflect the impact of that encounter.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am becoming increasingly sensitive to the moving, leading, and direction of the Holy Spirit, and I will not be trapped by my religious traditions, spiritual complacency, or the assumption that studied knowledge alone is sufficient. My heart is open to the truth of God, and I am willing to follow wherever the Holy Spirit leads. I declare that every path of error I have walked is being exposed, and by the grace of God, I will repent, turn away from it, and return to the path of truth.

I will no longer allow worldly desires, presumptuous decisions, or the pressure of others to draw me into the place of compromising the truth. I declare that the Holy Spirit is training me to recognise His warnings and to respond to His instructions with humility and obedience.

I receive the grace to remain spiritually alert, watchful, prayerful, and steadfast in faith. My spiritual feet will be restrained from presumptuous sins, and I will not knowingly persist in a direction that the Lord has warned me against. So when correction comes, I will receive it, and when I need to turn back, I will return to the Lord; and when He directs me to move forward, I will obey in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 23/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing part one of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on guarding our tongues by offering the sacrifice of praise to the Lord.

This morning, during my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He reminded me again of the importance of us speaking only the things we want to see happen in our lives. He emphasized the need for us to guard our tongues carefully and ensure that the fruit of our lips is continually full of praise to the Lord. This is a vital spiritual principle that we must never take lightly, because the words we speak matter, and we must be intentional about what proceeds from our mouths.

We must not allow careless speech, negative declarations, complaints, or words of unbelief to become part of our daily conversation, because they can produce negative consequences that may show up in our lives when we least need them. Jesus warned us about the seriousness of our words in Matthew.12:36, by showing us that we will have to give an account for all the idle words we speak.

This fact means that the cost of us speaking carelessly can be much greater than we sometimes realize. Therefore, we must learn to watch our mouths and refuse to speak words that contradict the truth of the Lord concerning us. The Holy Spirit is calling us to a life in which praise is not merely an occasional response we make to a blessing received but a continual offering we make to the Lord.

In Hebrews.13:15, we read these words: “15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” What a beautiful truth to know that the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, helps us keep our mouths full of praise. He teaches us how to respond to every situation in a way that honours the Lord and agrees with His truth. We must therefore make a deliberate decision to guard our tongues and ensure that our words continually express praise, thanksgiving, and confidence in the Lord.

Most of the time, when we think about offering something to the Lord, we think about financial giving. We seem to understand the importance of us bringing our financial offerings to Him, but we may overlook the fact that our mouths are also meant to be presented to the Lord as a continual offering. We must remember that our words are an offering, and the fruit of our lips are a sacrifice of service that we are called to bring to the Lord continually.

The Lord does not want us to honour Him with one kind of offering while using our mouths to contradict His Word. We must understand that praise and thanksgiving are not optional additions to our spiritual lives, but they are expressions of our trust, devotion, and honour towards the Lord.

Consider this example that you may give a financial offering to the Lord, as you ought to do, but immediately afterwards speak words that contradict His promises. In doing so, you may undermine your expectation of the harvest you desire to receive.

This is what happens when you use your mouth to oppose the very process through which you expect to receive the harvest to manifest on your behalf. We must therefore recognize the importance of aligning our words with our faith and our actions of obedience. We cannot honour the Lord through giving and then dishonour Him through our speech that questions His goodness, faithfulness, or the value of serving Him.

Our mouths must not become the instrument through which we cancel out our own confession of trust in the Lord. Instead, we must continually offer Him praise and thanksgiving, by trusting Him to fulfil His Word in His way and in His time.

In Malachi.3:13-15, the Lord confronts His people concerning their words: “Your words have been harsh against Me,” Says the Lord, “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against You?’14 You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of hosts? 15 So now we call the proud blessed, For those who do wickedness are raised up; They even tempt God and go free.’ ”

This passage provides a clear example of what we must avoid doing. The people had spoken harshly against the Lord, yet they did not recognize the seriousness of their words. They questioned the benefit of serving the Lord and keeping His ordinances, by suggesting that their devotion had brought them no profit. Their words were an insult to the Lord and His Word, particularly in view of all the good He had done for them according to His covenant promises.

The writer of Hebrews teaches us to offer the sacrifice of praise continually. We must not do the opposite by allowing our mouths to become filled with complaints, accusations, and declarations that serving the Lord is useless. We are to be firm in our words against the enemy, by rebuking him and resisting his works, but we must never direct that harshness against the Lord, who is our only true help and aid.

We must never accuse the Lord of failing us simply because we are passing through a difficult season. We must never allow our temporary negative circumstances to determine our understanding of His faithfulness. Jesus cannot affirm and bring to pass a lie as though it were His truth.

So we must therefore ensure that the offering of our mouths is not a contradiction of what He has spoken. The truth remains that no one who trusts in the Lord needs to surrender to shame or disgrace as though they have the final authority over their lives.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that, by the grace and help of the Holy Spirit, my mouth shall continually offer the sacrifice of praise to the Lord. I declare that my lips shall be filled with thanksgiving, and my words shall honour the Lord and agree with His truth. I receive the grace to guard my tongue and to speak with wisdom, faith, and reverence.

I will not allow idle words, complaints, accusations, or negative declarations to govern my life. I will not speak words against the Lord or question the value of serving Him because of my temporary difficulties, because my confidence remains in His faithfulness and the truth of His Word.

I declare that the Holy Spirit, who is also the Spirit of Truth, is helping me to align my words with the Lord’s promises. So that no matter what I see happening around me, I will not allow the enemy to dictate the fruit of my lips. I will praise the Lord in favourable seasons and difficult seasons, in times of abundance and in times of waiting, because He is worthy of continual praise in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 24/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing the conclusion of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on guarding our tongues by offering the sacrifice of praise to the Lord.

We must remain confident in the Lord and allow our words to agree with the Lord’s promises rather than the negative interpretation offered by the enemy. The Holy Spirit is with us to help us break the trends of shame and disgrace thus bringing us into the glory the Lord desires to manifest in our lives. No matter what you see happening around you, your mouth and words must never agree with the enemy, but they must always agree with the truth the Lord has spoken.

In John.16:13, Jesus teaches us about the Spirit of Truth, who guides us into all truth, as we need the Holy Spirit’s help because, when circumstances become difficult, our natural response may be to complain, speak negatively, or conclude that things will never change. However the Spirit of Truth helps us look beyond what is visible and remain aligned with what the Lord has said.

