During my communion time with the Holy Spirit this morning, He spoke to me about how we as followers of Jesus should be partaking of the inheritance of the saints in the light which has been laid up for us in the heavenly places.

He impressed upon my heart that we must actively receive and enjoy everything the Lord has provided for us. We must never become satisfied with even significant breakthroughs or increases, but we should be continually pressing forward until we possess all the fullness of our inheritance in Christ.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that although He has spoken to me about this truth on previous occasions, His desire remains unchanged that we should not come short of any promise the Father has prepared for us. He is not content that we have merely experienced financial miracles, supernatural provision, and remarkable breakthroughs. Rather, He wants us to possess the complete inheritance allocated to us according to the Lord’s riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

In a gentle and humorous way, the Holy Spirit reminded me that the promise is that the Lord supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus and not according to the limitations of our own hearts or our restricted expectations.

There is an enormous difference between the Lord’s limitless provision and the boundaries we often place upon Him through our limited believing. This realisation continually challenges me to enlarge my faith, renew my thinking, agree with the Lord’s perspective on things, and draw upon the grace He supplies to receive what He has already prepared for us.

The Holy Spirit then brought back to my remembrance a word He spoke to me in Texas from John 6:37 & 39, where Jesus declared that all the Father has given Him will come to Him and that it is the Father’s will that He should lose nothing of all that has been entrusted to Him.

Those verses became a song the Lord gave me, a melody He has repeatedly used to strengthen my faith, encourage my heart, and propel me to pursue everything the Father has prepared for me in this present life. They continually remind me to expect the fulfilment of Ephesians 3:20 which states that the Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to His power at work within us.

These truths have enabled me over the years to lay hold of far more than seemed naturally possible. Even in seasons where circumstances suggested there was nothing available, the Lord faithfully opened unexpected avenues of supernatural provision and supply.

When the Holy Spirit specifically instructed me to partake of the inheritance, He revealed that I was still not experiencing everything available to me. His desire is for us to actively engage with the inheritance He has already assigned to us, which amounts to receiving greater measures, greater abundance, and a greater weight of glory from His heavenly riches instead of living within the confines of our own limitations.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that I possess the right to draw from the heavenly account the Lord has established for us which is a supply that can never be exhausted, stolen from, or diminished. Just as Jesus taught us concerning receiving treasures laid up in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves cannot break through and steal, the Lord has reserved an unfailing inheritance for His children to receive by faith.

I remain deeply grateful for the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who continually alerts us whenever we begin settling for less than the Lord’s best. He lovingly stirs our hearts, by reminding us when we are falling short of our benefits, and encourages us to enlarge the capacity of our faith so that we may receive more of what has already been prepared for us. The Holy Spirit consistently urges us to go beyond our previous experiences because He desires us to walk in the greater works Jesus promised.

As Jesus declared, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” The Holy Spirit continually presents fresh opportunities for us to believe more, receive more, and experience greater dimensions of the Lord’s inheritance prepared for us than we have previously known. As a personal testimony, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a time when we needed to purchase a vehicle. We only had £5,000 and were carefully considering what that amount could buy.

While seeking the Lord’s direction, the Holy Spirit interrupted my thinking and said that the vehicle I was about to settle for did not reflect what I had believed Him for and that choosing it would mean settling way below His best for me because of my limited faith. Upon hearing this correction, I immediately changed my mind and asked the Lord what He desired me to purchase instead.

Within only a few months, through a series of events orchestrated by the Holy Spirit, I was able to purchase a much larger vehicle, paying cash for one worth more than double the amount we originally possessed.

The Lord gently reminded me that this reflected what He had intended all along and showed me how easily I could have settled for mediocrity simply because I judged His provision by what was currently in my hand instead of trusting His supernatural ability to provide beyond all natural limitations. Many years later, the Holy Spirit remains exactly the same. He continually places before me fresh opportunities to trust Him for more of my inheritance and to receive all that the Father has prepared.

So today I encourage you to receive this same grace because it is for all who believe and trust in the Lord to provide. Allow the Holy Spirit to enlarge your faith capacity, by expanding out your expectations, and leading you into unchartered areas in life to possess the unique inheritance the Father has prepared specifically for your life.

Refuse to settle for less than His best. Lay hold of His supernatural provision, by allowing Him to bring you beyond your comfort zone, by stepping you confidently into the realm where His abundant supply exceeds all natural limitations.

I declare in the name of Jesus that the Holy Spirit is enlarging your capacity to receive your full inheritance in Christ. Every limitation placed upon your believing is being broken off now, and your heart is being stretched to agree with the Lord’s unlimited provision. May you partake fully of every promise, every blessing, every supernatural provision, and every divine assignment prepared for your expansion.

May all heavenly resources be released into your life, to open doors no man can shut and supplying every need in your life according to His riches in glory. May you refuse to settle for less than the Lord’s best and abound in every good thing He has ordained for you, as you walk in the fullness of your inheritance and bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

This message begins with the Holy Spirit calling for us as followers of Jesus to intentionally set apart structured, consistent time each day to meet with Him so we may be taught and instructed in righteousness and how it operates practically in our lives. While many already spend time with the Lord, the Holy Spirit emphasises that this communion time must now become a deliberate priority with an established daily pattern rather than something fitted around your other family responsibilities.

The Holy Spirit made a comparison with the level of daily discipline people demonstrate toward their employment or business. Even followers of Jesus willingly rise early, arrive on time, and faithfully fulfil their responsibilities and obligations because they value their employer, with a desire to be trustworthy, and recognise the rewards that come from faithful service.

The Holy Spirit in like manner is calling for followers of Jesus to apply this same diligence, commitment, and intentionality to their relationship with the Lord, for the value they place on fellowship you have with Jesus is demonstrated by the priority you give to seeking Him. Exodus 20:3 reminds us that the Lord must hold first place in our lives.

The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to the perfect example in the life of Jesus. Luke 5:16 reveals that Jesus “made a practice of withdrawing to remote places in order to pray.” This was not an occasional event but a consistent habit that shaped His entire ministry. Jesus deliberately withdrew from people to spend uninterrupted time with the Father, because His highest priority was knowing and carrying out the Father’s will. As John 5:19 declares, Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing.

Human reasoning might suggest that because Jesus came to save people, His priority should have been spending as much time as possible with them. Yet Jesus demonstrated the opposite principle. He first withdrew to seek the Father, and from the overflow of that intimate communion He ministered effectively to people. His public ministry flowed from His private fellowship with the Father. This divine pattern enabled Him to accomplish the Father’s plan perfectly and secure salvation for mankind.

