This message centres on a powerful revelation received during communion with the Holy Spirit, focusing on Jesus as the Mediator of the New Covenant, as revealed in Hebrews 12:24 which reads these words: “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”
The meditation began as the Holy Spirit unpacked the role of Jesus as a mediator, that is the one who reconciles two opposing parties, by resolving differences and establishing peace and agreement.
In this context, He reminded me that Jesus is revealed as the perfect Mediator who stepped into humanity’s fallen condition after Adam’s sin, where death and separation from God reigned in man’s life on earth. Recognising that sin had gained the advantage over mankind, Jesus took our place by becoming sin for us, thereby reconciling us back to the Father.
Through this finished work, He restored our position to sit with Him in the heavenly places and enabled us to reign in life through the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, as declared in Romans 5:17.
The message emphasised the reality that Jesus accomplished everything necessary to make us fully acceptable to the Father. As Colossians 1:22–23 affirms, those who were once alienated and enemies in their minds have now been reconciled through His death, and are presented holy, blameless, and above reproach in the Lord’s sight.
This is not a partial work, but a complete and perfect reconciliation that secures our identity as equal sons of God with Jesus and grants us access to our divine inheritance.
The Holy Spirit went on to highlight that it is Jesus alone who performed this work of mediation, to position us for glory. Therefore, as followers of Jesus we are called to place unwavering confidence in what Jesus has accomplished for us, rather than allowing condemnation, fear, or self-effort to dictate the course of our lives.
Through the blood of Jesus, we have been granted access into the very presence of God, that is the holiest place in the universe where we have assured audience with Him and access to every spiritual blessing prepared for us.
These truths are not abstract doctrines but are the keys to overcoming every obstacle and every opposing force that challenges the knowledge of God in our lives. The Holy Spirit actively reminds us of Jesus’ finished work so that we live from that reality and experience its manifestation, rather than striving through our own works or performance outside the abundant grace He supplies us.
The message urges us as followers of Jesus to fully rely on what Jesus accomplished as Mediator for us, by recognising it as the lifeline to grant us continual access to all covenant benefits.
This reality encourages us to take more intentional time to reflect, embrace, and give thanks to the Lord for this truth, by allowing it to saturate our hearts and override every negative thought, past failure, or sense of bondage which seeks to assail us. In doing so, we as followers of Jesus step into the true freedom that truth provides.
A strong emphasis of the Holy Spirit was placed on us walking in the authority that this covenant with Jesus grants us. The Holy Spirit desires that we as followers of Jesus live from this elevated position, by lifting us out of sorrow, doubt, and condemnation, and establishing us in the place of triumph in all things that pertain to our life and godliness.
This aligns with Luke 1:74–75, which declares that we have been delivered from our enemies to serve the Lord without fear, in holiness and righteousness all the days of our lives.
The message clearly contrasts the reality of the work of Jesus with the voice of the accuser, by urging us as followers of Jesus to reject condemnation entirely and fully embrace the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which sets us free from the law of sin and death.
These truths are described as living realities which means that they spirit and life and not just mere words, and must be actively engaged with to be experienced daily.
Finally, this message calls for a personal response which is to allow these truths to take root deeply within your heart and to permit the grace they carry to bring real transformation.
As you followers of Jesus embrace your true identity and position in Christ, will become expressions of God’s glory and living witnesses of His resurrection power by bringing life to what is dead and manifesting His beauty on the earth for His glory. This life is marked by the fullness that Jesus came to give us as declared in John 10:10.
Today, I declare in the name of Jesus that your eyes are opened to see Jesus as your perfect Mediator, and your heart is established in complete confidence in His finished work.
I decree that every voice of condemnation, fear, and unworthiness is silenced, and you boldly enter into the presence of the Lord through the blood of Jesus. I decree that you will walk in the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, by reigning in life as the Lord has ordained concerning you.
I declare that the Holy Spirit is actively reminding you of all that Jesus has accomplished for you, and you will live from that place of victory, authority, and access. I decree that every obstacle opposing your destiny is being brought low as you stand firmly in the truth of the New Covenant.
In the name of Jesus you are free from the law of sin and death and you are now empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve the Lord without fear in holiness and righteousness all the days of your life. From this day forward, your life will manifest the resurrection power of Jesus, by bringing life, transformation, and glory to His name in all you do and say in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
