Precious Holy Spirit I receive the grace to recognize the appointed moments of the fulfilment of your promise in my life and I receive the grace necessary to lay hold of every other promise the Lord has spoken concerning my life.

Let this be the time where every promise that is due for manifestation comes into its appointed fulfilment in my life. Please lead me into places of my rich fulfilment and let my life become a testimony of the faithfulness of the Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I declare that the Lord is faithful to His promises concerning my life and I know that He has not forgotten one word He has spoken to me. So what the Lord has promised, He remembers to accomplish at the appointed time.

I decree that what the Lord has spoken, He will surely fulfil. I declare that I will never again interpret delays as abandonment of the promise of the Lord towards me. I will never allow the slow passage of time to weaken my confidence in the Lord’s faithfulness, because I know that the Lord remembers me and the Lord remembers His Word and His promises towards me.

Precious Holy Spirit I thank you that You are leading me into their fulfilment, just as You led Simeon into the precise place where he would see the Lord’s salvation, so I am being divinely led into the places of fulfilment appointed for my life.

I receive abundant grace to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit which means that I will hear His leading and I will recognize His promptings, and follow His instructions, so I will not miss the designated moments He has prepared for me.

Holy Spirit please help me not to run ahead of You presumptuously, so I will not resist Your direction. Let me never allow distraction, impatience or unbelief to take me away from the path of Your fulfilment for my life. Holy Spirit I know that You alone are the way into every promise the Lord has made concerning me. You alone know the timing, the pathway, the circumstances, the people and places connected to my fulfilment and You are leading me there.

I declare that I am entering a season of greater promise fulfilment and I will begin to see more of the Lord’s promises becoming reality in my life. I am being moved on by the Holy Spirit into places of rich fulfilment, so that the promises that have been carried in my heart are coming into manifestation. I declare that Words spoken over me that appeared distant are coming into view, and things I have waited for are being brought into their appointed season of manifestation.

I declare that the same Lord who remembered Simeon has not forgotten me and the Lord who led Simeon to the fulfilment of his promise is now leading me into the fulfilment of mine as I lay hold of it by faith by preparing my heart to follow the Holy Spirit so I am ready to move when He says move, ready to wait when He says wait and ready to obey Him promptly when He gives the instruction to enter the places He directs me toward.

I declare that the Lord’s promises over my life will not fail because the Lord Himself will lead me to them, so that I will see the faithfulness of the Lord to experience His goodness towards me, as I will walk in the reality of what He has spoken as I arrive at the places of fulfilment He has prepared for me which is to see the Lord’s salvation in my life.

I declare that I will see promises of the Lord fulfilled, and I will see the hand of the Lord at work to perform them because this is a season of promise fulfilment. The Holy Spirit is leading me into it because the Lord has remembered His Word concerning me, and I am being led into the grand finale of every promise He has ordained for my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

There are little phrases spoken in the Bible that carry enormous significance because they reveal the heart of the Lord in the events of life.

This morning, during my communion time with the Holy Spirit, as I looked at Luke:2.27, the Lord reminded me again of His faithfulness. He reminded me that He the Father never forgets His promises and that He is always faithful to fulfil what He has spoken. The passage reads these words: “Keeping His promise, the Holy Spirit led Simeon to be in the temple court at the very moment Jesus’ parents entered to fulfil the requirement of the sacrifice.”

That little expression concerning the fact of: “Keeping His promise” contains a profound revelation about the heart of the Lord which we should take note off because the Lord never forgets what He has promised. My spirit was lifted as I considered Simeon’s experience. Simeon was about to see the promise of the Lord to him fulfilled in his lifetime, and this fulfilment was not dependent upon Simeon’s ability to remember the promise or somehow by his strength bring it to pass himself.

It is clearly stated that the Lord remembered what He had spoken to Simeon years ago and now at the appointed time, the Lord Himself was going to lead Simeon into the grand finale of his life which was for him to see the Lord’s salvation on earth before his departure. So the Holy Spirit led Simeon to be in the temple court at precisely the right moment. This fact is what makes the account so powerful because Simeon did not have to manipulate circumstances to make the promise happen.

He did not have to figure out how to arrange the events to bring about the fulfilment. He simply needed to be responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit who he had relationship with. The Lord who made the promise remembered the promise, and the Holy Spirit then led Simeon into the place where he would encounter its fulfilment. As I reflected upon this, I rejoiced because I understood that the Lord was pointing out something very important to me which is that every promise He has made to me, He will fulfil.

This means that the Lord will not merely leave me to discover the fulfilment of His promise by myself, but that He would lead me to it by the Holy Spirit. This confirmation of the Lord’s ability gives me tremendous confidence concerning the promises of the Lord towards me. So even though there may be promises that have taken time, and although there may be things the Lord has spoken that have not yet become visible.

Thou there may be situations where we have wondered when or how the word of the Lord will come to pass because of the Lord’s apparent silence on the matter it is not because of the Lord’s seeming forgetfulness. The Lord’s delay from our perspective is never abandonment because His promise remains secure as the Lord always remembers what He has spoken.

So the same Holy Spirit who led Simeon into the precise moment of fulfilment is able to lead us into the places, circumstances and encounters where the promises of the Lord concerning our lives will become a reality. As the Holy Spirit ministered these words to me I sensed strongly that the Lord was pointing to a season in which we will begin to see more fulfilment of His promises in our lives.