Observing this remarkable relationship with the Father the disciples asked Jesus, as recorded in Luke 11, to teach them how to pray. This message challenges the common mindset which states that scheduled, disciplined time with the Lord somehow represents legalism or bondage, while busyness in serving people is viewed as the greater priority. The Holy Spirit corrected this misunderstanding by pointing us as followers of Jesus back to Jesus’ own teaching.

Jesus instructed His followers to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and He also declared that anyone who desires to follow Him must first deny themselves daily, take up their cross, and follow Him. Matthew 16:24 demonstrates that true discipleship requires following Jesus’ example, including His practice of consistently withdrawing to seek the Father before engaging in ministry.

This pattern established by Jesus continued through the ministry of the early Church. In Acts 6:2–4, when practical needs threatened to consume the apostles’ time, they firmly declared that it was not right for them to neglect prayer and the ministry of the Word in order to serve tables. Instead, they appointed others to oversee practical responsibilities while they devoted themselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word.

They understood that their effectiveness in serving people depended upon maintaining their priority of seeking the Lord first. Their remarkable fruitfulness flowed directly from preserving this divine order. The Holy Spirit therefore is calling for us as Jesus’s followers to return to this original practice of making intimate fellowship with Him our highest priority. As we intentionally withdraw to spend quality time with the Lord, we will become filled afresh with His Presence, wisdom, power, and direction.

From that place of continual communion, our lives will increasingly reflect the Lord’s nature, by producing greater spiritual fruit, and advancing more rapidly according to His purposes. This message concludes by encouraging the followers of Jesus to allow the Holy Spirit to rekindle their zeal for the Father’s house and restore the passion for daily communion with Him.

As you consistently withdraw to be taught, strengthened, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, you will return to your daily responsibilities carrying His Presence and power, by bringing lasting transformation to lives, expanding the Kingdom of Jesus on the earth, and glorifying His Name. This rhythm of withdrawing to seek the Lord and returning to minister from His fullness is presented as the pattern every disciple should pursue to ensure long lasting productivity in the Kingdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that the Holy Spirit is awakening within you a fresh hunger and unwavering commitment to seek the Lord above all else. May He establish within your heart a holy discipline to set apart consistent, intentional time for fellowship with Him, where you will be taught, instructed, corrected, and established in righteousness.

According to Exodus 20:3, I declare that the Lord shall have first place in your life, and every competing priority that seeks to diminish your communion with Him shall lose its influence over you. Your love for Jesus will be demonstrated through your faithful devotion and joyful obedience.

According to Luke 5:16 and John 5:19, may you develop the practice of withdrawing to go be with the Father until His voice becomes your greatest delight and His will becomes your daily pursuit. Like Jesus, may every work you undertake flow from your intimate communion with the Holy Spirit rather than human effort.

I declare that the grace to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness shall rest mightily upon you. According to Matthew 16:24, may you willingly deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Christ with steadfast devotion, by becoming a true disciple whose life reflects the pattern of the Master.

According to Acts 6:2–4, may prayer and the ministry of the Word become the enduring priorities of your life. As you continually give yourself to communion with the Holy Spirit, may His wisdom, power, revelation, and anointing increase upon you, by enabling you to minister more effectively and bear lasting fruit for His Kingdom.

May the zeal for the Father’s house consume your heart afresh, according to John 2:17. May you continually withdraw into the secret place to be filled with the Holy Spirit and return carrying His Presence, His authority, and His power to transform lives, glorify Jesus Christ, and advance His Kingdom on the earth.

May your life become a continual cycle of abiding in His Presence and overflowing with His glory, until many are drawn to Christ through the fruit of your communion with Him in the mighty and glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

During a time of intimate fellowship, the Holy Spirit revealed His loving nature as the One who continually lifts His people, by encouraging us to pursue greater depths of His Presence, higher realms of glory, and a fuller experience of His promises. He reminded me that there is a profound difference between merely knowing the Scriptures intellectually and experiencing the reality of those Scriptures through the life-giving ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Throughout my walk with the Lord, every genuine spiritual experience has first been rooted in the written Word and then brought into living reality as the Holy Spirit made those truths personal and experiential. Through the Holy Spirit, biblical truth becomes an owned reality in our lives rather than just mere knowledge.

As I reflected on my early Christian life experience, explaining that although I had genuinely encountered the Person of the Holy Spirit at salvation, he had not yet experienced the fullness of the Holy Spirit or spoken in tongues. During that period, many within church circles insisted that I did not possess the Holy Spirit because I did not speak in tongues, claiming that tongues alone were the evidence of the Holy Spirit’s presence.

So rather than accepting human opinions on scripture, I chose to develop an intense passion for studying Scripture, by seeking to know Jesus Himself. I wanted to know His thoughts, His mind, and His truth rather than just relying upon the traditions and conclusions of men. This commitment enabled me to defend the truths of the gospel from Scripture itself, even while others continued insisting that I lacked the Holy Spirit.

I recall conversations with my mother, who was also a Christian who prayed continually for my salvation. She had been taught that the few words she spoke in tongues would gradually develop over time, but much of her understanding came primarily from church teaching rather than from personal study of Scripture herself. I continually challenged these teachings that could not be supported by the Bible, choosing instead to stand upon what the Lord’s Word actually declared.

One example that deeply affected me was the teaching that divine healing had ceased after the apostolic age and that the Lord had supposedly delegated healing entirely to modern medicine. Rejecting this doctrine, I pointed to Luke, the beloved physician who authored both the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. Although Luke was a doctor, He consistently recorded Jesus and the apostles healing by the power of the Lord rather than attributing healing to a medical practice. This is what convinced me of the fact that the Lord has still remained the Healer for all who believe.

During this time I further reflected upon my mother’s own testimony. Despite doctors warning that she should terminate her pregnancy with my older brother because of the severe medical risks of extremely high blood pressure and they continually predicting that either she or the baby would die, she chose to trust the Lord.

Following a Caesarean delivery, she had him and then she later gave birth to the me naturally two years afterward. Although she had personally experienced the Lord’s miraculous intervention through her faith, she later found herself influenced by teachings that healing had ceased.

This experience she went through became a strong warning against allowing human traditions particularly when they were taught by respected ministers which the enemy uses to rob us the followers of Jesus of biblical truth. This is why I continually urge followers of Jesus never to accept man’s report on things above the Lord’s Word.

Throughout that season, I remained convinced that I possessed the Holy Spirit because Scripture clearly testified to the Spirit’s work within my life. On numerous occasions I defended these truths so effectively from the Bible that those opposing me became frustrated, because they were relying on unsupported assertions rather than scriptural evidence.

