The central message of this communion time with the Holy Spirit is a reminder of the fact that you are deeply loved and cherished by the Father, so regardless of what has happened in your life recently, the Lord remains firmly on your side as your Helper and Comforter. He has not abandoned you, rejected you, or given up on you. Instead, He stands ready to bring you into victory if you will return to Him and seek His help, guidance, and support.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that one of the greatest struggles we as followers of Jesus face is forgetting that the Lord does not see us the way we see ourselves. So even when we are focused on our failures, shortcomings, and mistakes, the Lord continues to work all things together for our good according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Too often, we dwell too much on our failures and condemn ourselves, by following a destructive trail of negative thinking initiated by the devil that produces fear, instability, timidity, and unbelief.

The Holy Spirit highlighted how this attitude stands in contrast to the confidence the Lord desires for us His children to have in His immutability to fulfil His word to us. In Mark 4:41, after Jesus calmed the wind and the sea, the disciples were filled with fear and amazement, asking, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” The lesson is that when we focus on the circumstances, failures, and limitations, fear increases, but once we focus on Jesus and His authority, our faith rises.

The Lord does not want us lying defeated on the floor under the weight of condemnation, but He wants us lifted up and riding with Him in His chariots of glory, sharing in His victory and living from the reality of His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to Jesus’ words in John 4:23–24 which reads these words: “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth.” These words reveal the Father’s heart.

They were spoken to a Samaritan woman whose life was marked by broken relationships and personal failure. She had five husbands and was living with a man who was not her husband. Yet Jesus approached her not with condemnation, but with an invitation into the life He had intended for her to have. This demonstrated the extraordinary love of the Father by showing that He is actively seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and truth and not merely those who possess religious knowledge, theological sophistication, or impressive doctrine, but those who genuinely seek Him as a Person and desire to live in the reality of His righteousness and Kingdom every day.

While studying the Gospel of John, the Holy Spirit contrasted John 3 and John 4 for me, paying particular attention to the difference between Nicodemus and the Samaritan woman. Through this comparison, He revealed how He the Lord views people differently from how human beings often do. Nicodemus on the one hand was a respected religious leader, a teacher of the law, and a student of Scripture. So he believed he understood the Lord because of his knowledge and position in the Jewish community. Jesus engaged him in a conversation about being born again and entering the Kingdom of God.

Yet despite all his learning and religious experience, Nicodemus was left confused and uncertain. He could not fully grasp the life Jesus was offering him because he had information about the law but lacked transformation through relationship. Nicodemus had knowledge on how to keep laws but had not revelation of the truth an as a result, he left Jesus without the confidence or faith necessary to share the message of the truth that we must be born of the Spirit with others. In sharp contrast, the Samaritan woman encountered Jesus and immediately responded to His offer of living water.

Jesus revealed that the water He gives becomes a fountain of life within a person and she gladly received His words with faith, embraced the truth He offered, and experienced a life-changing encounter. The result was immediate transformation to the point that she forgot about the natural water she had originally come to draw because she had found something infinitely greater. She had encountered the source of eternal life Himself.

After receiving this living water which Jesus gives us, she ran back to her city and shared her testimony with everyone she encountered. So because she had personally experienced Jesus, her words now carried life causing the people to listen to her, which prompted them to come to Jesus for themselves, hear His words, and then believe in Him. They drank from the source of living water directly and experienced transformation. Jesus went on to remain with them, teaching and depositing more life into them, and an entire community was impacted because one person had responded to truth.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that this is why the Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth. Such people receive the truth the Lord offers and follow Him wherever He leads and their lives become pathways to greater life, greater joy, and greater Kingdom impact. In contrast with the religious crowd bent on law keeping, there are endless debates about theology, intellectual arguments, and religious discussions which often leave people thirsty, confused, and unchanged. Knowledge alone does not produce life so only true worshippers receive the Lord’s life and become channels through which that life can flows to others.

Jesus’ challenge to Nicodemus highlights this reality because how could a teacher of Israel possess so much knowledge of the laws of God and yet not understand how to bring people into life? Meanwhile, a woman with a troubled past encountered Jesus and immediately became an instrument through which a city was drawn into the Kingdom. The difference was not through education, status, or reputation but the difference was her responsiveness to the truth in faith.

The Samaritan woman received what Jesus offered, while Nicodemus struggled with what he thought he already knew. The Holy Spirit pointed out that this explains why Jesus intentionally waited at the well for the Samaritan woman because He knew that once she encountered truth and life, she would respond positively. He saw beyond her failures, beyond her history, and beyond society’s labels concerning her past life.

He saw a vessel through whom His life could flow to many others and her past did not disqualify her but rather it caused, her encounter with Jesus to transform her into a carrier of living water. This truth should transform the way we as followers of Jesus view ourselves and others because the Lord often chooses people whom society overlooks.

The Lord specialises in healing broken hearts, restoring wounded lives, and transforming those who have experienced failure into vessels of His glory. The Lord values responsiveness to His voice more than religious credentials pointing to the fact that those who have been forgiven much often love much, and those who have experienced the Lord’s mercy deeply are frequently among the most effective carriers of His grace to others.

This message concludes with a prayer that everyone who receives these truths would drink deeply from the living water of Jesus and become carriers of that same life. As we the followers of Jesus allow the Holy Spirit to fill us, the living water within us will overflow to others who are spiritually thirsty. Through this process, a multitude of souls will be restored, through lives transformed, hearts healed, and many brought into the Kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit desires to lead us the followers of Jesus to those who are ready to embrace Jesus in spirit and truth so that His Kingdom may advance powerfully throughout communities and nations. Ultimately, this message calls for us the followers of Jesus to abandon self-condemnation, by embracing the Father’s love, adopting the Lord’s perspective concerning people, and become living channels through which the life of Jesus flows to a thirsty world.

It is an invitation for us to see people not according to their failures, but according to what the Lord can do through them when they encounter His grace. It is a call to worship in spirit and truth, and to drink from the River of Life, and to become carriers of that life for the glory of God. Father, I thank You that I am loved, cherished, and accepted by You and I declare that no failure, mistake, disappointment, or recent circumstance can separate me from Your love or Your purpose for my life.

According to Romans 8:28, I believe that You are working all things together for my good as I walk according to Your purpose. I renounce every spirit of condemnation, fear, timidity, and self-accusation and I refuse to remain on the floor of defeat, but I receive the grace to rise up and walk with You in the chariots of Your glory. Just as the disciples marvelled in Mark 4:41, I declare that my eyes are being opened to see the greatness of Jesus, who commands even the wind and the sea and whose authority is above every circumstance in my life.

I declare that I am becoming a true worshipper who worships the Father in spirit and truth according to John 4:23–24 because I seek not merely religion, doctrine, or intellectual knowledge, but a living relationship with Jesus Christ. So I receive the righteousness, life, and reality of His Kingdom operating in me daily.

I declare that I will not be like Nicodemus, by relying on my knowledge without transformation. Instead, I will respond like the Samaritan lady, who received the living water Jesus offered and allowed it to transform her life. I choose revelation over religion, relationship over routine, and life over mere information.

I declare that the living water of Jesus is becoming a fountain of water within me, overflowing to everyone around me. I will be a carrier of His presence, His truth, His healing, and His life and those who encounter me will encounter the testimony of Jesus and be drawn to the source of living water.

I declare that the Lord is healing broken hearts, restoring wounded lives, and using those whom the world has overlooked to advance His Kingdom. So I receive His Divine perspective concerning myself and others and I will see people through the eyes of grace and potential rather than through the lens of failure and human judgment.

I declare that nations will serve Jesus in spirit and truth as Souls will be saved, lives will be restored, as joy will break forth, and the Kingdom of God will advance in power and glory. The river of life will flow through me to a thirsty generation, and many will come to know Jesus because of the testimony of His life working in and through me in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Today I conclude my communion time from yesterday on receiving manifested answers to your prayers .

The critical issue for us as followers of Jesus is us knowing where the Lord is leading us to stand in order for us to receive the harvest, rather than allowing our flesh to push us into a place where the results of our prayers are aborted which can be very demoralising. We are not to allow our flesh to abort the harvest of answered prayers. There is a dangerous contrast between praying with tremendous expectation and then failing to reap because of fleshly responses, because we can begin prayer with a high level of expectation and confidence. However if we do not remain spiritually attentive during the waiting period, we can eventually move from high expectation to no expectation.

After praying and waiting for what seems like an endless period without visible results, discouragement can easily take over and this can make things appear like everything has been lost. This transition period from faith-filled expectation to hopelessness is precisely where the enemy wants to take us because it exposes the weakness of the flesh. But the revelation from the Holy Spirit always reveals another possibility that the answer may not be lost at all because the Lord is always willing to help us recover what we have missed or lost. Remember that your prayer answers are never lost because they come from the Lord.

