This message is a deeply personal and instructive exhortation flowing from communion time with the Holy Spirit, centred on trusting the Holy Spirit’s direct guidance by overcoming all fear through His intimate leadership.
It begins with the revelation from Isaiah 41:13, where the Lord assures His people that He holds their right hand, as He whispers in the midst of trouble to them do not fear, and promises His instant help. This establishes the foundation of this message which portrays that the Lord’s nearness is personal, active, and deeply involved in our events as He guides every step of our lives.
The Holy Spirit then reveals Himself as Our true “Coach” as opposed to any human figure such as a spouse, pastor, or apostle, but He as the primary and authoritative voice we as followers of Jesus must follow.
He emphasises that it is His voice speaking encouragement, direction, and courage, by leading us forward triumphantly into the Lord’s specific plan for our lives. This divine coaching program involves guiding us to take unusual actions and decisions that align with the Lord’s plan, even when those steps are not understood or supported by others.
A key theme to understand is that not everyone will understand or agree with what the Lord is leading you to do and this message illustrates this fact through the example in Jesus’s life, where His own mother, Mary, at times did not fully comprehend His actions or words, which resulted in misplaced responses to the Lord’s plan for Jesus.
Despite this motherly intervention, Jesus remained steadfast in His total obedience to His Father voice. In the same way we as followers of Jesus must prioritise hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit above all other opinions, even from close or well-meaning individuals.
The message further clarifies that the Holy Spirit’s guidance will never lead us into sin, although it will often require boldness to lead us to take actions that may appear risky, uncomfortable, or even alarming to others.
Examples of this include the situation in John.11 when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead despite Martha’s fear and concern about public embarrassment, or in the situation when Peter attempted to prevent Jesus from going to the cross, only to be sternly rebuked by Jesus for siding with human opinion.
These moments highlight the fact that human reasoning, often rooted in fear, can oppose divine purpose, and must be resisted if the will of the Father is to be established.
Another powerful example the Holy Spirit brought to mind was the account of Philip in Acts.8, who was led by the Holy Spirit to leave a large, fruitful ministry in Samaria to go into the desert for a single individual, the Ethiopian eunuch who had just come from Jerusalem.
This act of obedience, which may seem illogical from a human perspective, resulted in the spread of the Gospel into Africa. The revelation underscores the fact that the Lord values our obedience to His voice over visible success or human logic, and points to the reality that His plans always transcend our understanding.
The central exhortation flowing from this word is clear that we as followers of Jesus must follow the leading of the Holy Spirit without fear, by boldly taking the steps He instructs in order for us to fulfil the Lord’s will.
Even when fear is presented as the primary obstacle from the enemy, we must be strong enough to overcome it by trusting in the Lord’s presence, guidance and power. This is because the miraculous power of God is released not through hesitation or reasoning, but through obedience to the instructions of the Holy Spirit.
Finally, this revelation calls us as followers of Jesus to yield to the grace flowing towards us through this word to allow it to empower us to act beyond our fears and step into the divine purpose set before us. As you boldly take the steps you will witness extraordinary and “stupendous” results that can only come from aligning with the will of the Lord through the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Today, I declare that the Lord your God is holding your right hand and speaking clearly into your life, saying, “Do not fear, I will help you.” I declare that the voice of the Holy Spirit is rising above every other voice, by bringing clarity, direction, and divine confidence into your life. I decree that you will no longer be moved by fear, doubt, or the opinions of others, but you will walk boldly in obedience to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
I declare that every step you take in alignment with the Lord’s voice will position you for the rich fulfilment of His perfect will concerning you. I decree that the grace of the Lord is empowering you to act courageously, even when it defies natural reasoning, and as you promptly obey His voice, the miraculous hand of the Lord will be revealed in your life.
I decree in Jesus name that you will see extraordinary results, divine breakthroughs, and the unfolding of the Lord’s purpose in ways that bring Him glory through your life in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