Eventually, during a private time of worship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit at home, the Holy Spirit sovereignly filled me in a new way with the Holy Spirit. I began speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave me utterance just as the believers did on the Day of Pentecost. I spoke in tongues for hours, and simultaneously received the interpretation of the tongues, and also prophesied. This marked a significant new dimension in my relationship with the Lord.

During this experience, the Holy Spirit instructed me to stand before a mirror and observe myself while speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit showed me that my natural mind was not producing the words. Instead, the utterance flowed directly from the Lord through my spirit, which confirmed the biblical truth that “he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God.” This personal revelation established him in the reality of the baptism and fullness of the Holy Spirit.

From that day forward, an entirely new realm of spiritual growth, revelation, and glory opened before me, continuing to increase throughout my walk with the Lord. When my mother later heard me praying fluently in tongues, she recognised the difference between what she had previously experienced and the fuller reality demonstrated through the Holy Spirit.

Desiring that same genuine experience, she responded to the biblical truth I shared with her, and the Lord likewise filled her in a much greater way. This became further evidence that faithful pursuit of biblical truth not only transforms one’s own life but also becomes a blessing to others who follow afterward.

The central message is a call never to surrender our pursuit of the Lord’s truth because of pressure, criticism, or limiting doctrines taught by others. As followers of Jesus we must move beyond human reasoning, traditions, fears, and theological limitations by embracing what the Lord’s Word actually promises. As we believe and receive His Word, the Holy Spirit will faithfully bring its realities into their lives.

Finally, let me share what I perceive the Holy Spirit is revealing prophetically to us because as these truths are received, spiritual chains are breaking off you. Long-forgotten promises, abandoned expectations, and supernatural realities that you once longed for, but you were discouraged from pursuing by others, are being reawakened in your hearts again.

The Holy Spirit is restoring a fresh hunger for His fullness, by reactivating dormant faith, and is preparing you as followers of Jesus to experience greater manifestations of God’s glory that you should have entered years ago. As you fully surrender yourselves to the Holy Spirit, you will be overtaken with joy unspeakable and glorious manifestations of the Lord’s Presence.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that the Holy Spirit is drawing you into a deeper fellowship with Himself, by opening your understanding to experience not merely the knowledge of His Word but the living reality of every promise He has spoken concerning your life.

I declare that every chain of religious tradition, human limitation, false doctrine, and unbelief that has hindered your spiritual growth is broken off now in Jesus name. Every teaching that has robbed you of confidence in the fullness of the Lord’s promises is being exposed by the Spirit of Truth, and your heart is being firmly established upon the unchanging authority of the Lord’s Word.

I declare that the Holy Spirit is awakening within you a fresh hunger to know Jesus personally beyond the opinions of men. So ss you pursue Him through His Word, He will faithfully reveal Himself to you and bring Scripture to life until His truth becomes your daily experience.

I declare that every dormant promise, forgotten vision, and neglected expectation is being revived within your hearts. The gifts, manifestations, and works of the Holy Spirit that you once longed for, but which you were discouraged from believing, are being stirred afresh by the grace of God working in you. What blessings that have been delayed shall now begin to manifest according to the perfect timing of the Lord.

May your life increasingly reflect the fullness of the Holy Spirit as He leads, empowers, teaches, comforts, and glorifies Jesus through your life. May your worship, your prayers, your testimony, and every expression of your life become a channel through which the wonderful works of the Lord are revealed on the earth.

I declare that you shall move beyond second-hand knowledge into first-hand encounters with the living God. Joy unspeakable and full of glory shall fill your heart as the Holy Spirit manifests His Presence in ever-increasing measure, and through your life many others shall also be encouraged to pursue the fullness of Christ in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

This message concludes the Holy Spirit’s teaching on the surrendering of our wills to the Lord, by emphasising the fact that every follower of Jesus is called to make the Lord’s will their supreme pursuit, just as Jesus Himself did. The Holy Spirit directs us as followers of Jesus to meditate on John 5:30 (Amplified Classic Bible), where Jesus declares His complete dependence upon and submission to the Father’s will. This truth is presented as the key to avoiding many unnecessary trials, struggles, and delays in our Christian walk.

I can clearly recall the seasons in my walk with the Lord when the anointing of the Holy Spirit rested tangibly upon me in an extraordinary measure, with the Holy Spirit moving powerfully through miracles and supernatural manifestations of the power of the Lord. During those times of intense awareness of the Lord’s Presence, my greatest desire was not for material blessings but for an enduring lifelong relationship with the Lord.

My heartfelt prayer in those moments was that nothing within him would ever cause me to lose that divine Presence I was experiencing, and I continually asked the Lord to preserve me so I would remain His faithful servant, by following the example of Jesus.

Many years later, during a season of personal weakness, the Holy Spirit reminded me of those earlier prayers of surrender to Him. The Lord assured me through those vicious trials that I would endure because, in my strongest spiritual moments, I had willingly chosen to ask the Lord to keep me from falling away. Since that decision had been sincerely entrusted to the Lord, the Lord Himself remained faithful to sustain the choice I had made for Him so He preserved me through those times of weakness and fulfilled what I had committed to Him. 2 Timothy 2:12.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that during those seasons of great anointing I did not ask the Lord primarily for earthly possessions or personal prosperity. Instead, I sought for the supernatural grace, spiritual strength, and the Lord’s sustaining power for future moments when I might be weak or vulnerable, in other words for the times ahead I could not yet foresee. The Holy Spirit demonstrated His faithfulness by answering those prayers when those difficult seasons eventually arrived.

This message describes the overwhelming reality of walking under a strong anointing of the Holy Spirit. In such moments, we as Jesus’s followers must become deeply aware that with the Lord all things are possible. Fear, anxiety, and personal limitations fade into oblivion because it is the Holy Spirit Himself who is working within and through His servant, by supplying both the desire and the ability to accomplish His purposes. Philippians 2:13.

The Holy Spirit then broadened the scope of this personal testimony into a principle for every follower of Jesus to adopt. Anyone who willingly chooses to obey the Lord and surrenders His life that is his mind, will, emotions and intellect to the Lord to accomplish His will can expect the Holy Spirit to provide every necessary resource, strength, wisdom, and assistance required to fulfil that calling. Divine empowerment always follows willing surrender.

This message carefully distinguishes this action from being forced by the Lord into obedience. The Lord never coerces or compels His children against their will. Instead, He lovingly presents the truth and invites us to make a voluntary choice based upon the reality of His goodness. True love and obedience always arise from a willing surrender to the Lord rather than on obligation.