One of the greatest insights from this revelation is the understanding that our prayer answers are not necessarily lost simply because we did not recognise or reap them at the time.

This is because the answers to the prayers are stored with the Lord until we come to Him in the Holy Spirit and discover the path into experiencing the answers here on earth. The Holy Spirit can show us how to cooperate with the Lord so that what has been prayed for can move into manifestation in the natural. This fact means that what appeared to be years of unanswered prayer may not have been evidence that the Lord refused to respond to us with an answer.

There may be prayer harvests that were sown through years of fervent prayer but were never properly reaped because we failed to track the process of answer in the Spirit. So this revelation therefore carries tremendous hope that we can recover answers to prayers that we may have missed over years of praying fervently. We can reap the Lord’s results that were gained when we prayed and bring those results into the realm of manifestation on earth through walking with the Holy Spirit. And when the prayer cycle is completed, the result is always fullness of joy. The effect of this revelation upon the intercessors was immediate.

They had entered the conversation in a place of despondency because of their prolonged experience of praying without seeing the desired results. But when the Holy Spirit opened their understanding and revealed what had been happening, their emotional and spiritual posture changed and they moved from despondency to excitement and great expectation as they became ready to go after their harvests again. This realisation that their prayers had not necessarily been lost transformed their outlook. So instead of seeing themselves as being abandoned by the Lord, they now understood that there was a spiritual pathway they could pursue with the Holy Spirit.

They were now ready to recover their harvests in the name of Jesus under the tutorship of the Holy Spirit which guarantees the miraculous to get the job done. This fact of restoration demonstrates the graciousness of the Lord towards His Own because He does not merely tell us that we missed something but He illuminates our understanding and shows us the way how to recover what we failed to receive previously.

This word is therefore offered as a source of grace for anyone who has become discouraged because of a lack of visible answers to prayer. Please do not allow despondency to convince you that the Lord does not care and do not interpret delay as abandonment by concluding that years of fervent prayer have been wasted simply because you have not yet seen the manifestation of the answer.

Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to awaken you to your spiritual heritage by asking Him to show you how to reap your prayer answers. Ask Him to show you where you need to stand in the spirit and exercise authority over the enemy. Then do what the Holy Spirit guides you to do no matter the cost. Ask the Holy what attitudes, reactions, behaviours, or fleshly responses you made that may have interfered with your ability to receive the harvest, ask Him to teach you how to remain spiritually alert as harvest time approaches.

Remember that the goal is not merely to pray more but it is for you to learn how to walk in closer union with the Holy Spirit throughout the entire prayer cycle. This is because there is a time to sow your prayer requests, then comes the time to watch in the Spirit where you must cooperate with the Holy Spirit and there is a time to reap the answered prayer, and there is a time to rejoice in the manifested answer. The Holy Spirit wants to teach us how to walk through every part of that process so we stop coming short of answers to prayer because the Lord is our answer and also our exceedingly great reward.

This revelation should reignite your resolve to walk more closely with the Holy Spirit because it reminds us that prayer is worth everything. It is worth committing our hearts, our faith, our time, our expectations, and our entire lives to the Lord through prayer as Jesus did in His walk and ministry on earth. Ultimately, we must remember that the Lord Himself is our answer and our exceedingly great reward. Therefore, even when circumstances appear impossible, we continue trusting Him because He is able to make the impossible possible.

We are never to allow the appearance of delay to redefine the Lord’s character in our lives and, we must not allow unanswered questions to make us believe that the Lord has abandoned us. Instead, we are to turn again to the Holy Spirit, who can restore our perspective, reveal the pathway forward, and position us to receive what the Lord has already prepared. The prayer harvests we may have missed are never beyond recovery and the Holy Spirit can guide us to where we need to be, by showing us how we need to respond, and reveal the way we need to walk so that the harvest can be brought into manifestation.

The ultimate purpose of this revelation is not just merely receiving things from the Lord but it is about us experiencing the restoration of the joy associated with answered prayer to fulfil Jesus’s desire for us that our joy may be full which translates to us being strengthened. Therefore, the Holy Spirit wants to lead us into the completion of the prayer cycle so that what was sown in prayer is eventually reaped and experienced in our daily lives. So that what once produced discouragement can become a testimony of triumph.

What appeared to be lost can be recovered and what looked impossible can become a manifestation of God’s mighty hand. What had produced despondency can become a source of excitement and renewed faith as what seemed like an unanswered prayer becomes an opportunity to learn a deeper level of union with the Holy Spirit. So today, receive grace to awaken you from despondency with more abundant grace to pursue the Lord again. Receive grace to learn how to remain spiritually watchful to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to receive the grace to recover the prayer harvests that have remained not manifested.

May the Holy Spirit guide you into where to stand, how to respond, and the way to walk so that the various prayer harvests you have sown may be recovered and manifested in the natural. May the joy you have missed through incomplete prayer cycles be restored and may your resolve to walk with the Holy Spirit become stronger, as you discover again the reality that it is worth everything to pray, trust, wait, cooperate, and to commit your all to the Lord. May you experience the Lord Himself as your answer and your exceedingly great reward in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I declare that every prayer harvest appointed for my life that I have failed to recognise, receive, or reap is being brought back into the light by the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. So I receive grace to recover what I thought was lost. In Jesus name I receive grace to return to places of faith where discouragement had pushed me away. I receive grace to pursue the Lord again with fervency and expectation.

I declare that the enemy will no longer turn my waiting season into a season of hopelessness and my earnest expectation will not die, as my faith will not collapse, and my prayers will no longer be empty religious exercises. I declare that I am learning to walk in closer union with the Holy Spirit throughout the entire prayer cycle of sowing, watching, waiting, cooperating, reaping, and rejoicing. I declare that the Lord is showing me where He is, how He is working, and where I need to position myself to receive what He has prepared for me.

I declare that impossible situations are being transformed by the mighty hand of the Lord and what appeared beyond human ability is not beyond the Lord’s ability to overturn because He is the Lord who makes the impossible possible. I declare that the joy associated with answered prayer is being restored back to me, and I will ask, receive, and experience the fullness of joy that Jesus promised. I declare that the years of fervent prayers are not wasted. By the grace and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, I am discovering how to recover my missed prayer harvests and bring God-results into manifestation on earth.

I declare that my passion for prayer being answered is being reignited and my expectation is being restored because my resolve is becoming stronger, as my confidence in the Lord’s faithfulness is being renewed. And above every answer I seek, I declare that the Lord Himself is my answer and my exceedingly great reward. Holy Spirit, please guide me to where I need to be, as you teach me how I need to walk, and show me how to reap every harvest You have prepared.

I will not give up and I will not faint. I will not abandon my place of prayer because I will walk with the Holy Spirit until the prayer cycle is complete and my joy is full as the manifestation of my answers come into being in the natural. My harvest is not lost so my earnest expectation is alive because My Lord is faithful to fulfil His promise of answered prayers, and I will see His mighty hand at work in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am sharing the first part of my communion time which focused on having answered prayer.

The Holy Spirit continually desires to expand our thought processes, enlarge our desires, and fill us with the Lord’s way of doing things and being right. He wants to bring us beyond our natural ways of thinking so that we can understand spiritual realities and cooperate with Him in experiencing the Lord’s purposes in our lives.

This morning, I was reminded of something the Holy Spirit spoke to me while I was ministering in Freetown, Sierra Leone, to a group of intercessors who had gone through a very difficult season of not receiving answers to prayer. They desperately needed encouragement, strengthening, and lifting so that they could continue meeting together and remain steadfast in interceding for the country.

The message the Holy Spirit gave me for them remains deeply relevant because discouragement is one of the enemy’s strategies for taking the Lord’s people off track because discouragement can make us misinterpret what the Lord is saying. We must understand that when our prayers seem unanswered while problems continue mounting, the experience can become extremely demoralising and heart-wrenching to the point where it begins to look as though the Lord does not care, or that He is deliberately ignoring the situation, or that He has abandoned those who are praying.

However that is certainly not the reality, so the answer is not in us concluding that the Lord has stopped listening. Instead, we must refocus our attention on the Holy Spirit and allow Him to show us the way forward from where we have fallen. The Holy Spirit always has a clear pathway available for us that brings us back to spiritual reality which restores us back to an awareness of how great our God is and how powerfully He is able to intervene in negative circumstances.

The Lord is able to change situations miraculously as He always makes the impossible possible by His mighty hand. Therefore, when discouragement begins to tell us that nothing is happening, we must resist that interpretation and turn our attention back to the asking the Holy Spirit for the necessary wisdom to move forward. He can show us what is happening spiritually and reveal the pathway into the manifestation of what the Lord has promised regardless of where we missed it.