This reality does not mean that we pretend that difficulties do not exist, but it means that we refuse to allow those difficulties to dictate our confession or turn our hearts against the Lord’s way of doing things. The Holy Spirit our Counsellor teaches us how to respond in faith. He gives us the grace to praise the Lord when we would naturally complain, by giving thanks when we feel disappointed, and empowers us to remain confident when the outcome is not yet visible.

Our words must be governed by His truth, and not by the pressure of our negative circumstances. Remember the unfortunate situation that the Apostle Paul and Silas experienced in Macedonia.

In Acts.16:23-26, we read these words: “And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. 24 Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”

Paul and Silas had been beaten and imprisoned for doing a good act for someone, and then they found themselves in an unjust and painful situation, locked up and confined in the inner prison with their feet fastened in stocks. Yet, at midnight, they were praying and singing hymns to God. How could they offer praise in such an unfortunate situation? They knew whom they served, and they were not going to offer Him complaints because of what they were experiencing. Instead, they chose to demonstrate to the prisoners the power of the Jesus they served by praising Him vigorously.

They did not allow their suffering to take the fruit of praise out of their mouths. So even though their circumstances were horrendous they did not become an excuse for them to speak against the Lord. Then came the extraordinary result through their praise, when suddenly a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison, to the extent that every door opened, and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Their praise was followed by a remarkable manifestation of the Lord’s power, and the events that unfolded changed the lives of many. Those present in the prison witnessed the mighty hand of the Lord and saw what happened when His servants continued to honour Him through praise in adversity. Paul and Silas teach us through this experience that praise must not be reserved for the moment when everything is going well. We must praise the Lord in the middle of the battle, by trusting Him even when we cannot see how He will bring us through.

We must never allow our natural events to determine whether we will praise the Lord. This is because our praise must remain steadfast because He is worthy, regardless of what we are experiencing. I was reminded of a journey I made from Nigeria to Botswana, where it happened that when I arrived in Botswana, I was refused entry because Nigeria was on the list of Ebola-affected countries whose travellers were banned from entering Botswana.

The government decision had not been communicated to me before I made the journey. So only after arriving in Botswana, I was informed of the restriction and escorted by the Botswana immigration to leave the country and return on the next flight to Johannesburg. I had just completed a combined journey of approximately eight to ten hours and now I was being required to turn around and make another journey of over twelve hours, while facing the prospect of having missed out on everything I had planned to do in Botswana.

It was a very disappointing and exhausting situation, and satan was speaking loudly to me, by tempting me to speak negatively about Botswana and complain about the entire experience. However, thankfully, I resisted the urge to speak negatively and I chose instead to praise the Lord. As I made that choice, the peace of the Holy Spirit rested upon me, and He spoke to me and assured me that everything would be all right. He promised me that He would make it up to me, by sorting out the mess that had occurred, and recompense me for what I had experienced.

After spending approximately two hours in Botswana, I boarded the plane and began the return journey to Nigeria. As the plane took off, I experienced such remarkable peace that I began praying for Botswana with great joy, and nobody would have imagined what I had just gone through, considering the joy with which I was praying, even though I was tired and worn out from the journey. I refused to allow the disappointment to determine my words or rob me of my peace, but instead, I chose to trust the Lord and continue praising Him.

The Lord made it up to me because one year later, I returned to Botswana, this time travelling from the United Kingdom. At the airport, I met the same person who had refused me entry when I had arrived from Nigeria. He remembered me and was happy to give me a warm welcome. What an encouragement this was! It helped me to reinforce the truth that it is always worthwhile to offer the Lord the sacrifice of praise in any and every situation.

When we praise the Lord rather than agree with the enemy’s negative interpretation of events, we remain open to the Holy Spirit’s direction and work. He can always bring peace in the midst of disappointment and demonstrate the mighty hand of the Lord in circumstances that initially appeared unfavourable. I have experienced many other difficult situations during air travel, particularly when entering different regions and nations to bring the good news of the Kingdom. These situations have sometimes placed me under immense pressure to speak words of complaint.

However, as I have chosen to offer the sacrifice of praise with my lips, I have watched the Holy Spirit change the dynamics of those situations, to the point where He has given me favourable entry into particular nations and increased favour for the trips. These experiences have taught me that it is always much more worthwhile to do what the Holy Spirit says, even when His instruction seems unusual in the circumstances.

When the natural response is to complain, the Holy Spirit will always lead us to give thanks. When disappointment threatens to overwhelm us, He can teach us to remain peaceful and confident in the Lord’s ability to bring forth good out of impossible situations. When the enemy tries to use an event to provoke negative speech, we can refuse that temptation and continue to praise the Lord because we know He is in charge of all things.

As we obey Him, the Holy Spirit steps in and makes a difference, because He can turn a distressing experience into an opportunity to witness His faithfulness and bring about a beautiful reward of triumph on our behalf. We must therefore learn to respond to life’s challenges in a way that honours the Lord. We should never allow inconvenience, fatigue, delays, rejection, or unexpected obstacles to take praise out of our mouths because our circumstances may change from day to day, but our commitment to praise the Lord must remain steadfast.

My prayer for you this morning is that, as you hear these words, you will find the grace made available through the Holy Spirit to offer the Lord your sacrifice of praise through your lips and continually give thanks to His name. May you experience the mighty hand of the Lord changing negative circumstances in your life.

May your experiences become stories of infallible evidence that the Word of God works in every instance, regardless of what arises to challenge it, as long as you allow your mouth to agree with the Lord. As you learn to praise Him continually, may the Holy Spirit lead you into situations where you witness His faithfulness, peace, favour, and miraculous intervention. May the things He accomplishes on your behalf become testimonies that encourage others to believe that the Word of God is real and works.

This grace given to you by the Holy Spirit will empower you to become a more valuable witness to the people around you. As your life will demonstrate that the Lord is faithful and that His Word can be trusted even when circumstances appear contrary to His promises. Remember that the goal is not just merely to change the words we speak outwardly, but It is to allow the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts so that outbursts of praise becomes our continual response to the Lord.

I will praise the Lord in favourable seasons and difficult seasons, in times of abundance and in times of waiting, because He is worthy of continual praise.