The Holy Spirit pointed out the fact that only a deceived heart would reject life when life is clearly offered. Humanity’s natural heart is inclined toward deception, thus making right choices impossible apart from the Lord’s transforming work in us. Only by receiving what Jesus accomplished through His sacrifice for us can we as His followers receive a new heart that loves truth and desires the Lord’s will. Jeremiah 17:9–10.

The Holy Spirit then declared that this revelation is intended to remove decades of confusion concerning the Lord’s will in our lives. As we Jesus’s followers reflect upon our lives, we will begin to recognise the occasions where our purposeful choosing of the Lord’s will released divine strength and enabled us to go ahead and accomplish what He had called us to do.

You will also recognise the moments where indecision, hesitation, or an unwillingness to make a clear choice for the Lord left you spiritually vulnerable and prevented the Lord’s purposes from being fully realised in your lives.

This message further promises that the Holy Spirit will always expose areas where offence toward the Lord has developed, which affects clear-cut decision-making and opens doors to satanic manipulation. Such wavering has often resulted in fruitless spiritual battles that produced neither lasting victory nor Kingdom fruit. Yet the Holy Spirit declares that this season of uncertainty is coming to an end in your life experience.

From this point forward, as a follower of Jesus you are encouraged to make firm, wholehearted choices for the Lord. As you willingly surrender your wills to Him, the Holy Spirit Himself will stand behind those decisions you chose, and supply you all the resources of heaven necessary to accomplish the Lord’s purposes on earth. Those of you who continue choosing the Lord will witness the tangible manifestation of His miraculous power working in your lives on a daily basis.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that your heart is being established in complete surrender to the will of God. According to John 5:30, may the mind and attitude of Christ become your own, so that your highest desire will be to seek and accomplish the Father’s will above every personal ambition.

I declare that every decision you make to follow the Lord will be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. As you willingly choose His ways, heaven’s resources will be released on your behalf. According to 2 Timothy 2:12 and Philippians 2:13, the Lord Himself will sustain you in seasons of weakness, by empowering you to persevere, and accomplish His good pleasure through your life.

I declare that every deception rooted in the natural heart is being broken off you in Jesus name. According to Jeremiah 17:9–10, may the Lord search your heart, purify your motives, and establish within you a heart that delights in truth, which willingly chooses life, righteousness, and obedience.

Every spirit of indecision, offence, wavering, and spiritual uncertainty is broken off you in Jesus’ name. The Holy Spirit will illuminate your path, strengthen your resolve, and confirm your choices as you walk in wholehearted surrender to Him. You will no longer be vulnerable to the enemy’s manipulation, but you will stand firm, fruitful, and established in the will of God.

I declare that as you continue choosing the Lord in every circumstance, the Holy Spirit will back your obedience with His power, wisdom, grace, and miraculous intervention. You shall see the tangible manifestation of the hand of the Lord upon your life, fulfilling every purpose He has ordained for you, and your life will become a testimony of His faithfulness and glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

In this first part of the my communion time, the Holy Spirit taught about the importance of us surrendering our will to the Lord, by revealing how His power is released on our behalf when we willingly choose His will above our own.

The Holy Spirit then began by highlighting one of the greatest privileges the Lord has given humanity which is the freedom of choice. Unlike the rest of creation, human beings alone have been given a free will, thus enabling us to make decisions that shape the course and outcome of our lives.

So the choices we make determine the direction we follow and the fruit we ultimately experience. The Lord, in His goodness, has already provided every piece of wisdom, counsel, understanding and instruction that is necessary for us to choose rightly and walk in the path that brings life, blessing, and profit. Yet although He faithfully reveals the right way, He does not make our decisions for us. Proverbs 14:12.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that the Lord will never remove our responsibility to choose the path we want. He lovingly advises us and continually points us toward the best path, but the final decision always rests with us.

Scripture demonstrates this principle in the blessings and consequences set before God’s people in Israel, showing that our response to His Word determines the outcome we experience. Deuteronomy 28:1–2, 15.

This message acknowledges the reality that people often become frustrated with the responsibility of expressing free will, especially when they begin to experience the painful consequences of poor decisions. It is always very easy to blame God, by wishing that He had simply forced our obedience instead of allowing us to choose. However, the Holy Spirit explains that the Lord created humanity in His own image and likeness, which includes the capacity to exercise our own will.

So because the Lord Himself possesses a will, He created mankind with the dignity and responsibility of making genuine choices. The Lord never violates our will because He desires a relationship built upon our voluntary love, willing obedience, and genuine devotion to Him rather than obedience based on compulsion or coercion. The Lord wants His children to choose Him freely from their own hearts having looked at the facts comprehensively.

The Holy Spirit then pointed to the perfect example in the life of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. As recorded in Luke 22:39–45, Matthew 26:36–46, and Mark 14:32–42, Jesus experienced the profound conflict between His own human desire and the Father’s will.

He honestly presented His request before the Father, asking whether there was another way to accomplish humanity’s salvation without enduring the suffering of the cross. Yet after receiving the Father’s answer, Jesus willingly surrendered His own preference and declared, “Nevertheless, Your will be done.”

This word emphasises the fact that it was only after Jesus made the deliberate choice to embrace the Father’s will that the necessary supernatural strength was released to sustain Him. Angelic assistance was sent, empowering Him to continue praying with even greater intensity until His sweat became like drops of blood. Heaven’s help accompanied His surrendered will, enabling Him to accomplish the Father’s purpose despite the immense cost.

The Holy Spirit concluded this discourse with an assurance to us as Jesus’s followers that the same principle applies for our lives today. When we willingly choose the Lord’s will above our own, He does not leave us alone to fulfil it in our own strength.

Instead, He supplies all the supernatural grace, strength, wisdom, and heavenly assistance we need to carry us through every challenge that arises until His purposes are accomplished. The responsibility is ours to choose Him, but once that surrender of our heart is made to Him, all of heaven stands ready to support the fulfilment of the Lord’s plan for our lives.

I declare in the name of Jesus that your heart will willingly choose the perfect will of the Father above every competing desire in you. May the Holy Spirit fill you with all wisdom to discern the right path which leads to life and profit, and may you reject every way that seems right in your own eyes but leads away from the Lord’s purposes to death ravines. (Proverbs 14:12).

As you choose on purpose to obey the Lord, may the blessings of covenant obedience rest upon your life according to Deuteronomy 28:1–2, and may every wrong path be forsaken through His grace working in you. Just as Jesus surrendered to the Father’s will in Luke 22:39–45, Matthew 26:36–46, and Mark 14:32–42, may you receive supernatural strength, divine grace, and heavenly assistance to accomplish everything the Lord has appointed for you to do on earth.