The Holy Spirit gave a particular revelation while teaching these intercessors about “all kinds of prayers in the Spirit” from Ephesians 6:18. The revelation was that prayer is a seed that we sow to the Lord in the Spirit, while the answer to prayer is the harvest that we must also reap in the Spirit. This instantly revealed what had been happening to the intercessors because they had been praying intensely and fervently in the Spirit as they were faithfully sowing their prayer seeds. However, they had become very negligent when it came to reaping the harvest in the Spirit.

It was made clear to them that when the time came for the harvest, they repeatedly responded in the flesh. So instead of remaining spiritually alert and cooperating with the Holy Spirit, they were acting according to the flesh when the harvest was due. This had resulted in strife, arguments, and conflict, amongst them and consequently they were not seeing the results for which they had prayed for happening, because they were sowing continually but were not reaping which revealed clearly that the problem was not that the Lord was unwilling to answer.

The problem was that they were failing to participate with the Holy Spirit in the spiritual process required to receive the harvest. One of the most important parts of the revelation was that they were not watching in the Spirit as the time of harvest approached because although they were spiritually alert when they were praying, they were not maintaining that same spiritual watchfulness when it was time to reap the harvest of answered prayer. Consequently, they were continually caught off guard by the enemy at harvest time.

Their fleshly reactions at critical moments were interfering with the manifestation of what they had been praying for. So when this truth was shared with them, something remarkable happened the eyes of each persons heart were opened and there was a noticeable sense of relief in the atmosphere because they suddenly understood what had been happening.

They realised that their situation did not mean that the Lord had stopped hearing them of had not abandoned them. It became clear to them that their prayers had not simply disappeared but rather, that there was something they themselves needed to change in the way they were cooperating with the Holy Spirit in order to reap the harvest of answered prayers.

The problem was that they had neglected an important part of their prayer process which was contributing to the lack of manifested answers to their prayers. So once they understood this and made the necessary adjustment, through repentance they could return back to the place of walking in answers to prayer and experience the joy associated with answered prayer. Remember that Jesus always connected prayer and answered prayer with fullness of joy in their lives and that the promise of when we ask we receive, so that our joy becomes full.

Therefore, prayer is not intended to leave us permanently in a cycle of always asking, waiting, with no results which leads to disappointment, and despair. There is a complete cycle to prayer which is that we sow, we wait, by cooperating with the Holy Spirit, to reap the answer, so we experience the joy related to the manifested answer.

The revelation of cooperating with the Holy Spirit in reaping the answer to prayer became a source of light and understanding to the intercessors present who received the revelation. Understanding of this process ignited a renewed passion to walk in closer union with the Holy Spirit so that could be properly positioned to reap what the Lord had prepared for them.

I declare that discouragement will no longer take me off course because I refuse to interpret delayed manifestations as evidence that the Lord has abandoned me, ignored me, or stopped caring about my situation. So I boldly declare that my attention is turning again to the Holy Spirit as He is opening my understanding and showing me the way forward by revealing the pathways through which I will cooperate with the Lord and walk into the manifestation of what has been sown in my prayer times.

I declare that my prayers are not wasted and the seeds I have sown in the Spirit are producing a harvest in answers, so I am receiving more grace to reap in the Spirit what I requested from the Lord. I declare that I will not allow my flesh to interfere with my harvest and that I will never again be caught spiritually unprepared when the answer to my prayers comes due and I will remain watchful, discerning, obedient, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Where I have reacted in the flesh, Holy Spirit, please show me and where I have missed Your leading, teach me to turn back quickly in repentance. Where I have stood in the wrong place, please reposition me and where I have failed to recognise the appointed harvest time, awaken my understanding.

I declare that every prayer harvest appointed for my life that I have failed to recognise, receive, or reap is being brought back into the light by the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit for me to now reap in Jesus Name. Amen.

Today I share the conclusion of my communion time with the Holy Spirit.

Do we continue thinking negatively when the Lord is inviting us to learn how He processes situations beyond our human limitations? These questions matter because our willingness to be corrected determines how much we can continue hearing and understanding from the Holy Spirit. The question remains as to whether we will allow the Holy Spirit to change our thought processing to line up with His. The Holy Spirit is asking us whether we are willing to change our thoughts today and embrace a new and fuller truth, or whether we will avoid the areas of confrontation He is asking us to deal with.

Our cooperation with Him is absolutely necessary for us to correctly interpret truth and the Lord’s facts in any situation. I have come to understand that there can be a difference between what the Lord says about a situation and how we interpret that situation through our existing experiences, assumptions, fears, and preconceived ideas. Therefore, spiritual maturity requires us to surrender to His will. We must allow the Holy Spirit to change us from the inside out because He wants access not merely to our outward behaviour but to our entire inner person which includes our minds, our wills, emotions, and our intellect because this is how He makes us new.

This message includes a personal testimony illustrating the importance of humility and dependence upon the Holy Spirit when we hear His voice. I recall vividly the occasion, when the Holy Spirit asked me what would happen when I saw “Jezebel” operating in the church. My initial response was essentially, “I know her now.” Because through Holy Spirit discernment I had previously received concerning the spirit’s operation, I was confident that the situation could be navigated successfully.

That presumed confidence proved to be a big mistake because the reality was that the influence and operation of this spirit within the church had not been fully understood in its fullness and I had assumed I had full understanding. There was another experience of me being hurt in the church because of the deception I had concerning how the spirit was operating through believers or followers of Jesus. The lesson was clear to me that previous discernment does not mean we have complete knowledge for the next situation.

The Holy Spirit later provided another opportunity for me to respond differently when in another situation involving the prophetic arm of the church, the Holy Spirit again asked me what I would do when I encountered “Jezebel” operating through prophecy in the Church. This time my response was different and I asked Him saying: “Lord, I don’t know. Please help me. I am not skilled to deal with such issues.” That response reflected humility and dependence on Him rather than confidence in my personal gift of discernment.

What followed was very significant because the reality of the spirit’s operation within the house of the Lord was far more extensive than I previously understood, particularly within leadership roles in prophetic ministry. What I discovered was startling and could have been crushing on me had I responded by saying I knew its operation. However because the Holy Spirit was allowed to lead me through the events which happened, the outcome was completely different and the experience resulted in the truth triumphing , greater freedom, liberty in the Spirit, and no spiritual defilement in my heart.

This testimony therefore becomes an expression of gratitude from me to: Thank You, precious Holy Spirit, for Your help and guidance which delivered me from so great a conflict. The same kind of situation arose later concerning the apostolic arm of the church when again, the Holy Spirit asked me what I thought about the spirit of “Jezebel” operating within the Apostolic branch of the church. Again, my response was not one of assumed mastery but my response was: Lord: “I don’t know. Please teach me how to walk circumspectly with wisdom to navigate this issue.” This posture of humility and dependence allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me through the process.

Through the Holy Spirit’s leading, much loss and unnecessary leadership conflict was avoided, and the experience became an opportunity for me to be seasoned by the Lord and equipped with spiritual understanding to help bring prisoners to the spirit out into the liberty of walking in the Holy Spirit. The result ended up not simply for my personal preservation but the experience produced spiritual equipment that could be used to help, assist, and aid the Lord’s people in their journey through life by the Holy Spirit.

The emphasis throughout the testimony is that the ability to discern did not come from personal strength or natural expertise. It came through the Holy Spirit and His ability, not merely through human ability making it clear that the positioning of our hearts determines our level of hearing. The central lesson is therefore clear for us all because how we position ourselves before the Lord determines how much we will hear from Him. The level of understanding we can walk in going forward is connected to the degree to which we surrender more of our hearts and souls to Him.

That surrender includes our minds, our wills, our emotions, and our intellects because the Holy Spirit wants to transform us from the inside out. He wants to make us brand new, but this requires our cooperation, so we cannot stubbornly hold onto to our preconceived ideas and simultaneously expect to receive the fullness of the Lord’s truth. If we insist that we already know, we risk missing out on what the Holy Spirit wants to teach us to expand our understanding of spiritual things.

If we keep defending our existing interpretation instead of surrendering it, we can lose access to a fuller understanding of the Lord’s truth and His ways. If we refuse correction, we can hinder our progression into the greater works the Lord wants to reveal to us for this season. Therefore, humility is absolutely essential and the proper posture for us is not, “I know,” but it is: “Lord, I don’t know, but it is Lord teach me, Lord help me by showing me how to walk in wisdom.”

We must embrace the leading of the Holy Spirit because He is the One who causes us to triumph in every area of life. The purpose of Jesus’ coming was that we would have life and have it in its fullest measure. Therefore, we should never settle for merely surviving spiritually, but we should continually pursue the fullness of life that Christ came to give us. This requires us living in a place of complete union with the Holy Spirit and our union with Him is not a one-time experience. It requires a continued daily surrender, continued listening, continued waiting, continued correction, and continued hunger for the things of the Lord.

Every morning presents another opportunity for us to wait at wisdom’s door because every day has something new the Holy Spirit wants to say, and every day has something new the Lord wants us to learn. Every day always presents another fresh opportunity for us to surrender our hearts more deeply to the Lord so we become more conformed to His image and likeness. Thus every day can lead us into greater understanding of the Father’s will.