I declare that just like Paul and Silas, I will pray and sing praises to God even in the middle of adversity. So that just like my experience in Botswana, you will resist the temptation to complain when negative circumstances disappoint you. I declare that you will receive the peace of the Holy Spirit, then follow His direction, and trust the Lord to demonstrate His mighty hand in His way and in His time concerning your life progression.

I repent of every negative word I have ever spoken against the Lord and every declaration that has contradicted His truth. I receive the abundant grace to change my speech, correct myself immediately when I fall short, and return to the pathway of praise, pleasantness, and peace. I declare that my life shall become a testimony of the faithfulness of the Lord’s Word. So that as I continually offer the sacrifice of praise, I will witness the help, favour, peace, direction, and miraculous intervention of the Lord.

I declare that my experiences shall provide evidence of the Lord’s goodness and provide encouragement to others to trust Him. From this day forward, my mouth is an offering of praise to the Lord, and I will no longer allow natural events to silence my thanksgiving or turn my heart against the Lord. My words shall agree with His truth, my heart shall remain confident in His faithfulness, and my life shall testify to the mighty hand of the Lord.

I receive the abundance of grace to live daily in a state of high praise to the Lord, by giving thanks to His name and honouring Him in every situation I face in life. I declare that the Holy Spirit will help me, by teaching me, and He will strengthen me to remain steadfast and immovable in this commitment to offer the sacrifice of praise continually in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 22/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing the continuation of my communion time with the Holy Spirit about us being called to believe and live beyond what Is humanly conceivable.

In Galatians.2:20, the Apostle Paul declares that we have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us, and the life we now live in the flesh is lived by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. This truth must become more than just a statement of faith we confess. It must wholeheartedly become the reality that governs how we live. If Christ truly lives in us, then what should be manifested through us is Jesus in action, and not the weakness of a self-governed life that insists on having its own way.

We must allow the Holy Spirit to bring us to the place where the will, wisdom, faith, and purposes of Jesus can be expressed through our lives. We are not called to make our own human abilities the centre of attention, but we are called to become surrendered vessels through which the life of Christ is revealed. This fact requires a complete change in how we approach our circumstances. So rather than continually asking ourselves what we can accomplish by our own strength, we must ask what Jesus desires to accomplish through us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit does not need us to remain alive to self, where we continually fight His leading and keep insisting on our own preferences. He wants our hearts surrendered, yielded, and available to His purposes. “The Holy Spirit does not need us alive in the flesh fighting Him but He wants us dead, and totally submitted to Him.” This posture is the foundation for us walking in the inconceivable, which is the total surrender of self so that Christ may be expressed through us.

Jesus illustrated this principle when speaking to Peter in John.21:18 when He spoke these words: “Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” Jesus was showing Peter that his life would not always be governed by his own choices, preferences, and initiative, because a time would come when Peter would have to surrender his independence and allow another to direct him, even into places he would not naturally choose to go.

In the context of the Holy Spirit’s instruction to me this morning, this points to the depth of surrender required for us to fulfil the Lord’s purpose. We must be willing to let the Holy Spirit direct our steps beyond the boundaries of our own desires and comfort. We must remember that a person who has died cannot direct himself. However he can be carried to a place by the one carrying him and positioned according to that person’s intention. In the same way, we must become so surrendered to the Holy Spirit that He can direct us where He wants us to go and lead us into what He wants us to accomplish.

This does not mean that we cease to have a mind, will, emotions, or intellect. It just means that we surrender these faculties, together with our bodies, to the government of the Holy Spirit. We must no longer insist on deciding for ourselves where we will go, whom we will serve, what we will do, or what we are willing to undertake. Instead, we must allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into the mind and purposes of Christ.

The Holy Spirit is calling us to ask Him to accomplish through us what appears inconceivable from our perspective but is already within the heart and mind of Christ for us to fulfil. I can testify personally to the way the Holy Spirit can change our hearts and lead us into places we once believed we would never return to. There were two countries I had declared I would never go to again: Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

Yet the Holy Spirit changed my heart towards both countries and gave me a love for their people that I never believed I could have. He subsequently led me to minister to people there in the name of Jesus, and I witnessed wonderful miraculous results. I remember the season when I was praying for both countries under the direction of the Holy Spirit, and after I began praying for them, I started encountering Nigerians and Sierra Leoneans who needed my spiritual help in London, and later in Botswana and the United States of America.

These encounters helped me recognize that we cannot simply run away from the Lord’s plan for our lives, because His purposes can continue to surface through our circumstances, relationships, and opportunities. Whenever we resist His direction because of our personal feelings, we may find ourselves resisting the very assignment He wants us to fulfil. So the answer is to submit willingly to His will and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in us.

However, the Lord melted my heart and through the grace and love of the Holy Spirit, I began praying for Sierra Leone. As I continued to seek the Lord, the Holy Spirit began giving me visions of myself ministering in the country. So what I had previously rejected became part of the purpose the Lord was revealing to me. Those visions began to manifest when I returned to Sierra Leone and I witnessed the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, perform remarkable things, including miracles, signs, and wonders. These experiences transformed my heart, and I grew to love the people and the country again.

I have returned on many occasions over the years and have seen the hand of the Lord manifested in numerous ways. So what I once rejected became a place of ministry, love, and testimony because I allowed the Holy Spirit to change my heart and redirect my steps. This experience demonstrates why we must never assume that our present feelings represent the final word concerning Lord’s purpose for our lives. We may dislike a place, reject an assignment, or believe that certain people are beyond our willingness to serve. Yet the Holy Spirit can transform our hearts, by giving us His love, and lead us into His purposes in ways we could never have imagined.

The Holy Spirit is calling us to stop limiting our lives to what we can naturally conceive. So we must begin to look beyond our present understanding and expect Him to lead us into the purposes of Christ, because there may be places we have never imagined visiting, people we never thought we could love, assignments we would never voluntarily choose, or challenges we believe are beyond our ability to handle. Yet these may be precisely the areas in which the Lord wants to demonstrate His power through our surrendered lives.

Our responsibility is not to determine beforehand how every assignment will work out, but it is to surrender to the Holy Spirit, listen to His direction, and obey Him as He leads us. The disciples had no natural provision sufficient to feed the multitudes, but Jesus always knew how to cooperate with the Father and the Holy Spirit. In the same way, we must not assume that the absence of natural resources means the absence of divine provision. The Lord may call us to act where our own wisdom cannot supply an answer, to go where our preferences would never take us, or to love those whom we once rejected.