The Holy Spirit is moving us into places of rich fulfilment where, promises that have been carried in the heart for years are coming into manifestation. Words that have seemed distant are being brought closer into realization, where the things that the Lord has spoken but which have not yet been seen are being approached by the divine leading of the Holy Spirit.

This fact that we must be guided by the Holy Spirit points out that our response in obedience in this season is extremely important. We must on purpose become increasingly sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit because only the Holy Spirit knows exactly where the promise is and knows the appointed moment including the circumstances surrounding its fulfilment. He knows what we must do, where we must go and how we must respond with open hearts to walk in the fulfilment of the promise.

Therefore, we must not become so occupied with the task of trying to figure everything out ourselves that we fail to recognize the Holy Spirit’s leading. The fulfilment of the Lord’s plans and promises requires us to remain responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. So just as the Holy Spirit led Simeon to the temple at exactly the right moment, He can lead us into the circumstances where the Lord’s promises concerning our lives will be fulfilled.

Therefore we must discern that this is the time for us to become more sensitive by listening more carefully and paying close attention to His promptings, in order to follow His direction. We cannot afford to dismiss the seemingly small instructions, so do not allow impatience to cause you to move ahead of His leading.

Remember that the Holy Spirit knows the direct route into your promise, He knows the timing of the fulfilment. He knows the people, places and circumstances connected to what the Lord has spoken, and as we yield to Him, He will faithfully lead us. Simeon’s story reminds us that the Lord’s faithfulness does not end with Him making a promise because the Lord is faithful to bring His people into the experience of what He has promised.

Simeon was brought to the very place where he would see the tangible salvation of the Lord and it was the Holy Spirit who orchestrated his positioning. Likewise, know today that the Lord is able to orchestrate your positioning so that you will arrive at the places of fulfilment He has prepared for you.

The promise may have seemed delayed, but be certain that the promise is not forgotten, and even though the fulfilment may have seemed impossible, the Lord was still working, and though the waiting may have been long, be assured that the Lord has remained faithful. And now the Holy Spirit is reminding you that you must be ready to follow Him into the fulfilment. Therefore, lay hold of this word today by being encouraged by the faithfulness of the Lord.

Do not assume that because you have waited a long time that the Lord has forgotten what He said. Never interpret delay as divine abandonment, and do not allow the passage of time to weaken your confidence in the Lord’s Word. The Lord remembers because He is faithful and the Lord always keeps His promises. Know for certain that the Holy Spirit is able to lead you into the very place where you will experience their fulfilment.

So get busy in preparing yourself to walk in promises being fulfilled in the now season of life as you become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Then be ready to move when He leads. Be ready to respond promptly when He speaks by being ready to enter the places He directs you toward because this season is not merely about hearing the promises, but it is about walking into their fulfilment.

Father, thank You for reminding me that You are faithful and that You never forget Your promises to me. Thank You that what You have spoken concerning my life remains secure in Your hands until you make it happen. Thank You for the example of Simeon’s life and for the revelation that You remembered Your promise and led him by the Holy Spirit into the very place where he would see its fulfilment.

Holy Spirit, please make me increasingly more sensitive to Your leading, by helping me to recognize Your voice and respond promptly when You direct me. Please lead me into every place, circumstance and opportunity connected to the fulfilment of the Lord’s promises concerning my life.

Please keep me from impatience, presumption and distraction and help me never to move ahead of You or to miss the moments You have prepared for me. I receive the grace to follow You faithfully in Jesus name. Amen.

As I woke up and was inviting the Holy Spirit to have dominion and control over my day so I could walk in the plans of good works which Jesus had already determined for me. Ephesians.2:10. The Holy Spirit spoke one word to me about needing to have resilience if we are going to inherit everything the Father has left for us. I then got busy studying the word resilience because I knew that if the Holy Spirit was emphasizing a word it meant that I did not fully grasp what the word means.

I have found out that even though we may know and use words once the Holy Spirit breathes the word to us there is an explosion of meaning that emerges which helps change the course we are on to bring us into triumph no matter the challenge we were facing. I proceeded to look up the word in the dictionary. It was very revealing: First meaning was the capability of a body to recover its size and shape after deformation caused especially by compressive stress.

Immediately I recognised why the Holy Spirit of developing resilience to lay hold of the promises of God. If you are needing to have the capability to recover then resilience is built after the loss of something vital to ones life which the enemy is an expert at doing.

Whether it is sickness or disease or financial losses, or debt or any life threatening situation we as followers of Jesus must have the capacity to recover from them and get back on our feet. You will notice that this is after deformation has happened which has changed the look of the thing in question making it look totally out of sync.

Resilience is the ingredient necessary to recover back the right form of the situation/body that had been deformed no matter the level of compressed stress that was used to change its form. So I asked the Holy Spirit instantly to help me develop greater resilience in storm situations and every area where I was falling short on my resilience capabilities because wherever the ability to recover losses is not present we will never see the situation recovered.

I immediately started asking the Holy Spirit to help me recover every situation in my past where there has not been full recompense of everything I lost in those seasons which I have been standing on and have not yet happened which breeds lack of focus to recover them.

Amazingly enough the Holy Spirit brought back to my remembrance situations I had literally forgotten and He encouraged me to get them back by becoming more resilient till the recovery is complete.