The Holy Spirit is therefore inviting us into a lifestyle of daily longing for more and not us just merely celebrating yesterday’s revelation, by merely living on yesterday’s victory. We must not assume that yesterday’s discernment is sufficient for today’s situation, and we are not to allow yesterday’s experience to become a substitute for today’s fellowship. Instead, we should wake up each morning with the posture of Proverbs 8:34 which is waiting patiently at wisdom’s doorway and longing to hear the word for the day.

We are to stand watch as Habakkuk 2:1 describes, by being willing not only to hear what the Lord will say, but also to be ready to receive correction. We are to repent quickly and sincerely when the Holy Spirit exposes something that needs to change by quickly releasing our preconceived ideas. This gives us liberty to surrender our minds, wills, emotions, and intellect which allows the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out.

And whenever we encounter something beyond our understanding, we must resist the temptation to say, “I know.” Instead, we should say: “Lord, I don’t know. Please teach me how to discern correctly by helping me wait on your wisdom. Then show me by teaching me how to walk circumspectly with the wisdom you give me.” That posture is what creates room for the Holy Spirit to lead us, protect us, correct us, teach us, equip us, and prepare us for the greater works the Lord has in store for us.

This invitation is to go deeper into union with the Holy Spirit so we get to hear more clearly, understand more fully, and walk more accurately in the will of the Father for our individual lives. May these truths as we permit them to take root in our hearts release the grace necessary for us to carry us further in our hearing and understanding the Holy Spirit’s instructions. May we grow closer to Him and enter a much higher and greater level of the knowledge of Lord’s will for our lives. Amen.

I declare that I will wait at wisdom’s doorway every morning with hunger, zeal, passion, and earnest expectation for what the Holy Spirit wants to say to me concerning today. I will not live merely from yesterday’s victories, yesterday’s revelations, or yesterday’s experiences. I receive grace to hunger for the fresh word, fresh wisdom, fresh direction, and fresh grace that the Holy Spirit has prepared for me each day.

I declare that I am the Lord’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that He has prepared for me to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). So I will position myself to recognise and walk in those good works through fellowship with the Holy Spirit. I declare that my heart is open to correction and I will not make excuses for what the Holy Spirit exposes. I will not deny truth, and I will not stubbornly defend my preconceived ideas. I will not allow guilt, shame, sin, pride, or wrong thinking to hinder my spiritual hearing.

I receive the grace for genuine repentance and a heart that responds quickly when the Holy Spirit corrects me. I declare that my mind, my will, my emotions, and my intellect are surrendered to the Lord. I am being transformed from the inside out and I am becoming increasingly aligned with the truth, wisdom, and purposes of the Lord. When I encounter situations beyond my understanding, I will not rely upon yesterday’s discernment or my own ability, but I will say, “Lord, I don’t know. Please help me. Please teach me how to walk circumspectly with wisdom.”

I declare that the Holy Spirit is my Helper, Teacher, Guide, Corrector, and Counsellor and His ability is working through me, and He is equipping me with everything necessary to fulfil the good works the God has prepared for me to do on earth. I declare that I will hear the voice of the Lord with increasing clarity and I will understand His correction with increasing maturity. I will discern His ways with increasing wisdom and I will walk in greater truth, greater freedom, greater liberty, and greater spiritual understanding.

I declare that the Holy Spirit will lead me safely through troubled waters and difficult circumstances into places of triumph and I will not be spiritually defiled by what I encounter because I am learning to depend upon His wisdom rather than my own. I declare that the zeal of the Lord is increasing within me and just like Jesus, whose zeal for His Father’s house consumed Him (John 2:17), I will be consumed with passion for the Lord and His purposes.

I declare that I will experience the greater works that the Father desires to reveal through and in me (John 5:20-21). I receive grace to experience the fullness of Christ’s life and the reality of His prayer for His people in (John 17:22-26). I will continually position myself before the Lord, by standing upon my watch, to listen for His voice, to receive His correction, and respond in obedience to His correction.(Habakkuk 2:1).

I declare that I am moving deeper into union with the Holy Spirit and I am growing in the full knowledge of the Lord’s will for my individual life. I will not settle for just bursts of partial understanding when the Holy Spirit is inviting me into walk in the knowledge of much greater truth. I say yes, Lord that I want all that You have prepared for me and I surrender more of myself to You.

Please teach me the right things to do, by correcting me where necessary, do a work of transformation in me, then guide me, equip me, and lead me into the greater works You have prepared for me to accomplish on earth to glorify the name of Jesus. I will confidently wait at wisdom’s door, to hear what You say, and walk faithfully in what You reveal to me in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today I am sharing the first part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on positioning ourselves to walk in the Lord’s ordained miraculous path for our lives.

The Holy Spirit asks us a searching question each morning about What do we long for most each day, and how are we positioning ourselves to receive that desire? There is something the Holy Spirit has available for us in every moment of each day, but the question is whether we are willing to surrender ourselves so completely that He can have reign and rule in our lives.

The Lord has already prepared works, pathways, and purposes for us to walk in. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that the Lord prepared beforehand for us to walk in. Therefore, our daily responsibility is not merely to determine what we want to accomplish but to position ourselves to discover what the Holy Spirit has prepared for us for that particular day.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, my attention was drawn to Proverbs 8:34 which reads these words: “If you wait at wisdom’s doorway, longing to hear a word for every day, joy will break forth within you as you listen for what I’ll say.” This Scripture has been used by the Holy Spirit over the years to communicate profound truth and provide practical guidance to me for navigating life. Through the grace supplied in the Lord’s promises, there have been pathways created out of troubled waters and difficult situations that ultimately led to safe endings and places of triumph.

However today the Holy Spirit is emphasising something fresh again that we must be willing to wait at wisdom’s door every morning, longing with zeal, passion, and earnest expectation for what He wants to say concerning today. This passion for wisdom cannot become a casual spiritual routine for us but it must become a deep intimate hunger for knowing the Lord. The Holy Spirit I have recognised over the years continually seeks to increase our passion for Jesus. This is reflected in Jesus’ Own zeal for His Father’s house recorded in John 2:17 Which reads these words: “Zeal for the Father’s House has consumed Me.”

The question therefore is not merely whether we were passionate for the Lord yesterday. The question for today is: How desperate are we for what Lord has in store for us today? Yesterday may have been wonderful and yesterday may have contained extraordinary victories, breakthroughs, revelations, or triumphs. However yesterday is gone and the Kingdom of the Lord always has more available for today. We must not become so satisfied with yesterday’s triumphs that we lose our hunger for today’s provision.

We must continue longing with all our hearts for what the Holy Spirit has placed on today’s spiritual menu. This is the burning passion the Lord desires from us which is a continual hunger for more of Him and for what He is planning to reveal for today. Remember that there is always more available in the Kingdom. John 5:20-21 reveals the Father’s heart concerning the greater works to come: “For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.”

The Father was not withholding His best from Jesus but because of His love for the Son, He showed Him what He was doing and promised to show Him greater works so that people would marvel. This reveals something about the Father’s heart which is that He desires to lavish His goodness and His works upon His Son for people to see and marvel. The reality is that what the Father desired for Jesus is also exactly what Jesus desires His followers to experience. John 17:22-26 reveals Jesus’ desire for His followers to share in the glory, love, presence, and union He has with the Father.

Jesus wants His people to experience the reality of His life in them and for us to know the Father’s love. Therefore, our response should be a wholehearted yes to the Lord: by saying these words “Lord, I want to experience everything You have in store for me. I long with earnest expectation for the more You have prepared for me, so give me more grace to go deeper with You so that I can experience all that You have.” This is not greed for earthly things but it is spiritual hunger for the fullness of what Lord has prepared for us to experience here on earth.

The Holy Spirit then intensified the conversation by pointing to Habakkuk 2:1 which reads these words: “I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected.” This passage reveals the importance of our spiritual positioning. Habakkuk deliberately placed himself in a position to hear from the Lord and stood watch because he was confident that the Lord would speak to him. He positioned himself on the rampart and watched for what the Lord would say, but he also recognised the fact that the Lord’s response would include correction.

Our positioning before the Lord is crucial because it affects what we are able to hear from Him. We cannot approach the Lord while stubbornly protecting everything we already believe and expect to hear clearly. We must clear our hearts and souls of whatever could hinder our ability to hear the voice of the Lord in the now. We must deliberately position ourselves each day to listen for what He is speaking concerning today so we can correct ourselves. We must also be spiritually alert and ready to observe what the Lord has placed before us without allowing guilt, shame, sin, or other spiritual impediments to obstruct His voice.