As we yield to Him, He can accomplish what is beyond our natural abilities and understanding, which is why the Holy Spirit wants our prayers to change. We should not only ask for what seems reasonable or manageable within our present circumstances. We should also seek what is in the heart and mind of Christ for us, because what He wants to accomplish marvels through our lives for His glory, even when it seems inconceivable to us. Our lives are meant to become demonstrations of the power of Jesus, so that people may see what He can do through those who have surrendered completely to Him.

My prayer this morning is that these words will penetrate your heart and that you will receive the grace supplied through them to love what you have hated and realign yourself with the Lord’s purpose for your life. May you become willing to receive and walk in everything Jesus has purposed for you to do for His glory, even when it takes you outside your comfort zone and into places you never believed you would go.

May your heart be stirred to walk with the Holy Spirit in a place where you ask for and expect what is naturally inconceivable to you, but which is already within the heart and mind of Christ for your life. I beseech you to surrender your heart and soul, that is your mind, your will, your emotions, and your intellect, as well as your body, to the Holy Spirit by giving Him permission to direct you, change your desires, reshape your thinking, and lead you into assignments that may challenge your natural preferences.

Be willing to go where He sends you, and be willing to serve whom He asks you to serve. Be willing to believe Him when the resources appear insufficient and the outcome seems impossible by allowing Him to work through you in ways that go beyond your natural expectations and demonstrate the mighty hand of the Lord. The goal is not to glorify human ability but it is to reveal Jesus through His followers.

As we surrender our hearts to the Holy Spirit, the life and faith of the Son of God can be expressed more fluently through us, thus bringing glory to His name and giving people evidence of His power and faithfulness in the name of Jesus. Amen. I declare that my life is available for the expression of Jesus. His faith, wisdom, love, power, and purposes shall be manifested through me by the Holy Spirit.

I will no longer insist on living according to my own preferences, but will allow the Holy Spirit to lead me into places I would not naturally choose and assignments I could never accomplish by my own strength so that every heart that needs to be changed, every place I need to go, every person I am called to serve, and every assignment prepared for me by the Lord shall be approached with a yielded heart.

I declare that I am not confined to my comfort zone but that I am surrendered to the Lord’s purpose and available for His glory. The Holy Spirit will lead me into the works Jesus has prepared for me, and through my obedience, people will see the reality of Jesus and the mighty hand of the Lord at work. I receive the grace to ask for what is in the heart and mind of Christ, to believe beyond natural limitations, and to walk in the inconceivable as the Holy Spirit directs me.

I declare that my life shall become a testimony of His power, and Jesus Christ shall receive the glory for everything He accomplishes through me. I am dead to self, alive in Christ, and wholly surrendered to the Holy Spirit, and I will go where He leads, do what He commands, love whom He calls me to love, and believe Him for what I cannot conceive naturally. Through me, may the faith and power of Jesus be demonstrated on the earth, and may His name be glorified in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit for Your Day. 21/10/2026. From Emile Luke

Today I am sharing Part One of my communion time with the Holy Spirit about us being called to believe and live beyond what Is humanly conceivable.

This morning, during my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He spoke to me about the importance of us no longer asking the Lord only for things that are conceivable within the limits of human reasoning. He wants us to graduate into a place where our thoughts, actions, and expectations are governed by the mind of Christ, so that we begin to act as Jesus acts and do the works He desires to accomplish through us.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of the occasion when Jesus fed the five thousand in John.6. On that occasion Jesus did not begin the day by planning how much food would be required, by first calculating the cost of feeding the multitude, or determining whether there was sufficient money available in the coffers to purchase the necessary provisions. Instead, He allowed the Holy Spirit to direct Him concerning how to respond to the situation that arose.

Jesus we are told knew what He would do, even when the disciples could not see a natural solution to the problem before them. So when Jesus asked Philip where they could buy bread to feed the people, He was inviting Philip to participate in something beyond the limits of his ordinary human thinking. Jesus was not asking because He Himself lacked an answer. He was opening the way for Philip to encounter the possibility of witnessing and participating in a miracle that human planning could not have produced.

This mindset of thinking beyond what is conceivable is what the Holy Spirit is emphasizing to me, so that our prayers must graduate beyond what we can naturally conceive, calculate, or accomplish. We must learn to ask for what will cause people to marvel and become speechless as the Lord demonstrates His will and power through us. We must never restrict our expectations to what our finances, experience, abilities, connections, or present circumstances can accommodate.

The Holy Spirit wants us to become so surrendered to Him that He can bring forth through us what originates in the heart and mind of Christ. Consider what Jesus did when He fed the five thousand in John.6. He did not need money to purchase bread for the multitude. All He needed was to trust the Father and cooperate with the Holy Spirit so that five loaves and two fish could become sufficient to feed five thousand men, besides the women and children, with twelve baskets left over.

Jesus did not begin the morning by checking the account with Judas to determine whether there was enough money to cover the expense of feeding the people. He did not spend hours worrying about how the provision would be made available or repeatedly turning the problem over in His mind. Instead, He aligned Himself with the Holy Spirit and remained confident in the Father’s ability to provide whatever was necessary to accomplish His will.

Jesus was never controlled by the apparent impossibility of the situation, because He never allowed the absence of sufficient natural resources to become a barrier to what the Father wanted to accomplish. Jesus remained in praise of His Father’s name, as He spoke the words His Father directed Him to speak, and fully cooperated with the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Through that obedience, a miracle took place that astonished those who witnessed it and ate the bread and fish.

This is the place the Holy Spirit wants us to reach, which is the place where we do not become anxious or overwhelmed when a situation presents us with requirements beyond our natural resources. Instead, we must look confidently to Him for direction and trust Him to show us how His will can be accomplished. Our confidence must never rest in our ability to work everything out beforehand. It must rest in the Lord, who knows what He intends to do and can direct us into the actions through which His power will be revealed.

The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to the words Jesus spoke to His disciples in Matthew.16:9-11: “Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? 10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? 11 How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?”

