This message is a deep and urgent call from the Holy Spirit for followers of Jesus to pursue a life governed by truth, through union with the Spirit of truth free in a place where you are from deception, by cultivating the eyes and ears of your heart under His authority.

The Holy Spirit emphasised that His greatest desire is for us to walk in truth, because deception aligns a person with the works of the enemy. These are the works that Jesus was manifested on the earth to destroy.1 John.3:8. Therefore, the central focus for us becomes the ability to allow our inner man that is our hearts to be directed and guided not by our personal opinion, human reasoning, or emotions, but by the Spirit of the Lord.

In Matthew 13:16–17, Jesus declares these life changing words, “Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear…”, revealing that this seeing and hearing in the heart is not physical but spiritual insight not available to the physical senses.

Though many great men such as Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Isaiah, and Ezekiel walked closely with the Lord, they all longed for the level of access to the heavenly realm that came through Christ Jesus. Luke.7:28. Jesus when speaking specifically to His disciples that is those who had surrendered all to follow Him highlighted that spiritual perception is reserved for those who are fully committed to Him.

This connects directly with Jesus repeated call during His ministry saying these words “He who has ears to hear, let him hear,” and again in Revelation 2–3, where He speaks to the churches through this revelation to the Apostle John, urging them to hear what the Spirit is saying.

This clearly establishes that there are ears and eyes of the heart that must be awakened and active spiritually to empower us to succeed in life on the earth . Likewise, the apostle Paul’s prayers in Ephesians.1 centre on the eyes of our hearts being enlightened, showing that true understanding of the Lord comes through inner spiritual illumination, and not intellectual knowledge alone.

This message underscores the absolute reality that this level of spiritual perception is cultivated over time through a consistent, diligent pursuit of the Lord. It requires an intentional communion with the Holy Spirit, through total heart surrender, and patience.

My testimony of walking and operating in the Holy Spirit highlights the reality of this word through many years of prayer and study of the word, through which the Holy Spirit revealed the deeper truths embedded in the word which clarifies who qualifies for certain promises in Scripture and who does not, based on the condition of their hearts.

This fact brings a sobering warning that not all believers can appropriate every promise simply by reading the Scripture. Books like Ephesians and Colossians are addressed to the faithful in Christ, whose eyes and ears of their hearts have been opened to the inner workings of truth to manifest the glory of the Lord. Whereas people can operate in presumption concerning the truth rather than understanding how truth operates thus leaving themselves vulnerable to deception.

The Holy Spirit further clarified the difference between receiving a single word of wisdom from the Holy Spirit and walking continually in the Spirit of wisdom. A single word of wisdom addresses a moment and situation in time, but the Spirit of wisdom operates continually to govern your life over periods of time with varying words of wisdom for each individual situation that arises.

This level of maturity only comes through ongoing surrender and growth in union with the Holy Spirit, by allowing us to discern the Lord’s perspective in every situation or circumstance in life thus enabling us to respond rightly in every situation.

Even the disciples, such as James and John, were corrected by Jesus when their hearts were not yet aligned to His perspective on who was fit to be a part of the Kingdom, which revealed clearly that spiritual growth/maturity is a process.

Scripture likens the pursuit of wisdom to the process of seeking gold which requires dedication, time, and value. So just as people devote hours daily to work for earthly gain, so must as followers of Jesus must invest time with the Lord for spiritual enlightenment to be clothed from heaven.

The condition of the human heart is described in Jeremiah.17 as deceitful and dark, requiring divine illumination. In 2 Peter 1:19–21, the Word is described as a light shining in a dark place until the “morning star” (Christ) arises in our hearts. This aligns with the truth that transformation only occurs inn our lives as Christ is formed within us that is our hearts, by replacing darkness with His light.

Even Jesus, though He is the Word Himself, “increased in wisdom,” showing that growth is a continual process not a single one day event. Likewise, the apostle Paul despite all his extraordinary spiritual experiences with the Lord declared that his greatest desire was still to know Christ more deeply. This establishes humility and lifelong pursuit as the vitally essential attitudes for every follower of Jesus to imbibe.

In this message the Holy Spirit is calling for a lifelong commitment to developing the eyes and ears of the heart to be completely aligned with the Holy Spirit, thus making them central to our very existence on earth. As this pursuit becomes our primary goal, all confusion, frustration, and oppression will give way to clarity, peace, and victory, as the presence of the Lord dissolves every obstacle standing in our paths.

In the name of Jesus may the Holy Spirit enlighten the eyes and awaken the ears of your heart to perceive and understand the deep things of Lord that pertain to your life and godliness. I decree that every veil of deception and darkness over your heart is removed now in Jesus’ Name.

I declare that as you pursue Him with diligence, may the Spirit of wisdom and revelation rest upon you, causing you to discern truth clearly and walk in divine understanding.

May Christ the Anointed One with all His anointing arise fully within your heart, by bringing light where there was darkness, clarity where there was confusion, and victory where there was struggle. From this day forward, may your life reflect a continual growth in the knowledge of the Lord, and His word working in you to remove every obstacle by causing them to melt before His presence as you walk in truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