We must be certain of the fact that true, heartfelt repentance is therefore of primary importance in our lives because repentance always reconnects us to the Lord. If we refuse to deal honestly with what the Holy Spirit is confronting in us, our spiritual hearing becomes compromised because our hearts are polluted and compromised by a lack of confidence leading to doubt and unbelief. We must always remember that the Holy Spirit is not merely a Comforter who tells us what we want to hear but He is also the Corrector of false things in our lives.

Habakkuk understood that the important question was not merely, “What will God say?” but also, “What will I answer when I am corrected?” This is because our response to correction determines our forward progression into greater works of the Lord. So when the Holy Spirit reveals something false, unhealthy, sinful, immature, or distorted in us, what do we do? Do we make excuses for our behaviour? Or Do we deny the facts of truth He is showing us? Or Do we defend ourselves rather than surrender to the necessary correction before us? Or Do we just dismiss the “small things” that repeatedly beset us without considering what they are doing to our character?

Today I share the conclusion of my Communion time with the Holy Spirit on living in the realm of the Spirit of our heavenly Father.

We as followers of Jesus are called to remember the sacrifice of Christ for us continually because on the night Jesus was betrayed, after His followers had denied and abandoned Him, He took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them, declaring that it was His body broken for them. He then took the cup and declared it to be the New Covenant in His blood, shed for the remission of sins. This is recorded in Luke 22:17-20. where Jesus specifically instructed His followers to do this in remembrance of Him. Partaking of communion therefore continually brings us back to the reality of what Jesus accomplished on our behalf.

The statements Jesus made concerning His body and blood are immutable. They establish our right to experience the benefits of everything He accomplished for us. His sacrifice changed our position before the Lord and opened the way for us to live from a new covenant, a new heritage, and a new spiritual identity we inherited from Christ. Jesus we are told came to save us from our enemies and from the power of those who hate us so we could serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness all the days of our lives. Luke.1:71,74-75. He did not come to condemn us, because humanity was already under condemnation and subject to death.

The purpose of His coming was to rescue us from what sin had produced and restore us to the life God intended for us. Luke 1:71, 74-75 speaks of us being saved from our enemies and delivered from the hand of those who hate us so that we might serve God without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. We were experiencing the wages of sin, which is death. But Jesus paid the price so that we could now experience the wages of righteousness, which is life. This fact is consistent with the declaration of John 10:10, where Jesus says that He came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Therefore, the Christian life is not merely about us being rescued from punishment. It is about us entering into and experiencing the life Christ purchased for us to live on earth. Jesus came so that what sin had robbed from us could be restored and so that we could experience the abundance of life that flows from our new position in Him. One of the greatest battles we face is the attempt of the accuser to make us forget our new identity.

Revelation 12:10-12 identifies Satan as the accuser of the brethren, and the one who accuses them before God day and night. His strategy is to attack our minds and attempt to pull us out of the place of security that Christ purchased for us. The enemy seeks to use the iniquity associated with our natural heritage as ammunition against our spiritual identity because he wants us to look backward at where we came from instead of looking at what Christ has accomplished for us and who we have now become in Him. However the Holy Spirit comes to remind us of the truth.

So when accusations arise, we must remember that our natural heritage is not our highest heritage. Our past does not have the authority to define our future. The iniquity we inherited from family no longer has the final word over the life we now possess in Christ because we have been born of God. We have received the right to become children of God because we have been brought into a new covenant of life.

We have been delivered from the handwriting of requirements that stood against us because Jesus became sin for us and bore our punishment, and He came to save us from our enemies and deliver us from the fear and dominion that held us captive. Jesus came so that we might experience life and life that more abundantly. Therefore, we must stop allowing the enemy to define us by the history of our natural birth when the Lord has given us a new spiritual birth.

The Holy Spirit is continually calling us back to the truth of our identity by reminding us that we belong to God. So our confidence must come from us knowing whose we are, knowing what Christ has done for us, and knowing what has become available to us as children of our heavenly Father.

We are no longer called to live from the limitations of our earthly heritage but from the limitless reality of our heavenly inheritance. The spiritual benefits of heaven are not merely distant promises we hope for, but through Christ, we have been given the right and privilege to experience the life of our heavenly Father’s house here on earth.

The call from the Holy Spirit, therefore, is for us to renew our minds, transform our hearts, recognise our spiritual position, reject the accusations of the enemy, and walk confidently in the authority and privileges of our new birth in Christ. We must allow the Holy Spirit to continually remind us that our origin in God is far greater than our history in the flesh.

I declare that I am born of God and my identity is established in Him. I refuse to be defined by my natural heritage, my family history, former iniquities, past failures, or the accusations of the enemy because I belong to my heavenly Father, and I walk in the rights and privileges of His household.

I declare that every handwriting of requirements that stood against me has been cancelled and taken away through the finished work of Jesus Christ. So every accusation of the enemy is silenced by the blood of the New Covenant and I am free from the dominion of sin and I am delivered from the oppression of the devil.

I declare that Jesus has taken my place, by carrying my sin, bearing my punishment, and opened the way for me to live in the freedom and righteousness He purchased for me. Therefore, I receive the life He came to give me which is life and life more abundantly. I declare that I will not live from the limitations of my earthly origin any longer, but from the reality of my heavenly birth. I am a child of God and I know whose I am, and to whom I belong , and I know whom I serve fully.

Holy Spirit, I ask you to continually remind me of my true identity and teach me how to live from the reality of my new birth. Give me the grace I need to walk confidently in my authority as a child of the Most High God. Let all the spiritual benefits of my heavenly Father’s house become increasingly evident in my life here on earth. I declare that all the accusations of satan will no longer move me, my past will no longer define me, and my inherited iniquity will no longer imprison me, and condemnation will no longer govern my mind.

I am established in Christ Jesus, having being secured by His finished work of death and resurrection, and empowered by His Holy Spirit. I am therefore born of God and I belong to the Lord and I live from the resources of the Lord. I walk boldly in the liberty Christ purchased for me and I receive the life He came to give me, and I will manifest the reality of my heavenly heritage on earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today I am sharing Part:1 of my communion time with the Holy Spirit.

This message comes from a time of communion with the Holy Spirit where He shared the difference between living from our natural heritage and us living from the realm of the Spirit of our heavenly Father. The desire of the Holy Spirit is that we receive grace and total confidence to live out our earthly walk from the reality of heaven, so that the spiritual benefits of our heavenly inheritance become manifest in our lives here on earth as we bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to His position seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven .

As I was worshipping the Lord in the beauty of His holiness, the Holy Spirit began to emphasise the reality that those who have received Christ have been born anew by the Spirit of their heavenly Father. This fact creates a profound distinction between who we were according to our natural birth and who we now are according to our spiritual birth in Christ.

We must learn to live from the reality of being born of God Almighty rather than allowing our natural family history, earthly identity, or inherited patterns of thinking on earth to define our existence. There is a vast difference between us living from the Holy Spirit and all the grace He supplies us from living according to our earthly nature. One of the reasons the Holy Spirit is so important to us is that when family iniquity attempts to overwhelm us through the relentless accusations of Satan, the Holy Spirit reminds us whose we are, to whom we belong, and whom we serve.

The enemy always seeks to use our past, our family background, and the iniquity associated with our natural heritage to frame us according to an identity that Christ has already redeemed us from through His precious blood. Jesus spoke about the operation of workers of iniquity in Luke 13:27. The enemy uses the reality of iniquity in our backgrounds to accuse, limit and define us, by attempting to rob us of the blessings and privileges that belong to us as God’s children.

But the truth is that we who have been born anew by the Spirit of God must recognise our rightful position as children of the Most High God and learn to walk in the authority of that position where we are seated together with Christ in the heavenly places. John 1:13-14 gives us a life-changing revelation concerning our new identity in Christ: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

”The reality of this truth must become more than theological knowledge to us and we are called to meditate upon it until it changes the way we think about ourselves and transforms the way we live out our lives on earth. We must allow our minds to be renewed so that our hearts become established in the reality of our new birth to the point where only what the Lord says about our spiritual identity becomes the governing reality of our everyday lives.

We must remember that this was the reason Christ came into the earth which is to make possible an entirely new existence for humanity to inherit His DNA and divine nature. Luke 2:13-14 points us to the significance of Christ’s coming and the heavenly purpose surrounding His birth because we could not give birth to ourselves. We were born through natural parents, and our natural parents themselves carried the effects of family iniquity.

Consequently, we inherited things that we had no ability to change or remove by ourselves. We were born into natural families with histories, patterns, weaknesses, and iniquities that we could not free ourselves from through our own strength. However when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, we are born anew and we receive a completely different heritage that of God Most High. Our natural birth no longer has the final word concerning who we are as John reveals that we have now been born “of God.”

Therefore, we must learn to live from our new spiritual origin rather than continually allowing our natural origin to define us based on our human limitations. So knowing our rights from being blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places must become our pursuit. Ephesians.1:3 The rights we possess in Christ determine, to a great extent, the kind of life we experience because knowing our rights reveal what is legitimately available to us to draw from.