This reality of the word resilience is in line with Jesus who is the Resurrection and the Life. John.11:25 & 26. Jesus has the ability to recover anything dead and bring it back to life no matter what caused the death as He proved with Lazarus in John.11. You can imagine how excited I became as I understood the relationship between having resilience and the power to raise the dead things in life back to their original whole state free from the deformation that had occurred.

I wanted to know more because I had never seen how important resilience was to see my faith produce creative results in the midst of the greatest challenges without flinching. Secondly resilience is the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. This was even stronger because it reminded me of the Apostle Paul who said that non of these trials and tests the enemy sent move him from what the word says.

This is an area where we all need to grow up to the point where we allow no misfortune or negative turn of events to make us change our stance or position of faith. This is because we know that our faith is our title deed secured that we will have and recover everything that has been lost. No negative occurrence can change our disposition so we are easily able to recover everything lost no matter the way it happened without losing our joy, because it hurt us and caused unnecessary pain or losses.

The conversation got more intensive because as I realised what greater resilience can do for me I was angry at how on some occasions I allowed myself to be moved by the outside noise of negative outcomes that challenge the word of the Lord. It reminded me of the Psalm where we are told that the word tested Joseph till its fulfilment which points to the fact that Joseph’s continued resilience finally brought him to the place where he ruled over Egypt as the word of the Lord came to pass.

The Holy Spirit caused me to see that Jesus was always resilient in all He did and that meant that no situation in life fazed Him including even raising Lazarus from the grave. In John.5:28 & 29 Jesus tells the people not to marvel at the fact that all those in the grave will hear His voice and come back to life. So I asked the Holy Spirit for a greater measure of resilience to operate in my life so that no life situation should ever faze me just as was the case with Jesus.

Today Precious Holy Spirit as I have come to understand the importance of having resilience and walking in it daily I ask you to help me connect with the grace that produces greater resilience within me to the point where I walk unfazed by any situation that rises up to challenge my faith. Please teach me how to use resilience in my daily walk so I am able to recover and restore all the things the enemy has robbed from me.

I declare that I will walk in the fullness of the grace of understanding how to operate in resilience to the point where I recover the lost years of good from my life. I ask You to open the eyes of my understanding so I will no longer come short of the good fruits resilience brings into my life in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that Your grace through these words will stir every heart to give the earnest heed to everything You have spoken. Holy Spirit, please awaken us whenever we begin to drift by reminding us of the words we have heard and give us grace to rehearse them faithfully. Please help us to keep Your Word continually in our mouths and to meditate upon them day and night.

Please deliver us from deception, presumption, neglect, and every futile thought or opinion that has hindered our progress. Then please teach us to value even the smallest details of what You speak, by giving us grace to obey promptly and completely. Please let Your Word remain alive and active within us until it produces the corresponding manifestation in our lives.

May You Precious Holy Spirit have Your say, have Your way, and have Your day in us in this auspicious season, so that Your will is accomplished through Your servants, so Your name is glorified on the earth, and Your Kingdom is expanded in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I declare that I will give the more earnest heed to everything the Lord has spoken to me, and I will not neglect His Word, minimize His instructions, or allow the enemy to alter what I have heard. I will not drift from the purpose of the Lord through small compromises or careless neglect, as my heart will remain centred on the truth, because I will keep the Word in my mouth and meditate upon it day and night.

I receive the grace to rehearse the truths the Holy Spirit has given me continually until they become firmly established in my heart and produce the corresponding action in my life. I will not be deceived by the lie that I have already learned enough or that my continual confession is unnecessary.

I on purpose choose truth over deception, obedience over presumption, and the voice of the Holy Spirit over my futile thoughts and opinions. I will treat every instruction the Lord has given me as very precious and utmost importance.

I declare that my way is being kept on course, so that every place where I have drifted is being corrected, and every necessary adjustment is being made, because I am returning quickly to the path the Lord has prepared for me.

I declare that the Word of the Lord will not return empty in my life, because what He has spoken will produce its intended fruit in my life. I declare that I will see His will accomplished, His glory revealed, and His Kingdom advanced through my obedience in Jesus name.

I declare that the Lord will have His say, His way, and His day in my life in this auspicious season, as I will walk in triumph, to the point where even those who oppose me will see the greatness of my God and marvel at what He has done.

I am staying the course, so I will not drift. I will not neglect Your word, nor will I be deceived because I will hold fast to what I have heard, by obeying what the Holy Spirit says, and walk forward into the fullness of what the Lord has prepared for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today I am sharing the conclusion of my communion time paying the more earnest heed to things we have heard from the Lord in order for us to minimise our drifting from the truth.

The same principle of just obeying the commands of the Lord for our benefit applies to fasting because as we fast it opens up greater avenues of blessing in our lives and the life of others. Jesus speaks about fasting in Matthew.6:16, by saying “when you fast,” indicating that fasting is something His followers should practice. But who ultimately benefits from fasting?

Isaiah.58:6,8 & 9 makes the answer clear: “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?” And: “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’”

Just look at the benefits we receive for obeying this command: freedom, broken burdens, deliverance from oppression, broken yokes, light, healing, righteousness, the glory of the Lord surrounding us, and answered prayer. Who receives these benefits? The person who fasts in obedience to the Lord. This is why I encourage you to meditate deeply on Isaiah.58 because it reveals how obedience to the Lord benefits our lives and makes our way better.