Jesus from this text obviously expected His disciples to learn something significant from the two occasions when He fed thousands of people with what appeared to be insufficient supplies. They had witnessed the feeding of the five thousand and the feeding of the four thousand. So they had seen how the Lord could take a small quantity of food, multiply it, then satisfy the needs of a multitude, and leave an abundance remaining.

These experiences should have developed in them an unshakeable faith and confidence in God’s ability to provide miraculously, even when there had been no prior notice, financial preparation, or natural arrangement to meet the need. Yet, when they later became concerned because they had not brought bread, they were still reasoning from the standpoint of their natural limitations. In Matthew.16:8, Jesus said: “But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, ‘O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread?’”

Jesus was clearly not impressed with their lack of understanding on spiritual matters at that point. They had witnessed extraordinary provision, but they were still struggling with anxiety over a comparatively small matter of provision. They had experienced much greater miracles before, yet they were now allowing the absence of bread to trouble them as though the Lord’s power had suddenly become limited.

The lesson for us is very clear that we must not just merely witness miracles, but we must allow those experiences of the miraculous to transform our understanding of the Lord’s power and ability to such a degree that our faith is fully developed in His ability to act supernaturally again. Remember that what the Lord has done should teach us to trust Him in situations we have not previously encountered.

We must never become prisoners of our natural reasoning when the Holy Spirit is leading us into something greater. The disciples needed to understand that Jesus was not speaking merely about physical bread. He was teaching them to perceive spiritual realities and to trust the One who could provide beyond what their natural resources could supply.

This is also the place to which the Holy Spirit is calling us to occupy in this season, which is the place where the faith of Jesus is demonstrated on the earth again through our lives, so that people can see, marvel, and be converted to serve Him because Jesus has the answers to all life’s questions.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that I have been crucified with Christ which means that the old self-centred life must no longer govern my actions. Christ has taken up residence in me, and He desires to express His life and faith through me so that people may see just how awesome and stupendous His power is. The name of Jesus is far greater than every other name, and His power is not restricted by the limitations that govern natural human thinking. He can accomplish His will at any given time through a life that is wholly surrendered to Him.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians.2:20).

I refuse to limit my faith, prayers, expectations, or obedience to what is naturally conceivable. I surrender my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, intellect, and body to the Holy Spirit. I yield my plans, preferences, ambitions, and personal desires to His government, and I give Him permission to direct my life according to the heart and mind of Christ.

I declare that the Holy Spirit is transforming my thinking and teaching me to trust the Lord beyond the boundaries of my natural understanding. I will not be ruled by fear, limited resources, past experiences, or the opinions of others. I will listen for His direction, obey His instructions, and remain confident in His ability to make the impossible possible.

As Jesus fed the multitudes with five loaves and two fish, I believe that the Lord can accomplish His purposes through what appears insufficient in the natural. I will learn from His mighty works and develop unshakeable confidence in His power. I will not allow anxiety over what I lack to prevent me from obeying what He has instructed me to do.

I declare that my life is available for the expression of Jesus. His faith, wisdom, love, power, and purposes shall be manifested through me by the Holy Spirit. I will no longer insist on living according to my own preferences, but will allow the Holy Spirit to lead me into places I would not naturally choose and assignments I could never accomplish by my own strength in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 20/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing the conclusion of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on being filled with all the fullness of God.

The Lord wants us to be so established in His love that we are able to comprehend, together with all the saints, the width, the length, the depth, and the height of the love of Christ, that is the love that surpasses knowledge. This reality of the full scope of the love of God is not merely an intellectual understanding of God’s love. It is a reality that must become so deeply established in our hearts that it influences our entire lives.

As we become rooted and grounded in His love, our capacity to receive and experience the fullness of God is enlarged. We begin to comprehend more deeply the immeasurable nature of His love and the full extent of what He desires to accomplish in us. The ultimate goal, as stated in Ephesians.3:16–19, is that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. This is exactly the position where Jesus wants His followers and lovers to walk daily. He desires His name and His Kingdom to be visible on the earth through people who are filled with His life, rooted in His love, and governed by His Spirit.

Jesus, our Lord, forever lives in heaven to make continual intercession for us. So we must therefore embrace the truth that He desires us to experience the fullness of His glory in our lives here on earth. Our response to this privilege must be to yield ourselves to this reality, by allowing the Holy Spirit to do His work in us, so that the splendour of the Lord may be revealed through our lives for the glory of His wonderful name.

If we desire to be filled with all the fullness of God, we must be willing to surrender whatever stands in the way of His purposes. This means we must give up our insistence on having our own way, by allowing the Lord to determine what our lives should become. Whatever we need to lay down to embrace His truth, we must be willing to submit that thing to Him.

The Apostle Paul gives us a powerful example in Philippians.3:7–11 of how this process looks by saying: “But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.”

Paul was willing to count everything he had previously regarded as gain as loss for Christ. His overriding desire was to gain Christ, and be found in Him, and know Him more deeply, including the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings. This is the attitude we must embrace because we must be willing to lay down our achievements, accomplishments, ambitions, and personal claims to greatness so that we may gain what Jesus desires for us.

I lay down all my achievements in life to gain what Jesus has for me which is to be filled with all the fullness of God, so that my life reflects what Jesus desires for me rather than what I desire for myself. No matter how great our accomplishments may appear in human terms, they cannot compare with what the Lord desires us to experience. Our personal ambitions and achievements cannot match the riches of His glory or the fullness of what He wants to manifest through our lives.

Therefore, we must surrender everything that prevents us from believing and embracing what the Lord has declared concerning our lives. We must choose Christ above every competing pursuit and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in us. My prayer for you today is that, as you hear these words, your heart will be filled with joy unspeakable, full of glory and stirred to receive every grace necessary to walk in the reality of this truth. May you be willing to lay down everything that has prevented you from believing what the Lord has declared concerning your life.

May your singular pursuit become to walk in the place of fullness that the Lord has prepared for you through the Holy Spirit. Let your heart be so stirred to action that you follow completely after the voice of the Holy Spirit by allowing Him to guide you into the fullness of God’s purposes, as He makes you a vessel through which the Lord’s glory is revealed. May your life become the Lord’s gem banner, sparkling over the nations, with a life that radiates His nature, character, wisdom, power, and love, so that He receives full glory through you.