Once we become children of God, we are entitled to the rights and privileges associated with being members of our heavenly Father’s household. We must therefore become conscious of what is available to us in our Father’s house and learn to live from them. The first great reality of our Father’s house is liberty from the oppression of the devil because in Christ, there is a total separation from sin and iniquity because Jesus dealt completely with the legal demands that stood against us.

Colossians 2:13-15 reveals that Christ forgave our trespasses and cancelled the handwriting of requirements that was against us, removing it from our lives by triumphing over principalities and powers. The enemy may attempt to remind us of what belonged to our former life, but Christ has already dealt with the record that stood against us. So we are not required to continue living under the condemnation or oppression of what Jesus has already removed off our lives. We must remember that Jesus did more than just forgive our sins but He also took our place by becoming sin for us.

This message emphasises an important revelation concerning the work of Christ by revealing that Jesus did not simply wait for us to repent and then decide to forgive us and save us because we made the decision to change. He took our place and He became sin and iniquity for us and bore the punishment of death on our behalf so that we could be free to live for righteousness. Isaiah 53:10-12 reveals the suffering Servant who gave Himself as an offering for sin and bore the iniquities of many.

Therefore, our freedom is not based on our ability to overcome our past through human effort but it is rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ as He carried what belonged to us so that we could receive what belongs to Him. This is why the communion Jesus established is so significant.

I declare that I am born of God and my identity is established in Him. So I refuse to be defined by my natural heritage, my family history, my former iniquities, my past failures, or the accusations of the enemy against me. I belong to my heavenly Father, and I walk in the rights and privileges of His household here on the earth.

I declare that every handwriting of requirements that stood against me has been cancelled through the finished work of Jesus Christ. So every accusation of the enemy against me is silenced by the blood of the New Covenant. I am free from the dominion of sin and I have been delivered from the oppression of the devil.

I declare that Jesus has taken my place, because He carried my sin, bore my punishment, and opened the way for me to live in the freedom and righteousness He purchased for me. Therefore, I receive the life He came to give me which is life and that more abundantly. I declare that I will no longer live from the limitations of my earthly origin but from the reality of my heavenly birth because I am a child of God who knows whose I am, and to whom I belong , and I know whom I serve faithfully in Jesus name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit in my communion time addressed one of the deepest struggles many followers of Jesus face which is what should we do when we continually make mistakes, fall into the same snares, and feel we have disappointed the Lord again?

Firstly rather than allowing failure to produce condemnation in our hearts, the Holy Spirit directs us to a truth from Scripture that completely transforms our perspective, by replacing defeat with hope, restoration, victory, and triumph. This revelation began as the Holy Spirit instructed me over a season of time to study the lives of each of the apostles individually, paying close attention to the characteristics that defined them.

Through this study, so many remarkable truths emerged that are only discovered when the Holy Spirit directs our attention to them. The first focus was placed on the Apostle John, whose life demonstrates the incredible power of repentance and humility. So although John once made a serious mistake that could have cost him his destiny, as it ultimately did for his brother James, he found grace in the sight of Jesus and was completely restored, escaping the judgment that followed his earlier error.

The unfolding revelation begins by recalling the account where James and John had approached Jesus requesting the highest positions in His Kingdom, by asking to sit at His right and left hand in His glory. Their request revealed selfish ambition, pride and a desire for pre-eminence, which is contrary to everything Jesus had taught about greatness in the Lord’s Kingdom. Jesus consistently taught that true greatness only comes through humble service, childlike dependence upon the Father, and serving others rather than pursuing positions of honour.

Jesus responded to their request by explaining that those positions had already been prepared by the Father and were not His to give. Yet the brothers persisted in their pursuit for supremacy. Jesus then lovingly challenged them by asking this pertinent question: “Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?” Blinded by pride they believed this to be an invitation for them to receive greater honour, so they confidently answered that they were able. Jesus then declared that they indeed would drink His cup, yet the positions they desired would still not be theirs.

The Holy Spirit highlighted an important principle of reality that when Jesus speaks a word, it carries authority and certainly comes to pass, just as His prophecy to Peter that he would deny Him three times was fulfilled exactly as spoken. The Holy Spirit then drew my attention to what happened afterward in their individual lives. John we see stood at the foot of the cross during Jesus’ crucifixion (John 19:25–37) where he witnessed the suffering of Christ first hand and heard Jesus pray these words:” Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

Watching Jesus become the Lamb of God who bore the sins of humanity profoundly transformed John’s heart. He came face to face with the price Jesus paid for our sin and understood the reality of forgiveness, repentance, and redemption. From that moment onward, we find out that John never again pursued personal prominence or competed for position in the Kingdom. Instead, he devoted himself to humbly serving Christ, by supporting Peter and the other apostles, and faithfully carrying out the Lord’s purposes.

The contrast between the two brothers lives becomes striking years later when Herod succeeded in executing James, revealing his sudden and tragic death without remedy. The Holy Spirit then connected this event to Jesus’ earlier words about them drinking His cup. James had agreed to drink that cup and, according to this message, never repented of the pride that accompanied his earlier request for greatness.

So although Scripture promises that no weapon formed against God’s servants shall prosper and that every tongue raised against them shall be condemned, James had opened a door through his earlier agreement and failed to return from it through repentance.

Herod based on his success with James then sought to execute Peter as well, yet Peter was miraculously delivered because he had never agreed to drink that cup only Jesus could bear.

Instead of Peter dying, Herod himself in the process perished, demonstrating the Lord’s ability to reverse the enemy’s plans against His servants. John, however, experienced an entirely different outcome because he repented after witnessing Christ’s sacrifice. The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that John understood the cleansing power of repentance, confession and forgiveness, which he later included in his writing in 1 John 1:8–10, which teaches that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John seemed to have understood the fact that repentance restores believers back to righteousness, renewed fellowship, and spiritual authority. So because of this act of humility, John went on to outlive the other apostles, as he continued serving faithfully, to the point of receiving the glorious revelation of the exalted Christ on the Isle of Patmos, and was entrusted to write the closing revelation of Scripture concerning Jesus revealed in glory.

The Holy Spirit uses John’s life to teach a powerful lesson that even followers of Jesus can sometimes make foolish requests, by acting out of pride, or agreeing with thoughts planted by satan without recognising the long-term consequences of such actions. Left unchecked, these attitudes can damage destinies and result in premature death. Yet the Lord’s desire is not our destruction but our total restoration.

Jesus came to rescue us from our own fallen hearts, from deception, pride, and the lies that satan continually presents as bait to entice us to sin. This message therefore encourages every follower of Jesus to remain pliable and teachable before the Holy Spirit. When we fail, and are corrected our response should never be denial or stubbornness, but quick repentance, through humility, and a willingness to receive correction and make the necessary change.

The grace supplied through Christ enables us to return immediately back to the path of life. John’s own writings make this balance perfectly clear. In 1 John, he does not encourage followers of Jesus to continue living in habitual sin, because persistent sinful practice reveals a life contrary to Lord. However, he acknowledges the fact that followers of Jesus will at times stumble.

When we do miss it, we are not without hope and through confession, repentance, and Christ’s forgiveness, we can be cleansed completely from all unrighteousness and restored back to walking in righteousness. The revelation also distinguishes between James from Judas because James remained a faithful follower of Jesus, yet an uncorrected attitude of pride affected his destiny. Judas, on the other hand, never returned to Christ in repentance. So the lesson for us is the fact that even faithful followers of Jesus must continue to remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s correction lest pride rob us of the Lord’s intended purpose for our lives.

The Holy Spirit is therefore calling us the followers of Jesus to cultivate the kind of humility John displayed after the cross by remaining quick to repent, eager to receive correction, and determined never to allow pride or presumption to derail us from the destiny the Lord has prepared for us to experience. Such humility always preserves life, restores authority, and enables us as followers of Jesus to fulfil completely the assignment the Lord has given us to accomplish on earth for His glory.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that every spirit of condemnation, failure, shame, and discouragement is broken from off your life. I declare that the grace of genuine repentance is being released upon you, to enable you to respond quickly to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and never remain bound by your past mistakes.

I declare that, like John, you will behold the greatness of Christ, as you embrace His forgiveness, and walk in increasing humility before the Lord. Pride shall not rob you of your destiny, nor shall presumption divert you from the Lord’s perfect purpose for your life.

May the Holy Spirit make you more sensitive to His correction, by giving you a soft pliable heart that responds immediately to His voice. Every error that could have hindered your future is being redeemed through the mercy and cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. I declare that you will no longer live under the weight of repeated failure, but under the triumph of Christ’s finished work.

As you confess your shortcomings before Him, you shall be cleansed from all unrighteousness, restored to righteousness, renewed in spiritual authority, and established firmly upon the path of life. May you finish your race faithfully as John did, growing continually in revelation, intimacy, and usefulness to the Kingdom. May the Lord entrust you with deeper revelation, greater fruitfulness, and lasting impact as you walk humbly with Him all the days of your life.