Returning to Hebrews.2, we can now understand more clearly why we must give the more earnest heed to what we have heard. We understand that giving earnest heed means that we must meditate continually on what the Holy Spirit has spoken and faithfully confess those words, because this is how we keep them established within our hearts.

The Lord gave Joshua this principle in Joshua.1:8 & 9: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

Notice that the Lord specifically said the Word should not depart from your mouth. This truth reveals the importance of our confession. We keep the Word in our hearts by continually putting it into our mouths, by meditating upon it day and night, which is by rehearsing it repeatedly, and then taking the corresponding action according to what we have observed through our meditation.

The result is that we make our way prosperous and experience good success. This principle of repetition is designed to keep our hearts from drifting. It is amazing how far we can move from the right destination through very small movements in the wrong direction. A vessel can drift only a small amount at a time, yet eventually find itself many miles away from its intended course.

I have personally experienced something similar while driving on the interstate in Fort Worth, Texas. I drifted off course at an intersection and suddenly discovered that I was now on the highway heading toward Oklahoma instead of remaining on the route I intended to take.

It was a startling experience to realize how far I had to travel before I could find a service station, to retrace my steps, and work out how to get back to Fort Worth. That experience painful as it was illustrates clearly the spiritual danger of drifting away from instructions. Small deviations, if left uncorrected, can eventually produce a major departure from the intended destination.

This is precisely why we must keep the Word of the Lord continually in our mouths. Daily confession keeps our hearts focused and centred upon truth. Please Do not believe the lie that you no longer need to confess the word because you are saved. Psalm.107:2 says let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom te Lord has redeemed from the enemy.

Hebrews.3:1 speaks of Jesus as the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. So think if Jesus will accept words that contradict His covenant with you. The enemy will attempt to make your continual confession seem unnecessary. He may suggest : “You already know the Word, so You don’t need to confess it all the time. Anyway that is just being religious.”

Do not believe that lie because neglecting the Word can cost us dearly because our repetition of it is not an empty religious activity when it is being used to establish truth in our hearts. It is the means through which we keep ourselves aligned with what the Lord has spoken.

The Holy Spirit continually reminds me to rehearse the truths I already know. He encourages me to return to refresher studies of the truths I have previously learned so that I remain current, established, and continually growing in what He has revealed. He also reminds me when my confessions have become less regular than they should be, by awakening me again to the importance of keeping the Word before my eyes through my confessions.

What the Lord says possesses such dynamic power and effect that neglecting to say and rehearse it can create unnecessary trouble and hardship in our lives we must refrain from doing. This is exactly why the writer of Hebrews warns us against neglecting the word we have heard. The warning is not intended to condemn us but to protect us because neglect hurts us, whereas staying on course confessing the word protects us.

The answer is therefore very clear which is for us to stay on course by continually confessing and meditating on the Word of the Lord. Do not allow attractive alternatives, easier options, comfortable choices, or desires that appeal to the flesh to move you away from what the Lord has spoken. The enemy will always attempt to offer you something that seems easier or more convenient, but our responsibility is to remain anchored in the truth.

The Holy Spirit is calling us back to the practice of daily confession of “thus saith the Holy Spirit.” So we must deliberately reject futile thoughts and personal opinions that have always ended up hindering our forward movement.

The goal for us is not merely to know the Word intellectually but we must keep it continually before our eyes and in our mouths until it shapes our hearts, directs our decisions, and produces the corresponding action which results in possession of the promises of God.

My prayer this morning is that these words will stir your heart to return to the daily practice of confessing what the Holy Spirit has spoken to you. May you refuse to minimize any instruction the Lord has given you, even if it appears to be a small thing.

May you give utmost attention to every word the Holy Spirit has entrusted to you so that the grace released through these truths will propel you to take the necessary action because you value what the Holy Spirit is saying.

This is an auspicious season in which the Lord desires to have His say, His way, and His day in your life. The Holy Spirit desires to be seen doing His will through His servants so that His name will be glorified on the earth and His Kingdom expanded. Therefore, do not drift or neglect the word by allowing the enemy to alter the Word because you exchange the truth for a deception.

Keep confessing the Word in your mouth as you meditate upon it day and night. Rehearse the word continually till it instructs you take the corresponding action necessary to inherit the promise.

Then remain centred on the truth because as you do this, the Lord will bring you out in triumph, to the point where even your enemies will look on in amazement and recognize the greatness of your God in Jesus name. Amen.

Today I am sharing part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on paying earnest heed to things we have heard from the Lord to minimise our drifting from the truth.

This morning, during my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He reminded me of the importance of us paying the more careful attention to the things we have heard from the Lord. We must never minimize or neglect the small details of what He has spoken to us, because those seemingly small details carry great significance for the overall fulfilment of the Lord’s purposes in our lives.

When we read through the Gospels with the intention of receiving the Spirit and life contained in them, we repeatedly see Jesus saying to His disciples this statement, “and again I say to you.” So I asked the Holy Spirit why Jesus continually repeated things He had already told His followers? I asked Him why did Jesus keep going over important truths He taught them?

The Holy Spirit showed me that because we human beings are prone to forget the importance of things very quickly. A, continuous repetition is one of the most important ways truths remain as a priority in our lives. When something is repeatedly placed before our eyes and rehearsed in our hearts, we are less likely to lose sight of its vital importance.