I declare that you will not walk alone and as you surrender your will to the Lord, heaven will support you, the Holy Spirit will empower you, and the Lord’s purposes will be fulfilled through your life. May your obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit unlock fresh manifestations of His power, favour, and victory for you, and may His perfect will be established in every area of your life for His glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit reminded me during worship that the He the Lord who never changes and that His compassion never fails. The same compassion that moved Jesus throughout His earthly ministry to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and rescue those bound by the devil is still fully available today to free us.

Therefore, as followers of Jesus we should confidently expect His compassion to work in our own lives, thus bringing freedom from every bondage, entanglement, and stronghold, and leading us into the perfect liberty in Christ. Matthew 14:14; Mark 1:41.

The Holy Spirit desires passionately for us as Jesus’s followers to experience the reality of everything Scripture reveals about what Jesus has done for us and to partake fully of all that the Father has graciously provided for our enrichment and edification. The Lord’s intention has never been for His children to live in lack or fall short of His abundant provision, but to share in all the good things He has made available oy us through His divine promises. 2 Peter 1:2–4.

The Holy Spirit then emphasised the certainty of the unchanging faithfulness of Jesus as the foundation for our unwavering confidence in His ability to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Because Jesus never changes, everything He has done before He is still able and very willing to do for us today.

This truth is reinforced in John 20:30–31, where we are told that the miracles recorded in Scripture were written so that people would believe Jesus is the Christ and, through believing these words, we receive life in His name.

As the Holy Spirit unveiled this passage, it dawned on me that every work Jesus performed in Scripture was recorded not merely for historical knowledge but so we His followers could also expect those same works to become realities in our own lives through faith. This understanding was strengthened further in me by Jesus’ promise that those who believe in Him would do the works that He did and greater. John 14:12–14.

The Holy Spirit then revealed an important distinction between believing what Jesus said and receiving the package of the blessing in the natural realm. Previously, not having full knowledge of the full truth I had assumed that believing alone was sufficient because Scripture repeatedly calls us as followers to faith.

Yet the Holy Spirit taught me the fact that believing and receiving are two distinct acts. Believing establishes our heart confidence in the Lord’s promise, while receiving is the personal act of taking possession of what the Lord has already provided in this natural realm.

The Holy Spirit illustrated us receiving as us accepting a package delivered personally to our home address. A parcel may arrive at someone’s address, but until it is actually received, opened, and possessed, its contents cannot be enjoyed. Likewise, the Lord’s promises may be believed, but they are experienced as we deliberately receive them by faith into the now of our lives.

This revelation of receiving the package in the natural realm transformed the my walk with the Lord. This resulted in my prayers becoming more than just believing the Lord would answer, to it becoming the intentional act of receiving the answer into my heart and life while thanking the Lord in advance for its manifestation. I learned to pray not only, “I believe,” but also, “I now receive everything You have provided for me.” Luke 11:10; John 16:24.

The Holy Spirit showed how these seemingly small adjustments often become the difference between near victories and actual manifested triumphs. As I have practised receiving what I believed for, I have been experiencing much greater manifestation of the Lord’s promises by regular manifestations in the now. I have also realised just how many blessings I had unknowingly failed to enjoy because I had only believed the promise, but never consciously received them in the now of life.

So rather than leaving me discouraged, the Holy Spirit demonstrated His ministry as a present Helper by showing me how even previously missed opportunities could be recovered through obedient attention to His guidance on how to recover them in prayer. This further revealed the reality of the faithfulness and practical help of the Holy Spirit. John 14:26. The Holy Spirit is therefore encouraging every follower of Jesus to receive everything the Father has already assigned for them.

This in real terms involves more than just an inward belief, but involves heart felt believing by embracing on purpose the Lord’s promises with deliberate faith and confessing that they are already personally receive. As Romans 10:10 teaches, the heart believes unto righteousness, but confession with the mouth is what brings salvation and deliverance into practical experience.

This message concludes by affirming that everything the Lord has accomplished through those who walked with Him in Scripture is available for us His followers today because those testimonies were recorded for our benefit. This truth has strengthened my resolve and determination to receive and experience every promise the Lord has prepared for me, thus refusing to be responsible for neglecting what the Father desires to give to me.

As followers of Jesus we are encouraged to embrace the grace imparted to us through these truths, to boldly receive the Lord’s promises personally, and step into a lifestyle where the miraculous hand of the Lord becomes our continual daily testimony, of living in the realm where all things are possible with Him because we just fully believe Him.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that the unchanging compassion of the Lord is being manifested in your life today. So according to Matthew 14:14 and Mark 1:41, may His compassion bring you total healing, deliverance, restoration, and freedom from every oppression and every entanglement that has held you back.

I declare that you will not merely believe the promises of the Lord, but that you will receive them in your lives. As you embrace by faith everything the Father has provided through Christ, every promise written for your benefit will begin to manifest in your life. According to John 20:30–31, John 14:12–14, Luke 11:10, John 16:24, John 14:26, Romans 10:10, and 2 Peter 1:2–4, may the Holy Spirit teach you, guide you, and establish you in the reality of possessing what the Lord has already made available for you.

May every delayed promise come into its appointed season of manifestation in your lives. May every vision ordained by the Lord be fulfilled at the proper time in your life. May the Holy Spirit help you recover every blessing you previously missed out on through a lack of understanding, lead you into the fullness of your inheritance in Christ.

I declare that the miraculous hand of the Lord will become your testimony, His compassion become your daily experience, and His glory your continual portion, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

This message begins with a declaration of Psalm.118:24’s invitation to rejoice in each new day and be glad, by emphasising the fact that every new day is a fresh beginning ordained by the Lord. The Holy Spirit then drew my attention to a vital issue in the follower of Jesus’s walk on how much value we place on people’s words spoken as compared with the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit.

The central exhortation is that as followers of Jesus we must intentionally prioritise our total agreement with, confession of, and obedience to the Holy Spirit’s words, because it is through His revealed Word that we will prosper and experience true success in life. The Holy Spirit highlighted John 5:19, where Jesus declared these words that:“The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” (John 5:19)

This points to the fact that although Jesus Himself was the living Word of God, He did not operate independently from His Father’s present direction. So rather than relying merely on His knowledge of Scripture, Jesus depended upon the Holy Spirit’s daily revelation of the Father’s will spoken to Him thus demonstrating the importance of communion with the Holy Spirit. This serves as the pattern for every follower of Jesus to follow as the model in our lives.

The Holy Spirit went on to ask an important question on how much time we are spending observing what He is saying and doing compared with just simply acting on what we already think we know from Scripture?