I declare that your story will no longer be one of repeated defeats and losses, but one of restoration, wisdom, maturity, victory, and triumph. The mercy of the Lord shall preserve your destiny, and you shall fulfil completely without fail every assignment the Lord has prepared for you, as you bring glory to Jesus Christ all the days of your life in Jesus mighty name, Amen

The Holy Spirit revealed in my communion time with Him that the life of Philip demonstrates a foundational truth for every follower of Jesus to imitate regarding the fact that the moving of the Holy Spirit is something to be caught rather than it to be merely taught. It is not primarily learned through theory but through continual communion, practical obedience, and walking with the Holy Spirit day by day. This lifestyle of being in the Holy Spirit transforms not only our ministry but also the way we as followers of Jesus process information, discern the Lord’s voice, and participate in His Kingdom purposes.

It is a lifelong journey of being taught by the Holy Spirit through experience, resulting in spiritual longevity, accuracy, and fruitfulness. The Holy Spirit first drew my attention to Philip’s introduction in Acts 6:5, where a crisis arose concerning the daily distribution of food to widows. Faced with this practical problem, the apostles refused to abandon their priority of prayer and the ministry of the Word in order to manage administrative matters. Instead, they instructed the church to appoint seven qualified men.

The qualifications given in Acts 6:3-4 are deeply significant. The apostles did not seek individuals with expertise in food management or administration. Instead, they specifically required men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, while they themselves remained devoted continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word. This demonstrates that the Lord’s solutions to issues are never just merely natural, because they require people governed by the Holy Spirit, whose wisdom and peace preserve unity in the body and advances the Kingdom expansion.

Philip becomes a model for ordinary followers of Jesus who want all the Lord has promised. He held no prominent title or position within the church. Yet because of his intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, he became the Lord’s chosen vessel whenever divine solutions were required. His life reveals that promotion in the Kingdom does not come through politics, ambition, or human recognition, but through continual fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the supernatural progression of Philip’s life. From the very beginning, Philip consistently remained full of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), and this continual filling positioned him for increasing responsibility in the Lord’s Kingdom. Wherever Philip served, the peace and order of the Holy Spirit prevailed. So we as followers of Jesus are therefore encouraged always to pursue being chosen as candidates by the Holy Spirit for Divine assignments. By continually remaining full of the Spirit, no person can ultimately prevent the purposes the Lord has ordained for our lives.

After faithfully serving in the food distribution ministry, Philip next appears in Acts 8:4-8 following the persecution that scattered the believers. While many were uncertain of how to respond to the crisis, Philip followed the leading of the Holy Spirit into Samaria. There he preached Christ, and the Holy Spirit confirmed the message with extraordinary miracles. Multitudes received the Gospel, where unclean spirits were cast out, the lame and paralysed were healed, and great joy filled the entire city.

The Holy Spirit revealed that Philip’s success was not accidental and his mission fulfilled words Jesus Himself had spoken years earlier in John 4:34-38 while ministering in Samaria. Jesus had declared that the fields were already white unto harvest and that others would later reap what He had sown. Although Philip had not been physically present when Jesus spoke those words, the same Holy Spirit who inspired Jesus in John.4 later directed Philip into Samaria to complete the word Jesus had prophetically declared.

Interestingly, although the apostles themselves had heard Jesus speak about Samaria, they had made no plans to evangelise that region. Philip, however, proved willing to follow the present leading of the Holy Spirit, which allowed him to become the instrument through whom Jesus received His promised harvest in that region.

The Holy Spirit therefore is calling us the followers of Jesus to examine how often our delayed obedience or hesitation has caused us to miss out on present Kingdom harvests. He urges sincere repentance for every season of slowness or disobedience we succumbed to and calls us to a renewed commitment to follow every instruction promptly so that Jesus receives the harvest of souls that are due to Him. Philip’s greatness through the Holy Spirit, however, did not lie merely in his successful ministry but in his remarkable humility.

Although he experienced extraordinary miracles and widespread public recognition in Samaria, he did not establish his own ministry empire, by seeking personal fame, or building his reputation upon his ability to bring revival. Because he remained emptied of self while ensuring that he was always full of the Holy Spirit, and he willingly handed responsibility for the work of developing spiritual maturity over to the apostles. Immediately after such a campaign, he remained open to the Holy Spirit who directed him toward an unlikely destination, a desert road.

In Acts 8:26-30, an angel instructed Philip to travel south toward Gaza. Although this assignment initially appeared to make little sense, Philip obeyed without hesitation. As he travelled, the Holy Spirit progressively unfolded the purpose of the mission, Philip encountered the Ethiopian eunuch, a high-ranking government official under Queen Candace of Ethiopia, who was returning from a time of worship in Jerusalem as he was reading the prophecy of Isaiah in his chariot.

The Holy Spirit then instructed Philip to approach the chariot which Philip immediately obeyed and he asked the eunuch, “Do you understand what you are reading?” At precisely the moment the eunuch sought understanding, the Lord had already positioned Philip with the answer. This extraordinary spiritual timing demonstrates the importance of our continual sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Philip’s readiness to walk in the Spirit enabled him to become the Lord’s answer to another person’s sincere prayer.

Through explaining Isaiah’s prophecy concerning Christ, Philip led the eunuch to salvation and baptized him. Then the Ethiopian returned home rejoicing in the Holy Spirit, carrying the Gospel back to Africa. So through Philip’s simple obedience, revival was introduced into an entire continent, fulfilling Christ’s Kingdom purposes in remarkable fashion (Acts 8:31-39). The Holy Spirit is encouraging us as followers of Jesus to meditate deeply upon this account and ask Him to develop in us such similar spiritual accuracy, thus making us instruments through whom His miraculous purposes are fulfilled.

This realm of spiritual precision flows only from our continual communion and conversation with the Holy Spirit regarding Jesus’ daily Kingdom agenda for our lives. As followers of Jesus we must remain continually in step with Him rather than allowing our hesitation, fear, or self-will to delay our speedy obedience. Philip’s journey on that occasion did not end there because immediately after baptizing the Ethiopian, Acts 8:39-40 records that the Holy Spirit supernaturally transported Philip to Azotus, where he immediately continued preaching Christ.

Philip’s entire ministry became characterized by instant obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit, supernatural guidance, and uninterrupted Kingdom advancement. I was reminded by the Holy Spirit of the season many years ago where I had asked Him for the grace to experience this same level of continual union with Him and to remain consistently on the cutting edge of what the Lord is doing.

While I remain grateful for what the Lord has revealed, there still remains in me an ongoing pursuit for deeper revelation, greater manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and more opportunities for Jesus alone to receive glory as men marvel at His power and supremacy as I preach His gospel of the Kingdom. The final picture of Philip amazing journey of faith appears many years later in Acts 21:8-11, which reveals clearly the long-term fruit of a life lived in continual communion with the Holy Spirit.

Philip remained faithful over the years, and now his household reflected the same spiritual atmosphere he imbibed as his four virgin daughters continually prophesied, demonstrating that communion with the Holy Spirit had become the culture of the entire family. Prophets such as Agabus gladly visited Philip’s home because the tangible Presence of the Lord so powerfully rested there. Wherever the Holy Spirit is deeply honoured, greater measures of His power are released.

Philip intentionally trained his daughters to love fellowship with the Holy Spirit, resulting in a household saturated with prophetic ministry and the Lord’s presence. Remarkably, his home had become a greater centre of Holy Spirit activity than the church in Jerusalem, which had gradually become more of a monument than a movement in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit revealed that Philip’s continual spiritual accuracy resulted from years of daily seeking the Lord’s will.

Because both he and his family devoted themselves to continual communion with the Holy Spirit, prompt obedience became their lifestyle, leaving little room for their human failure to hinder the Lord’s purposes for their lives. This is the pattern the Holy Spirit desires for every follower of Jesus to walk in a sustained spiritual intensity over many years, without decline, so that the Kingdom of Jesus continues advancing unhindered on the earth.

This message concludes with an earnest call for followers of Jesus to embrace this revelation by making whatever spiritual adjustments are necessary to deepen your daily communion with the Holy Spirit. As more time is devoted to listening, praying, and fellowshipping with Him, we will be promoted in the Spirit and begin experiencing increasing signs, wonders, miracles, divine direction, supernatural wisdom, and Kingdom harvests.

The Holy Spirit promises to reveal future events, provide strategies for navigating difficulties, and expose every scheme of the enemy before it succeeds. As we the followers of Jesus remain in close union with Him, satan’s attacks will melt away like wax before the manifest presence of the Lord.