We must remember that Jesus wants us to continually dwell upon the important things He speaks to us because His words are Spirit and life, John.6:63 and we receive the life contained in those words as we continue to dwell upon them in our hearts through continuous confession with our mouths. John.8:31 & 32.

The issue of us continuing in the word, is not merely to just hear a word once which we are likely to forget anyway, plus the enemies tactics to keep us from keeping hold of the word which keeps us weak. This is a real fact because only by allowing that word to remain before us until it becomes established within our hearts is what will cause it to produce the corresponding life and freedom which it is intended to bring us.

The Holy Spirit also reminded me that the enemy is always seeking to vary the instructions we have received from the Lord in order to keep us continually deceived so he can rob us of our authority over him. This is very serious and worth addressing because deception can rob us of our inheritance, because when we move away from the truth and embrace a lie, we create an opening through which the enemy can operate.

satan knows that no lie can withstand the truth so he endeavours to keep us deceived concerning truth because it represents his defeat, so anytime we make the mistake of believing a lie it gives him an entrance into our lives. This is why Jesus warned us about deception in Luke.21:8. For this reason, we must guard carefully what we have heard from the Lord because we cannot afford to allow the enemy in to alter, dilute, reinterpret, or replace the instructions the Lord has given us.

The Holy Spirit then directed me to Hebrews.2:1-4, which reads these words: “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”

The phrase “give the more earnest heed” speaks directly to the need for us to pay deliberate attention to the details given. We must not casually treat what the Lord has said casually but we must give His words priority, by meditating upon them, confessing them faithfully, and acting promptly upon what He has revealed which will help us adhering to the warning is against drifting away. We do not necessarily drift away through one enormous decision. Often, drifting begins through small neglects we make that gradually move us away from the place the Lord intended us to occupy.

The Holy Spirit taught me another important principle that nothing the Lord asks us to do is for the Lord’s benefit; it is ultimately always for our benefit. He then brought several Scriptures to mind to establish this truth. The first was on giving, so when Jesus instructed us to give it was not merely so that the Lord could receive something from us. He instructed us to give because giving creates an avenue through which we can receive more.

Luke.6:38 says clearly that when we give, it will be given back to us in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men bring into our bosom , and with the measure we use being the measure we receive back. The purpose is not simply that we might accumulate more resources for ourselves. The reality is that the more we receive, the more we have available to give again which keeps resources flowing.

The Lord’s instruction to give therefore becomes a pathway to greater capacity. I have personally learned this principle of giving and have seen that it works every time I give because I receive much more so I am able to give more. What a wonderful Lord we serve who causes our giving to increase us as opposed to our hoarding of what we have which is the worlds way of keeping what they have.

My prayer this morning is that these words will stir your heart to return to the daily practice of confessing what the Holy Spirit has spoken to you. May you refuse to minimize any instruction the Lord has given you, even if it appears to be a small thing. May you give utmost attention to every word the Holy Spirit has entrusted to you so that the grace released through these truths will propel you to take the necessary action because you value what the Holy Spirit is saying.

This is an auspicious season in which the Lord desires to have His say, His way, and His day in your life. The Holy Spirit desires to be seen doing His will through His servants so that His name will be glorified on the earth and His Kingdom expanded. Therefore, do not drift or neglect the word by allowing the enemy to alter the Word because you exchange the truth for a deception.

Keep confessing the Word in your mouth as you meditate upon it day and night. Rehearse the word continually till it instructs you take the corresponding action necessary to inherit the promise. Then remain centred on the truth because as you do this, the Lord will bring you out in triumph, to the point where even your enemies will look on in amazement and recognize the greatness of your God.

I declare that I will give the more earnest heed to everything the Lord has spoken to me, and I will not neglect His Word, minimize His instructions, or allow the enemy to alter what I have heard. I will not drift from the purpose of the Lord through small compromises or careless neglect, as my heart will remain centred on the truth, because I will keep the Word in my mouth and meditate upon it day and night.

I receive the grace to rehearse the truths the Holy Spirit has given me continually until they become firmly established in my heart and produce the corresponding action in my life. I will not be deceived by the lie that I have already learned enough or that my continual confession is unnecessary. I on purpose choose truth over deception, obedience over presumption, and the voice of the Holy Spirit over my futile thoughts and opinions. I will treat every instruction the Lord has given me as very precious and utmost importance.

I declare that my way is being kept on course, so that every place where I have drifted is being corrected, and every necessary adjustment is being made, because I am returning quickly to the path the Lord has prepared for me. I declare that the Word of the Lord will not return empty in my life, because what He has spoken will produce its intended fruit in my life. I declare that I will see His will accomplished, His glory revealed, and His Kingdom advanced through my obedience in Jesus name. Amen.

In my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He drew my attention to a phrase repeatedly used in the Book of Acts that is vital for us today, yet it often receives very little attention which are these words: “Being full of the Holy Spirit.”

We repeatedly read the story of how individuals such as Peter, Stephen, Paul, and Philip each being full of the Holy Spirit, and whenever this description accompanies their name and ministry, we see remarkable miracles, signs, and wonders taking place through them.

This reveals something very important that the message being spoken by them was not merely the product of the individual’s own thoughts, opinions, personality, or ministerial title. It was the Holy Spirit speaking through a vessel who had yielded himself to the Lord.

This fact makes an important distinction between the individual vessel and the Person of the Holy Spirit. The power and effectiveness when they were full of the Holy Spirit did not originate from the individual. This clearly points to the fact that what the vessel was carrying and expressing was exactly what the Holy Spirit was saying and doing.