The warning is that it is very easy to become trapped in religious routines as we just keep doing things for the Lord based on habit, tradition, or accumulated knowledge, rather than yielding to the Holy Spirit’s present leading, which often requires faith actions because it leads us beyond natural reasoning. As 2 Corinthians 3:6 reminds us, it is the Spirit who gives life. The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to Joshua 1:1–7, where the Lord gives Joshua extraordinary promises concerning the conquest of the Promised Land.

Yet before Joshua could ever experience any of those promises, the Lord established an essential condition and pattern for living in Joshua 1:8 which reads these words that:“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

This word reveals the Lord’s divine order for success. It makes clear that the first priority in life is knowing the Word of God, and now in our dispensation now fulfilled in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is what must continually remain in our mouths, and not merely in our thoughts or private reading. As taught in Romans 8:1–17, we as Jesus’s followers now live under the law of the Spirit of life, which has set us free from the law of sin and death.

The Holy Spirit asks us as Jesus’s followers to examine how consistently we are confessing what Jesus says about us. Are we following what Psalm 107:2 declares which is:“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”We must recognise that our confession is not optional, but that it is part of our daily meditation itself. The second priority is continual meditation, of speaking the Lord’s word day and night until it fills our hearts and aligns our thinking with the Lord’s perspective on things.

According to Romans 10:10, our believing in the heart must be accompanied by our confession with the mouth:” For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10).

This process of confession positions us to observe what the Holy Spirit is revealing so we can obey it. Our meditation time is not just merely repeating Scripture because it develops our spiritual perception so that we can accurately recognise the Lord’s direction and know what He is specifically instructing us to do at any given moment.

It is only after this process of meditation and observance that we find prosperity and good success following. The pathway to victory is not acting quickly on what seems obvious in the natural, but on discerning the path the Holy Spirit reveals to us.

This message illustrates this through the life of Joshua himself. Where years earlier, he and Caleb returned from spying out the promised land, Joshua boldly declared these words: “Let us go up at once and possess it.” We see in this that although his faith confession was genuine, it lacked the Lord’s timing and present instruction.

This is why faith alone, without the Holy Spirit’s leading which incorporates wisdom and understanding, could have produced failure in their lives because they were not following the Lord’s direct mandate.

Many years later the Lord still teaches Joshua to meditate on the word until he observes what to do, showing that genuine success in the Kingdom requires both faith and divine direction. This same principle is what governed Moses’ leadership. Moses always refused to move forward unless the Lord moved first, thus choosing always to follow the Lord’s Presence rather than his personal initiative.

Likewise, we find that King David repeatedly inquired of the Lord before going into battle, and every time he followed the Lord’s instructions he experienced victory and good success. The Holy Spirit therefore urges us as Jesus’s followers to seek this same posture of dependence on Him by waiting patiently until His direction is clear rather than acting presumptuously based upon our personal opinions or assumptions about the Lord’s will. Habakkuk.2:1.

Finally, this word reminds us as followers of Jesus that the Lord’s thoughts and ways are infinitely higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8–11). True wisdom is found in us surrendering our own understanding to the Lord and embracing His perspective. Like the wind described by Jesus in John 3:8, the Holy Spirit moves according to His own divine purpose, and we as His followers are called to follow His leading rather than relying on our natural reasoning.

The overall call in this word is for us to cultivate a lifestyle of meditation, confession, with careful observation, and complete dependence upon the Holy Spirit to unveil truth to us so that our every step is directed by Him. This is the pathway we must adopt to ensure we walk in the enduring prosperity, fruitful ministry, and lasting success in the Kingdom of the Lord which He has qualified us to be partakers of.

In the name of Jesus, may the grace of the Holy Spirit rest upon you to become a diligent meditator on the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. May your mouth continually confess what the Lord says concerning you, and may your heart become increasingly sensitive to the voice and movements of the Holy Spirit. May every urge and tendency toward premature action, presumption, or reliance upon natural understanding be replaced with patient obedience and spiritual discernment.

As you meditate day and night on the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and observe what the Lord is directing you to do, may He cause you to make your way prosperous and grant you good success according to Joshua 1:8.

May you follow the Holy Spirit just as Jesus did, by walking in the Father’s perfect will, by seeing into His higher thoughts and ways being fulfilled in your life (John 5:19; Isaiah 55:8–11). May every venture you undertake under His direction become a testimony of His wisdom, power, and faithfulness, bringing glory to the Father in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

The Holy Spirit in my communion time with Him emphasised the vital importance of cultivating His character and fruit working through us in our daily lives. He began by reminding me of the foundational truth of our identity in Christ which means we are new creations. The old life has completely passed away and is never to be revisited.

We are called to pause and meditate deeply on this reality because it is who we now are. Everything has become new. We are now trees of righteousness, planted by the Lord Himself, producing the fruits of righteousness through His life working within us. So because we are the Lord’s planting, no one can uproot us or remove His divine nature from us.

The only way the enemy can rob us of anything is through deception. Satan cannot remove our new nature, but he seeks to deceive us into willingly yielding ourselves again as servants of sin rather than walking in the grace to do the Lord’s purpose. Therefore, we must remain steadfast in our identity of being seated with Christ in the heavenly places and continually surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit to work out that reality through our lives on earth. Ephesians.2:5-7.

The Holy Spirit then directed my attention to Galatians 5:22 through the end of the chapter, which teaches us that the fruit of the Spirit is not merely something for to admire but something that must be cultivated in our through our daily obedience to them working in us. Every action that flows from the Holy Spirit always produces lasting fruit that brings life, productivity, and eternal value.

One of the significant insights shared was that the Holy Spirit often allows us to remain in difficult or uncomfortable situations because these circumstances become the training ground where His fruit is developed within us. For example, long suffering cannot be formed in us apart from situations that test our patience. It is produced when we face repeated offences, frustrations, disappointments, and people who continually irritate us or seem slow to change.

These situations expose our natural reactions and provide opportunities for the Holy Spirit to transform our character from within our hearts until we respond with genuine peace, love, and grace instead of anger, retaliation, or bitter resentment. The Holy Spirit stressed the fact that the change He seeks is not primarily in other people but in us, our hearts. As our inward character becomes conformed to Christ, His love begins to flow through us regardless of the behaviour of others.

We are encouraged to pause, and meditate on the reality of this truth, then repent where necessary, and willingly embrace the correction of the Holy Spirit that produces lasting spiritual growth in our lives. We must always remember that the final goal is for us to be conformed to the image of Christ. Romans.8:29.

Further revelation was given by the Holy Spirit concerning what it truly means to walk in the Spirit which empowers us not to fulfil the lusts of the flesh. This is not merely a theological concept but a practical reality that is tested in everyday life, especially through our interactions with those closest to us.

