Today I am sharing a portion of the prayer pattern that I use to pray out my communion time with the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, I welcome You into this morning. Thank You for the gift of communion with You which has become a time of discovery, deeper revelation, and understanding of the ways of the Lord. This fellowship is so precious to me because You reveal things I do not know and show me the strategies necessary to accomplish the plans the Father has already prepared for my life. You have made my life vibrant, productive, and fruitful in Jesus.

Holy Spirit, I cherish this time with You more than anything else because it brings supernatural ability and the miraculous realm into my circumstances and turns them around. Please remind me today that one word from You can change the most difficult situations in a moment because you can make all things new and cause the impossible to become a reality. Kindly help me to remain still and attentive so that I may watch in awe as You make Your word real before my eyes.

Thank You for Your faithful help and assistance, which makes me fruitful and productive on the earth. Holy Spirit, please deliver me from every poisonous thought that suggests that the Lord can bring something to birth and then fail to complete it. I am so thankful that your Word assures me in Isaiah.66:9 that what You begin, You are well able to bring forth.

For this reason I refuse to allow doubt, delay, fear, or confusion to damage my relationship with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for inviting me into conversation with You so that I can understand more clearly how the Lord thinks and processes things. So that just as Moses was instructed to build according to the pattern shown to him on the mountain, help me to recognize the pattern and instructions You have given me.

I am fully conscious that your instructions are not intended to confuse me because you desire that I know what You require of me and want me follow it accurately. Just as You repeated the instructions concerning Samson’s life instructions in Judges.13:8-14, give me clarity and understanding so that I do not misinterpret Your word or direction.

Holy Spirit, please guide me into all truth. According to John.8:31 & 32, establish me in the truth that makes me free. Let no lie, deception, or false expectation control my thinking or damage my walk with the Lord. I do not want to live in darkness concerning the purposes of the Lord because I want to be clear on what I need to do so that I can serve the Lord fully and walk in obedience. I know that you know the events of the future.

Your Word says in Amos.3:7 that the Lord reveals His purposes to His servants the prophets before He acts. So according to John.16:13-15, guide me into what is to come by showing me exactly what I need to know so that I can prepare correctly, make the necessary changes, and remain aligned with the Lord’s purpose.

Thank You Lord that there are no earthly surveillance systems comparable to You. I rejoice because I know You know everything, and You possess everything necessary to destroy, remove, change, or replace whatever must be brought back into alignment with the Lord’s plan for my life. Holy Spirit, give me grace to walk in the knowledge You provide I declare in Jesus name. Amen.