Therefore, in this season, we must learn to recognize and listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking through a vessel who is full of the Holy Spirit, rather than being persuaded merely by the title or position of the person speaking. A minister may carry the title of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, or Teacher, but a title by itself cannot give life. What matters is whether the Holy Spirit is actually bearing witness through the vessel speaking.

There is a clear difference between someone speaking by the Holy Spirit and someone simply expressing their personal opinion. When Peter spoke under the influence and fullness of the Holy Spirit, there was a corresponding manifestation of the Lord’s power to confirm the word spoken. However when a person speaks merely from himself, there is no such guarantee of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

This is why we must be careful not to substitute the eloquent words of men for the voice of the Holy Spirit. Jesus made the distinction plainly in John.6:63 that: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.” Human words that originate merely from the flesh cannot produce what only the Spirit can produce.

Even if the speaker carries an apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral, or teaching title, words originating from the flesh remain fleshly words and cannot accomplish the work of the Spirit. The emphasis, therefore, is not on the greatness of the individual speaking but on the fullness of the Holy Spirit within the vessel.

This is why we see the repeated descriptions in the book of Acts of these men: Peter full of the Holy Spirit, Stephen full of the Holy Spirit, Paul full of the Holy Spirit, and Philip full of the Holy Spirit which show us a pattern when the Holy Spirit is speaking. When people are filled with the Holy Spirit and yield themselves to Him, their words and actions become instruments through which the Lord makes Himself known.

The results are always miracles, signs, wonders, and a powerful witness accompanying the proclamation made because the Holy Spirit is actively working through the person. This is especially important for this present season if we are to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s Outpouring.

We must stop allowing ourselves to be deceived or controlled by words that merely come from men that do not save or impart life. We must return to waiting for the voice of the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit gives life while the flesh profits nothing.

Being full of the Holy Spirit is therefore not presented as an optional spiritual experience that we may choose to pursue or ignore. The apostolic instruction to be filled with the Holy Spirit is a command and a necessary part for us to have if we are to fulfil the Lord’s purpose. We need to be full of the Holy Spirit so that the plan of the Lord can be accomplished through us and the Kingdom of Jesus can be established and manifested on the earth.

The challenge for today is therefore very simple and very serious saying that: before you begin speaking “thus saith the Lord,” make sure you are full of the Holy Spirit. Do not speak merely from your own understanding, opinion, emotion, experience, or religious position. Always allow the Holy Spirit to fill you first , then lead you, and bear witness through you. The goal of this spiritual protocol is not for people to hear the individual and merely admire the vessel.

The goal is for people to encounter the living God through what the Holy Spirit speaks and does through that surrendered vessel. When the Holy Spirit is truly speaking through us, He always gives witness to Jesus, brings life to those who hear, and demonstrates that the Lord is alive and actively working among His people just as He did with Jesus in Luke.4 when Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit and returned in the power of the Holy Spirit before He started preaching the Kingdom.

I declare that you are being filled afresh with the Holy Spirit and every voice of the flesh, human opinion, religious tradition, and empty words that have competed with the voice of the Holy Spirit are losing their influence over you. I declare that you will no longer speak merely from yourself, but you will learn to wait upon the Holy Spirit, to hear His voice clearly, and speak only what He gives you to speak.

The Holy Spirit will bear witness of Jesus through you and your words will carry life, grace, truth, and the testimony of Jesus. I declare that your life will become a yielded vessel through which the presence and power of the Lord is revealed. You will no longer be governed by titles, personalities, reputations, or the opinions of men, but by the living voice of the Holy Spirit.

As you remain full of the Spirit, the plan of the Lord will be accomplished through your life, and your obedience will contribute to the establishment and manifestation of the Kingdom of Jesus on the earth. May grace be abundantly multiplied to you to live continually full of the Holy Spirit and to speak only as He gives you utterance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Precious Holy Spirit, I welcome You this morning. Thank You for continuing to remind me of the vast treasures of my inheritance in Jesus and teaching me how to access and walk in what You have already prepared for me. I recognize that this inheritance from is not a wage I have earned but it is a gift from my Father because I am His child. I thank you for letting me know that there are treasures stored up for me in the heavenly realm, and You are teaching me how to walk in the reality of them here and now.

Precious Holy Spirit, saturate me today with the knowledge and understanding of your truth until it is no longer merely information I have learned, but a living reality flowing from within me. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 2:4–5 that our faith should not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. So I do not want to minister or live from myself but I want everything flowing through me to come from You.

Father, I receive the truth of Colossians 1:5—that faith and love are rising within me as I access the treasures of my inheritance stored up in heaven. I also receive 2 Peter 1:19–20, where the prophetic Word is described as a light shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the Morning Star rises in our hearts. So Holy Spirit, let Your Word shine increasingly brightly within me and take every truth I have received and drive it deeply into my heart so that all darkness disappears.

Please let Jesus become the dominant reality within me until His Word is established so deeply within me that what comes out of my mouth carries the life, faith, love, and power of Christ. Please let my life become an overflow of what You have deposited within me as You teach me how to steward faithfully what You have entrusted to me. Dearest Lord I recognize that spiritual access carries responsibility so I humbly ask You to guide me through the process so I lose out on nothing.