The goal is not simply for us to experience more of God for our personal satisfaction, but it is for us to become so completely filled with Him that the world can see Jesus at work through your life and His Kingdom becomes more visible on the earth. May your day be more productive and fruitful, as you exemplify the gem banner the Lord has made you to be, sparkling over the nations for His glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I declare that being filled with all the fullness of God is my daily pursuit, and I will no longer settle for snippets or limited manifestations of His glory when the Holy Spirit is working in me to bring me into the riches of the Lord’s fullness. According to Ephesians.3:16–19, I receive the strengthening of my inner man through the Holy Spirit, and I declare that Christ dwells in my heart through faith.

I am being rooted and grounded in the love of God, and my heart is being enlarged to comprehend the width, length, depth, and height of the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. I declare that the Holy Spirit is filling me with all the fullness of God, and His nature, character, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, might, counsel, and power are being manifested through my surrendered life. I will not depend on my own strength or human ability, but I will yield myself completely to His rule and direction.

I declare that the faith of Jesus is at work in me through the Holy Spirit, and I will believe what the Lord has declared concerning my life and obey His instructions, knowing that His power is greater than my every human limitation. My life will not be governed by fear, self-reliance, or the pursuit of personal greatness, but by the purposes of Jesus and the leading of His Spirit. Like the Apostle Paul in Philippians.3:7–11, I count everything as a loss for the excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

I lay down my achievements, ambitions, and personal claims to greatness so that I may gain Christ, know Him more deeply, and experience the power of His resurrection. I choose the fullness of God’s purpose over every pursuit that competes with His will for my life. I declare that I am becoming a vessel through which the glory of Jesus is revealed on the earth, because the Holy Spirit is working in me so that my words, actions, decisions, and character increasingly reflect the life of Christ.

I decree that His wisdom will direct me, His love will establish me, and His power will work through me to fulfil His purposes. I declare that I will never be satisfied with a life that merely speaks about the Lord’s glory. I will yield myself to the Holy Spirit so that His glory becomes visible through my life. I am being prepared to demonstrate His Kingdom, reveal His righteousness, and become a blessing to the nations.

I declare that I am the Lord’s gem banner, being prepared as a part of His Royal Diadem to sparkle over the nations for His glory. There will be none of self, but all of the Lord! I receive the grace to surrender my heart completely, to follow the voice of the Holy Spirit, and walk in the fullness of the Lord’s plan that Jesus desires for me. I decree that my life will magnify the wonderful name of Jesus, and He will receive all the glory in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 19/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing the first part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on us being filled with all the fullness of God.

This morning, during our communion time, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the goal we, as followers and lovers of Jesus, must aspire to walk in daily which is the fullness of God! The Holy Spirit is with us to work in us and with us so that we can reach and experience this glorious goal. He wants us to examine our lives carefully, by taking stock of where we are, and consider what is required for us to position ourselves in the place to be filled with all the fullness of God.

For us to be filled with all the fullness of something, we must first be emptied of what previously occupied us. We must then take in so much of what we desire to be filled with that it completely saturates our entire being. In the same way, to be filled with all the fullness of God, we must become so full of the Holy Spirit that He has complete control and dominion over our lives.

The goal in our lives is for self to become invisible while the nature, character, and manifestation of the Holy Spirit become increasingly evident in everything we say and do. This is the place Jesus desires us to occupy, and certainly not just a life in which we merely experience occasional manifestations of His Presence, but one in which the Holy Spirit so completely fills and governs us that the life of Jesus is revealed through us.

The foundation of this revelation is found in Ephesians.3:16–19: “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

We must take time to feast on the progression of this truth the Apostle Paul reveals in these verses. This is not presented as a privilege reserved for a select few, but as a glorious possibility available to every follower and lover of Jesus. The Holy Spirit grants to us, according to the riches of Christ’s glory, what we need to fulfil the purposes of Jesus in our lives. He has access to those riches and is empowered by Jesus to bestow the equipment, strength, and grace necessary for us to accomplish His will.

Notice that the Lord wants us to experience the riches of His glory, and not just merely small portions or occasional snippets of His manifestation. We must never become satisfied with a limited experience of the Holy Spirit when the ultimate goal is for us to be filled with all the fullness of God. We must therefore stretch our hearts to believe for more than we have already experienced and pursue the fullness the Lord desires to manifest through us. The first part of this progression is that we are strengthened with might through the Holy Spirit in our inner man.

This strengthening is not something we can produce through our human effort alone. The Holy Spirit is the One who supplies the divine strength and ability necessary for us to fulfil the will of Jesus. As He strengthens us inwardly, we become equipped to live beyond the limitations of our natural abilities. Our capacity to follow His instructions, fulfil His purposes, and demonstrate His glory is no longer measured merely by what we can accomplish through ourselves, because the Holy Spirit is able to impart the grace and strength we need to become vessels through which the Lord’s purposes are expressed.

The result is a life so filled with God that people encounter the evidence of Jesus at work through us. Our confidence must therefore rest in the Holy Spirit’s ability to strengthen and equip us according to the riches of God’s glory. The Lord never wants us to settle for only limited experiences of His glory. He wants us to pursue the fullness of what He possesses and desires to make available to us through the Holy Spirit for us to experience daily.

Just take a moment to consider the magnitude of what this means, because it points to us walking in the riches of the Lord’s wisdom, knowledge, understanding, might, counsel, and ability. It also includes the ability for us to judge impartially and without fault by the Holy Spirit, and the ability to decide with equity for the meek of the earth. It includes walking in the authority to speak with the rod of the mouth of the Holy Spirit and, through the lips, slay the wicked, by executing righteousness and faithfulness.

It also encompasses the miraculous power of God to work signs, wonders, and extraordinary miracles, including things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has considered possible for the Lord to accomplish through a follower and lover of Jesus in a given moment. These are staggering realities for us to contemplate. Yet the Holy Spirit wants us to understand that He is able to fill a surrendered vessel with Himself so that His own nature, wisdom, power, and glory become evident through that life.

This is not about human greatness or self-exaltation, but it is about the Holy Spirit having complete control and dominion, so that the Lord alone receives the glory for what is accomplished. The person who empties himself of self and makes his vessel available to the Lord becomes a vessel through which the Holy Spirit can manifest His power. So the more completely we surrender to His rule, the more fully available we become for His purposes.