The Holy Spirit continually evaluates our responses, then reveals areas that still need deeper transformation. When necessary, He lovingly allows repeated “tests” until His character is fully formed within us and we learn complete surrender to His leading.

Another warning the Holy Spirit gave was against us making the assumption that we have matured more quickly than we actually have. Many followers of Jesus mistakenly believe they have mastered certain spiritual lessons when they have not because they can quote the relevant word for the issue at hand.

This false confidence becomes a dangerous snare because it removes us from the position of humility and vigilance, thus leaving us exposed to the enemy.

Thinking we are spiritually secure when we are not always opens the door wider when we are exposed to drink in further deception, defeat, shame, and ultimately disgrace. The enemy desires these failures on our part to become a false testimony that serving the Lord only produces misery and disappointment, thus discouraging others from pursuing holiness.

Instead, we as followers of Jesus are called to allow the Holy Spirit, and not ourselves to be the true Judge of our spiritual condition because His assessment is always accurate and keeps us humble, teachable, and continually dependent upon Him to move forward.

As we submit ourselves to His Divine evaluation, we experience continual growth, as we recognise the fact that apart from His guidance and direction we would fail. Our daily surrender enables us to exchange our natural nature for His divine nature.

This communion tie concluded with the reminder that regardless of how many years one has walked with the Lord, every day with Him still brings fresh revelation, greater understanding, and new opportunities for spiritual enrichment.

We will always remain disciples, and never masters because we will never attain the Master’s position, but through continual surrender to Him we are graciously allowed to share in His life, character, and ministry.

The Holy Spirit is calling us today to reflect carefully on these truths, then receive the grace they provide, to make every necessary correction through repentance, and allow His fruit to mature within us so our lives are permeated with the fullness of God.

As we yield fully to His transforming work in our hearts and minds, our lives will become increasingly more fruitful, thus advancing the Kingdom of Jesus and bringing glory to His name through the working of miracles, signs and wonders.

Today, I receive afresh the truth that I am a new creation in Christ and that the old has passed away, and I am firmly established as a tree of righteousness, planted by the Lord and producing the fruit of His Spirit.

I on purpose yield every area of my life to the Holy Spirit and welcome His loving correction, knowing it produces Christlike character within me. I refuse all forms of deception, pride, and self-reliance, by choosing instead continual surrender to His leadership and evaluation.

I declare that the fruit of the Holy Spirit grows richly in me, overcoming every work of the flesh, and that my life becomes a lasting testimony of the Lord’s transforming grace. I choose to walk humbly as His disciple, by being continually filled with fresh revelation, wisdom, understanding, increasing fruitfulness, and unwavering obedience to His leading.

May the character of Jesus be fully revealed through my life, thus bringing glory to the Father and expanding His Kingdom here on the earth in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

This revelation is a call from the Holy Spirit to keep the word He has spoken over your life at the very centre of your heart and spiritual journey so that you will fulfil it. The warning is clear that if you do not remain focused on the specific word and direction the Lord has given you, lives distractions can gradually move you off course and lead you into paths you never intended to follow. Spiritual drifting often happens not through open rebellion but through neglecting the word the Lord has spoken over you by allowing competing voices and circumstances to influence your correct navigation.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the importance of us asking Him the right questions about how to proceed. It is not a lack of faith to ask the Holy Spirit why something is not working, or why your progress has stalled, or why a promise seems delayed from happening. Rather, such questions are what bring clarification and understanding on what you need to do, so that your confidence is resting on truth rather than assumption. The Lord desires His people to know exactly what He is saying and requiring us to do rather than us operating on speculation or human reasoning.

The Holy Spirit highlighted the example of Peter in Mark 11. While all the other disciples witnessed the fig tree that Jesus had cursed, it was Peter who noticed that the tree had withered from the roots and asked Jesus about it. Because Peter asked the question, Jesus revealed one of the greatest teachings on faith. Jesus had simply spoken to the fig tree and moved on, but Peter’s observation and inquiry opened the door for Jesus to explain the principles of faith, prayer, and speaking to mountains.

Through Peter’s question, we as followers of Jesus have gained revelation that enables us to move seemingly impossible obstacles by faith. The lesson is that revelation often comes to those who are willing to inquire of the Lord about how things should work out. The Holy Spirit reminded me of the situation many years ago where I learned to ask the Holy Spirit questions whenever he experienced failure, loss, or disappointment.

So from that time instead of just accepting a defeat, I sought understanding from the Lord on what had happened and how I could find a way out of it. Through this process, the Holy Spirit provided me insight into spiritual realities and corrected the misunderstandings I had concerning faith and people that would otherwise have limited my forward progress. The teaching of Mark 11 reveals that Jesus was not just merely demonstrating authority over a tree.

Rather, He was unveiling a principle of faith that enables us as His followers to speak to mountains which represent those immovable obstacles that stand in the way of the Lord’s purposes for our lives. Mountains that existed in the days of Moses and Elijah still remain in Israel, but Jesus was revealing how to use spiritual authority that can remove the impossible when exercised in faith according to the Lord’s will.

The Holy Spirit also reminded me of Samson’s experience in Judges when, after he defeated a thousand men through the power of the Holy Spirit, he became desperately thirsty. Although the Lord knew Samson’s need, water was not provided for him until Samson cried out to the Lord. This demonstrated the principle that Jesus later taught that we must ask in order to receive, we must seek in order to find, and we must knock in order for doors to be opened. The Lord always invites us into partnership with Him through prayer and inquiry rather than passive expectation.

I understand fully well how after years of studying Scripture my life was transformed when I started asking the Holy Spirit questions on how the scripture works to give me manifestation of its reality in the now. Through this process I came to understand how even the introductions to the New Testament epistles became the key source of the revelation. The Holy Spirit showed me that the promises and instructions within those letters were often directed to specific groups of followers who had met certain spiritual conditions.

This taught me that receiving the fullness of the Lord’s promises requires divine alignment with the Lord’s comprehensive truth and purposes. As an example, I noted that the Apostle Paul instructed the believers in Ephesus to put on the whole armour of God (Ephesians 6), yet he did not give the same instruction to the Corinthians Church because their walking in carnality and compromise placed them in a position of agreement with fleshly desires rather than an active resistance against the enemy.

This principle illustrated the importance of developing into spiritual maturity, obedience, and qualification for certain dimensions of spiritual authority and victory to work in our lives. The Holy Spirit revealed that many followers of Jesus fall short of experiencing the Lord’s promises in the now of life because they misunderstand truth, unfortunately embrace compromise and deception, or simply fail to ask the relevant questions that would bring the needed revelation for this situation.