Please teach me the importance of the fact that what I do with the truth You give me matters because I want to stop claiming the promises carelessly while refusing the necessary, surrender, obedience and transformation required to walk in them. Please make my heart trustworthy as You search out my motives and intentions to enable You remove everything that causes me to leak what You have entrusted to me or make me dishonour Your name.

Holy Spirit, please correct me as the Father, gives me a heart that welcomes correction. Your Word says in Hebrews 12:5–11 that Your correction and discipline are part of Your dealings with Your children. So Holy Spirit, go ahead and correct me whenever I am wrong particularly where I have presumed on You instead of listened to You, correct me. In places where I have rushed ahead of You, instead of waited on You, please correct me.

Where I have interpreted Your voice according to my own desires, please correct me. Where I have misunderstood Your instructions, kindly correct me because I refuse to run ahead based on my assumptions about what I think You are saying. Please teach me how to stop, then listen, seek confirmation, and wait until I know Your direction clearly because I would rather wait for Your confirmation rather than rush ahead and end up in a ditch.

Today, I surrender my heart and mind completely to You and I receive the grace to take the next right step forward because I believe that the treasures of my inheritance are not merely theological ideas, but they are realities in the Spirit that You want me to learn how to access, steward, and manifest them for the glory of Jesus. So I let faith and love rise within me so that your Word becomes alive within me.

Let the Morning Star Jesus in glory arise in my heart and let the treasures You have prepared for me become increasingly evident through my life. Please Holy Spirit let everything You entrust to me be used faithfully by Your grace abounding towards me for Jesus’s glory and for the blessing of others.

Today I declare that I am being positioned by the Holy Spirit to access the treasures of my inheritance in Jesus because Truth is becoming deeply established in my heart through the Morning Star is rising within me. I declare that my faith and love are increasing which means that I will no longer remain at the surface level of truth because I will be saturated with the Word until it becomes an overflowing reality within me.

I on purpose receive Your correction without resistance and I will never again presume, rush, or run ahead of You Holy Spirit, but I will listen carefully, then confirm Your direction, and take the next right step. I thank You that You are causing me to walk in the necessary correction which is bringing me into greater alignment with the Lord’s purpose for my life.

Thank You Holy Spirit that I am becoming a trustworthy steward of what the Lord entrusts to me. I thank You that this is happening because the Holy Spirit is teaching me how to access and walk in the treasures of my inheritance in Christ and my life is increasingly becoming an overflow of His truth, grace, faith, love, and power.

I declare that I will both will and do what pleases the Lord as I will walk in the reality of what Jesus purchased and paid for me to experience. I declare that I will soar in the Holy Spirit, and my life results will glorify Jesus in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 26:36–38 records that Jesus took Peter, James, and John with Him and allowed them to witness something of His deep agony in prayer. This occurrence does not mean that Jesus arbitrarily loved one disciple more than another but rather, it illustrates that what each person does with the truth, and how each person responds to Jesus, affects what Jesus entrusts to that person.

There is therefore a responsibility attached to our spiritual access of the inheritance which we need to understand. No one is ever promoted unfairly because Jesus deals with each person according to their present walk, commitment, obedience, and stewardship of what He has already revealed to them. So we need to examine whether we are qualified to walk in what we claim we have in the Lord.

During one particular season of my walk with the Holy Spirit, He required me to spend considerable time studying the introductions to the letters written by the Apostles. The purpose was for me to examine and ascertain whether I was actually qualified to experience and walk in the truths contained in those letters rather than simply claiming every promise arbitrarily because it was written in the Bible.

Through that process, I began to recognize what actions I took based on the word that qualified me to partake of those particular truths and where I needed to take further action so that my heart would be properly prepared for more of the inheritance available to me. This reality brought a serious realisation in my walk with the Lord that: the Lord does not entrust His treasures to people who carelessly leak out truth to the enemy or fail to honour Him with what He has already given to them.

The Lord always examines the intent and purposes of the heart and responds to the decisions being made there. Therefore, the state of our inner posture matters greatly to advancement in the Kingdom. Our inheritance is not merely about what the Lord has prepared for us, but it is also about us becoming trustworthy stewards of what He chooses to place in our hands.

The Holy Spirit in this season is bringing these truths to us so that we can honestly assess our walk with the Lord and make whatever corrections are necessary to return to the right place in our relationship with Him so we can move forward into greater spheres of glory. Remember that correction is of utmost importance in the Kingdom of Jesus.

We should develop a willingness—even a desire—to be corrected continually by the Holy Spirit because we are human beings who usually make mistakes in hearing the Lord and in carrying out to the letter what He tells us to do. Hebrews 12:5–11 teaches us about the Father’s correction and discipline over His children. Correction is therefore not something we should resist or despise because it is part of the process by which the Lord trains and develops us.

Too often, we act on our own assumptions about what we think the Lord is saying rather than taking the necessary time to seek Him and confirm exactly what the Holy Spirit is really saying to us. It is always better to wait and confirm the direction of the Holy Spirit than to rush ahead on the assumption that we already know what He wants, only to discover that we have run ourselves into a ditch.

Our willingness to wait, listen, verify, and then obey the Lord protects us from unnecessary mistakes and positions us to receive the fullness of what the Lord has prepared for us to walk in. So just receive the correction and take the next right step the Holy Spirit is leading you to take. The purpose of this message is therefore not merely about hearing words to inform us about an inheritance we have to take but it reveals the steps to bring us into the practical reality of accessing the inheritance.