Through the grace flowing from this word may the Holy Spirit establish an entirely new walk in the heart of every follower of Jesus who embraces this path of continual communion. May the grace through this word cause you to accomplish in weeks what might naturally require decades, thus revealing the greatness of the resurrected Jesus and the reality that you are His co-heirs.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that the grace to walk in continual communion with the Holy Spirit shall rest upon your life. May you become a vessel continually full of the Holy Spirit and divine wisdom, just as Philip was, and may every assignment the Lord has prepared for you find you ready, willing, and obedient to walk in its manifestation.

I declare that you shall become increasingly sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. You shall hear His instructions clearly, respond to them promptly, and never miss the harvests He has prepared for you. Every hesitation, delay, fear, and resistance to His leading is broken off you in Jesus’ name.

May the Holy Spirit develop within you spiritual accuracy, supernatural discernment, and unwavering obedience. So just as He guided Philip from one divine assignment to another, so shall He order your steps into His prepared works for you that glorify Jesus and establish His Kingdom.

I declare that your life, and that of your family, and your home shall become places where the Presence of the Lord dwells richly. Like Philip’s household, may your home become saturated with the Holy Spirit, filled with His wisdom, His prophetic voice, and His miraculous power.

May signs, wonders, miracles, divine appointments, and Kingdom harvests follow your obedience. The Holy Spirit shall reveal to you future events, by exposing to you every scheme of the enemy, and giving you the necessary wisdom to navigate every circumstance with victory.

I declare that the Holy Spirit shall accomplish through your surrendered life what would naturally require many years, by accelerating His purposes so that nations will witness the greatness, authority, and supremacy of the resurrected Jesus. May your life continually bring glory to His name as you walk faithfully in step with the Holy Spirit all the days of your life in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

The Holy Spirit reveals in this message why we the followers of Jesus so often instinctively turn to human beings as our first source of help instead of looking to the Lord first, who is our ever-present Helper. The Father desires His children to make the Holy Spirit our primary source of refuge, wisdom, strength, and deliverance in every circumstance. As we the followers of Jesus embrace this truth and receive the grace to yield in dependence upon the Holy Spirit first, we will begin to experience consistent triumph through His miraculous interventions rather than living dependent upon our human ability.

The foundation scripture of this revelation is Psalm 46:1, which declares that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that His help is not reserved only for moments of crisis but is equally available during our seasons of success. He desires to be involved in every aspect of the follower of Jesus’s life and to remain our first point of dependence regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in. The Holy Spirit then asked a searching question as to Why do we continue looking to people for our support when we have Him as our more-than-enough Helper in every situation?

He reminds us as Jesus’s followers of Jeremiah 17:5–8 which clearly warns against trusting in man or relying upon the arm of flesh. Scripture describes such dependence as bringing a curse upon our lives, because human strength is unstable and unreliable which is like trusting in the wind, which cannot provide lasting security. In contrast, those who trust in the Lord are like trees planted by waters whose roots continually draw life from Him and go on to flourish in life.

The Lord certainly places faithful people around His children to encourage, strengthen, and assist us in fulfilling our calling. He provides relationships, partnerships, mentors, and companions as gifts of His grace to assist us in our callings. However, these individuals are never intended to become the our refuge, foundation, or ultimate source of help. They are instruments in the Lord’s hand, to handle and work out aspects of our calling which we cannot do, but they are not replacements for Him being our leader and guide in fulfilling destiny.

The Holy Spirit is always desiring to become our closest Friend, most trusted Companion, and our first place of refuge. He wants us His followers to instinctively turn to Him before anyone else whenever challenges arise. This dependence upon Him will inevitably be tested throughout our lives, because the Lord desires us to establish our complete trust in Himself rather than in human resources.

The Holy Spirit then illustrated the importance of this principle through the life of David in 1 Samuel 30:6. when David returned to Ziklag to discover that the city had been destroyed, his family and possessions taken captive, and all the people with him were devastated by the grief of the losses of all things. In that moment, the very men who had previously supported and stood beside David became so overwhelmed by the disaster that they considered stoning him as they grieved the loss.

David suddenly found himself completely abandoned by the human support upon which he might naturally have relied. Yet instead of collapsing in despair, he strengthened himself in the Lord his God. As he took cognisance of the fact that his confidence had never truly rested in his men’s ability but in the Lord who had called him to be king, so David sought the Lord rather than the human counsel in his men who were distraught.

After encouraging himself in the Lord’s presence, David inquired of the Lord and received divine direction. The Lord revealed the strategy necessary to recover everything that had been stolen resulting in David not only recovering all that had been lost but they also received abundant spoil beyond what had originally been taken. His victory came because he relied upon the Lord’s wisdom he sought rather than the opinions or strength of those who were around him.

The Holy Spirit then highlighted an important distinction by pointing out that the Lord never intended David to reject the help of the men He had placed around him. Rather, the Lord wanted David to understand that while people may support the Lord’s purposes for his life, they must never become the foundation of his confidence. There is a very fine line between appreciating the help the Lord provides us through people and transferring our trust in the Lord to those people.

The Lord alone must remain the our source of help, refuge, and security. The Holy Spirit explained how we Jesus’s followers often find this difficult because human help is visible and tangible. Seeing capable people around us creates a sense of security whereas, seeking the Lord requires faith because we have to look to what is not physically visible in the natural realm.

His presence is not physically seen, and His answers must often be received through prayer, waiting, and spiritual sensitivity. From a natural perspective, just turning to people near us appears easier. Yet this pathway of seeking the Lord first is precisely what preserves us in the place of continual triumph. This truth is reinforced by Psalm 20:7, which reminds us that while some trust in chariots and some in horses, the Lord’s people place their confidence in the name of the Lord their God.

To further illustrate this principle personally, the Holy Spirit reminded me of how, during a season of severe physical attack, he used me to encourage a close friend to seek the Lord for understanding concerning her condition before seeking a medical diagnosis. The point was not for her to reject human knowledge altogether, but to emphasise the reality that even the most skilled physician on his best day remains limited and subject to error or spiritual influence. The Lord alone possesses perfect knowledge and gives answers that produce peace.

The friend chose to follow this wisdom to seek the Lord first, and then trusted His direction, and received divine wisdom that ultimately brought healing and deliverance without her ever needing a physical diagnosis. She remains alive and well today, carrying a personal testimony of the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit, who alone possesses the complete knowledge and the ability to deliver from every form of death.

Her experience became physical evidence of the great advantage we as followers of Jesus possess when we make the Holy Spirit our first source of help. The Holy Spirit therefore wants us the followers of Jesus to recognise the tremendous privilege we have in possessing Him as our continual Helper. His desire is that every need, every battle, every decision, and every crisis first be brought before Him rather than immediately before people.

This message concludes by pointing to the example of Jesus Himself. Even though Jesus had chosen faithful disciples under the direction of the Holy Spirit, every one of them abandoned Him during His greatest hour of suffering. Even those closest to Him could not remain awake and alert when He faced the cross.

Yet Jesus had already declared that His confidence rested not in men but in His Father, who would never leave Him. Referring to Matthew 26:31, the Holy Spirit reminds us as Jesus’s followers that while human relationships may fail under pressure, the Father’s presence and counsel always remains constant. The Father was always with Jesus and faithfully brought Him through His suffering into victory over death and the grave.

As followers of Jesus we are therefore encouraged to establish this same pattern of dependence on the Lord. Human support is valuable and should be appreciated, but it must never replace our wholehearted trust in the Holy Spirit. As we continually make Him their first line of our defence, the first source of wisdom, and the first refuge and strength, we will discover the supernatural advantage of living under His guidance and miraculous power which always brings triumph.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that the Holy Spirit shall become your first source of help, wisdom, refuge, and strength. According to Psalm 46:1, you shall know the Lord as your very present Help in every season of life. Every misplaced dependence upon human strength shall be broken off you, and your confidence shall be firmly established in the Lord alone.

I declare that the grace to trust the Lord above every human resource shall rest upon you and according to Jeremiah 17:5–8, you shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water whose roots continually draw life from the Lord. You shall not fear when difficult seasons come, nor shall you cease from bearing fruit.

I declare that just as David strengthened himself in the Lord and recovered all at Ziklag, that every area where you have suffered loss shall become a testimony of restoration. The Holy Spirit shall reveal the divine strategies, supernatural solutions, and miraculous breakthroughs that enable you recover all the enemy has attempted to steal from you.

May the Holy Spirit become your closest Friend, your greatest Counsellor, and your constant Refuge. May He teach you to seek Him before every decision, every challenge, and every opportunity, so that your life continually reflects His wisdom and victory.

I declare that, like Jesus, your confidence shall never rest in the arm of flesh but in the unfailing presence of the Father. Though people may disappoint or fail you, the Lord shall never leave nor forsake you and you shall walk in continual triumph through the miraculous hand of the Holy Spirit, and your life shall become a testimony that the Lord alone is your Refuge, your Strength, and your Deliverer and very present help in trouble in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