Wrong beliefs always produce disappointing results, not because the Lord has failed us, but because the relevant understanding and alignment are lacking to cause things to happen miraculously. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is calling us as followers of Jesus to pursue Him more diligently, then asking Him the relevant questions concerning your lives, and seek His wisdom regarding the challenges and dilemmas which you face.

As you do so, the Holy Spirit will provide you with the clarity, the directional stance, and understanding that will keep you on course with His will coming into being in your life. By remaining anchored in the word He has spoken over you and by continually seeking His counsel, you can walk in the pleasantness, peace, and fruitfulness that He intends for you to inherit.

Today, I declare that the Holy Spirit is awakening within you a fresh hunger for greater truth, understanding, and divine counsel concerning His will for your life. May every distraction that has attempted to move you off course lose its power over your life.

May the Lord give you the wisdom to ask the right questions and the grace to receive His answers. As you seek Him diligently, may all the hidden truths you need be revealed to you, as all confusing situations become clear, and every obstacle standing before you be removed through your faith in His word.

May your heart remain fixed on what the Lord has spoken over your life which is immutable, as your steps remain aligned with His will, and your life will surely become a testimony of His faithfulness and guidance over you. May you walk in complete clarity of purpose, peace, spiritual accuracy, and increasing victory and triumph as the Holy Spirit leads you into all the truth and establishes you firmly in His purposes in Jesus’ name, Amen.

During my communion time with the Holy Spirit, a strong emphasis was given on entering the new season of glory by intentionally preparing one’s heart for the Lord’s purposes. This message arose in response to a desire that we the followers of Jesus receive and retain the vital truths the Holy Spirit is communicating to us daily, to enable us to fully partake of what the Lord is making available in this season in our lives

The Holy Spirit declared that it is time to prepare the way of the Lord in our hearts and make a straight path for Him as we enter a new phase of spiritual life.

This instruction is rooted in Isaiah 40:3–5 which reads these words: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The Holy Spirit revealed that this scripture always signals a transition into greater realms of glory, blessing, and divine advancement from the Lord. However before the Lord manifests a new level of His glory, He first calls His people into a season of reflection, adjustment, and realignment with the new goals He is preparing to happen.

The “wilderness” as described in Isaiah.40 is not just merely a place of difficulty but a place of quiet, uninterrupted fellowship with the Lord, where all natural distractions are removed and our hearts are positioned to hear His voice more clearly. It is a place where we as followers of Jesus evaluate our lives, examine the direction we have been walking, and making room to allow the Lord to correct anything we are doing that would hinder the path He has prepared for us to move forward.

The purpose of this preparation time is to remove the obstacles in our hearts that delay progress. Valleys we have passed through must be lifted up as a witness, mountains are to be lowered, crooked paths are to be straightened, and the rough places smoothed out so that we as Jesus’s followers can walk into the Lord’s purposes without unnecessary delays, detours, confusion, or stumbling blocks with unnecessary excess luggage which weighs us down . As these adjustments are made, the result is that the glory of the Lord is clearly revealed through us.

The Holy Spirit emphasised the fact that the seasons of fasting, prayer, and consecration are not just merely about having spiritual discipline. They are opportunities for us to become more responsive and pliable before the Lord. The truth being that a softened heart is always quicker to embrace divine correction and adjustment in how things work out.

This message highlights an important truth I have learned through years of walking with the Lord that even the most sincere believers can hold perspectives, assumptions, and thought patterns in their lives that do not fully align with Lord’s viewpoint. Therefore, preparation to take on more spiritual responsibility involves allowing the Holy Spirit to expose and correct the subtle fleshly thinking patterns that could hinder the manifestation of the Lord’s purposes.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of our thought life, because our thoughts always determine the direction we will follow. This is why Isaiah 55:7–9 is so significant. The Lord’s thoughts and ways are higher than man’s thoughts and ways. So the path we ultimately follow is shaped by the thoughts we choose to embrace. Therefore, as Jesus’s followers we must be willing to exchange our own perspectives for the Lord’s perspective on issues if we desire to walk perfectly in His will.

The Holy Spirit further revealed that there is a big difference between merely knowing what Scripture says and understanding the mind and intention of the Holy Spirit within that Scripture for the situation at hand. Knowledge of the word alone is not enough but the revelation from the Holy Spirit is what produces life and transformation.

As a result of this fact, we as followers of Jesus are encouraged to place every area of our lives before the Lord, including our beliefs concerning our Faith walk, who we are actually trusting the Lord or our perception of trust, what resources we are relying on based on our relationships and the people we are hanging around, based on the diverse circumstances and events we find ourselves involved in.

Each of these areas I have mentioned must be surrendered to the Holy Spirit so that our preconceived ideas, personal opinions, and human reasoning can be replaced with the Lord’s wisdom and perspective. The goal for us must be complete alignment with the Father’s will, because His will always leads us to the paths of life.

This principle is reflected in John 5:30 (Amplified Classic), where Jesus demonstrated total dependence upon the Father and refused to act independently of His will. The Holy Spirit also pointed to the example of Jesus in Luke 4:1–15.

Before entering His public ministry, Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness where His heart, mind, and responses were fully aligned with the Father. So only after overcoming temptation and remaining steadfast in His obedience to the Father’s will did He emerge “in the power of the Spirit.”

It was from that place of complete surrender and alignment that Jesus began demonstrating unprecedented manifestations of Kingdom of God on earth. His ministry carried such authority and power that His fame spread throughout the region as He revealed the heart of the Father through signs, wonders, miracles, and the preaching of the Kingdom message.

This message concludes by emphasises the fact that we as followers of Jesus are presently being invited to walk into a similar process with the Lord. The Holy Spirit is calling His people to surrender every thought, opinion, assumption, and expectation that does not align with Lord’s perspective.

As we prepare the way of the Lord within our hearts, we are positioning ourselves to enter a new season of the miraculous marked by greater glory, clearer direction, increased spiritual power, and a fuller manifestation of the Lord’s purposes.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that every crooked path before you is being made straight, every mountain of resistance is being brought low, every valley of discouragement is being lifted, and every rough place is being smoothed according to Isaiah 40:3–5.

May the Holy Spirit grant you a tender and responsive heart that quickly embraces His correction, wisdom, and direction. May every thought that opposes the mind of Christ be surrendered, and may the Lord’s thoughts become the governing influence of your life according to Isaiah 55:7–9.

I declare that you shall hear the voice of the Holy Spirit with greater clarity, by walking in deeper alignment with the Father’s will, and emerging from every wilderness season in the power of the Holy Spirit just as Jesus did in Luke 4:1–15. May the glory of the Lord be revealed in and through your life, and may you step into every purpose, blessing, and manifestation of glory prepared for you in this new season in Jesus’ name, Amen.