The goal is that the name of Jesus will be magnified on the earth through lives that demonstrate His glory. Paul’s progression continues with the prayer that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. This speaks of the anointing of the Anointed One living and working in us through faith. We must allow the reality of Christ’s life and His anointing within us to become more than just a doctrine we acknowledge, but it must become the reality by which we live.

The Holy Spirit works in us the faith of Jesus, enabling us to believe and act in accordance with His purposes. This faith is not rooted in our natural ability, but in the life and power of Jesus working through the Holy Spirit. So as we yield to Him, we learn to live in the confidence that His ability is greater than our every limitation. The faith He works in us is directed towards the fulfilment of His will, and we are called to walk in the reality that nothing is impossible to Him.

This is why we must stop allowing our own thoughts about what is possible to determine the boundaries of our expectations. We must allow the Holy Spirit to enlarge our hearts and teach us to believe what the Lord has declared. Another essential part of this progression is being rooted and grounded in love. The Lord wants us to be so established in His love that we are able to comprehend, together with all the saints, the width, length, depth, and height of the love of Christ, that is the love that surpasses knowledge.

I declare that the Holy Spirit is filling me with all the fullness of God, so that His nature, character, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, might, counsel, and power are being manifested through my surrendered life. I will no longer depend on my own strength or human ability, but I will yield myself completely to His rule and direction. I declare that the faith of Jesus is at work in me through the Holy Spirit.

So I will believe what the Lord has declared concerning my life and obey His instructions, knowing that His power is greater than every human limitation I have. I decree that my life will no longer be governed by fear, self-reliance, or the pursuit of personal greatness, but by the purposes of Jesus and the leading of His Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.

A Fresh Word Of Encouragement From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 18/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today I am sharing another part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on riding with Him on the high places of the earth.

From the account of creation in Scripture, we understand that man did not participate in the six days of creation work. Man entered the picture on the seventh day, when the Lord’s work of creation had already been completed and everything was functioning according to His divine order. From this perspective, the Holy Spirit reveals that the Sabbath is not merely about ceasing from our ordinary activities. It is about entering a place where we delight ourselves completely in the Lord and give Him our undivided attention.

The Lord is calling us beyond a superficial expression of delight in Him into a genuine surrender in which we stop pursuing our own ways, pleasures, thoughts, judgments, decisions, and words. As we cease from directing ourselves independently of His leading and allow the Holy Spirit to govern our lives, we enter a dimension of His rest where we can ride on the high places of the earth and experience life from His perspective.

This is a call to move beyond the place of “just enough” into the overflowing bounty of the Lord’s oceans of glory. It is an invitation to become so yielded to the Holy Spirit that His wisdom, counsel, authority, and anointing can flow through us to influence circumstances, transform societies, and expand His Kingdom.

From the scriptural account of creation, man did not participate in the six-day work of creation. Man only entered the picture on the seventh day, when the Lord had already completed His work and everything was functioning according to His established order. This fact reveals an important spiritual principle, from the Holy Spirit’s perspective, that the Sabbath is not merely a day on which we stop our ordinary activities.

It represents a time for us to completely delight ourselves in the Lord, by turning our complete attention towards Him and giving Him our undivided attention. The Lord wants us to understand that entering His rest involves more than just ceasing from our outward inactivity. It requires a change in the way we live, think, speak, and make our life decisions. We must learn to cease from our independent self-direction and allow the Holy Spirit to establish His divine order in our lives.

The invitation to us is to enter the place where the Lord has completed His work, trust in His order, and allow His wisdom and leading to determine how we live. Rather than continually relying on our own understanding and striving to direct our lives through our own efforts, we must learn to surrender our hearts completely to the Holy Spirit.

The Lord makes His requirements clear in Isaiah 58:13–14, where we are instructed to stop doing what pleases ourselves on His holy day and instead make the Lord Himself our delight. To honour the holy day, we must refuse to walk in our own ways, which means that we cease to depend on our thoughts, opinions, judgments, and decisions that originate from ourselves to independently determine the direction of our lives.

The warning is that our own way, when pursued independently of the Lord’s input and leading, ultimately leads to death. Therefore, we must stop directing ourselves as though our own understanding were sufficient. We must make room for the Holy Spirit to instruct, correct, guide, and govern us, because the Lord also instructs us to stop seeking our own pleasure and speaking our own words.

These commands address the very foundation of how we live, and we cannot genuinely claim that the Lord is our delight while we continue to pursue our own desires, by insisting on our own opinions, and directing our lives without seeking His counsel. True delight in the Lord is demonstrated through our total surrender of our hearts to the Lord. It is revealed when His will becomes more important to us than our own preferences, to the point where His wisdom takes precedence over our judgments, and His direction determines the path we follow.

As we yield ourselves in this way, we then begin to experience the Lord’s rest—not simply as the absence of our human activity, but as a life brought into alignment with His purposes and divine order.
The commandment to stop speaking our own words connects directly with the declaration of Jesus in John 6:63, where He declared that it is the Spirit who gives life and that the flesh profits nothing. This reveals the importance of the source from which our words originate.

Human words that proceed merely from ourselves do not carry the same life-giving power as words given by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is therefore calling us to stop speaking merely from our own thoughts, emotions, opinions, and judgments. We must learn to speak in agreement with what the Lord is saying, and to only speak what “thus says the Lord.”

When the Lord’s words are placed in our mouths, they carry the life and purpose He intends to release on our behalf. His words always change circumstances and bring His purposes into manifestation. This requires us to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in our speech. So we must not assume that every thought we have needs to be expressed or that every opinion we hold should direct our conversations.

Instead, we must learn to surrender our words to Him, by allowing His truth and wisdom to govern what we say. As we cease from speaking independently of His leading and yield our mouths to the Holy Spirit, our words then become the instrument through which His life is released and His purposes are accomplished in our lives on this earth.

As we genuinely delight ourselves in the Lord, not by just merely calling Him our delight while continuing to live according to our own desires, we enter the place where He is. This brings us into the reality of riding on the heights, where we experience life from His vantage point and start living with the perspective of being seated in the heavenly places, far above all authority and power.

I declare that you will genuinely delight yourself in the Lord and you will cease from independently directing your own path and will yield your decisions, desires, and words to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Your mouth will become increasingly aligned with His truth, and the words He gives you will bring life and serve His purposes on the earth. I declare that you are hidden in the secret place of His Presence and protected from the strife of tongues and the plots of men.