We are therefore encouraged to receive the truth, through welcoming the correction of the Holy Spirit, and allowing the grace contained in these words to lead us into the next right step. This is because as we make the necessary corrections, our lives become correctly positioned to access the treasures of our inheritance in the Lord and begin walking in the reality of what Jesus purchased and paid for us to experience.

The Holy Spirit wants us to soar in Him rather than remain at a surface level of a Christian experience. He wants truth to become so deeply established within us that it flows out of us as an overflow of His Presence, thus bringing life, grace, faith, and love to others.

Therefore, surrender your heart and mind completely to the Lord by allowing the Holy Spirit to search you, correct you, teach you, confirm His direction, and guide you into the right path. The Holy Spirit will provide you with the grace necessary for you both to will and to do what pleases the Lord.

I declare that you will not remain ignorant of the treasures of your inheritance in the Lord because the Holy Spirit is bringing revelation, correction, wisdom, and grace to position you rightly so that you may access and steward what Jesus has purchased for you.

May the truth become more deeply established in your heart until the Morning Star rises within you and the reality of Christ begins to shine through everything you say and do. May your faith and love rise from within you as the Holy Spirit brings the treasures of your inheritance into experiential reality so your life becomes a witness of the miraculous hand of the Lord on earth in Jesus name.

I declare that you will no longer run ahead presumptuously, nor will you remain stuck in a rut through disobedience or a resistance to correction. I declare that you will hear the Holy Spirit clearly, then wait for His confirmation, to enable you to take the next right step, and walk in the path He has prepared for you.

May every necessary correction you make bring you into greater alignment with the purpose of the Lord and may every treasure the Lord has appointed for your stewardship be accessed in His timing and be used for His glory. I declare that you are being positioned strategically to walk in the fullness of what Jesus purchased and paid for you to experience.

I declare that you will soar in the Holy Spirit, and your life will become an overflow of His truth, grace, faith, love, and power. May the Holy Spirit give you every grace required to surrender your heart and mind completely to the Lord, so that you are able both to will and to do for His good pleasure in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today I am sharing part of my communion time with the Holy Spirit on Accessing the Treasures of My Inheritance.

This morning, during my communion time with the Holy Spirit, He emphasised the theme of our inheritance in the Lord and reinforced how important it is for us to understand and maximize the inheritance available to us in this present season.

From my previous experiences with the Holy Spirit on many important matters, I have learned that when we become completely saturated with truth and filled to overflowing with it, what comes out of us is no longer merely something we have studied or learned intellectually. It becomes an overflow and outpouring of the Holy Spirit from within us.

There is a vast difference between speaking from ourselves and ministering from what the Holy Spirit has deposited within us. When truth flows from the Holy Spirit, it brings life to the hearer and supplies grace for the hearer to believe, receive, and act upon that same truth. This is the reality reflected in 1 Corinthians 2:4–5.

In Colossians 1:5, Paul speaks of the faith and love of the believers rising within them as they access the treasures of their inheritance stored up in the heavenly realm. This points to something much deeper than merely knowing biblical truth on the surface. It speaks of truth becoming established within the heart until it produces an experiential reality.

The prophetic word becomes like a light shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in the heart. This connects with what Peter says in 2 Peter 1:19–20. As the Word continues to shine within the heart, it grows brighter and brighter until Jesus, the Morning Star, becomes the dominant reality within that person.

At that point, the Word is no longer merely something being repeated from our mouths from the outside. It has become an inward reality in our lives. It reveals that the truth has been established so deeply in the heart that when it is spoken, it carries the impact of Jesus speaking through the person. Faith and love rise together because the truth has become experiential, and the love of God has been shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit.

As this transformation takes place in the heart, access is granted to the treasures of our inheritance stored up for us in the heavenly realm. This inheritance should not be understood as one isolated treasure, like a single expensive diamond or sapphire. The picture is of many precious treasures such as numerous diamonds and sapphires in the plural, already stored up and ready for dispatch to their rightful owners.

The issue is therefore not whether the Lord has made provision because the treasures have already been prepared and stored up. The question is whether we are walking in the kind of relationship with Jesus that enables us to access and steward what He has made available to us. This access is not presented as something to be claimed arbitrarily merely because a promise appears in the Bible.

It belongs to those who have taken Jesus seriously at His word, laid down their lives to serve Him, meditated upon His words, continually confessed what the Holy Spirit is saying, and walked in the light He has given them. The developing relationship between Jesus and His Apostles demonstrates this principle in action.

So although Jesus had twelve Apostles, not all twelve were taken onto the mountain of transfiguration. Peter, James, and John were the only ones permitted to accompany Jesus and witness that extraordinary event in Matthew 17:1–8. Likewise, these same three disciples were permitted to accompany Jesus more closely during His prayer time in the Garden of Gethsemane immediately before His death.

I declare that you will not remain ignorant of the treasures of your inheritance in the Lord because the Holy Spirit is bringing revelation, correction, wisdom, and grace to position you rightly so that you may access and steward what Jesus has purchased for you.

May the truth become more deeply established in your heart until the Morning Star rises within you and the reality of Christ begins to shine through everything you say and do. May your faith and love rise from within you as the Holy Spirit brings the treasures of your inheritance into experiential reality so your life becomes a witness of the miraculous hand of the Lord on earth in Jesus name. Amen.