I declare that you will no longer be ruled by the opinions of others or overwhelmed by the pressures of circumstances, but you will be directed by the counsel of the Holy Spirit and learn to see and respond to situations from the Lord’s vantage point. I declare that the anointing upon your life will produce much fruit that remains. So as you surrender to the Holy Spirit, the Lord will work through you to change circumstances, influence nations, transform societies, and reveal His righteousness.

I declare that you are riding with the Lord on the high places of the earth in complete rest. I decree that you are going higher with the Holy Spirit, by moving beyond the place of “just enough” into the overflowing fullness of His glory. Your life will radiate His Presence, produce lasting fruit, and reveal His righteousness to the world in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

A Fresh Encouraging Word From The Holy Spirit For Your Day. 17/10/2026. From Emile Luke.

Today, I am sharing a part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit concerning riding with Him on the high places of the earth in complete rest. This revelation is a call from the Holy Spirit for us to move beyond merely receiving His guidance into a deeper dimension of being completely overtaken by His Presence. It is a place where His glory, anointing, and authority can flow through our lives in a greater and unprecedented measure.

The question the Holy Spirit presented is this: Will you ride further with Him in His vehicle of glory, or will you remain in the place of “just enough” instead of entering into the overflowing bounty of His oceans of glory? Although we may already be walking daily under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit, He is calling us to go higher. He wants us to enter a dimension in which His Presence so fills, governs, and directs us that our lives become vessels through which His anointing can flow in a greater measure on a daily basis.

This fact is not merely about us experiencing more of the Holy Spirit for our personal benefit. It is about us allowing His Presence to work through us in order that nations can be affected by His anointing, people’s circumstances can be changed, and righteousness can become the desire of people’s hearts. This invitation is for us to move beyond a limited experience of His Presence and enter into the overflowing fullness of what He desires to accomplish in and through us.

However we must be willing to go further with Him, by surrendering our hearts more completely to His rule, and allowing Him to take us into the greater dimensions of His glory. This revelation of us riding with the Lord on the high places of the earth is drawn from Isaiah 58:13–14. In this passage, the Lord promises His people that those who honour His holy day, by turning away from pursuing their own pleasure and ways, and delight themselves in Him will be caused to ride on the high hills of the earth and be fed with the heritage of Jacob.

This promise reveals a dimension of relationship with the Lord that goes beyond our ordinary Christian experience. It describes a positioning in the Spirit in which we are no longer governed primarily by our own desires, ways, and pursuits, but increasingly by the direction and rule of the Holy Spirit. As we honour the Lord and delight ourselves in Him, we position ourselves to be led into what He has made available to us.

The Holy Spirit desires to govern our lives so that we can partake of the fullness of what the Lord has promised us and experience His provision and presence daily. Riding on the high places is therefore more than just simply knowing that the Holy Spirit guides us, but it is about us allowing Him to take us further into His purposes, by bringing our lives under His influence and direction until we begin to experience the fullness He desires for us.

The question we must ask ourselves is whether we are satisfied with the measure of our present experience or whether we are willing to respond to the Holy Spirit’s invitation to go higher with Him. We must never settle for “just enough” when He is calling us into the overflowing bounty of His oceans of glory. We must be willing to surrender our hearts more deeply to His Presence and allow Him to lead us into a greater expression of His glory, anointing, and authority through our lives.

The Holy Spirit went on to highlight the importance of the Sabbath, or the day of rest/ Lord, as a significant part for us entering this dimension of riding with the Lord. In Genesis 2:1–3, we read that after the Lord had completed the heavens, the earth, and everything within them, He rested on the seventh day. He blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.

The striking revelation here is that, in this sense, man’s relationship with the Lord began from the place of the Lord’s rest, which He named the Sabbath. The Lord had completed His work and then rested. So the Sabbath was blessed and sanctified by Him, making the principle of rest an important part of our understanding of how we are to relate to Him and enter into what He has prepared.

This fact draws our attention to the significance of us learning to live from the place of the Lord’s rest rather than allowing our lives to be driven continually by our own efforts, pursuits, and ways. The Holy Spirit is calling us into this dimension of life where we can rest in His Presence and allow Him to direct our lives.

This rest is connected to the greater invitation for us to ride with Him on the high places. We must recognise that the Lord has more for us than a life in which we simply try to manage everything through our own strength. He wants us to be filled with His Presence, governed by His Spirit, and led into the fullness of His purposes. John.10:10 speaks of how Jesus came that weight have life and have it in its fullest measure.

So as we respond to His call to ride on the high places, we must be willing to honour Him, by delighting ourselves in Him, and allowing His direction to take precedence over our own desires. In doing so, we are positioning ourselves to experience more of the life He desires us to live in His Presence.

I declare that I will no longer remain in the place of “just enough” when the Holy Spirit is calling me into the overflowing bounty of His oceans of glory. I respond to His invitation to go higher with Him and to ride with Him on the high places of the earth. I declare that my life is being increasingly filled, governed, and directed by the Presence of the Holy Spirit. I will honour the Lord, delight myself in Him, and allow His ways to take precedence over my own.

I will not depend solely on my own strength, wisdom, or efforts, any longer, but I will yield to the Holy Spirit’s leading and direction. As I embrace the place of the Lord’s rest, I declare that I am being led into a greater experience of His fullness, and His glory, anointing, and authority will flow through my life in greater measure, because I will be available for Him to accomplish His purposes through me.

I declare that the Holy Spirit will work through my life to affect nations, change circumstances, and cause righteousness to become the desire of people’s hearts. I will no longer settle for a limited experience of His Presence, but I will continue to respond to His call to go deeper, by surrendering more completely, and walking in the fullness He desires for me. By the grace of God, I will ride with the Holy Spirit on the high places in complete rest, delighting myself in the Lord and partaking of the heritage He has made available to His people.

My life will become a vessel of His Presence, His glory, and His purposes, for the honour of Jesus Christ. I am going higher with the Holy Spirit, and I am entering more deeply into His rest, by yielding my heart to His rule, and making room for the overflowing manifestation of His glory through my life.

I will never again settle for “just enough,” because I am responding to His call to experience the fullness of His Presence and fulfilling His purposes on the earth in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
